You hear those sayings: "Age is just a number;" 40 is the new 30;" and "30 is the new 20." Why can't it just simply be what it is? You're getting older and that's OK; because, news flash, we are supposed to get older! 

Oscar Wilde says, "I am not young enough to know everything." Age brings clarity and wisdom, but many times we are holding on to something from the past-in a time of youth-that no longer is needed in the current age. It's healthy to break free from culture pressures in trying be something that we aren't or even should have been.
