(00:10):
Welcome to the Sea Hawkers Podcast, live from Renton, Washington.
We lost Wilson as we were getting goinghere- No… but we will get him back.
We are live from Renton as we get readyto celebrate our Seahawks this Wednesday
as they take on the New England Patriots.
And, Clinton and I situncomfortably close as we bring you
our Blue Friday bets, and we have ourspecial guest, Wilson Conn, with us.

(00:32):
Clinton, I am fired up for tonight.
I am as well.
Hey, what's up?
So yeah, kinda weird for this wholething to be starting on a Wednesday.
Kinda weird that we start ourshow and Wilson gets kicked
out, but he's right back.
There he is.
And if you haven't seen Wilsonin a while, yeah, he went bald.
It's okay, ladies.
We know- I think it'svoluntary bald, though.
Yeah.
No, it-… nearly.
Yeah.
But he's looking betterthan ever, but he's back.

(00:52):
He's with us.
It's gonna be a lot of fun.
And we have some…
We're gonna do our, our best props, our best, what do they call them?
Parlays.
Parlays.
That's one thing, isn't it?
That's right.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And our picks because we are Super Bowlchampions, and we're taking on a team
that we absolutely decimated last year.
Wilson, it's a little bit differentthan last year, but how much

(01:13):
different is it actually going to be?
We'll find out with your bets, but what'syour feeling going into defending, running
this forward, as Mike likes to say?
Boy, I have to say, I mean- Startingthe next season with a team whose
ass you absolutely kicked inthe Super Bowl is- Belt to ass.
Belt to ass… I mean, wehave to say what it was.
I mean, 29 to 13, it might not lookthat bad, but we all watched the game.

(01:37):
And, I think if I was the Patriots,I would be shaking in my boots
coming into this game, just, justafraid of, having to live that
humiliation ritual all over again.
Yeah.
and it sounds like, you know,Mc- McDaniels and, oh, no
no, Josh and, Rabes… Rabesand- And Diana… and Diana.

(01:58):
Well, they just- Yeah.
… they seem a little, they just seema little, like, you know, like, a
little, resigned that they'renot gonna win this football game.
I, I don't know.
we're missing some safeties.
We'll talk about it all.
But we're gonna examineit through our bets.
This guy right next to me,Wilson, he won last year.
Surely did.
Yeah.
Yeah… props are props.
But before we get, before there's one moreiota of a prop given to this guy, let's

(02:20):
give props to our executive live producer,Ryan 911-… with the 999 Super Chat.
Adam, you read it.
Okay.
It says, "Y'all broughtin the Princetonian."
"Might actually make some money this week.
Go Hawks."
And, look, I may have wonthis last year, but, it feels
like an empty victory because wedidn't have Wilson all year, who

(02:40):
you know, he, he is our money maker.
He makes it rain for everybody.
So, I'm excited toget into this, boys.
Should we get to our first downbets- I think we gotta… or do we
wanna explain our, our betting, philosophies here and how we make it work?
I'll, I'll explain it real quickfor those that might be new to it.
So we call it Blue Friday bets.
It's real simple.
We do four downs, 'cause there'sfour downs in football, people.
Down one, down two, down three.

(03:02):
It's a $10 bet.
Take anything you want on theboard at the odds that, you know
DraftKings or whatever gives you.
But then the fourth bet,we call it the Fail Mary.
It must be plus 1200 or longerodds to qualify, which means if
you bet 10 bucks, you're winningwhat, 120 on that particular bet?
If you say so.
Yeah.
That's- Yeah… that's plus 1200.

(03:22):
So, or does not qualify,so you gotta go there.
And watch out for the Wilson 300.
It's not a rule, but itis a way of life, Wilson.
Isn't that correct?
It is a way of life, and I mighteven have something a little
spicier cooked up for y'all today.
Ooh, careful.
Careful.
Here we go.
All right.
Yeah.
Well, it is honor system.
You won, you go first.
Bet one, down one, first bet ofthe year as we run it forward.

(03:46):
Adam, what do you got?
All right.
Well, I'm running it forward bylooking back just a little bit, boys.
So, Wilson, you brought it upat the top of the podcast here
talking about the idea of the beltass spanking that we put on- BTA
these poor, sorryNew England Patriots.
And the thing is, is that I'm not surethe Patriots got better, despite the A.J.
Brown and Doubs addition.

