Erik Seversen is a writer, speaker, adventurer, educator, and entrepreneur who refuses to let others tell him what he can or cannot do.
This way of thinking stems back to when he was rejected from his dream school UCLA, and turned that setback into a challenge. He excelled in community college and got into UCLA two years later, where he graduated near the top of his class. And that's just the very tip of the spear with Erik.
If you take a look at his resume of life experiences, you'd hardly believe that one person could accomplish everything that he's done. To list a few of these experiences, Erik has:
- traveled to over 80 countries
- been to 49 of the 50 states
- ridden a motorcycle on 6 continents and crossed the USA on one twice
- had a machine gun stuck in his mouth in Nigeria
- summited the tallest mountains of 8 countries and 5 states
- lived with a remote Indian tribe deep in the Amazon
- helped a company grow from $7M to over $100,000,000 in ten years as VP of International Business Development
- written a book, ORDINARY TO EXTRAORDINARY: An Average Person’s Adventurous Search For Meaning, which comes out in March 2018
Erik's journey personifies the idea of living life with intention.
He uses entrepreneurial success formulas and motivational materials in business, but he’s also pioneering their use in the field of education.
