Speaker 2 (02:36):
All right, here we go, Greg Cosel joining us weekly
visit brought to you by our good friends at Seattle Cider.
It's time to talk all things Seahawks, Seahawks and the Falcons.
Coming up on Sunday, ten am Pacific time over on
Fox thirteen.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Greg, my friend, how are you.
Speaker 4 (02:52):
Probably better than Max Brosner was doing on Sunday?
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Ooh that was ugly? Huh that was ugly.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
I felt, you know what, I felt so badly for
the kid because you know, you know, I watched Tate.
You know, I've been doing tape for years, and look
when you watch a young quarterback, and it's so common
with young quarterbacks, and you know, obviously he's probably not
gotten a lot of reps, you know, because they had
McCarthy then they had wins, and you know, my guess
is he's just not gotten a lot of reps. And
(03:19):
you can just see because I've been doing this, you know,
you see it with cam Ward. You still see it
to some degree with cam Ward. You see it with
Sandur Sanders. You know, he just started the game. He
was playing so fast mentally and physically.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
You know.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
It's and I remember when I started working with Ron
Jaworski years and years ago, and he would say to me,
and it really resonated. And now when I see a
young quarterback, I know exactly what he means. It's a
classic case where he's they see everything, but they don't
really see anything, you know what I mean. It's it's
you can tell they're just there's no clarity whatsoever. It's
(03:52):
just it's he's probably just seeing a lot of movement,
but with no sense of what that movement is really
all about.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Well, he had one year in a Power or five
conference power for a conference school at Minnesota and came
from New Hampshire.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
After that.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
I did laugh a little bit last week before the
game hearing stuff out of Minnesota, Greg like, well, you know,
there's there's a lot of people in the building wondering
how different are the Viking season would look if Brozman
was a quarterback all year. I mean, they're pumping his
tires up. I get all that, but it's like, no, man,
you Mike McDonald, Mike mcdall took you to class.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
I was just gonna say that, you know, And people
have to understand, this is no referendum on Max Brosner
in his whole career. Who knows what's going to happen,
you know, I guess McCarthy is due to play this week.
Then we'll get to Seattle obviously, But when all said
and done, you know, the guy's, you know, a rookie
and he played one year you know, at Power School
and he was in New Hampshire. You know, let the
(04:47):
kid grow a little bit.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
You know.
Speaker 4 (04:48):
It's not like I said, it's not a referendum on
his career. It's just when I watched these guys, I
can see how they're struggling, you know, you can. I
can just feel it.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Well, Greg Cozelle joining us the Seahawks will see a
guy with a little more experience this week. Kirk Cousins
been around for a day or two, right, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
And and and it's interesting to see the change in
their offense with Cousins from Penix, There's there's a significant change.
And obviously Mike McDonald and staff will know this. It's
not going to be news. I'm not giving you a scoopy.
And here I'm just telling you what it is. I
thought it was a lot more under center. Yeah, there's
a lot more under center. There's a lot more under
center play action. There's zone run game, which is clearly
(05:29):
the foundation of of what they do with the run.
I think they've I think Jon Robinson has the most
outside zone runs of any back in the league, and
he to me, to me, Jon Robinson is the best
back in the league. I know some well you know
that's a debatable point. Just giving you my opinion based
on my study. But it's a different offense with Kirk
(05:50):
Cousins because he's a totally different quarterback than Michael Pennix.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Just looking at the numbers, Greg, with this team, this
Falcons teams on offense, They're total offense is ranked seventeenth
three hundred and thirty four yards a game. Their rush
offense is one hundred and thirty or at one twenty
three point nine that's ninth in the league. Pass offense
is eighteenth points per game, though just twenty sixth in
the NFL. So I look through those numbers and I
(06:15):
think it goes back. Especially against a team like Seattle,
which by the way, has the number two rush defense
in the NFL and has not allowed one hundred yard
rusher yet this season, I would assume they're gonna Are
they gonna try to force feed Bijon against Mike McDonald's defense.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
What are they gonna do, Well, it's a our matter
of force feeding him. I think they're going to believe,
quite frankly, that they have to run the football. They
Kirk Cousins is a drop back passer. You know, it's
play action, it's it's dropped back. He's not gonna make
plays with his legs. He's not a creator. He's not
a playmaker. So you can't go into a game saying,
(06:50):
let's drop him back fifty times. You know, and their
old line has been up and down, you know. Obviously
they're playing with a backup right tackle all season long,
who's been very uneven. Matthews the left tackle as a veteran,
but he's been even at times as well. So yes,
it's not a matter of force feeding Robinson. They're going
to have to be able to have some success running
(07:13):
the ball so they can have enough value. I mean,
you know, and obviously they play two backs, so L's
year is going to get snaps as well. But Robinson
is really the guy. I mean, he's averaging also over
eleven yards a reception, which is remarkable for running back,
and he's got over fifty catches, so he's to me,
he's so critical. And Drake London was just announced as
(07:35):
being out, so they're going to be short at the
wide receiver position. So you know, Robinson to me is
a key player. They'll split him out in this game too.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
By the way, do they do anything with both him
and Algier at the same time or is it one
or the other.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
They do, they do, and they will in this game
because of the loss of London. So you'll see Robinson
basically play wide receiver on some snaps because he's capable
of it and he's very good at it, and you'll
see Algier in the backfield. That will definitely happen in
this game.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
How hard a matchup is that for a defense in
Mike McDonald's defense or is that just Hey, you're going
to see maybe see Nicky Men Warrior or just going
to play don't whatever you're gonna do. I mean, I
think that's an interesting chest match.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
Then it depends on whether you're choosing to play Man
or his own. You know, the question is emn worry
if they play Man, I would think the matchup would
be pits the tight end.
Speaker 3 (08:24):
Oh okay, but yeah, but you know again.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
You don't know that. You know, it's these are the
things that they're working through. They know that London, you
know it's going to be out so not. I'm sure
they prepared for that to some degree even before it
was officially announced today. You know, they these coaches always
have a plan. It's not a matter of oh we
just found something out, let's change everything. That's not going
to happen. They have a plan.
Speaker 1 (08:46):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
But it'll be interesting to see, you know, what they do,
because Robinson will detach from the formation and there's no
question he can run wide receiver routes.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Greg Cosell joining us courtesy of Seattle Cider. The Kirk
Cousins in from Michael Pennix Junior. For if people have
been under a rock or something he's he's done. He's
got the knee injury again. Just a horrible situation for
the former Husky who obviously dealt without a lot before
he got to Washington, was healthy for the last few
years and obviously ends a year unhealthy and they got
(09:18):
they got some issues going into next season. So that's
a long term injury.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
We'll see.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Kirk Cousin's been around. We joked about it for a while, Greg,
what do you see from Kirk Cousins twenty twenty five
on tape?
Speaker 4 (09:29):
Yeah, I mean he's he's just stylistically and he's the
same guy he's always been. I mean he's he's an
under center, drop back, play action quarterback. That's what he is.
If you can protect him, he can read it out
well and he can look really good. He's always look
Kirk Cousins for years in Minnesota, he put up huge numbers.
I mean, for some reason, he had this bad reputation,
(09:51):
I guess because he never made it to a championship
game or obviously not a super Bowl. But if you
look at what he did four five, six years, I
don't know the exact number of years in Minnesota, but
you could almost book it before the season that he
was going to throw thirty touchdowns and you know, eight
interceptions and you could book it, and he was a
really good player. He'd always have it, which seemed like
two bad games a year, you know, which some quarterbacks do.
(10:13):
But just a really solid player, but a specific kind
of player. Just not quite as gifted as someone like
Jared Goff, but stylistically very similar. You know, drop back,
play action, read it out, make the throws.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
You know, that's who he is. He's not going to
be any different. I'm the thing that kind of jumped
out at me a little bit. With the Falcons and
especially sees It, it felt like every time I watched
the Panics play earlier this year, or even with Cousins
and his lack of mobility, they've only given up and
you just talked about the right tackle situation, they've only
given up nineteen sacks the Falcons this year. Yeah, that's crazy,
(10:47):
like I would have thought that number one. I mean,
for example, now both teams have forty plus sacks going
into this game. Sales got forty and Falcons have forty
one sacks made. Yeah, but only nineteen times the Falcons
quarterback's been sacked this year. I see, I figured that
that should be like a field day for sales defense
going against Cousins.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
And very often that's a function of the quarterback, you know.
I mean, look, someone a lot smarter than I am,
Tom Brady. You know, when I get to listen to
him when I watch Red Zone on Sunday and hear
him doing a game, the one thing he always talks
about and like I said, he knows a little bit
more than I do. He always says that that sacks
are a function of the quarterback more than the old line.
So I think that's more a function of the quarterback
(11:26):
in many cases. Look, is there all line great in Atlanta? No,
but it's certainly not bad. I mean it's not, you know,
one of the worst O lines in the league anything.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
You know.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
Matthews, even though he can be up and down, it's
played a long time. He's a solid left tackle. So there,
the O line is fine, you know. And Cousins definitely
has a great feel for how to play the position,
just like any quarterback that's essentially a pocket quarterback. Again,
if you can put them in a lot of long
yardage situations, it limits the play calling for an offense.