(04:08):
they lost a lot on defense aswell, and I don't see this as being
really a very different story whenwe watch our team tomorrow night.
And so I'm going with the Seahawksminus seven and a half- Ooh
giving seven and a half, and thatgets me plus 168 odds, I believe
because it cut it off the screen, which is really cool for me.
and it's still not giving itto me, but we're gonna call it

(04:30):
plus 168- Yes, sir… because, that's what I remember it being.
165, there it is.
and I feel pretty good about this, because I feel like this dominant
team that has been overlooked alloff-season is gonna take it out
on these sad sacks from Boston.
I mean, look, on our What If previewshow, I predicted a win of double digits.
So, and I don't think it's a cakewalk.

(04:51):
I think the Patriots are better, butI love getting the Patriots week one.
They overhauled their offense, and aweek one offense coming into Seattle
I could see us winning by that many.
That's a…
Wilson, pretty spicy outof the gate from this guy.
Do we win this game by more thanseven and a half points, you think?
I think so.
I, I like where both ofyou guys' heads is at.

(05:13):
I'm just thinking Lumen that loudwith the banner coming down before
the game- Yeah… I just don't thinkDrake Maye is built for that kind of
environment and that kind of game.
And, I think theSeahawks should handle it.
I like it.
I like it, Wilson.
All right, you know what?
You're up, buddy.
Take it away.
You did join us throughoutthe entire playoff stretch.
You know, the, the Seahawks were theonly NFL team to have zero turnovers

(05:37):
through the entire playoffs ontheir way to a Super Bowl victory.
You were with us for everysingle one of those games.
So you go second.
Where are you taking us,Wilson, and why is it gonna win?
Well, I try not to take, toomuch credit for Sam Darnold all
of a sudden-… for gettingout from throwing interceptions.
But, I'm going in aninteresting direction here.
We're talking about the themes ofoffensive changes for the Patriots.

(05:59):
The big one for the Seahawks, obviously,is the departure of Super Bowl MVP Kenneth
Walker, and there are some question marksa little bit about what the share is gonna
look like in the backfield, especiallyto start the season with Jadarian Price.
Being a rookie, obviously there's beena lot of talk about how he, he didn't
have very many touches in collegeand that, you know, we still want him

(06:20):
to be a focal point of the offense.
He flashed in camp a lot, but thathe might not be, you know, a 25, 20
carry back right out of the gate.
Mm-hmm.
So I actually went in a differentdirection than Jadarian Price here.
I'm taking George Holani with over20 rushing yards at minus 111.
That's interesting.
It's gonna be an interest- it'sgonna be an interesting, Sort of

(06:40):
recipe to see what the Seahawks puttogether with the run game on offense.
we're just not usedto Holani in the RB2 role.
Obviously, with Charbonnet out for theforeseeable future, he'll be in that spot.
and I honestly liked what we saw outof him last year when he did get touches.
He s- he showed a few flashes.
So I think 20 yards is asomewhat low bar at minus 111
that I feel okay about taking.
Look, th- they're gonna spread theball around at least a little bit.

(07:03):
so I like your explanation.
We also don't know if EmmanuelWilson really is gonna factor in
or even play, so we just don'tknow if that's happening yet.
We'll find that out tomorrow morning.
Holani's gonna get some touches.
It's…
They're already saying, like, a probablya 60/40 type split in the Charbonnet area.
So if he carries the ball six, seven, eight times, compiling

(07:25):
20 yards seems fairly logical.
totally in range, and I likethe odds there at just minus 111.
I mean, f- fairly close to even odds.
Yeah.
And so not only do I see them splittingthe carries, like that 60/40 kinda split
that you talked about there, Clinton, but really on third down, I think
you're gonna see a lot more Holani.
Now ordinarily, that would mean, like, a,a passing situation, in a lot of ways.

