Speaker 1 (00:01):
Qui Detroit, mosquits Toledo.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
This is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Mojo.

Speaker 4 (00:09):
He's amazing live.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Mojo.

Speaker 5 (00:24):
God, let me take your back to the beginning. Alrighty ready,
you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 6 (00:31):
You're a Dodo ahead. Good morning.

Speaker 7 (00:38):
Congratulations to the Wolverines on a big victory this weekend.

Speaker 6 (00:45):
You know what ant to both teams? They both they
both think.

Speaker 7 (00:50):
But but you know what, I guess if Michigan's ranked
twenty fifth in the country or something like that, and
they've got a chance to do anything, let's just let
them have it. You know, let's play spoiler now to
Ohio State. I think we all root for Michigan and
Michigan State just to beat the Ohio State Buckeyes and
listening Toledo and you're the fifty percent that our Buckeyes fans.

(01:13):
We apologize. Don't turn the station. It was hanging out
this weekend, chan, I know you were hanging out too.
We were hanging out. We went intailgated at Luke's fraternity's party,
which was by the way. You know, that's funny. They
were doing that on the mic. They were doing the
keV Theta Kai thing. And shout out to Kevin. They

(01:33):
actually should have had us out there this one. Remember
how two years ago we went to it and we
screwed them up.

Speaker 6 (01:39):
Do you know that story?

Speaker 7 (01:40):
How we got them banned on campus because yeah, you're not.
There's some kind of a thing where you cannot promote
the parties like you there's some rule in the fraternity
things with Michigan State where you cannot have media promotion
of a party, and they got they got in trouble
by the university for doing so. They got banned from

(02:01):
having parties for more than a year. Actually, this is
the first opportunity, and they technically could not even have
the party. It had to be the fraternities that were
next door to them that were having the party. So
they were just letting them use their property, if you
know what I mean the property.

Speaker 6 (02:17):
And so it was crazy.

Speaker 7 (02:20):
So Chelsea and I got to the party and Luke
met us, and I think the thing that I was
most surprised by he was sober. I think because he
was one of the guys that was responsible, and I
think he had to be responsible. It was crazy, I
grow up. And he had two hay rides the day
before that. They were drinking their borgs, and so they

(02:40):
had it. By the way a north a no board
policy on the Michigan State University Police and the East
Lansing Police, if they saw you with a borg, which
of those that you don't know, it's the gallon of
milk that they dump out, clean out and then they
pour what tons of alcohol into it with a juice.

Speaker 6 (03:01):
It's a gross.

Speaker 8 (03:02):
Juice like a blackoutrager.

Speaker 7 (03:05):
Yeah, if they that's what it stands for. If they
saw you with that, they would make you dump it.
And I saw that. Chelsea and I actually were walking
and we saw the cops pull up to some some
kids that were drinking it.

Speaker 6 (03:17):
Why aren't trying to steal it? A fun away? Well,
because I think that they want to make sure it's
not giving.

Speaker 8 (03:21):
Them like a duy or whatever IP or whatever it's called.

Speaker 7 (03:24):
Yeah, it's weird, it's funny, I was asking. I asked
the cop that question. I go, you write MPs, I go,
we don't have mips anymore. Yeah, there's some kind of
a thing. I think you just pretty much just get
a get arrested or something. I don't know if it is.
I don't think they call it a minor in possession.

Speaker 6 (03:39):
Yeah. Yeah, like back in the high school days, you'd
get mips.

Speaker 9 (03:43):
Everybody was getting mips.

Speaker 7 (03:44):
Here is the part that was the most interesting. So
his fraternity house. We got to walk through the front door,
which was really nice. We got through the front door
and we had special VIP treatment. Everybody else had to
go and they had to wait in this long line
of I'm not kidding you, at least two hundred people
waiting line. So we get through the front door and
we walk into the house. And there's something about going

(04:08):
into a fraternity or sorority house. You sit there and
you walk inside and you go, there's something decinging going
on here. The Florati. They cleaned the crap out of
that thing. Yeah, this class of you know, people that
are living there. I think sophomores living in the houses
because Luke lived last year in it. They cleaned it.

(04:28):
It looked really good. But the line to get to
the bathroom was ridiculous. And I asked one of the
girls who was standing there, and she was like dancing around.
I said to her, go, how long have you been
waiting in line? Forty minutes to go to the bathroom.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Oh, I remember those.

Speaker 6 (04:44):
Days and listen to what she did.

