SPEAKER_01 (00:05):
What's going on everybody?
Welcome to the King CloserReacts.
I am the King Closer RJ BatesIII, and this is the series
where I'm gonna watch somevideos, see if I agree or
disagree.
Let's get into the first video.

SPEAKER_03 (00:17):
You must embrace cringeness.
You will not be cool.
It will not look good.
You will suck.
And everyone will know you suck, and you will know you suck.
Again, it's do I care more abouttheir version of me or my
version of me?
And am I willing to be a work inprogress or am I unwilling to do
it because I want to keep mycurrent station in life?
You have to decide whether youcare more about your future than
what other people think aboutyour future.

(00:37):
Someone's version of you has todie.
It's either your desired versionof you or someone else's desired
version of you.
And the thing is you're gonna bewith you a lot longer than
there.
Take everything at the verybeginning of our project to
fear.
And justify it.
It's it makes sense to beafraid.
Like there's a lot of risk, there's a ton of unknown,
there's so much stuff they don'tknow.
The only thing I can also say isthat it also between the exact

(00:58):
same positions every otherperson started.
They don't know.
The only way to know is tostart.
There's an obsession withknowing the entirety.
And it's because we wantcertainty.
We want to know that if we doall of these things, it's going
to work.
And you don't.
You want certainty for a worldthat we could be done.
And if you're uncomfortable withthat, first it might not be a
lot.
But I I even say that and Ialmost regret saying that

(01:20):
because I was so risk-aversewhen I started.
Like people see the content nowor the CEU now, and you're so
confident and great on podcasts.
And like, but I'm sure the firstpodcast you did, you like look
at it and you just absolutelycringe, right?
It's horrendous.
It's horrible.
But the thing is that you mustembrace cringeness.
You will not be cool.
It will not look good.
You will suck.

(01:40):
And everyone will know you suck, and you will know you suck.
Again, it's do I care more abouttheir version of me or my
version of me?

SPEAKER_01 (01:47):
So it's funny that that's the first video that I
react to.
I'm recording this on August 6,2026, which is mining Cassie's
entrepreneur anniversary.
And he's talking about thecertainty when you become an

(02:07):
entrepreneur.
And I look back at our journeyand what we thought on day one.
The reason why this is ouranniversary is because it's the
day that we created our firstLLC.
And that was Fairway Solutions, which was going to be an

(02:28):
insurance supplement businessfor contractors.
We were supplementing theinsurance claims.
Then it got into roofing, general contracting.
I don't think I ever would havebelieved you back then that, hey
RJ, you're going to be anationwide virtual wholesaler,

(02:51):
and you're also going to coachpeople from around the world on
how to do nationwide virtualwholesaling.
And oh, the majority of yourtime is going to be spent in
front of cameras, and you'regoing to create content.
You're going to create contentdaily.
I would have been like, what areyou talking about?

(03:13):
I I'm deathly afraid of being infront of a camera.
I hate lights and cameras.
I won't do it.
And I don't know anything aboutreal estate.
There was no certainty.
Our entrepreneur journey hasjust been, honestly, being along
for the ride.
Whatever next opportunity, whatdo we need to do to grow and be

(03:34):
uncomfortable?
And with no certaintywhatsoever.
The only certainty that I'veever had as an entrepreneur is I
am not going to go back toaccepting a check from somebody
else.
And that's just honestly,because I'm batshit crazy.
Most people are not batshitcrazy.

(03:56):
They don't desire thislifestyle, and I don't blame
them.
And so I agree with Alex therewhere he's talking about like,
hey, if you need that certainty, this is probably not for you.
He's absolutely right.

SPEAKER_03 (04:09):
Friendly reminder that most people are fat, poor,
pansies, and don't listen tothem when they try to deter you
from doing whatever it takes tosucceed.
The average person will alwaystry to keep you average.
It makes sense that if you wantto be extraordinary, you will do
things that an ordinary personwould see as extra.
This is the really hard partthat I had to come to terms with
is that a lot of people want tosee you fail because it

(04:31):
justifies the risk that theychose not to take.
We always have to think aboutlistening to the people who are
closest to our goals, notclosest to us.

SPEAKER_01 (04:42):
I guess this is the Alex Hermozzi episode, which is
a little bit unexpected.
You do this on purpose.
Make me respond to Alex overhere.
Listen, um, when he's talkingabout the people that are
average are gonna try to keepyou average.
Start creating content if youwant to know what he's talking

(05:04):
about, specifically TikTok.
Go put something out on TikTokof you doing something amazing,
and the world will let you knowthat you're a piece of shit
because you're going out andyou're doing great things and
making money while doing it.
Um, it's amazing how I can calla motivated seller and save them
from losing their house in twoweeks, put money in their

(05:26):
pocket, completely change theirlife.
They cry on closing day, thankme, send me handwritten letters
talking about how positive Iimpacted their life.
You put it on a social media oryou tell somebody and they're
like, oh, so you're a vultureand you prey on people that are
in terrible situations, and thenthey want to tell me how bad of
a person I am.

