Seth Benson | WUW 410

Seth is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A product of Washington high school and one hell of an athlete bloodline. A typical under recruited kid relative to the D1 scene, he fielded offers from the Dakota schools and the like before the Hawks came knocking. After coming into the program with the head down work hard mindset, looking to get playing time on special teams, Seth found himself as a staple of those units already in year 2, and a starting Mike Linebacker in year 3. His career would blossom into 'one of the most underrated' of all time according to fellow LB Jack Campbell, and Seth was a vital part of the Hawkeye Defense for the last 3 seasons. We discuss his path to Iowa City, the crazy 2020 covid season, some of his favorite memories from the LB room, his plans after football and more!