Speaker 7 (04:47):
She said that when I finally saw her as she
came out of the bathroom, she finally got in, I
think she was like ten more minutes after the so
it probably took her fifty minutes to get to the bathroom.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
Crazy.

Speaker 7 (04:56):
I'm out on the back you know area there, and
she comes walking up and she was a girl from Rochester.

Speaker 6 (05:01):
So I forget what.

Speaker 7 (05:02):
Your name was, but you were very, very nice, and
I felt bad for you because you've got now got
a bladder infection. She comes up and she goes, I
peede in the shower. So what they did was they
had the bathroom and then they had whatever their showers
that are there. She actually, while some people were peeing
on the toilet, they were multipns. Girls would get in
the shower and just pull their pants down and just

(05:24):
start peeing.

Speaker 6 (05:25):
That's their version of the trough. Is that what? Yeah,
I guess that was kind of it.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
I remember back in my day, I wouldn't even go
to the bathroom. I would just find a bush outside
because I was like, okay for too long.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
So I was at MSU on Saturday, myself, Wes and
then Lucy and Smith we all went to the game
to see my steps on cheering on the sidelines. We
get there, and we got there late. We got there
at like ten after four, pretty late. Some of these
people got there at like ten am, and so there
was no parking anywhere close to campus. We parked somewhere

(05:59):
really really fun away and by the time we got
to campus, I looked at West I was like, I
have to go to the bathroom, and I have to
go right now.

Speaker 9 (06:07):
I cannot hold my pea anymore.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Mom's youth had kids, you understand this, And I'm like,
there's no way I'm going to make it to any bathroom,
any porta potty.

Speaker 9 (06:16):
I was like in panic mode.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
That was me, and he was like all right, and
I'm like, I'm just gonna pee on the side of
the street. And the kids were like what. So we
opened both passenger doors. I got in between them. I
pulled down my pants and I squatted up against the
running boards of his dodge ram. It came out like
a hose and I told the kids look the other direction.

(06:38):
Of course, they're both watching me and just giggling away
as their mom is just bare butt in the street peeing.

Speaker 9 (06:46):
You can't hold it for that long.

Speaker 7 (06:48):
I'd like to ask the question. I'd like to know
from the women that are listening. Are there any women
that have had to pee outdoors or pee in the
you know, sinks, or pee in a shower like this weekend?
Have you peed anywhere but a toilet? I would love
to know where did you pee and how did you pee?

(07:08):
Because I think that would be kind of interesting just
to hear, Like peeing in a shower is interesting.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
Sitting down standing up? Did they get like in the
shower or did they just bend over the shower? Do
you know that word?

Speaker 10 (07:19):
If you knew?

Speaker 6 (07:20):
I didn't ask her to describe it. I thought that
would be kind of weird.

Speaker 11 (07:23):
I it before I put in brad bathrooms. Yes, of
course in the showers.

Speaker 6 (07:26):
I actually, what do you do when you do it?

Speaker 11 (07:29):
I just took all my pants off.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
No, like, do you stand in the shower?

Speaker 4 (07:34):
I stand about the drain.

Speaker 11 (07:36):
If I take my pants off, stand above the drain.

Speaker 6 (07:38):
Where your pants at at this moment? Your you're holding?

Speaker 4 (07:41):
You take them off, holding them?

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Then I let it?

Speaker 12 (07:43):
Wow?

Speaker 6 (07:44):
What if a guy walks in at that time? Are
you okay with that?

Speaker 11 (07:47):
The girls, I don't think that would be going.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
No, the guys aren't really going because the.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Bathroom there's like a line of defense at the fraternity house.

Speaker 8 (07:57):
Brat bathroom too, Like put my clothes on and everything
I shower.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
I was gonna say, do you turn the water on
after to like clean it up in there?

Speaker 13 (08:04):
Nah?

Speaker 8 (08:04):
Bro nothing bathroom, nothing's clean around there.

Speaker 6 (08:08):
The kid that has to go and shower to go
to church. The phone.

Speaker 9 (08:12):
I got to show you how to do it with
your pants still on. Really, I could never do that
because I always get picked. My dad taught me how
to do that when I was little and we would
go camping.

Speaker 7 (08:19):
How would your dad teach you how to do that
with it? What do you mean, well, dad, how did
dad know?

Speaker 4 (08:24):
Dad was a dad of girls. He had to teach
us these things when we were younger and camping.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
That's wild because I would think that that would be
something that is interesting that a dad like, I've taught
my kids how to, you know, pee on a tree
and stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
But I didn't know how to My dad taught us
how to pian a tree too raw.