(07:48):
But- Doesn't have to… itcould also be, like, a, a third
and medium, third and short.
Could also be you have one bad seriesand you have a give-up draw play or two.
Third and 17 where he gets 18 yards?
Y- yeah.
Yeah.
And you, you end up at 20 yards ina, in a hurry, so I think that's
a, a great bet out of the gate.
A f- nice safe first down bet.
Well, he's smart, folks.
He comes in with the hot stuff.
I'm gonna go with some, maybe some more dumb stuff

(08:10):
here, but I like this guy today.
I…
Tomorrow.
I like Cooper Kupp tomorrow, and thereason being is we don't know what's
happening with Tory Horton just yet.
Again, we gotta waitand see, like, is he in?
We know we got Shaheed.
We know about JSN, of course.
We know about Barnard.
We know about Arroyo.
All those things being said, thePatriots secondary depth is okay.

(08:31):
The linebackers, you know, they just got Gonzo back.
You know, he wasn't out,but he signs a big contract.
Carlton Davis, he, he's fine, but, like, there's not that much depth
there and the, the linebackers are…
I don't think…
Spillane's good.
I think there's not that muchthere beyond that for the Patriots.
So a player like Kupp who couldfind zones, sit down in zones

(08:51):
this one for me is easy squeazy.
I got him get a f- three plusreceptions, so three measly receptions
at minus 132 to get out of the gate.
I think Kupp is gonna get four to fivereceptions this game, carry on the
kinda the nice end to his season that hehad, and just cash this easy one early.
Wilson, do you see Kupp getting atleast three receptions tomorrow?

(09:15):
You know what?
I don't know, you guys were probablywatching Hard Knocks, but, but with
that, barely tank top that he wasbearing, wearing, he better be putting
up those kinds of numbers walking around-Yes… the facility with that on.
But listen, he was, he was the leadreceiver in the Super Bowl, six for 61.
He's a dependable guy.
I, I like three plus the number.
I would maybe like to be a littlecloser to even odds, but I think

(09:38):
it's, it's a safe shot, out of the, out of the gates for you.
Thank you.
I thought about teasing it to four plus, but I was like, you know, eh, don't
gotta be greedy with the first bet.
Drive it out there likewe did at Topgolf today.
Yeah.
Get it on the green, which is nice.
Yeah.
I, you know, I don't think it's a terriblebet, and I could see if the Seahawks are
trying to work deep down field, I imaginethat the Patriots are gonna play a lot of

(09:59):
two high stuff throughout the game, whichmeans you're gonna get to some of the
underneath stuff, which means you're gonnaget to Kupp, which means you could get
to that three receptions pretty quickly.
as, before we move on to betnumber two here, I kinda wanted to
look at Papa Ted's, parlay here.
Uh-huh.
that, this is, this is extraspicy, and I, I, I'm here for it.
Careful, careful.
He's got a, a four-leg parlay with theHawks plus three and a half points

(10:22):
Price in anytime TD, Sam with two passingtouchdowns, and JSN with 80 plus yards
and that's for a monster plus 840.
Papa Ted, that's a lot of fun.
Papa Ted, if that happens,we're having a good day.
That's a spicy day right there, Papa Ted.
I hope that, I hope that comes true.
A lot's gotta go right, but that'swhy you're getting plus 840.
I dig it.
Wilson, you're up on second down, bud.

(10:42):
Take it away.
Well, you guys, being back on herewith you for Blue Friday Bets, formerly
known as PNW Prop Stars, I decided toharken back to our very first episode.
If you guys remember, thiswas the first game of the Geno
Smith era, Seahawks v Broncos.
What a memorable game.
Didn't write back.
That was the best.
All that good stuff.

(11:02):
And in that game I actually hit afail Mary, and my, very first fail
Mary in the history of the show wasa Colby Parkinson anytime touchdown.
That's right.
Yes.
So I- I'm going back, I'm going back tothe well with a lot of tight end bets the
rest of the way here, and I'll start withthe only offensive touchdown score for
the Seahawks in the Super Bowl, AJ Barner.

(11:24):
AJ, let's go.
We've been hearing all kinds ofchatter about him all off-season.
This is the year thathe really breaks out.
the emphasis on tight ends inthe, in the new Seahawks offense.
So I like Barner 25 plusreceiving yards at minus 112.
Again, kinda similar to the Holani bet.
Basically even, a nice low number to,to root for over the course of the game.

