On Monday's podcast, I opened the show reacting to all of Week 8 in the NFL, including the New England Patriots' win over the Los Angeles Chargers, entering the bye week. Speaking of the Patriots, I discussed some of the latest NFL trade rumors that include names like Calvin Johnson, T.Y. Hilton, and Larry Fitzgerald. I explained why I think Fitzgerald to New England makes too much sense for all parties involved. I also took a look at the current playoff picture in the NFL. And I closed out the show with some thoughts on the World Series, as the Astros lead it 3-games-to-2, heading back to Los Angeles.
