070 | Katie Moodie Shares Why You Should Consider a Plan B, C, & D in Business

A graduate of UCSD with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Katie Moodie launched her entrepreneurial spirit into residential real estate soon after graduation. Fueled by the excitement of business development, she eventually realized she could combine this enthusiasm with her personal interests and passion for natural wellness. Diving into research, she began to develop natural remedies for her family, friends and colleagues and before long, her products were in demand.  Finding a very supportive community in San Diego of other cannabis advocates, she teamed up with key scientific partners to utilize 100% of the plant in order to develop KB Pure Essentials organic product line.

Have you ever heard someone say, that having a Plan B means that you’re not fully committed to Plan A?

This absolutely not true, and this week’s guest agrees!

This week’s guest, Katie Moodie, had to learn the hard way, that not having a Plan B for your business can actually cause damaging problems.

Katie and her partner produce CBD oil, which makes it difficult to get banks and merchant processor to do business with them (since local and federal government don’t support the CBD or Cannabis space yet).

Through the struggle, Katie never once gave up, even when one of her merchant processors was doing shady business and ended up keeping $20K of Katie’s revenue. She just kept on going, trying different approaches.

However, the one thing Katie wishes she had done was create a Plan B before it was too late.

If you’re wondering whether having a Plan B is necessary for you and your business, then this episode of Success Unfiltered is a MUST LISTEN!

Enjoy, and thank you for listening and tuning into Success Unfiltered!