(11:44):
Oh, I, I, I'm gonna jump inand just say I love that bet.
Minus 112 is fine.
That's pretty close to even.
And with a dude like Barner, that couldbe a, that could be a single reception.
He gets down a seam route, you know, rumbles, stumbles a little bit, or we're
talking two catches and he's cashing.
Wilson, you're smart for a reason, dude.
I, I dig that one.
Yeah, I think the logic, kinda lookingat Fleury's background and knowing that

(12:07):
he comes from the tight end room, andknowing that the primary fullback in
Utes is hurt and out for the year- Yeah
it makes more sense to me that they'regonna try to work that tight end group
and work them in a little bit morein kind of response to the idea that
there's no Utes to lean on there andget into, like, 22 or 21 personnel.
So, I, I really like that.

(12:28):
I think it's, totally attainable.
the, you know, I mean, getconservative on the odds, Wilson.
Like, way to play it safe.
… you know, just knock it down the middle.
Just you wait.
Win the week.
Just you wait.
I love it.
Look, I don't really dig theFleury is a tight ends coach
therefore tight ends will flourish.
I just don't think the logic's there,'cause he, he's coached everything.

(12:49):
And he happ- Of course
he happened to be tight ends coach last.
I just like the bet because I thinkAJ Barner will exploit what are okay
tight ends, I mean, okay linebackers.
Okay.
Yeah.
The whole, the whole D.
They're okay.
They're thin there, too.
I mean- Yeah… past their, their firsttwo linebackers- Spin it… there's
not much there after Splain, and, I can't remember the, the second
linebacker on the inside there.
Well, we got a lot here.

(13:09):
Was it Tim T- Tim Boski?
Tim Boski, man.
Tim Boski.
999 super chat.
Tank top out of the 1980s.
I love that.
I, I love it.
And that's a great description of,Cooper Kupp's look on Hard Knocked.
Look, so- Appreciatethat… for my second down bet
here, Clinton- Oh, you're gonna go.
You're gonna just l- you're not gonna go before me?
Well, don't I still not havehonors for winning last year-
No, no… kicking your ass?
No, it, it rotates Oh, no, go ahead.

(13:31):
No, after you.
It rotates.
It rotates.
Okay.
Yeah.
Cool, cool, cool.
All right.
Cool, cool, cool.
So look, I, I, I'm in…
I'm kind of loving our new running back, where I love the Holani pick, but I also
do trust one Brady Henderson when he talksabout, Jadarian Price getting lots
of, lots of looks, lots of touches Ooh.
I hope everybody's…
Everybody…
Are you with us?

(13:51):
Yeah.
Wilson, can you hear us?
Can you hear me?
Sure can.
Okay, good.
Good.
Good news.
Sorry, that was just the, George Holani truthers
cutting in to- I know, right?
We're gonna see max headroompretty soon if you know that.
Oh, here we go.
Hold on.
There it is.
Okay.
Hey, all right.
We're back.
We're sure back.
I don't know what happened there.
Brandan's laptop.
Yeah, this, this is gonna be thebest- Yeah… the best bet ever.
So look, I like Holani, and Ilike Holani to compile a day here.

(14:14):
Plus 130 parlay, 14 rushingattempts, so not nothing.
But, you know, 14 times theguy's gonna touch the ball.
50-plus yards on the ground or more.
Vegas says he's gonna get over 50yards, and Vegas says he's gonna
run the ball more than 14 times.
So I'm taking two things thatVegas says are likely to happen

(14:34):
smashing them together at plus 130.
They spent a first-round pick on thisguy, and I think there's a reason he was
wrapped in a bubble the entire pre-season,'cause they know what they got.
Yeah, and I think if you're gonnatake a risk of wearing out the rookie
early, you do that because you knowthat Charbonnet is gonna come back
early-ish in the season, right?
So you can afford to getJadarian Price out there and

(14:56):
run him a little bit more often.
Also, if you're, Brian Fleury, Ithink you're gonna want to show that you
really do want to establish a run game.
That was something that Kubiak did greatlast year in terms of throughout the
course of the early part of the season, even if the running game wasn't uber
effective, they were able to actually getout there and just hand the ball off and

(15:17):
keep the chains moving at the very least, and even if it wasn't the most efficient.
So yeah, I think all that's in range, and at plus 130, you get into plus odds.
Solid.
Not bad, not bad.
Yeah.
So opposite end of whereyou went with Holani.
I love that bet earlier, but can wehave both, Wilson, is the question.
Can we have Holani and can wehave Price both hitting it?
We absolutely can, andI like your bet, too.