(11:57):
You know, people have to understand if you're in third
and nine, there's the offensive coordinator is not choosing from
fifty plays, He's choosing from five or six concepts that
you practiced all week in third and long situations. I mean,
I remember I had a great conversation years ago with
Carson Palmer after he retired, and I remember asking him that,
you know, saying, hey, tell me about what happens on
(12:20):
third down. And he said, Hey, there's five or six concepts.
He says, I know what they are. I know I'm
going to get one of them. It's none of it's
a surprise. You know, you're not. That's the way it works,
you know. I don't know what fans think, Oh, there's
fifty plays to choose from, but they're not. That's not
the way it works, because you've got to practice this stuff.
You can't practice, you know, fifty things during the week,
you know. So it's you know, and Ryan Jeworsky has
(12:43):
he's mentioned, you know, working with him for years, he
would say he knew every time they got into whatever
the situation was, he pretty much knew what the play
call was going to be because that's what you practice.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
That exactly makes all the sense of the world. Great
co Sale joining us. All right, let's talk on the
other side of the football. The Seahawks defense, we know
has just been elite this season, and we'll talk about
them and keep going. But the Seahawks offense has been
an interesting dynamic this year. JSN, Jackson Smith and Jigba
having a career year, having a possible still on pace
to get a record setting year in the NFL in
(13:14):
terms of receiving yards. He's got thirteen to thirty six
right now going into this game on eighty two catches,
already just putting up massive numbers. He was held a
little bit in check last week by Minnesota, and the
Brian Flores defense came after Sam Donald in a big,
big way. There's a little concern here. Donald's had a
few games recently where he hasn't put up numbers and
(13:37):
looked a little off swords. What are you seeing from
our quarterback out here?
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Well, first of all, you play each game to win
that game. The game they just played was not a
game that required Donald to drop back forty times and
throw for three fifty. But I think there were two
things that you come that I came away with watching
that tape number one. They did have issues, particularly on
third down, with the Vikings pressure, and the Falcons are
a pressure team, so that's just something that they've got
(14:01):
to clean up. Obviously, the pressures are going to be different.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Not every team runs the.
Speaker 4 (14:05):
Same pressures, so I'm talking a little more generally, I in,
but there was no question that on third down, you know,
the the Vikings lined up in what we call that
loaded front, where they had three defensive linemen to one
side of the center, and they put the two linebackers,
Cashman and Wilson mugged up on the ball opposite that
loaded front, and you didn't. So they basically have a
six man front. You don't know who's coming, who's not coming,
(14:28):
who's dropping, you know, and they struggled with that. I mean,
there was one time Wilson got in clean through the
A gap and he forced Arnold to run out and
throw it away. You know, obviously that's a mistake. You're
never letting anybody in clean through the A gap. But
the Falcons are a very good blitzing defense and it
while they won't do exactly the same thing, they have
(14:48):
a linebacker Kaden Ellis, who's a very very good pass rusher.
You know, they've got the two young kids, Walker and
Pierce who are sort of developing, who are capable of
winning one on one matchups, so you have to be
at well wherever that Plus they play a lot of
man Now again, we'll see if they do that. That's
been their mo o pretty much all season long. The
(15:09):
other thing that that I really noticed this week and
did a little more research into it, and I'm sure
I don't know if it's been talked about on the
radio during the week, but they've not really integrated Shaheat
into their passing game yet. He's only been targeted eleven
times in four games. I don't know if that's something
that you've talked about throughout the week, but to me,
I mean, that's something that has to start happening well,
because you got it, he's a certain kind of player
(15:31):
and you got to take advantage of what he is.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Yeah, And I was gonna add, honestly, that was the
next thing I was going to ask you, is about
Rashichi Now he was asked Mike McDonald's asked. I was
at that press got his Wednesday press conference about him,
and he's like, hey, you know, we're we're excited about him.
You know, he said all the right things, did my
kind of little coach speak. You know, we're working into
the offense he's created. You know, he made he made
the point while he's creating stuff for other people because
they got to respect the speed. So maybe that opens
(15:55):
something up for somebody else. But you know, four catches
in four games and without Tory Horre and they need
this guy right now. You know, are you seeing a
guy that's that's that's doing the right things on offense
or are they just not finding the football to him?
Speaker 3 (16:07):
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (16:08):
You know that that's hard for me to know, and
I'm being honest. You know, I get asked that a
lot when a receiver isn't targeted a lot, you know,
like you know when I when I talk to forty
nine ers and they say, what's going on with rookie Piersol?
He's only been taught. You know, I never know why
a guy is not targeted. You know, that's that's a
hard thing to know. But we do know that he's
got tremendous speed and with very few exceptions, you haven't
(16:32):
seen much vertical you know, many vertical routes, so you know,
I just think, to me, again, I'm not in their
meeting rooms. I'm not going to sit here and say
here's what they should or shouldn't do. But I just
found it really interesting, and not in a great way,
that he's only been targeted eleven times in four games
because he has a certain, you know, specific set of skills.
I feel like Liam Neeson when I said that, and
(16:53):
take it if you remember the d I've got a
certain set of skills. Yeah, so you know he's got
a cert and seat of skills that you'd like to
at least take advantage of. Now, does that mean you're
going to throw eight deep balls a game. No, but
you know he can. He's got terrifying speed, and you know,
I think you want to at least, you know, deploy
(17:15):
that somewhere in the course of the game.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Was it just the game plan last week, not needing
to really do anything and and you know the defense
taking care of business and the pressure that Darnold was under,
or what do you chalk up to the fact that
last week JSN just didn't didn't put the numbers he
normally does.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
I think I think it was one of those games
where it became evident. That two things became evident. Number one,
that the Vikings were not really going to score very
much and if anything, but they certainly weren't going to
score very much. And number two, the pressure element was
making it a little difficult for the Seahawks to deal with.
It was one of those games. So I think the
fielding was the way the game is playing out. We
(17:54):
don't need to drop back, We don't need to force
the issue. We don't need to start, you know, driving
the ball down the field and taking unnecessary risks in
our past game. You know, don't forget there's always games
during a season ian where the goals just to win
the game, you know, And and you know, you don't
want to overanalyze. The coaches will analyze everything. That's their job,
(18:15):
but you don't. For you and I talking, we don't
want to make this game against Minnesota, which by the way,
they won. See that's the thing they did win, you know,
So you don't want to make it seem like this
is who they are. This is the way that game
played out, and they played that game the way it
needed to be played in order to win.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
I'm gonna wrap it up with this great coach sail
brought to by Sales sider. I want to bring it up.
I'm gonna go back to the defense for a second.
I'm gonna bring up two guys names. Ernest Jones, the
fourth was the NFC Defensive Player of the Week, had
the two interceptions, becueing the pick six. He doesn't do
that without the play of the front guys, and that
would include DeMarcus Lawrence.
Speaker 4 (18:51):
And I'm just trying to have an unbelievable season.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Yeah, and I'm just trying to think back when he
was brought here to Seattle. I know we discussed him.
I don't even know how we discussed him, but I
mean it was like he's a big name because he's
a cowboy and all that, but we're all kind of
wondering what does he have left in the tank. If
you can just touch in on what jumps out of
you on tape between Lawrence and Jones.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
Can I just tell you about two plays that really
stood out to me in the game. Yeah, one is Lawrence.
One is Witherspoon, I mean Jones Jones. I thought Jones
had a phenomenal game, particularly in the run game. I
thought he was physical, he was competitive. I mean he
was quick to key and diagnose and trigger I mean
physical with stack and shed. He was the second level
tone setter for the defense. I thought he was great,
(19:32):
But I don't know if you remember these plays. Witherspoon,
did you see him run down Hockinson on that thirteen
yard screen pass?
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
I mean he came from the other side of the
field and he ran him down. And to me, that
probably is a great snapshot of who Witherspoon is. The
guy is super competitive, he never gives up. He's a
swagger player. I mean that place really stood out to me.
And then there was another play, the the fumble by
(20:01):
Aaron Jones. This is a Lawrence play that the Lawrence
desire and pursuit to cause the Jones fumble that was
recovered by Olcada in the third quarter. Do you remember
that play? I mean that was Lawrence. I mean this
team on defense, because obviously defense is tactical. We know that,
you know it's but you're seeing a team playing with
such high level intensity and competitiveness on the defensive side
(20:22):
of the ball. They're fun to watch.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
It's good stuff all the way around, all right. Greg
Cosell ESPN Matchup Show senior producer there at NFL Films
as well all things NFL Video Films, and we love
having them on every single week. And let's see, Oh,
you know what you're gonna get next week off, sir,
I forgot to tell you that.
Speaker 5 (20:41):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (20:42):
I chess already told you that.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
Ye next week off. What's going on here?
Speaker 3 (20:45):
I don't know, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
It's it's it's this big. We had one special show
a year where they kicked me off the air. There,
I say, they are my friend Greg Bell and Jessman
are back at the Army Navy game back in Baltimore.