Speaker 11 (08:38):
Yeah, you should never learned that.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
I'll teach you.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
Get the super soaker going straight? Actually, what's going on? Eric?
What's up?

Speaker 13 (08:49):
Eric?

Speaker 6 (08:50):
Hold on?

Speaker 7 (08:51):
Eric, stay right there. I got you right now, stand by, Eric,
stand by. I got my phone system just literally there.
Hey Eric, what's up?

Speaker 14 (09:02):
Good morning, my people.

Speaker 15 (09:05):
I'm still scared to go to m s U.

Speaker 6 (09:08):
I got an m I P.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
About ten years ago.

Speaker 6 (09:10):
I was walking down the street with my buddies for.

Speaker 16 (09:13):
Like undercover cops.

Speaker 6 (09:14):
I don't know what they were doing, but they're sitting
in an unmarked car.

Speaker 13 (09:17):
Jump out.

Speaker 17 (09:18):
Uh made a deal with me, he said, if you
blow all zos right now, we'll let you walk free.
I just left the party. I didn't think I drank
that much young and dom I said, all right, let's
do it. Yep, Blue, it's not Zeros gave me an
m I P. They signed me up for probation. I
never reported once, never went back.

Speaker 18 (09:38):
And no, that's the thing.

Speaker 17 (09:41):
I don't know if I'm wanted, I don't know if
I'm not wanting.

Speaker 7 (09:45):
I don't know where you live, but I'm assuming that
their system gets everywhere. Just don't get pulled over, because
you're probably there's probably like some.

Speaker 14 (09:53):
Well, so that's the thing.

Speaker 6 (09:54):
Every time I get pulled over, Mo, John, I'm like,
it's it here. It is ms U ten years ago.

Speaker 19 (09:58):
This is it.

Speaker 6 (09:59):
Every time they' like, hey, I have a good day, blood,
You're all good. I'm like, all right, it's coming back
on me. Man, what's up? Ass Uh? Who's gonna say?
Esh shanty ashanti hi a shanty?

Speaker 20 (10:11):
Yes?

Speaker 21 (10:12):
Hi guys?

Speaker 18 (10:13):
Why first time?

Speaker 22 (10:16):
Yes.

Speaker 23 (10:20):
So I listen to you guys like literally every morning,
and I'm driving on my way to work right now,
and you guys are.

Speaker 20 (10:24):
Talking about p and I'm like, oh my god, this
is my.

Speaker 24 (10:27):
Chance, right because my nickname is PP Quinn.

Speaker 25 (10:30):
So anyone who's listening to the radio, you guys know
who this is.

Speaker 18 (10:34):
CP Quinn.

Speaker 6 (10:35):
Yes, why how did you get that name?

Speaker 26 (10:38):
Control life?

Speaker 25 (10:39):
So me and my friends we get their BND for
our birthday, like every year.

Speaker 23 (10:43):
It was my friend Brian's birthday.

Speaker 21 (10:45):
He look in July.

Speaker 18 (10:46):
So it's summertime.

Speaker 26 (10:48):
I get there super late, and.

Speaker 27 (10:49):
I have to stay in the garage.

Speaker 25 (10:51):
So there's only one bathroom and it's in the house.

Speaker 21 (10:53):
I am literally fall over intoxicated and I cannot.

Speaker 26 (10:59):
Get in this house.

Speaker 25 (11:00):
I go back to the garage.

Speaker 20 (11:02):
And I find a dream and I literally just squat
over it.

Speaker 6 (11:04):
Wow, peep, man, that's unbelievable. That is that is talent.

Speaker 7 (11:11):
Do you let the water flow a little bit to
clean it up after that, or do you kind of.

Speaker 26 (11:15):
Like, okay, so they have a hole in the garage,
and yes I did.

Speaker 9 (11:20):
What a nice your So you are such a good
house guest.

Speaker 7 (11:24):
You're invited. You're invited back anytime. What's going on, Michael?
How you doing?

Speaker 28 (11:29):
Hey?

Speaker 29 (11:29):
Are you guys doing it?

Speaker 14 (11:30):
More?

Speaker 6 (11:30):
Good? Buddy? What's up?

Speaker 30 (11:32):
I'm all right? So, yes, years back, we are going
to this festival and we were late, so we had
to park streets get there and I couldn't hold because
it took us like a few hours to get there.
So I'm on the side of somebody's house, on the
side of your dick and just squatted down.