(15:38):
I think, I think it's very feasiblethat, both backs hit those numbers.
I like it.
Okay.
Now, now you go.
And- Well, I'm excited about this-… because I'm excited about this player.
This is the one player on the Seahawksteam that I think is going to get
the type of recognition for what he'sdone in the past and also for the
ascension that he is on for this year.

(16:00):
I truly believe that Byron MurphyII is going to be first team
All-Pro at the end of this year.
He's gonna be thought of as the new AaronDonald, even though the old Aaron Donald
decided to dust him off and come back.
And then not go to Australia.
That's right.
Stupid.
I'm also aware of the factthat, they took Mr.
Wilson, their left guard, who,Riley Mills, destroyed, and

(16:22):
moved him into center for this year.
And that puts him, in line toface up against What, nose tackles?
Yes.
Byron Murphy plays the nose tackle.
He also plays the three technique, and he's gonna maybe do a little
bit of that more this year.
But I got Byron Murphy with one plus sackfor plus 228 for spicy-… so that we

(16:42):
actually have somebody with some ballsmaking some bets on this podcast today.
High variance, high balls.
Wilson, is that enough to beton a sack from our interior
lineman there, Byron Murphy?
You know, I was looking at the sackbets, before we got on the show, and
that was one that really appealed to me.
I think, after what we all sawwhat Riley Mills did to that poor, poor

(17:06):
man-… in front of hundredsof millions of people, no one can
feel confident in the, interiorof the Patriots' offensive line.
So I like this bet.
If I was gonna choose one playerto get a sack, it would probably
be Byron Murphy in this game.
so I like where Adam's head's at.
Okay.
All right.
So that wraps up, down number two.
I got on down three.
I'm sticking with the sack numbers here.

(17:27):
Wilson, pop quiz for you.
Do you remember in the SuperBowl who got two sacks?
He had two sacks during the regularseason, but he had two sacks in
the Super Bowl, and he likes towear short, short, short shorts.
Short, short, shorts.
Who am I talking about?
Well, the short shorts just confirms it.
That's of course Derick Hall of, ofm- massive truck-… and incredible

(17:48):
survival We learned a lot aboutthat in Hard Knocks, so He does
he does, he does it all, right?
So, and a bit of a jokester, too.
So yours was 228, correct?
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Plus 228.
Okay.
So I got Derick Hall just torecord one sack, not two like
the Super Bowl when we…
By the way, guys, we won the Super Bowl.
It wasn't the Rams.
The Rams didn't win lastyear, and they didn't- What?
Yeah, they didn't already win this year.

(18:09):
But they already won this year.
I know.
It's crazy.
Oh.
But D- Derek- How can that be true?
They were just all confused.
They were on 16 minutes.
They won the Super Bowl, obviously.
But anyway, I got Derick Hallat plus 280 to get home once.
Pats are still, you know, it…
Yes, they got Tucker now, but hehasn't played in a, a long while.
Moses on the outside, he's about96 years old this week, I think.

(18:30):
Yeah.
So look, I like Derick Hall's motor.
I always liked Derick Hall, and,and I think he just continues
on from what he was doing.
Now, I know that game's a long timeago, Wilson, but I just like the
concept of last year, Derick Hall hada sack in the first game against the
Niners, and it got called back ona lame-ass holding downfield that

(18:52):
had nothing to do with the play.
It wasn't even a hold.
I like Hall to get outearly with that new money.
That money will talk, and he'sgonna get a sack at plus 280.
You say you like Murphy the most.
Do you have room in yourheart for a Hall sack?
I sure do.
I mean, all you gotta do is tell himBrady Russell's in the backfield, and
he'll probably get three of them, so.

