This St. Louis nightclub singer-turned "Queen of Rock" toured the world, playing alongside top-billed performers such as Mick Jagger and Bryan Adams. Turner won 8 Grammy's, was nominated for 25, and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1991.