Is a Baltimore We'll be having soft Shell Crab, Blue
Crab or whatever back there and hanging out doing an
Army Navy in Baltimore.
Speaker 6 (21:05):
Yeah, this is my fourth year doing the Army Navy
Show game.
Speaker 7 (21:09):
Yeah I do. Yeah, it's in Baltimore.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Yeah for you.
Speaker 6 (21:12):
Yeah, so we do a show from Radio Row on
Friday before the game and then Greg and I get
to go to the game.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
Yeah. So that's what they do. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:19):
So I know, well, I'll miss you guys next week.
I missed oll last week. You know, I was like,
what do I do?
Speaker 3 (21:24):
On you know.
Speaker 4 (21:24):
And by the way, just I'm sure you probably figure
out that Friday. You know, I was in the office
at seven, I watched tape till six at night.
Speaker 3 (21:31):
Yeah, I knew that. I mean I was, I got.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
It was Actually, thanks guy was actually on Thanksgiving Day
at five point fifteen and watched tape till twelve thirties.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
Because you're a machine, I've got two. I've got two
of those in my in my professional life. You and
a guy by the name of Millin. He was his
first name, right, you know, it's the there's never enough
time in the day to watch the tape. But you guys,
that's why you guys are so popular and why people
love listening to you. But yeah, so well, and then

we did earlier this year. Next week's a Thursday night
(21:58):
game against the Rams. We'll have to do the Friday
post PostScript post. Hopefully it's a celebration of watching tape
after the Seahawks and the Rams play on the eighteenth, sir.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
Wow, well, hopefully I can do that. We'll talk about that, yeah,
because that's a huge game. By the way, division.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
That more than likely will be when it's all said
and done. All right, my friend, thank you, have a
great week. We'll talk to you in two weeks time
or so.
Speaker 4 (22:24):
Righty, And thanks so much. That a great one, that.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
Is the great Greg CoA Cell. We appreciate him. We
appreciate our friends at Seattle Cider. Make sure you swing
out the tasting room open for all ages now pick
up some of the fine libations they got at seal.

I hear big news, as our friend Eric Gordon and
(23:43):
Northwest Handling system said, you know what, we kind of
like this every Friday hearing from one Danny O'Neil. Let's
do it again in twenty twenty six. So sir, whether
you like it or not, you're back for another year
next year.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
I am super excited and I'm very grateful. And it
just shows goes to show you that when you when
you write about the swimming exploits of one Eric Gordon
as I did when he was at Bellevue High School,
like you never know the relationship that's going to develop
him in twenty twenty six years later, he's he's he's
finding a way to support some of my work. And
I'm really really excited to be back.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
I'm excited to have you back as well, you know
who else is back? Segue segue alert, professional segue alert.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
Who else is back?
Speaker 7 (24:23):
That was really good.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
Danny's favorite coach, Jed Fish, looks like he's back. Let's go,
let's go, let's go.
Speaker 6 (24:32):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
Nothing much in the way of any suspense on that one.
Speaker 8 (24:36):
It was kind of like he was mentioned and.
Speaker 5 (24:38):
Then all of a sudden it happened, and you just
didn't really hear his name. And I'm not entirely sure
what to make of it.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
Well, you know, I look, you look around, right, and
he hasn't accomplished anything at Washington yet. Doesn't mean he won't,
but he hasn't. You know, he hasn't taken a First
of all, he hasn't take I did law. I had
to hear that, Danny. I did laugh, and he even
pumped it up to day O. You only brought in
all these new players, blah blah blah. Every new coach
(25:06):
in the country does that. And you didn't inherit a
program that was downtrodden. You inherited a program that was
I believe the runner up for the National Championship. I
could be wrong, maybe I miss maybe I misread that
game against Michigan. What it meant, but dude, like, yes,
you were in a pretty good situation. Had a great
recruiting class though this year struggled on the road in
the Big ten, so I'm thinking his stock wasn't all
(25:28):
that high. But if I was a Husky fan, Danny,
I'd be like, yeah, I'm good with him coming back.
He's got good players, the quarterback probably stays, et cetera.
I like the trajectory of the program. I think it's
a good thing. If you're a Husky.
Speaker 5 (25:40):
Fan, Absolutely it's a good thing. And I chucked myself
up as one of the people who really wanted him
to come back. I'm not sure if I wanted him
to come back so badly that I was willing or
wanted Washington to break the bank if it came to
a bidding war. But I absolutely wanted him back because
I think that next year with this quarterback could be
(26:02):
really special. I think what's interesting to think about in
it From Fish's perspective, He's now positioned like would he
want an extension? And the easy answer is, but yeah,
you always want to raise. He would always want to raise.
But from his perspective, he might also look at it like, hey,
(26:23):
I'm poised to go to the playoff next year like
we and I definitely believe Washington has a chance to
do that. They played a ton of true freshmen this year.
I think they've got some really good Rainy Sale as
well as as as Robinson, as well as Dillard Allen.
On the defense, they they played some true freshmen that
really look good. The offense I think is going to
(26:45):
be even better next year. It needs to be better
against premier competition. If you're Jed do you do you
look at it and say, hey, I'm I'm okay sticking
with what I've got, and then if this pops like
it could pop next year, it's my contract is not
going to be a huge impediment that there's not going
to be some sort of buyout now. The reality is
in the way college football works, is that even if
(27:06):
he were to sign an extension right now, it doesn't
rule out the chance of something happening in a year
from now. It's really year to year arrangements at this point.
But it is a very interesting sort of situation. And
if you're someone who does believe that Jedfish is the
absolute best long term guy for this program, you're really
hoping that they do an extension right now, because a
year from now he might have maybe not debor like leverage,
(27:30):
but he might have a ton of leverage and get
a lot of interest from bigger program.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
You know, Danny and Daniel Neil joining us by to
my Norfolk sailing systems.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
I think to me it.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
Kind of feels like a win win for both sides,
though right now in the sense that you dubbed didn't
have to pay him more. But like you said, his
stock is It's not like he's going to go to
the poorhouse anytime soon, and his stock probably will go
up next year, you would assume, because there should be
an upwards trajectory for the program.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
Kind of win win. I also like the.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Fact that I don't know who the guy is, whoever
the athletic director is at Washington.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
His name escapes me, but that guy it does. I
don't know. Maybe I'll go ask.
Speaker 8 (28:14):
Who shall be named?
Speaker 2 (28:16):
I'll go ask, I'll go I'll go out. Can you
get me a find do with some fact checking on
the I'll ask purple.
Speaker 7 (28:22):
Ship's two syllables first and last.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
But I mean, the normal knee jerk reaction across the
country is any coach that that you know, that looks
and glances at the other pretty girl, the other pretty school,
that athletic director immediately comes running into their office with
a contract extension, right, And so they didn't do that,
they didn't put themselves in that position. So kind of
a win win all the way around. We'll see, uh,
and then good luck in whatever bowl game. Probably, I
(28:46):
think Holiday bol right, I.
Speaker 5 (28:48):
Think it's going to be l able.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
We'll see.
Speaker 5 (28:53):
We're not going to have to listen to them talk
about the value of extra practice because I think that gets.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Like that's next, It's next, sent It's next Saturday, Like
you're you're in it.
Speaker 8 (29:04):
Man.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
Well, I'll tell you this.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
The best thing about the LA Bowl for Washington and
for Washington fans, I can tell you guys right now,
it's no longer the Jimmy Kimble bole because when it
was that and Wazoo played in it, it was the worst.
It was the worst experience of my football viewing life.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
It was.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
It was the worst worst thing I've ever been a
part like watching that game, listening to him make fun
of everything in the game and all this. I'm like, dude,
you like, like I don't know maybe these kids are
working their ass off. They didn't tap out, they're playing
this game. How about you show some respect, you tool,
like just you know, it just was and you're not funny,
(29:40):
Like you know, when you're not funny, then just stop it.
So I think he's gone from that, which is good
for you guys. So if you play in that and
then you're done, that's good where you go. Yeah, you
do want to worry about the extra pre you get
five extra practices.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
Enjoy. Thanks for coming.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
So hey, let's talk see you ext real quick before
you before you head out. You wrote about it. I
think it's a great point. The is theirs, big big
shout out to Bryce and David Canalis and the Carolina
Panthers on it's right there in front of them.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
Now, that was a surprising a result. And maybe I
didn't take Carolina seriously enough, or maybe I just overestimated
the Rams, but I mean the Panthers, I mean they've
knocked Stafford around and he'd been playing as efficiently and
as dangerously as any quarterback in the league. And yeah,
(30:28):
it's all laid out in front of the Seahawks. It's
a weird year in the NFL. You don't have their
right now. The two top seeds are two teams I
don't think anybody really takes seriously. No, Chicago is a
they're an underdog this week, and Denver I think right
now when I looked ahead, they're an underdog when they're scheduled.
(30:49):
Maybe a home underdog in week fifteen. Right now against
Green Bay. It's a really strange year where nobody really
takes the top all that seriously. And look, the Seahawks
got a defense, and they that that defensive improvement has continued.
