The Detroit Pistons clinched the East #1 seed with 4 games to play. They did so without Cade Cunningham, who is likely out till the playoffs due to a collapsed lung.
Cunningham is stuck at 61 games played, with 65 being the cutoff for awards such as MVP and All-NBA. Also caught up in this rule are Anthony Edwards and Luka Dončić.
The Bulls waived former Pistons guard Jaden Ivey after spewing anti-LGBTQ+ bile and calling Catholicism a "false religion" on social media.
As they did with Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson, the Detroit Lions made Frank Ragnow repay part of his signing bonus when he retired with two years left on his contract.
Lions' CB Terrion Arnold put out a statement refuting suggestions he was at the center of a text message thread connected to a Florida kidnapping.
The Michigan Wolverines have stormed their way thru the NCAA Tournament, scoring 90 or more in each game while beating every opponent by double digits. They face UCONN in tonight's title game.
