Actor and stand-up comedian T. Murph joins us on the podcast this week to talk about season two of Woke, which recently released its second season on Hulu. Woke follows a cartoonist Keef Knight (Lamorne Morris) who is on the brink of mainstream success when a traumatic incident with police changes his perspective on the world.
T. Murph chats with us about the changes that season two underwent from it’s pre-pandemic first season, including a production move from Vancouver to Atlanta, how his fellow stand-up comedians were the best representation he felt growing up, and why the series will never run out of social issues to tackle with a light-hearted, yet effective, touch.
Seasons 1 and 2 of Woke are now available to stream on Hulu.