They've got as good a shot as anybody.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Well, at some point Caleb Williams gonna have to be
accurate and throw a ball, you know. I mean, I'm
gonna try to channel my inter humill if I get
this right, throw the ball to the right person with
accuracy on time. Okay, those three things, that's those are
the key elements to quarterbacking. That is courtesy of my
friend Hugh Millen. I don't know if Caleb Williams does
(31:27):
two of those three things on any on an even
given throw, much less all three. So at some point
that's going to happen. But yeah, he can't argue with
where they're at right now the Bears. But I'm with you,
I just wish the Niners would go away. Like, I
don't know what this is. This is like you live
in the land of cockroaches?
Speaker 3 (31:43):
Is that?
Speaker 2 (31:43):
Are they just the cockroach in the NFL like like
you guys have in New York or rats, they just multiply.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
They don't go they don't go away.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
Yes, However, here's the one thing is that the cockroach
that is the forty nine ers is kind of getting
cocky right now, and I'm starting to hear a little
little bit of the Kyle Shanahan should be a Coach
of the Year. They've withstood this wave of injuries and everything.
It's like, yeah, we don't. I don't know if you're
that good. And really you got very fortunate to win
(32:12):
one of those two games against against the Rams, and
if it comes down to a game against the Seahawks,
I don't care that that game's down there. I think
I think Seattle is a whole different cut of meat
at this point. I look, I think that they're in
the right spot where they've now gotten a little bit
cocky and maybe they're primed to absolutely catch an upper
(32:33):
cut right on the chin.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Would that then be more like the rats that you
were telling me about when the garbage was left in
the street. They kind of walk around like they run
the show, and then all of a sudden, you know,
there's some poison laid out and they're no longer with us.
Speaker 5 (32:45):
There's three types of rats here in New York. There
are the ones that scurry away and show the proper
difference to humans. Those you can totally coexist with. Then
there are the slow rats.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Those are the sick.
Speaker 5 (32:56):
Ones, and perhaps you need to be the most worried
because you cannot end anticipate anything that they're going to do.
And then the third are the imperious and serious rats.
These are the ones that kill pigeons. These are the
ones that will come and take food directly off of
your plate.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
You need free.
Speaker 7 (33:12):
I can't confirm.
Speaker 5 (33:13):
I can confirm, Oh god, those are the ones that
should be more of you. They are more akin to
a Bobcat than an actual rat. And those those I
actually run.
Speaker 3 (33:24):
From, which are the forty nine ers.
Speaker 5 (33:27):
The forty nine ers I think are the sick grab
That's that's what I think they are, because I think
that they're kind of just wandering around. They don't really
know what to do. They're dangerous, you can't really trust them.
But I think ultimately they're not going to be a spearsome.
They're not the Rams I think are the Bobcat rats
I think I think I think the Rams, the Rams
are worthy of our respect. Forty nine ers, you just
(33:49):
need to kind of steer clear of and don't let
them bite you.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
That's what people made pellet guns for, or BB guns
for those.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
Those things. That's what they four.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Of course, we lived out I say all that we're
living down We go to work here on inter Bay,
and Interbey's got the biggest rats outside of New York
City in America. So it's like you'll see him wandering
through the garage every now and then downstairs, and you're like,
is that a coyote?
Speaker 3 (34:15):
What is that?
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (34:16):
No, it's a rat.
Speaker 5 (34:17):
I know We've got to go. This single most amazing
thing that I have ever seen another human being do
was one of my college roommates who shortly after we
graduated from the University of Washington. We were living in Wedgewood,
which if anybody knows that part of the city, it
kind of butts up against what's called Thornton woodshed, which
is a creek. It's right there kind of by Nathan Hale.
(34:38):
And I watched my roommate, who was an avid hunter,
perch himself on a coffee table in our living room
with the door cracked four inches and shoot an arrow
with his compound bow and shishka bob a rat that
had come up to eat food underneath our deck and
(34:58):
left it there for three weeks to send a message
to the other rats.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Right, I want to come back.
Speaker 9 (35:04):
Message sense, message sense sometimes listen, sometimes those things need
to happen. It's like I don't know, like you know,
taking out cartel boats with airstrikes sometimes sometimes sometimes sometimes
you're a victim of who you are.
Speaker 5 (35:22):
Right, I am so close to saying things that might
Ruin written that Eric Gordon and Northwest Handling Systems would
not want to be associated with. So I'm just going
to pipe down and say, my friend from college can
come to New York and kill all the rats you want.
Speaker 3 (35:36):
I love it. You're in the basketball. Talk to you soon.
By the way, Dani a postery how can people subscribe?
Speaker 5 (35:41):
Go to Danny O'Neil dot com. And currently I am
putting together a list of how to deal with the
pestilence of Oregon fans for other fans, other college football fans.
So that'll be sent out probably on Monday, maybe too, Sie,
but I think, oh.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
I can't wait to read that, especially coming from a
Husky fan. You know, you guys are the same person, right,
the Duck fan We are not.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
We are not. They are the Beverly Hill Phillies of
college football. We are smug and annoying like Tuski fans
like I recognize that that we are smug and annoying
between them, Ducks are the Beverly Hill college football.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Okay, I'm off next week because Jess is at the
Army Navy game.
Speaker 3 (36:18):
So in two weeks.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Time after I read that, we will have this conversation
and continue with that until then, Danny, have a great
couple of weeks, buddy.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
That's Danny O'Neill. Dang apostrophe brought to you by Northwest
Handling System. Shout out to Eric Gordon and the crew.
Can't wait to have Danny on for another year. We
got a quick I did go along there nine goals
against last night. We'll do a daily power play because
we have to coming up next, You're gonna.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
Crack me good, down Suffers.
Speaker 1 (37:01):
This is the Daily power Play and your.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
Voting for the Kraking Sports Radio ninety three point three

Speaker 1 (37:16):
The Daily power Play is brought to you by Si Kwahanda,
the logist inventory of Caboda equipment in Kane County.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
Now your daily.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Look at the National Hockey League and the Seattle Kraken
with the infernetz.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Oh Daily power Play brought to you by good friends
at Iskuwahanta Caboda. I'm gonna make this quick today. Nine
goals giving up last night. It was a bad night,
bad night for your Seattle cracking offense finally got going.
Defense didn't make the trip, got stuffed by customs at
the border apparently. And Lane Lambert was some kind of
(37:55):
mad and I loved it. I like that, you know what? Unacceptable?
And Piper asked him a question after the game, would
you say their team?
Speaker 3 (38:02):
After the game? He looks at her nothing, WHOA, that's like,
I'm not mad.
Speaker 7 (38:09):
I'm disappointed.
Speaker 2 (38:11):
Detroit here tomorrow, seven o'clock. Gotta to win, got you
to win, Gotta get going again. Great start to the season,
kind of scuffling along lately gotta getta got a good win?
Oh boy, am I am I that's that's our daily
power play real quick. I'm just being highly entertained by
Sarah Spain. Yes, she heard every day the promos.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Have we figured out? Are we the only show that
her promo plays on?
Speaker 7 (38:37):
It's a rotation?
Speaker 3 (38:38):
But no, it's every day, we have it every day.
Speaker 6 (38:41):
No, but I mean the iHeart adds are a rotation
and ours is consistently.
Speaker 7 (38:49):
Yes, that is correct.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Yeah, so she took a shot at the Seattle Times.
They didn't have the Torrent story up on the front
cover of.
Speaker 7 (39:01):
The sort copy. Editor made a mistake.
Speaker 6 (39:05):
They wrote the Sirens one instead of the Torrent And okay,
here's the thing.
Speaker 7 (39:10):
It wasn't above the fold.
Speaker 2 (39:12):
Yes, it's still on the front page of the hard
copy for women's hockey. And yeah, they had eight thousand
people there, which is awesome. I think it's great. I
don't think I need somebody who has absolutely zero listen.
I'm not liking to defend the Seattle Times, but as
(39:34):
our buddy Alexakita pointed out, they do probably more coverage
of women's sports than any major newspaper in the country.
The Storm get I think more coverage than they frankly
deserve based on readership and numbers and true attendants and
things like that.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
The thing with the Torrent is there a little bit.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
More mainstream, I'll say, in terms of their audience than
say the Storm are. It's new and it's exciting. It's
also an Olympic year. You're gonna see Olympic women's hockey
in February. There will be plenty of that in the Times.
But the fact that they had it there on the
front page. Relax, lady.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
Listen, hating all things men or not women.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Or not women, and making everything an agenda as she does,
everything's an indictment on well, they must not like women's sports.
You don't understand our market. This is about as pro
loving when I say pro, not professional, it's about as
pro women's sports a market as you're gonna find. Yes,
(40:37):
the Rain do well, the Storm do well. The torn
I had great success early on.
Speaker 3 (40:42):
They're new. Relax, God, she just drives me insane.
Speaker 1 (40:47):
Man.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
I hate having that voice on during when I'm on
the air.
Speaker 6 (40:52):
I just figure out when an agenda is necessary before
just creating one.
Speaker 7 (40:57):
Because you've got shenta.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
Screen trick, right, she's getting destructed.
