Basically, what you do is you go to Amazon.com and look up your industry or your product or anything that is related to your industry that your ideal client would be looking for. Go straight to the reviews, paying particular attention to those that have three stars, and read about what they loved about it or what they thought was missing, and see how you can create your content or your webinar topic around what the reviewers collectively agree is a major pain point. How to leverage Facebook. In the Facebook search bar, type your keyword and look up everything about it that’s in Facebook — posts, people that are talking or asking questions about it, videos, pages, and even groups that you might want to join. Look for what people are asking the most and try to figure out how you can help and serve them. You can make blog posts out of these questions or turn them into your webinar topic. How to do active market research. Look for your ideal client or potential ideal client, get them on the phone, and ask them questions about what it is that they need so that you can serve them. Three questions that you can ask are the following:   Why haven’t you done this solution before? What is your biggest challenge? Would you be willing to pay for a solution that did X, Y, and Z? How to use the Google AdWords Keyword Planner. You need a Google AdWords account to be able to use the Keyword Planner. What it does when you type in your keyword in the search bar is it scours the internet and comes up with all the keywords that people are searching online related to it, and then give you the average monthly searches. What you can do is use these keywords in your title or use it for your content.   How to use YouTube. In YouTube, search for your industry or your topic, and then get a list of the industry leaders that are making videos on that topic.