(19:12):
Either that, either that or Mike Macdonald.
Yeah.
Yeah.
See, I, I, I kinda visualizeit just a little bit different.
I f- I feel like, who does DerekHall go up against, or at least
did in the Super Bowl quite a bit?
Was that Will Campbell?
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Will Campbell, with his tiny-Oh… T-Rex arms, like- Yeah
really struggled withthe long arm of the Hall.
The levers.
And, That's pretty good.
Like, yeah.
That's pretty good.

(19:32):
Thank you.
I, I worked on that forabout half a second.
So
at the end of the day, I, I reallydo, when I look through the sack
numbers, Clinton- Uh-huh I went withByron Murphy because my love for
Byron Murphy cannot be contained.
Sure.
But the Derick Hall bet, I thinkthat's a really good one if
you're going with sack numbers.
And I think Will Campbell willcontinue to struggle with the
length and strength of Mr.

(19:53):
Hall, whether he's in shortshorts or regular Seahawks pants.
All right, length, strength, that meansyou're up now on your third down bet.
Adam, go.
Oh, I'm feeling the need, boys.
I'm feeling the need for Shaheed.
Look, I've got this, my third downbet, in honor of the, Princetonian
of Parlays here joining us.
I'm going with a Wilson 300.
I've got Rashid Shaheed to bean anytime TD score, a plus 330.

(20:19):
Sam Darnold and Rasheed have been workingon their, ability to connect deep and
kind of build that chemistry that reallydidn't show up, towards the end of
the season when Shaheed joined the team.
And they're gonnaconnect for one long one.
It's gonna be a, a tutty, plus 330.
Ooh, all right, so very spicy.
That's a spicy 300 there plus Wilson.

(20:40):
Oh.
I have a take on this, butI wanna hear yours first.
You know, we can't…
You know, these are…
At plus 330, it's like, okay, maybeit happens, maybe it does not.
But- The Patriots' secondary with Davisback there, they're kinda old also a
little bit back there, their safeties too.
Can Shaheed get behind for a, a deep one?
What do you think?

(21:00):
I mean, there are few players inthe NFL that can, that can match
the kinda speed that Shaheed has.
So I think this is one of thoseones where 330, you might wanna
get a little bit more out of that.
But it's, it's an exciting330 because if he scores, that
means it's a 60 or a 70-yarder.
Ooh.
And he's just, you know, burning ahole in the secondary with his wheels.

(21:21):
Oh.
So I, I, I would think of all thebets we've talked about so far, this
might be the most satisfying onefor me if it does end up hitting.
Let me, let me level this upfor you, Wilson, and for you.
So this is how it could bethis much more exciting.
The Patriots, when they had the 53-mancutdown, they swapped out like 9 or
10 dudes, and those are the kindsof guys that play special teams.

(21:42):
So this bet for Shaheed to scorea touchdown isn't just maybe
catching a long pass- Yeah… fromSam and take it to the house.
This could be the San FranciscoRice-A-Roni treat again, boys, and he
takes one back nice and early, and Shaheedcashes and Lumen's going nuts because the
Patriots have zero depth on special teams.
'Cause if you did, you wouldn't swapnine guys when you cut down to 53.

(22:06):
You would just do what the Seahawks did, which is, like, trade a guy, one guy.
Yeah, no, it's a, it's a great point.
yeah, so I'm in.
I'll, all in f- on Shaheed here.
I see in the comments here fromMotive that, he didn't believe
Will C- Campbell was the startingleft tackle at this point.
ESPN still has him listedas the starting left tackle.
That's what my information says, but maybe, maybe the rookie is the

(22:26):
guy that they're putting out there.
I don't know.
Maybe I'm wrong on that.
No, C- Campbell's still at lefttackle is my understanding, and
then Wilson's sliding to center.
Yes.
So Wilson's going from guard tocenter, but my understanding is
Campbell is still out on the lonelyisland out there o- at left tackle.
I believe.
If we're wrong, you know,then we'll say we're wrong.
You know, when you guys keep saying thatWilson's moving to center, I, I just get a

(22:47):
little bit of a pang in my heart thinking-
boy, I really don't wanna goout there and face those guys.
No?
No, you're not looking forward to lookingup and seeing Byron Murphy and just
chosen across his neck-… knowingthat he's chosen you to put in the dirt?
Yeah.
I, I choo, choo, choose you.
All right, so wait, keeping math, mathhere, you just did your third down.
Third down bet.
We fin- that was finish third down.