Speaker 6 (41:01):
And I'm a woman in a male dominated I played.
I just I think it makes women's sports look bad.
If you're using that as some torch, you know, maybe
talk to people in the market, maybe figure it out.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
Not everything that is placed with or on a you know,
in a newspaper or a shot whatever. Not everything has
to be an indictment. No, not everything has to be. Hey,
they're anti women and women's sports.
Speaker 3 (41:30):
No, that is.
Speaker 7 (41:31):
They were on the front page of the hard copy.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
You know, weird.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
I mean, I don't know how people how many people
even pick up a hard copy anymore? If you if
you went to the front page of the Sale Times
dot com, it was front.
Speaker 3 (41:42):
And center, yes, right there, oh yeah, with a.
Speaker 2 (41:44):
Picture and everything on the on the web that day,
which is where more people consume it anymore. Sarah, you
worry about Chicago. You worry about Caleb Williams thorn of passes. Okay,
how about you worry about your NWSL team, which was
the worst in the league last year, the Chicago team.
You were about them. Don't worry about us. We're good.
We're good.
Speaker 3 (42:03):
Go Torrent.
Speaker 2 (42:06):
I might if I was cracking on my sign Murphy
and put her in goal tomorrow because she was better than.

I'm good?
Speaker 1 (44:34):
Now.
Speaker 2 (44:34):
Listen tonight tonight before we get to even college football tonight,
shout out to your Mount Tahoma Are they what are
they now?
Speaker 3 (44:43):
The Thunderbirds.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
Thunderbirds, Yes, the Mount Tahoma Thunderbirds in the state title game.
You can hear that game on nine to fifty am,
the a iHeartRadio app as well. Mike Benton on the
call tonight. And you're a Mount Tahoma guy. You gotta
be real proud. That's we talked about it a little
bit last week with Todd Millis Man. What a great
(45:04):
story your school is to get to the championship game,
my friend.
Speaker 8 (45:09):
Well, I certainly I appreciate that. I mean, I am
just kind of bursting with pride over the accomplishment of
this team. The coaching staff, the head coach, Keith Terry
is a mansil mcgraduate as am I. I'm very excited
for him. His defensive coordinator Dion Alexander. Both he and
again the head coach Keith Terry are not only coaching
(45:32):
the boys football team now to our first state championship
appearance since we won back to back state titles back
in nineteen seventy nine and nineteen eighty, but they are
also simultaneously coaching the girls flag football. Lot of the two
guys that are just putting their hearts and souls into Mountlahoma.
We have so many great players, including one who's already
(45:54):
a UW commit, Elijah Durr. The cornerback. The quarterback Mike
at Cordero as a former student of mine who is
just not only a talented athlete, but just a quality
human being that very much represents our school very well.
My favorite player ian from a scouting perspective, Number three
Felix Diaz. He's undersized, but the kid plays the game
(46:16):
kind of like a Devin Witherspoon of the Seahawks and
just incredibly instinctive. Is much more of a hitter and
a playmaker than his dominative size might allow people to suspect.
So again, I'm just bursting with pride over what the
accomplishments of these what these men have done on the
field so far, on and off the field, and certainly
excited about what they might be able to do tonight
(46:39):
seven o'clock at Husky Stadium.
Speaker 2 (46:40):
And again we'll have that game forty nine to fifty
on AML on the iHeartRadio app, as well exclusive coverage
of the state championship weekend right here in KJR. All right,
championship weekend in college football. Because we always tend to
run out of time, we'll just start with the kind
of the marquee games. Will just work our way down
and there's no more marquee game, although it's one of
the later games of the day, five o'clock on Saturday.
Number one Ohio State, number two Indiana, and maybe a
(47:04):
couple of your top players eligible for the draft.
Speaker 3 (47:06):
Is that right?
Speaker 8 (47:08):
Oh? No question? I mean number one, number two players
in the draft. In my opinion, Arbell rees that outside
linebacker edge rusher for Ohio State. I think he is
probably the odds on favorite to go number one overall
if the draft was held right now. The Tennessee Titans,
the only team with only one win, you know, they
(47:28):
would have the right to that selection. And of course
they made the move to bring in the quarterback cam
Ward a year ago. They're not going to be taking
another quarterback at number one. So Rbell revees six forty
threey pounder. To me, he reminds me a little bit
of Michael Parsons and that he is a guy that
played a lot of his college ball at the off
ball linebacker spot. But in the NFL, to justify a
(47:50):
selection that high, you got to have the real twitch
off the edge. He certainly has that. You know, when
the Huskies played Ohio State, one of the reasons Demaral
Williams wasn't able to have as much success as because
Ohio State had two speedy linebackers they were able to
kind of pen him in the pocket. RDL. Reese was
the guy who played that spy role. So again, absolutely
(48:13):
dynamic talent, Caleb Downs with being the other player. We
talked a lot about the you know, the two time
All American, all his success that he had Alabama now
to Ohio State as well. It's rare ian that you
see a safety who is legitimately worthy of top five consideration.
In this guy's numbers as far as statistics don't just
don't pop off the screen, but just he impacts the
(48:35):
game in so many ways as a hitter, his instincts
and coverage. He is a dynamic punt returner who can
take it back to the house. In my opinion, he
is the safest player in this draft class. Whether they
will both wind up going to top five remains to
be seen. Of course, that's rare air for any program,
especially you know in today's era it's all about offense.
(48:56):
But at the same time, I do think that these
are easily two of the best players is on the
football field, and that's saying a lot considered talking about
Ohio State team that arguably the two best players are
two true sophomores, the quarterback Julian sand and of course
the wide receiver Jeremiah Smith. So they're not eligible for
this year's draft class. But Ohio State is the reigned
champions for a reason, number number one ranked for a reason.
(49:20):
But Indiana, by the way, happens to have arguably the
best quarterback in the country and Fernando Mendoza, and they
have a host of other draft eligible and draft worthy
prospects of their own.
Speaker 2 (49:31):
Ray Or you know, when you mentioned that Caleb Downs
is the safest pick in the draft, uh, you know,
you know who my mind immediately goes to. And you
and I covered that draft. You know, you know what
I'm talking about. I do, because Hello, Aaron Curry, come
on down exactly. But that's not the case. This guy's
a true playmaker, right.
Speaker 8 (49:53):
He really is. And Aaron Curry, you know, had every
uh you know, he certainly was a very effective player
at the collegiate level. There's a lot of reasons why
he didn't duplicate that success, you know, in the NFL.
But I think that the biggest thing is just the
level of competition that he would face. And in wake Forest,
you know, it was a special year for them. They
(50:13):
wound up having three or four defensive players that were
drafted that year. None of them wound up turning out
to be great players. Whereas a Caleb Downs, the fact
that he was a dominant player in the SEC at Alabama,
goes to the Big Canada Ohio State and is also
a dominant player in the last two seasons as well. Again,
I feel much stronger in my commitment to the idea
that Calen Downs is the safest player in the class
(50:36):
of twenty twenty six. It is going to be an
NFL superstar.
Speaker 2 (50:39):
Fernando Mendez, the quarterback you mentioned from Indiana transfer from
cal probably me the first quarterback pick he could have
Heisman Trophy is still wid I mean it's wide open.
Speaker 3 (50:49):
The voting started today, goes through I think Monday.
Speaker 2 (50:52):
We have until vote to Monday to vote Fernando Mendez
that could have a Heisman moment this weekend. A win
a Rowhouse State would probably put him right there as
far as a lot of the voters across the country.
What kind of separates Mendoza from other quarterbacks around the country.
Speaker 8 (51:06):
Well, I think one of the biggest things ian is
just the size. I mean, he is legitimate, six for five,
two hundred and thirty pounds, his production. He was a
cow before and then goes to Indiana. You know, he
is kind of the you know, the hot guy right
now in terms of the quarterback prospects available, because there
was there was so much hype before the season began,
(51:27):
of course about guys like a Garrett Nessmeyer Lsu or
a Kid Klebnick at Clemson arch Manning at Texas instead
Briando Mendoza, who was on my initial first round mock
draft to start the season. So it's all he's come
out of nowhere. But he has just been the guy
who has excelled when everybody else is basically taken the
(51:47):
off ramp, so to speak, throughout this season. So his
production speaks for itself. He's been absolutely dynamic. I agree
with you if he were to have a splash performance,
even in a lost to Ohio State, if he had
splash of performance against a defense that's this talented. But
I think that he should basically just be nailing in
the Heisman Trophy winner. As the Heisman Trophy winner, it
(52:10):
remains to be seen if he's going to be the
first quarterback selected. He's a red shirt junior. Everybody expects
that he is likely going to enter the draft. He should.
At the same time, I also think that the kid
in Oregon, Dante Moore, the kid at Alabama Ty Simpson
are very much in the running as well. One of
the things that Random Mendoza has that they don't is
that he has been a multi year starter and he
(52:33):
has shown very clutch jeans when the game is on
the line, which hasn't always been the case for the
other two aforementioned quarterbacks and certainly several of the other
quarterbacks in this draft class. So this is a great
opportunity for him. But even if he has a somewhat
average kind of a performance against Ohio State, I feel
very confident, however, that Fernando Mendoza is still going to
(52:56):
wind up being a first round selection this year's draft class.