Speaker 6 (11:47):
Just some random guy's house. You're just peeing on the
side of huh. Yes, yeah, at the festival.

Speaker 7 (11:54):
That's, by the way, the thing about festivals, you don't
want to live by the festival because the people that
are by the festival need to go pee.

Speaker 6 (12:00):
What's up, Courtney? How you doing?

Speaker 19 (12:03):
Good morning?

Speaker 31 (12:04):
I was just curious, Moto, how do you feel that
you have paid so much money just to fund for
girls peeing in the shower that loose.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
That is true.

Speaker 7 (12:12):
As a parent, I was kind of proud of the
fact that we parents of all those fraternity kids, you know,
made sure that we have a cleaning service probably coming.
Actually Luke lived there last year and they had a
cleaning service come once a week.

Speaker 6 (12:24):
It never looked like a cleaning service camp.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
I feel so bad for that cleaning surface.

Speaker 20 (12:28):
I mean, I have three.

Speaker 31 (12:29):
Kids, and it's not that much different than their childhood
when they're just peeing a.

Speaker 7 (12:33):
Tower, is it exactly? I love, by the way, peeing
in a shower.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
I'm gonna say it.

Speaker 6 (12:40):
Sometimes I Vicky, what's going on?

Speaker 32 (12:44):
Mojo?

Speaker 19 (12:45):
Yes, I am a girl and I dried a dump truck.

Speaker 33 (12:50):
And let me tell you, will.

Speaker 14 (12:53):
You have to pee?

Speaker 20 (12:55):
I have been sitting on seventy five.

Speaker 21 (12:58):
I won't jump out on the step, put my truck,
pull my pants down just a little bit, and let
it go.

Speaker 18 (13:04):
I have to pee so bad.

Speaker 6 (13:05):
You are a lady, that's right.

Speaker 7 (13:10):
Uh have you ever had it where it's splashed back
at you and got into the dumb truck?

Speaker 20 (13:15):
Oh yeah, definitely, I Ki, I've all peed on my
pants before.

Speaker 32 (13:21):
Well, you gotta go, you gotta go.

Speaker 27 (13:22):
You can't wait.

Speaker 6 (13:23):
You gotta go back.

Speaker 27 (13:24):
Three kids, you gotta go.

Speaker 7 (13:26):
If I see a dumb truck sitting on the side
of seventy five, I know you're taking a whiz.

Speaker 6 (13:32):
Thank you for the call, Vicky, take care.

Speaker 5 (13:35):

Speaker 6 (14:07):

Speaker 14 (14:09):

Speaker 7 (14:10):

Speaker 7 (15:26):
I was watching nothing but football over the weekend, so
I have zero idea what's going on in this world?

Speaker 4 (15:31):
Okay, Well, Kim Kardashian was on the very famous Graham
Norton Show on Friday, I Believe, and she was talking
about how she took the bar back in July. She's
confident she will pass. She will know in less than
two weeks if she is officially a lawyer.

Speaker 36 (15:49):
I took the bar exam in July and I get
the results a few days after our premiere, So in
two weeks. Oh, Michael wown please favorite it was really really.

Speaker 32 (16:02):
The law.

Speaker 6 (16:05):
Grado?

Speaker 36 (16:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (16:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Was this something that you just always wanted to do
or are you going to actually practice law?

Speaker 36 (16:13):
I hope to practice law million like ten years. I'll
give up being Kim Kay and be a lawyer, like
a trial lawyer.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
Passing the bar would also allow her to follow in
the footsteps of her dad, Robert Kardashian, who was famously
on O. J. Simpson's defense team for his murder trials
in mad nineties.

Speaker 6 (16:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 37 (16:29):
I wonder how much did it costs to retain Kim
as my legal aid. She's like a very expensive layer,
makes you know, for the.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
Love of raging?

Speaker 9 (16:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Chris Martin and Game of Throne stars Sophie Turner went
on a secret date allegedly. We're just getting details on this,
but it was recent. The Coldplay frontman broke up with
his partner of eight years, fifty Shades of Gray actress
Decota Johnson, earlier this summer, and I know for a
while Sophie was dating some sort of like British aristocrat.

Speaker 9 (16:59):
They broke up last month.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
So then Sophie and Chris had this little thing. And
the crazy part of this story is that back during
the pandemic, Sophie appeared on her then husband Joe Jonas's
Cup of Joe podcast and she received a surprise birthday
message from none other than her big crush at the time,

(17:22):
and big crush now I guess, Chris Martin. Fast forward
five years, they're starting to date.

