It's been 100 episodes of The Sunday Soother!!!

To mark this occasion, I'm sharing my philosophy and approach of personal transformation that I call the forest, the meadow, and the river of misery.

Many of us are living in a forest without realizing it. Some of us make it to out the forest only to be faced with what I call the river of misery: the difficult experience of truly going after the dreams we want, whether it's self-love, a partner, or a new career. Most people will turn back from the river of misery, assuming because, well, it's miserable, that something has gone wrong. But it hasn't. And if you can cross the river of misery, you can root and flourish in the truly beautiful meadow beyond its banks.

I learned the phrase "the river of misery" from Brooke Castillo of the Life Coach School and I forgot to credit her in the audio. ALSO I SEE A SNAKE AND I SCREAM REALLY LOUD during the recording, my apologies (I was recording outside as I am wont to do),

Finally, at the end of the podcast I tell you about my upcoming mastermind for sensitive women, Soothe. The waitlist for that is here.

The Sunday Soother is a spin-off the popular newsletter, The Sunday Soother, a weekly newsletter that creates conversations around compassionate personal development and helps readers access their spirituality and mindfulness in practical, actionable ways.