Speaker 2 (52:58):
That is a five o'clock Saturday on Fox. All right,
let's uh, We've got other Hoosiers to talk about. We'll
do that during the playoffs because they're in the playoffs.
We know that's we'll do that at that point. Number
three or Georgia, number nine, Alabama ABC, one o'clock on Saturday.
We've talked a lot about these teams this season. Let
me throw a couple names at you that we haven't
discussed because I'm curious about them. Bama wide receiver Jeremy Bernard,
who was here, as well as Parker Brailes for the center,
(53:20):
both from from Washington, followed to bore down to Tuscal loose.
So what type of players are they? As far as
the NFL Draft is concerned.
Speaker 8 (53:29):
With Bernard. I think that he's got a legitimate chance
to be a top fifty selection. He's little things I
like most about him is there's a lot of receivers
in this draft class seven, and we either have great
straight line speed or they have great size, but not
necessarily both. And it's not that Bernard necessarily has the
elite straight line seed. But he's got good size six
(53:50):
foot one, two hundred and nine pounds, so he's kind
of a thickly built guy. And he's got great agility,
I mean, just bounces off of contact well, and those
traits translate very well to the NFL. He is a
guy that can be effective as both a receiver I
personally like invest in the slot, as well as a
(54:12):
runner with the football. And so again, I just think
that he's a natural playmaker. Everybody going back to Debor
at University of Washington and Ryan Grubb there, as well
as the coaches at Alabama, including obviously both of those coaches,
and going back to his days in Michigan State as well,
has always raved about this kid's just instincts and so
(54:36):
why receiver class like this and again, has a lot
of guys that are you know, maybe are missing some
of the elements that you're looking for to be a
true dynamic playmaker. This guy just makes plays, you know,
game in and game out. So he is definitely a
player that I think has top fifty you know, stamped
on him. Even though I don't know that he necessarily
is even going to break the four or five oh mark.
(54:57):
I think that he might be in a mid four
fives the workouts. He still is as a dynamic playmaker
that I think his best attribute is just the fact
that he does make plays on the football field. Isn't
necessarily an league athlete. Punker Bracefield is an interesting one
the center for Alabama obviously at the University of Washington previously.
He's a little bit underside. Six foot two, two hundred
and ninety pounds is what Alabama lists them out. I
(55:19):
wouldn't be surprised if he actually comes in a little
bit smaller than that, but he's got the quickness that's
going to be really intriguing for teams that run the
wide zone. I don't think that the Seattle necessarily is
going to be that interesting because they've got two good
young centers already in Jalensen, Dow and of course the
starter right now, Olaw with Timmy, both of them are
have at least one more year on their respective deals.
(55:41):
But at the same time, his quickness is his game,
his instincts, his quickness. He's not a big, powerful guy,
but he certainly can get the job done. And he's
somebody that I also expect he's going to wind up
being an NFL starter down the road.
Speaker 2 (55:53):
The overall, I mean, that just should be a heck
of a game. I know a lot of people are
hoping that Alabama gets blown out. Those people are from
Notre Dame and Miami respectively, maybe even BYU. But I
have a feeling it's gonna be a good game. We'll
talk about Ty Simpson we get to the playoffs as well,
the quarterback for Alabama. Because I want to jump down
Rob rang joining us Christiafarelis Frelispizza dot com. Let's jump
down to number the first game of the day, nine AM, Saturday,
(56:14):
Number eleven b YU, number four Texas Tech. A lot
of younger guys in this game. Does this guy want
to talk about though? Jacob Rodriguez is the linebacker for
Texas Tech. They're pumping his tires up. Is Texas Tech
trying to get him some Heisman consideration as a linebacker.
He's had a couple of plays this year even on offense.
What do you see on tape with Jacob Rodriguez.
Speaker 8 (56:35):
Well, it's funny because the first time I watched him,
I wasn't you know, I wasn't buying all the hype.
I mean, but my goodness, the numbers just speak for themselves.
Speaker 4 (56:44):
Ian.
Speaker 8 (56:45):
I mean, one hundred and four tackles so far this season.
That's you know, that's good, solid numbers. It's the ten
tackles for loss, it's the four interceptions, and this is
the crazy one. Seven forced fumbles this season, I mean
seven fourthsuble this season is you know, bonkers numbers. And
then you look at it over his career and as
you mentioned, this is the former quarterback. Over his career,
(57:07):
he's got thirteen force fumbles. So this is not some
fluky season for him. And the more tape you watch
on this guy, the more you like him. He is
just incredibly instinctive player. Is this very little wasted motion
with him. He just it's almost like I used the
reference like Jedi like instincts. I mean this I can
picture this young man closing his eyes and just knowing
(57:30):
where to run the football. You know, you know me.
I often like to use references to the Seahawks just
so our our audience and thank you very much for
everybody who's listening, by the way, so our audience can
have pictured these players. To me, he reminds me so
much of Drake Thomas and now he's a little bit undersized,
but the guy just plays bigger than he looks and
(57:51):
again explodes through ball carriers. I mean he knocks them
to the ground and again has a ability to remove
the football from the player. He not only with his
explosive hits, but he also just times his punch. We
all know that Charles Tillman is still called punch. It's
something that Charles Tilman made famous. To see this young
man at full bore speed, I mean he is galloping
(58:14):
towards ball carriers and he is just timing the punch
to knock the ball out. That was one of my
initial concerns is I saw some miss tackles on tape,
But at the same time, a lot of those mistackles
are because he's going for the football, and when you
produce as many turnovers as he does, again, full interceptions
this season, seven force fumbles this season. I think that
he does deserve to be one of the finals for
(58:35):
the highest mean, I can't imagine he's actually gonna win it,
but we're coming on the heels. And when Travis Hunter
of course won it this past year, and he didn't
produce nearly as many big plays on the defensive side
of the ball as what this young man has done,
Texas Tech has a bunch of defensive players are going
to wind up being drafted this year. Take up Brian
Reguez is probably not the top fifty selection, but I
(58:56):
think that somebody is going to get him in the
latter stage of the day too, and I do believe
they he's gonna wind up being an NFL starter.
Speaker 2 (59:02):
That's the Big twelve title game again, nine am on Saturday,
five o'clock on Saturday, Duke versus Virginia ACC. This rob,
I don't even know there is there is there a
high end NFL talent in the game that everyone thinks
is just a weird one because the best two teams
from the ACC aren't even in it.
Speaker 8 (59:23):
That's a good point. Uh, you know, I guess that
my my favorite players is for Ducasse. They've got a
right tackle I think is intriguing. Brian Parker number fifty three,
six five, three hundred and five pounder. You know, he's
he's got light seat for three hundred pounder. At the
same time, like we've we've heard John Schneider kind of
bemoan the fact that a lot of college offensive linemen
(59:47):
aren't very prepared for the NFL, and large part because
they they're often had a two point stance. That's the
same case here with Brian Parker, and there's gonna be
some transition as he gets to the NFL. I don't
know that he has the power and certainly again have
the two point stands the technique that you necessarily are
looking forward to be the first or second round pick
(01:00:08):
that some in the media are projecting him as. But
that said, I do think that he has starting potential
in the NFL. But more for me, you know, in
that sixty four the bomb in the second round to
you know, top one hundred selection, maybe more of that
third round selection for Virginia. I'm intrigued by a couple
of defensive players. They got a free safety, Devin Neil
number twenty seven. Now he has bounced around college football
(01:00:32):
a lot. He was a Baylor, he's been Louisville this
sixth season. But I am you know, I really like
it when when guys are able to turn pass breakups
into interceptions. And of his thirteen career path breakup, six
of them are interceptions. So he's got good hands and
good instincts for the position that Mitchell Melton. We talked
(01:00:52):
about Ohio State before. Gosh about all the prospects they have.
This is an Ohio State transfer who has exploded for
Virginia this year. Ten tackles for lost, five sacks, three
four stumbles this year. To me, those are the top
prospects in this game. I don't know that any of
the three of them are gonna wind up being first
or second round selections, but I do think that they
(01:01:13):
have some quality mid round prospects that make it worth
your while to watch the game.
Speaker 3 (01:01:17):
Great stuff, my friend, Well, I think yeah, In fact not,
I think.
Speaker 2 (01:01:22):
I know. I give you next week off because it's
our Jess and Greg Bell are doing the show from
Army Navy. I do believe next Friday, So then you
and I will reconvene when it makes sense. Right, we're

South Sound area. In the meantime, Rob, thank you so much.
Good luck to Mount to Home tonight. Yes I'm an
ODA guy, but they've won a few titles. This would
be a pretty cool story, So go get them. Have
fun at the game tonight at Husky State. And my friend,
thank you very much.
Speaker 8 (01:01:56):
Appreciate you. Go tell your birds you so.
Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
There you go, Rob, brought to you by for Rellies Pizza,

for the Kraken. Our boy can't even get into work today,
that's how distraught he is.