(23:07):
Yep.
Yeah, we all did?
Yep, yep.
Okay, so we're on a fail Mary.
Oh, no, Wilson's got third down, yeah.
Wilson third down, perfect.
Like I said, Wilson, take it.
You guys, you know that thirddown is my go-to spot with the
plus 300, trying to skip me.
Careful.
But get ready, I have a plus 600.
We're doubling it up this week.
Ooh.
Double.
And I'm going, I'm going with a differentanytime touchdown, tight end theme.

(23:27):
Elijah Arroyo, is this, is this, isthis a Elijah Arroyo breakout game?
I hope so.
We've also heard a lot of chatterabout him all off season, a lot
of people saying, wow, he's…
Aside from maybe Montorie Foster, the passcatcher that really wowed people at camp.
I don't love anytime touchdownbets, as I think we've talked
about, to no end on this show.
They can often be very random and frugal.

(23:50):
but ultimately, I gotta swing forthe fences while I'm here, and, honor
Colby Parkinson, who of course we forgivefor, going to the, LA Rams.
Do we?
Are we sure?
He's just really tall, and tallpeople sometimes, they, they
don't know what's happening.
Yeah.
Sometimes, sometimes.
That's true.
I, I wouldn't know.
But look- Yeah, no, it getsdizzying up there… 6, 600 for
Arroyo, that's a spicy meatball.

(24:12):
He's a hot player.
Now, can the move tightend work in Seattle?
Will the tight ends coach?
I, we're gonna seeplenty of 12, 12 personnel.
We know this, we know this.
Does Arroyo sne- like, in the preseason,he sneaks up the backfield, Tennessee
decides to not cover him, touchdown.
He's got six easy.
Not sure it'll be this easy thistime, but plus 600's enticing, Adam.

(24:34):
plus 600, man.
Arroyo's worth taking a swing on justbecause of the young players that you
think of that are kinda set to ascendthis year, Arroyo definitely has to be
at the top of, or near the top of thelist of all the young Seahawks players.
I'm high on Arroyo.
I think he could be a legitweapon this year that changes
the look of this offense.

(24:55):
And look, man, I love wish castingthings into existence, and Arroyo's
ascension is one of those things.
So, yeah, I love it.
Plus 600.
Plus, also too, that's a really difficultbet to hit, and so it increases my
likely odds of winning, which I like.
So, I'm in, Wilson.
You do like that.
Now we're up on our Fail of Mary.
You get honors again.
Remember, folks, it must be plus 1200or longer odds to qualify, so don't

(25:19):
bring the weak ass you-know-what.
What do you got?
All righty.
So, one of the things that wewitnessed in the Super Bowl last year
was the dark side defense absolutelysmothering the Patriots offense, and
really for, more than a half.
And it really felt like that wasgonna end up, being a shutout
when it was all said and done.

(25:40):
You heard the defense talkingabout, goose eggs, you
know, in the mic'd up stuff.
And I think it's something that whenit happened, when the Patriots scored
those garbage time points to make themfeel good about their place in the
world, the defense was pissed.
Mm-hmm.
And I think they're gonna takeit out on this Patriots team.
And so I got the Seahawks to win in ashutout against the Patriots at plus 2500.

(26:04):
Wilson, take it away.
What do you got?
Oh, that would be sweet.
I mean-… I, I, I get whatyou're saying about I was angry.
I can't imagine, you know- Yeah.
… being on the field.
and, you know, I think, likeI said, I feel like the Patriots are
just shaking in their boots goinginto this contest, so I would not be
surprised if they laid one out there.
Look, it's plus 2500 for a reason.

(26:26):
Not likely, but oh-so-deliciousif it does happen.
Now- Yes… if it gets to, like, quarter three and we're, like, you
know, six minutes into quarter threeand we're still pitching a shutout
I'm gonna pinch you, in a good way.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm gonna pinch you.
I'm gonna pinch you.
I think it's cosmic justice- I'm gonnabuy-… if, if it happens… I'm gonna
buy you a beer- Yeah… and pinch you.
That, the pro- Ooh… two promises.
Promise?
Promises, promises.
Ooh.
Right there.
All right.

