In this episode Kevin and Rob talk about making the transition from flying single engine airplanes and moving forward with the transition to multi-engine airplanes. Rob shares his experiences with students and some of his own personal stories from his days flying piston twins while flying for a few charter outlets before moving to his current roll as a CRJ 900 pilot. Rob takes the roll as the MEI in this episode and brings us understanding on different areas as we talk about important items that you will face while flying twins. We also talk about what to expect on your check ride and Rob shares a good story and learning experience from one of his part 135 rides.
This is a great episode for those who are currently working on their multi-engine or are thinking of starting the rating. This would also be a good listen for those who have their multi and just want to listen to two cool guys talking about multi-engine flying.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage
Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