Speaker 6 (01:03:07):
We just let him rest after back to back losses
to the Boilers.
Speaker 2 (01:03:10):
Yes, yes, let's see what else we got here we go.
I'm let me read this real quick. Same with hockey
percent as a fan who didn't watch hockey before the cracking,
is an unfair to criticize bevinears and Right feels like
top three draft pick should have had a lot more
impact than they both have. Right wasn't top three, but
Veneers is number two. Yeah, listen, I go back and
forth on this all the time. I think Shane's Shane's
(01:03:31):
twenty one years old. Please keep that in mind, Maddie
number two overall pick. I think if you were expecting
him to be a forty or fifty goal scorer, that's
not who he is.
Speaker 3 (01:03:40):
As a player.
Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
Also, if you look at the players picked after him,
it was not a miss like he's a really good player.
Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
He's just not.
Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
I think we're listen you guys, as a hockey I
love the hockey questions.
Speaker 3 (01:03:55):
I really do.
Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
And I'm gonna tell you and I'm trying not to
be mister mister company guy. I want to see a
forty or fifty goal scorer on this team as bad
as you do, maybe even more. Okay, I really do.
They're hard to find. Guys are re signing. You have
to have somebody want to come here. There's a lot
of things that go into play and draft pick wise,
(01:04:20):
they've missed one first round pick. I can I think
is say it's safe to say.
Speaker 3 (01:04:23):
I'll be honest.
Speaker 7 (01:04:24):
I think that's fair.
Speaker 2 (01:04:25):
You know, Shelai's not not what they want it to be.
But even in that draft, I'm kind of looking down.
It's like it's crapshoot man. Draft is seventeen eighteen year
old kids. Berkeley's gonna be really good, Jacob Brian the
draft last years be really good. Yeah, I'd like to.
But as far as those two guys, Shane needs to
be better. Shane needs to score more. Maddy's been good,
(01:04:46):
Matty's given a lot more responsibility defensively, so, but yeah,
I don't think it's unfair to criticize them. I would
just say the criticism needs to be kind of focused
in Maddy's a good hockey player, Shane's a kid. We'll say,
all right, what else?
Speaker 6 (01:04:59):
All right, but now this one, please take it with
a grain of salt.
Speaker 7 (01:05:03):
But hey, Ian, no dis respect to you or Piper.
You guys do a great job.
Speaker 6 (01:05:08):
But did I hear that you two were nominated for
Sportscasters of the Year. If so, why wasn't Alison nominated? Yes,
thank you, congratulations on your nomination.
Speaker 3 (01:05:21):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Yeah, we were both. There's four finalists. Aaron Goldsmith. People
might have heard of him, and if he doesn't, Urners
Goldie was one.
Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
Nico.
Speaker 7 (01:05:32):
We heard a lot of him this year.
Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
Nico at Como who I'm not sure if Enay works
harder on TV. He's a one man, one man, one
man television news department.
Speaker 3 (01:05:41):
Does a great job. Nico does a really good job.
Speaker 7 (01:05:42):
Literally everything I go to I see him.
Speaker 3 (01:05:45):
Yeah, he works really hard. Piper works.
Speaker 2 (01:05:48):
I can tell you this, what you see with Piper
just doing stuff in the rink and reports and in game.
That's like one third of what she does. She works,
she puts all those stories together. Feature she is great
at what she is. Absolutely she is the queen. Then
she'll be hosting on Monday when I'm doing play by play.
She's able to do that as well. She's very very good,
very much so, and does a great job with everything.
(01:06:10):
And I'm thrilled and I hope Frankly, I kind of
hope she wins it. She's my teammate and then and
Alison was not. But I think Allison would fall into
the category of more of an analyst as opposed to
Does that make sense?
Speaker 6 (01:06:22):
Yes, yeah, when you're the broadcaster, you are broadcasting the game,
it's it's like me, like, I'm a.
Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
Reporter, but your reporter, you would be you would fall
you would you would fall into that category is a broadcast.
I think Alison's more of a she's an analyst. She's
a game analyst. Yeah, like she's like a color commentator.
She's you know, she's Cam Cleve and Alex Brink and J. T.
Speaker 3 (01:06:42):
Brown? What have you see? What you're saying, I'm saying, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
Yeah, see, more like the Yeah, so that's I think
that's why if you're saying why was she not? That
would be it. Allison's I Every day I get to
work with her, I'm I'm happy, I'm lucky.
Speaker 7 (01:06:55):
And I'm She's phenomenal.
Speaker 3 (01:06:57):
It's so good.
Speaker 2 (01:06:59):
I'm very biased, but working with her, working with Piper,
John JT Edzo, it's just an incredible crew and I
couldn't be happy to be part of it. But I
think that's why Allison wasn't nominated, or there's only X
number of people that can get nominated. There's four finalists,
and in a way you go, so, yeah, but thank you.
That's hopefully that answers that the answer to that, I
(01:07:20):
think it does.
Speaker 6 (01:07:20):
Yeah, you put it more in perspective for me, because
I would consider myself like not even a broadcaster. Yeah,
and so I would never broadcaster.
Speaker 2 (01:07:29):
These days, it is pretty wide, pretty broadly encompassing, right.
Speaker 7 (01:07:33):
Fet In game analyst is a little different.
Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
Yeah, she's our analyst.
Speaker 2 (01:07:36):
She's she breaks down the tape and tells us about
the play before the play, before the play before so
and does it better than anybody in the leak.
Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
Okay, let's go, where's that to go? Glad you're with us.
Speaker 1 (01:07:45):

and Hotel. By the way, somebody the two O six
texted in thanks a lot to Lucky Egle Casino and
Sports Tradio KGF for my one thousand dollars prize.
Speaker 7 (01:08:13):
At right, thanks for listening.
Speaker 3 (01:08:15):
Yeah, I mean drink. Let's go, huh, let's do it
all right, here we go.
Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
This is it bittersweet day, Final one Factor Fiction. The
final Factor Fiction pick for me and our show is
coming up right now. This is it's a little bit
of a bigger spread, which I don't love, but I
do love a couple things about it. I'm going with
(01:08:40):
the Rams minus eight and a half fact four nine,
four to five to one over.
Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
The Arizona Cardinals. Okay, now, and where is the game?
Speaker 4 (01:08:52):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:08:54):
It is in Arizona. Don't even care about that. Arizona's
injury report came out a moment ago. Twelve guys on
their roster listed is out.
Speaker 7 (01:09:04):
Yeah, it was not.
Speaker 2 (01:09:06):
Kyler's out for the year. I yeah, I know, Brissett's fine,
what have you. But yeah, I don't. I just this
is this to me is an absolute slam dunk, no brainer.
Here we go eight and a half means they gotta
win by nine. It's a big spread Rams. If they
had not lost last week, I might be a little
(01:09:27):
hesitant on this, thinking that they're gonna take this game easy.
They ain't gonna take this game easy. This is not
This is a must must win for the Rams.
Speaker 3 (01:09:36):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:09:36):
Listen, sometimes I root to be wrong. There's part of
me that's not really rooting to be wrong here. But
I am liking it because if if, if the Cardinals
upset them, Now obviously they could cover too. But if
they upset them, then that's great for the Seahawks. But
I don't think that's gonna happen. You come off a loss.
Arizona's got I mean, it is brutal. Who's out for them?
(01:09:57):
They're tapped out. Game's over and listen. As far as
words at, Arizona is a neutral site game especially when
you're playing la they're both playing neutral site games all year.
Doesn't matter about that. So yeah, that's so if you
agree with it. Fact four nine four to five one
disagree fiction four nine four to five one. Text in
right now, fact or fiction, fact or fiction courtesy The
Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel where every Day Feels Lucky.
(01:10:23):
This is it thousand dollars weekly prize on the line.
If you've not texted in yet during this contest, you're
not gonna win the ten thousand dollars. That's the grand prize.
At the end, someone's gonna win that big weekend for
everybody coming up twenty picks this week, and it's going
to decide it. But if you're just in the hunt,
just messing around, you can win one thousand dollars. All
you have to do is text fact or fiction one
(01:10:43):
time during our twenty opportunities during the week. If you're
correct with agreeing or disagreeing with host or producer, you're
automatically enter to win a one thousand dollars weekly.
Speaker 7 (01:10:53):
Prize and only one more chance.
Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
So text right now whatever you think fact or fiction
for nine four five one. Spelling matters, Spelling does matter right.
Speaker 7 (01:11:03):
Just enjoy the parts.
Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
But that part is.
Speaker 7 (01:11:06):
It's just because it makes me laugh.
Speaker 2 (01:11:08):
Yeah, when you text in fart, it's always funny, first
of all, so we don't mind that.
Speaker 3 (01:11:12):
That's that's I get a giggle and listen.
Speaker 2 (01:11:14):
I'm I'm as sophomoric and stupid as they come. So
it's it's fine. You can you can do that. By
the way, the bolence back is working confirmed, so you're
all good to go. If you don't get a bounce back,
that means you misspelled it fact or fiction.
Speaker 7 (01:11:28):
Or you texted into early, texted in.