(26:47):
Wilson, that's you next, bud.
Fail Mary.
I'll keep- First one of the year.
Yeah.
I'll keep it simple, guys.
you know I've been saying a lot abouttight ends, a lot about Colby Parkinson.
I'm going back to Arroyo here.
hoping to double up on this one.
For him not to just have a touchdown, but to have the first touchdown of
the game- First, first… we'reat plus 3,000, and that's- Ooh
been an act.
Sp- dude, I love the, Ilove the numerology here.

(27:10):
Yes.
He's, he's 10X-ing aWilson 300 to plus 3,000.
I could see Arroyo, I could see Arroyocatching a little tight end dump and
then rumbling, stumbling, and just, youknow, just getting into the end zone.
Why not?
He's a big man.
Oh, 1000%.
I feel one-upped a littlebit, but that's fine.
… at plus 3,000.
I actually do love it because, you know, you're betting on long shot things

(27:31):
and Arroyo's talent is something thatcan cause long shot things to happen.
So I'm into it, Clinton.
I like it as well.
All right, last one here, FailMary, let's make it count.
Wilson, same wavelength thatwe're doubling up a little bit.
I had Cooper Kupp earlier in my, threeplus reception bets to start things off
so I finish with same idea you had, dude.

(27:53):
I got Cooper Kupp with the firsttouchdown for the Seahawks on the
year, and the game at plus 1300.
Not quite as spicy for a dudewho only scored twice in the
regular season last year.
I really don't…
You know, I don't give a damn.
I could see the man getting open andcatching something o- over the weak
ass Patriots linebackers, work inthe middle of the field, Sammy Bear

(28:16):
going like, "Read one's not there.
Read two is there.
Fire the ball into Cooper Kupp'sgut," as he just kinda careens
into the end zone for six.
Yeah.
There's a…
Your bets here kinda workhand in glove, right?
You had the Jadarian Price bet where, you know, 14 carries, having s- s- success
on the ground, piling up the yards.
If that comes to fruition- Wow… andthe Seahawks run game is looking good

(28:39):
that is gonna make those linebackers biteon all the play action after Sam gets
back under center and runs that type ofoffense that we saw under Kubiak, that I
think will be carried over under Fleury.
And when that happens, who exploitsthat area of the field from this
receiving corps more than anybody?
That's Kupp.
And- I think, I think this is in range.

(29:01):
And you've had some success in the pastwith the first time TD scorer thing, which
is annoying, but I'm also rooting for you.
All right, that was fantastic.
Wilson, what are you doingfor the game tomorrow?
Obviously, we are here.
We're gonna be there.
We're gonna be live at the game.
You're chilling in California.
That's okay, 'cause you gotta getready for that Australia game to
watch the Rams hopefully lose to thestupid Niners, for the first time.
But what are you doing, man?

(29:22):
I always wanna check in.
Are you getting some wings?
Are you hanging out with buddies?
What happens in Cali when yougotta watch a Seahawks game?
I'm building some furniture, andthen hopefully by the time I'm done
with that, I'll be able to plug inthe TV and put it on top of that.
So that is my plan forbefore the game tomorrow.
Damn, where'd you buy your lumber?
IKEA.

(29:43):
IKEA?
Then you're not building something, you're assembling something.
How dare you commit fraudon the Sea Hawkers podcast.
I can't believe this.
But, Thank you for- Soundslike an awesome time… thank you
for checking my, my vocabularythere, you're absolutely right.
Yeah, yeah.
W- Wilson, that stillfeels like a build to me.
This feels like a build to us.
Look, if you dig this, hit thelikes, hit the subs, and tomorrow's

(30:03):
gonna be a awesome freaking time.
Winners get sprinkles.
We got the banner getting raised up thereto celebrate our last championship as we
go after our next championship, 'causewe're about to run this forward, Adam.
We surely are, man.
And I think with that- There'sonly one thing left to say.
Go Hawks.
Go Hawks.