(05:47):
I I just have gotten to thepoint at this point that I don't
listen to that noise anymore.
It doesn't matter.
I know what I do helps people inmultiple regards, whether it's
my wholesaling operation, myeducation, and I understand that
there are people out there thatare going to sign up for
Titanium University.
They're not going to succeed.

(06:09):
They're going to think that Ifailed them.
I'm okay with that because Iknow that I show up every single
day.
I know that it does work for themajority of people, and I know
that I'm going to continue topour into them.
And if they use thatinformation, they will be
successful in the long run.
I know that what we do on thewholesaling side helps people

(06:30):
because that's the way that wenavigate our conversations
within side of the closure'sformula.
I literally just got done todaydoing three and a half hours of
seller call reviews for TitaniumUniversity members, again,
pouring into them, like I willcontinue to do every single day,
but talking and teaching themabout hey, your objective here

(06:52):
is not to get a signed contract.
Your objective here is to findout does this seller need to
sell a piece of real estate fora discount and make us the
solution?
So I completely agree with Alexon this tape.

SPEAKER_02 (07:06):
You cannot wish for a strong character and an easy
life.
Each is the price of the other.
What if what you're goingthrough isn't hard?
What if you're just sensitive?

SPEAKER_03 (07:16):
I think that most of us can look back on our lives to
10 years ago and think about theproblems that we were dealing
with then and think about howmuch of a pittance and how small
those problems were compared tothe problems that we deal with
today.
I then think, okay, well, if Ifeel that way about the problems
that I had 10 years ago, then 10years from now, Alex will look

(07:37):
back at the problems that I'mdealing with today and feel the
same way.
And so if he feels that way thenabout the problems that I have
now, then the only difference isthe perspective that he has that
I don't have.
And so I might just be asensitive little pansy.
And maybe these aren't problemsat all.
Maybe these are just facts oflife and I need to habituate to
them.

SPEAKER_01 (07:57):
So again, interesting.
I'm gonna lean more on myexperience um within kind of
running Titanium University onthis take, because my issues
that I was dealing with 10 yearsago was how am I going to make
enough money wholesaling to paymy bills, to pay the mortgage

(08:20):
and the electric bill and feedmy three-year-old baby?
And like those were the issuesthat I was trying to overcome.
Can I do this frequently enoughto sustain a just regular
lifestyle?
And now here I am, you know, 10years later, and I now carry the

(08:42):
burden where what I teach, whatI say to do, impacts 1,100
people, probably similar to thatposition that I was in 10 years
ago.
That burden that I carry, I Icare about that.
It's it impacts me daily.

(09:02):
I think about the words, the thechoice of what video I'm gonna
make.
Is there a specific specificobjection that I could teach
people or is there a better wayfor me to convey that message on
the closer's formula or compingand underwriting?
Is there a new system that Ineed to be looking at?
I'm always thinking about theamount of lives that that will

(09:24):
impact.
And he's right.
Uh the problems I had 10 yearsago are very, very minute in
comparison to today's problemsthat I feel that I carry.
I can only imagine what that'sgonna be like in 2036 because I
I only anticipate having a muchlarger burden to carry, but I

(09:45):
welcome it.
I ask for it every single day.

SPEAKER_03 (09:48):
Imagine you talk to the creator of the universe
before birth and pick the personyou get to become.
You say, I want to be the mostcourageous.
The creator replies and says,Well, then I will give you
monsters to terrify you so thatyou can conquer them.
Then you say, Well, I want to bepatient.
Well, then I will make you workharder and longer so you can
learn to wait.
I want to be wise.
And the creator replies, then Iwill give you failures that will
crush your spirit so you canlearn the value of judgment.

(10:09):
You then say, Sounds like arough life.
Can you give me a good life?
Creator replies, just like wemeasure the quality of a
blacksmith by the strength ofhis steel, I measure you by what
you are at the end, not the fireand the hammer it took to make
you.
A good life isn't a life that'seasy.
A good life is a life that makesyou into a good person.
And that, my son, is a hardlife.

SPEAKER_01 (10:30):
Man, that was that was fire.
Maybe I need to go click thefollow button on Mr.
Ramosi over here.
I knew my boy Nick Robbins uhfollow them for a reason.
That was that was a really goodtake.
And it's uh again, it the timingof it is is pretty funny because
I I made a post on on myFacebook yesterday about having

(10:53):
just a pretty just chaotic, likebad day.
Not like, oh my goodness, I wantto quit and my life sucks day,
but kind of like, what the fuck?
kind of day.
Like, can anything go right?
And not much did, but there weresome really good moments.
And like, my that was kind ofthe message of my my post.

(11:17):
It's like, I ask for thisresponsibility.
I ask for the opportunity forbecause what I do means
something to other people, tome, to the my team, the people
that I've surrounded myselfwith.
It matters.
I wanted that, and so because ofthat, there's gonna be days
where it's really bad.

