Order. What's up, friend, and honey, I'm not even gonna
do my little spiel about how crazy the case is.
I'm just gonna start reading, so please buckle up because
this is this is something.

It says, hey, ki key, am I wrong for changing
the locks after my father in law let himself into
our house while I was in the shower. I have
been married to my husband for three years. His dad,
Rick has always had boundary issues. He's the type who
believes that family should never knock, and he has always

had a spare key to our house since we moved in,
which I never agreed to. Rick uses the key randomly
to drop by. He pops in while I'm working from home.
He brings over food that I didn't ask for, and
if he catches me on my work break at home,
he will just start going on rants about how I
emasculate his son because I am the bread winner, so

it's safe to say I don't really like Rick. I've
asked my husband multiple times to talk to his father
about just randomly popping up at our house, and he's tried,
but Rick brushes it off with jokes or guilt trips,
saying that I'm trying to exclude him from bonding with
his family. Well, last week, my husband was away on
a work trip, so that morning I got out of

the shower and walked out of my bathroom to go
to my bedroom half naked, and Rick was standing right
in the middle of my kitchen. When I screamed, he said, oh,
my bad, I didn't know you were here, and claims
that he came back.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
To drop off a slow cooker. I freaked out.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
I told him to get out, and he had the
audacity to say that I was overreacting and acting like
I had something to hide. Damn, this man is crazy.
After he left, I called the locksmith and had the
locks changed. The same day, when my husband came home
from his trip, he was furious, but at me. He said,
I overstepped by making a big decision about the house

without talking to him, and now I've cost a rift
between him and his father. Okay, husband, husband, child. My
father in law of course, is plain victim and telling
the whole family that I'm punishing him for caring about
his son and wanting to visit, and that I've poisoned
his son to be against him. Some family members are

siding with Rick, and saying that he's just a loving
dad and oh, that's just how he is, and I
should have handled it differently, but I don't care. I
no longer want my father in law to have access
to my house. Am I wrong?

Whoo girl? Okay, I got I gotta keep this one short. Girl.

You're not wrong, You're not wrong at all, and your
husband is on the complete wrong side of history. I'm
sorry your father in law has he is completely stepping
over the boundaries like he is, crossing so many boundaries.

You know. I don't even like people coming to my
house unannounced any nobody. The only person I.

Want in my house unannounced is the Amazon man, and
even I know when he gonna pull up. Okay, I'd
for someone to have a key to your home and
just let themselves in. And then why are you coming
when your son is on a work trip? I mean,
if you know that your son works outside of the home,
why are you continuously popping up in the middle of
the day when your daughter in law is at home

working from home. When she's at home alone, you don't
need to be there, Rick. And the fact that he
popped up on you after you got out of the
shower and just like casually stood there. To me, that's
alarming as well. He should have screamed too. Oh hell no, girl,
you are not wrong. Okay, I need I need the