Speaker 3 (01:11:30):
Too early, so text in right now. Factor fiction once again.
Speaker 2 (01:11:32):
Final pick for our show this year, Rams minus eight
and a half against the Cardinals Fact four nine four
five one. If you disagree, Fiction four nine four five
one balmmer. I liked Factor fiction.
Speaker 7 (01:11:45):
It's always fun. I like the competitive spirit it makes
between the shows too.
Speaker 2 (01:11:48):
Oh and it's close, baby, we've already we're already want
to know.
Speaker 3 (01:11:51):
This week did we take Class Nights game? I don't
think they did. Don't believe, don't see no.
Speaker 7 (01:11:59):
I'm not seeing it.
Speaker 6 (01:12:00):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:12:00):
So we're the only team right now with a one
to zero with one win this week. We're making our move,
finishing strong. All right, we'll check in with Dick Fane
coming up next, the voice of the four A state
(01:12:23):
high school football champion champions along with the Seattle Storm.
Speaker 3 (01:12:28):
Richard L. Fane is here. We've got game.
Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
We got three a game tonight o day taking on
Mount to Homa. Kind of the Cinderella story of the
state high school football playoffs. We heard Rob rang talking
about that earlier in the two o'clock hour. That's at
seven o'clock tonight, right, seven o'clocks.
Speaker 3 (01:12:43):
Michael Benton, Mike Benton, the captain.
Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
Oh yeah, he's already already seen, he's already done the
obligatory tweeting and sending the picture of his board out,
his play by playboard out there with all the rosters.
So yeah, so Mike's got that game. It's over on
nine to fifty on the AM dial, also on the iHeart. Honestly,
if I'm being honest with you, guys, listen, listen on
the app.
Speaker 10 (01:13:04):
That's easy, it's clean, it's perfect in your pocket. Yes,
you can go wherever you want.
Speaker 3 (01:13:07):
Boom.
Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
Yeah, So it should be a good game tonights with
those two and you got Sumner and Lake Stevens tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (01:13:14):
That'll be a great game.
Speaker 10 (01:13:15):
They played the first game of the season and it
was a three point win for Lake Stevens and they
got it on a last second twenty yard touchdown pass.
So this is a rematch here in the Chance State
champions Game.
Speaker 3 (01:13:28):
It's gonna be a lot of fun. That's fun.
Speaker 2 (01:13:31):
My kid played up Atlake Stevens in a playoff game
in twenty nineteen, and I.
Speaker 3 (01:13:37):
Mean they're loaded every year up there.
Speaker 2 (01:13:39):
And if I mean to me, Lake Stevens on a
Friday night, I know it's not there. It's an Husky
Stadium tomorrow, but Lake Stevens on a Friday night that's
about as close to Friday night lights Texas as we get.
That place was big, stadium, packed, crazy atmosphere, Like you're
just like whoa, whoa. I mean, they do high school
football right up there, Atlake Stevens. And obviously Keith and
(01:14:01):
Sunder winning last year was awesome.
Speaker 5 (01:14:02):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (01:14:02):
He's one of the good guys in high school football
in our states.
Speaker 10 (01:14:05):
So and then Tom Try Lake Stevens is just a legend.
Speaker 3 (01:14:08):
Yeah good, And I've mentioned this a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
I think it's awesome that what we on this station
do with high school sports basketball tournament in March.
Speaker 3 (01:14:17):
We'll be down. I do a show there every year.
Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
I think you and Mike he would go down and
do the play by play on the finals and stuff
like that for the boys and the girls.
Speaker 3 (01:14:23):
Which is hoping not to do the play by play
this year. You want to be in it. I'd like
to be back on the bench with the state championship game.
I think we're I don't. I think we're a little
ways away, little ways away from that. I mentioned this
the other day.
Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
When I first moved, so I've been here for nineteen years.
So I got here in two thousand and six, fall
of two thousand and six. And when I was first here,
I was doing the night show and the I would
we couldn't sell our house for like a year down
to Vancouver, so I would come up, stay with my
in laws in Lakewood or my parents up in Magnolia
during the week, and then Friday, jumping the car and
head back home to Vancouver. And one of my favorite
(01:14:59):
things was jumping in the car at ten.
Speaker 10 (01:15:00):
O'clock and listen varsity football Varsity football live.
Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
It was awesome. I mean, I know times have changed.
People can get scores everywhere now, but back then that's
the only way.
Speaker 3 (01:15:09):
But you get your high school football scores.
Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
The tour around the state that you would do, uh,
and I hosted it a couple of times. You for
the most part were the main host, but if you
couldn't be there, it was me or Poker whoever. A
ton of fun to do. We had some great characters.
That's where Ryan Divish made his media debut in Seattle
when he's working for the news tribute in high school
sports and.
Speaker 10 (01:15:30):
The guys that that we spawned, yes, Ryan Divish, Eric
Williams now covers the Chargers, you know, Todd Millis and
we'll talk to today at six on the on the
radio show. So a lot of a lot of dudes.
I think Tim Booth was on, Tim Yeah he was.
Speaker 3 (01:15:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:15:48):
So I think you kind of want to say we
had Christian Capele too. I mean we've had all yeah
on the trip around the state. Yeah, it's everywhere. I
mean that was that show was that music was great,
The show was great. You know, I think it's just awesome.
You know again, times have changed a little bit harder
to do that now and now.
Speaker 3 (01:16:05):
Back back then when we did.
Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
It was like if you were kind of a high
school football fan, and I think there's a very underrated
audience for high school sports in our state. I think,
by and large, outside of Chris Eague at Channel five,
every television station ignores high school sports now they just
ignore it, which is to me is wrong. But uh,
there's you got to put something into it. But you know,
like if you want to know what the scores were
(01:16:27):
back then, the only way to do it is listen
to the radio station because Twitter wasn't really even a
thing yet, nothing like that. So you're like, man, I'm
up here, I'm in the Metro League. How did Eastside
Catholic do? I want to know how they did? Or
how I'm over in the SPSL. How did how does
Sumner do? I'm a Puilllet fan. I want like you
know all that stuff.
Speaker 10 (01:16:43):
There are powers that be that are attempting to fix that,
and we might have some news for you as early
as tomorrow. Oh I like it all right, So stay tuned. Okay,
you know, watch my watch my Twitter account and.
Speaker 3 (01:16:54):
Okay, I we'll do that. I'll have a great call tomorrow.
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:16:56):
Kind of jellous in a sense you go. You'll have
a fun time out there. There's a lot of the
weather cooperates. You might be missing the Tacoma Dome tomorrow.
Speaker 10 (01:17:03):
Yes, that was the one thing about going to the
Tacoma Dome in December to New football is like, I
could wear a T shirt.
Speaker 3 (01:17:08):
This doesn't matter. Yeah, you sit up in that little
perch up there. The weather was always perfect.
Speaker 5 (01:17:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:17:13):
Now I'm twice as high.
Speaker 5 (01:17:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:17:15):
So Benton reminded me because I haven't done a football
game at Husky Stadium, and so Bent was like, bring
your binoculars. I was like, oh, yeah, I didn't think
about it because I didn't need the binoculars at the
Toma Dome.
Speaker 3 (01:17:27):
Yeah. Well, it'll be great.
Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
Mike Tonight, Dick tomorrow, both on nine fifty and again
you can listen on the.
Speaker 10 (01:17:32):
App as well the radio apps. Go check that out.
What are you coming up today? Hughbreed Love Millan is
gonna join us. Gonna talk a lot of Seahawks, we'll
talk some Huskies. We'll replay a little bit kind of
the highlights of the Jedfish interview that Softie and I
did this week and get Hugh's take on that. I
think it'll be interesting to get Hugh's take on on
what Jed.
Speaker 3 (01:17:48):
Had to say. Interesting is a nice choice of worse.
Speaker 10 (01:17:50):
Sure, Sean Michaels from Atlanta, who is I'm sure is
furious right now, that is beloved. Miami Hurricanes are one
spot out of the playoffs, so we're going to there
they will stay and then they will probably stay. We'll
get his take on that, and of course the Atlanta Falcons,
which I think is his secondary on his mind to
the Miami Hurricanes. But we probably need to preview the
Falcons since we're taking them on. And then, as I mentioned,
(01:18:12):
Todd Millist at six forty five tonight leading up to
the Benton's call at seven on the AM dial.
Speaker 3 (01:18:17):
Nice, who's doing color for you? Christopher Kid is doing
color for me?
Speaker 8 (01:18:24):
Six?
Speaker 3 (01:18:24):
Not bad?
Speaker 2 (01:18:25):
Well, you can't have money? Is he on the O
Day call tonight? I don't think that would be sketchy?
Speaker 7 (01:18:30):
Yes, I think he's only tomorrow.
Speaker 10 (01:18:32):
Okay, that'd be very sketchy. Yeah, we got to pull
him off the O Day.
Speaker 2 (01:18:36):
See Kid two six would be fun, have a great calls,
great weekend stick fan coming up next to ye for the.
Speaker 3 (01:18:41):
Mild mannered and marginally objectionable, the in forness. This is
paddle day saying so long everyone,