(11:38):
That fire and the hammer.
I I'm okay with going throughthose bad days because at least
I know that I have something tofight for.
It means something now.
And in the past, I would lookback on bad days and it would be
more about just emotionalfeelings and something wasn't

(11:59):
going right, but it didn'treally mean something in the
long run.
It didn't mean something to asignificant amount of people,
and now I look at it and I go,every decision, every way that I
respond to things, it matters.
And he talks about asking thecreator, which in what I believe

(12:21):
is God.
Um, if I had the opportunity toask God um before I was born
what I would want to be, Ihonestly I don't say this from
an egotistical standpoint, but Idon't know that I would change
because I don't know any otherway to be other than who I am.
So I don't know what it's liketo be somebody else.
And at 41 years old, I've kindof enjoyed who I've evolved to

(12:47):
become as a leader, how Irespond to things.
And I almost put it in my post,so I'll say it here.
I almost thank God for creatingme the way that He did because I
don't understand why I respondedand reacted to what happened
yesterday the way that I didafter it happened.

(13:08):
It was kind of like that wasmeant to happen.
I'm glad that I went throughthat moment or these moments
during that day because it'sgoing to make me stronger.
It's going to give me a lessonthat I can teach somebody else.
Maybe this will help somebodywhen they're going through a bad

(13:31):
time.
How to navigate that, how toreact, how to respond.
I don't know.
I just, I'm extremely gratefulfor the journey that I've been
on and how it's kind of impactedhow I react to negative things
today.

SPEAKER_00 (13:50):
Do what it takes! You said you wanted to change
your life.
You said you were gonna changethat dream.
You said you wanted to becomesomebody your younger self could
be proud of.
So what the fuck are you waitingfor?
Is it the perfect moment?
Because those don't exist, thatthe pressure gets too heavy,
that the road stops looking theway you thought it was.

(14:13):
Because growth was neversupposed to be comfortable, that
the journey was never supposedto be easy.
And the moment things start toget hard, that's the moment a
lot of people give up onthemselves, but not you.
So you must keep going.
No matter how ugly it looks, nomatter how long it takes, you
must get to it by any meansnecessary, and you don't stop

(14:36):
until the life that you oncedreamed about becomes the life
that you are living.

SPEAKER_01 (14:43):
Listen, I've yelled on stage before.
That was impressive.
Because about halfway through,he wanted to lower his tone
because it was starting totingle in his throat.
He wanted to drink something, hewanted to tone it down.
That was impressive.
But I also completely agree.
I mean, I I say those things allthe time to TU members, to other

(15:07):
entrepreneurs, and it's thisisn't meant to be easy.
It's not meant to be easy.
I I mean I talked about the callreviews that I did today.
One of the call, well, actually, all of the call reviews that I
did today, I mean, I I really II care about these individuals.

(15:30):
One of the individuals is hasbeen a real estate investor for
27 years.
Who am I to review her call?
But I did.
She cares about my opinion.
She put herself in anuncomfortable position.

(15:51):
And it was also uncomfortablefor me to tell her this is not a
good call.
This is where you're makingmistakes.
Because that's where she's gonnagrow.
She's gonna go get a signedcontract, she's gonna get out of
that uncomfortable position thatshe's in because she's been
doing this for 27 years in herbackyard and she's trying to

(16:11):
expand out of it.
It's uncomfortable growth.
Next call review that I did wassomebody that's brand new inside
of TU.
An amazing personality, superenergetic, smiles all the time,
great within the community.
And I had to chew her ass out.
I had to tell her this is notgood.

(16:34):
I can tell that this is yourfirst call review, I can tell
that you're making mistakesbecause you haven't dove into
the modules, you haven't fullyembraced what the closer's
formula is telling you to do.
And so it was uncomfortable.
But we do have to understandthat if you truly want these
cliche statements, I want my Iwant to live the life that my

(16:56):
younger self will be proud of.
Do you are you willing to gothrough what it takes to achieve
that?
I'll be honest with you, themajority of the time, people are
not.
So today, on this beautifulSaturday or whatever day that
you're watching this, askyourself are you really willing

(17:17):
to do what it takes to beuncomfortable, to grow, to
achieve something that themajority will never achieve?
Because more often than not, theanswer is no, you're not.
You're gonna give in to needingto have consistent paychecks,
that job.

(17:38):
You're gonna need that certaintythat will never be promised to
you.
You're gonna find that excuseplus a story to blame somebody
else, to blame the leads, thementor, the RJ told you to do
this and it didn't work.
Rare, rarely do I find somebodythat holds themselves

(17:58):
accountable, has that extremeownership, has that drive no
matter what, and says, I will dowhatever it takes to achieve
success.
The actual success that I say Iwant.
That's rare.
All right, guys, that's our veryunique King Closer Reacts
episode.
It was uh the Alex or Mosey, andthen some dude on a black screen

(18:23):
just screaming that uh hey, maybe you should start a metal
band.
He's he carried it there forabout a minute straight.
So hope you guys enjoyed thisunique episode of King Closer
Reacts.
Let me know if you did in thecomments.
Regardless, show me some love.