Speaker 6 (17:27):
I like when people are all happy bouncing around with
each other.

Speaker 7 (17:31):
I kind of like it. It's like, hey, it's like Airbnb
Celebrity Day.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Apple has removed the T and TA on her apps
from the app Store due to violations of content moderation
and user privacy rules. We have talked about this app
so much on this show, but the removal was prompted
by an excessive number of user complaints, which included reports
of people's personal info getting leaked or posted, and then

(17:56):
info of minors was being shared on there, and obviously
it's a big, big no no, so gone from the
app store. I don't know. I don't have the t
app on my phone, so I don't know if you
have the app, if you can still log into it
or not. They're just you know, preventing further downloads.

Speaker 7 (18:11):
But I at first I thought you said the tnt app.
I'm like, wait a second, and you said the t app.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
But I was like, and you guys have to google
the video of this. I hope everybody in this room
already saw it. Boston Celtics star Jayalen Brown caught using
that spray on hair to fill in a bad hairline
or bald spots during the game against the New York
Knicks on Friday night. I don't know how you say this.

(18:41):
This Knicks player's name og n Anobi Oh. I was
gonna get it right anyway. Brown lowered his shoulder and
his head like swiped in an Obe's white jersey. You
cannot mistake there is this big black streak across the
front of his jersey. So it's either hair dye or

(19:03):
it's spray on filler to make his hairline look further
down on his forehead. But he's pulling the lebron. Oh
my god, it's so funny.

Speaker 37 (19:11):
Look he played here last night, he being Jalen Brown
of the Boston Celtics, and we the Pistons wore white jerseys.
Did Was there any no Beijing spread tonight? So maybe
you got another layer and added on freezer.

Speaker 7 (19:22):
I was gonna say, when I watched that video, I
thought that is the greatest way to get yourself some
space to get a shot off, use your head to
kind of like push them off. That's embarrassed, all right.

HVAC and then this one here has kind of been
a little better.

Speaker 9 (21:29):
A little person following us?

Speaker 6 (21:31):

But I feel super accomplished and I'm ready for the week.

Speaker 33 (22:21):

Speaker 7 (22:23):
I really don't think that there was a lot of
crazy stuff that went around this weekend.

Speaker 6 (22:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (22:26):
For some reason, I was kind of away from a
lot of the dirty, but I didn't get a lot
of alerts. Ari, your challenger today is Kate. She's from Rockford.

Speaker 39 (22:37):
Kate.

Carrie walking around in. That one's like only lipstick and
tees Ford Field friendly.

All right, here's the deal.

Speaker 4 (23:23):

gonna look it up on my little prize sheet.

Speaker 6 (26:57):

Speaker 7 (26:59):
I know that fifty dollars gift card to one of
our favorite restaurants. This week, I think we're going to
feature Detroit Taco Company. I know you're in Rockford, and
that probably wouldn't work. You're not coming all the way
to Detroit Taco Company from.

Three great stations, one stupid show.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

Speaker 6 (28:14):
All right, it is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 7 (28:16):
Lydia just told me we have a very special guest
that is going to be joining this radio program and
less than an hour. And this guest requires she says, security.
I like it. So we'll figure out who that is
coming up here in just a little bit. But I
guess it's a little bit of a surprise. We got

(28:37):
a good week of shows for you with the second
date update this morning, then War of the Roses, am
I the a Hole tomorrow, Wednesday five Live second Date update, Thursday,
the War of the Roses, and then Friday wrapping it
all up with the Throwback throw Down.

Speaker 6 (28:52):
So it's gonna be a good week of shows. It's
Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 7 (28:55):
keV witnessed somebody get fired from their job right in
front of you.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
Has that ever happened to anybody in here.

Speaker 7 (29:02):
I've seen people quit their jobs right in front of me,
but never anybody get fired. I don't think so Okay.

Speaker 9 (29:07):
Aside myself, I guess I've been there too experience.

Speaker 6 (29:12):
So I'm ordering a pizza. This's Friday night, getting a pizza.

Speaker 37 (29:14):
Josiah's coming over, you know, have some fun, watch some movies,
eat some pizza, that whole thing. So I order my
pizza through the app, nice little thing, and watch it track.
It says it's ready to review.

Speaker 6 (29:24):
Order up.

Speaker 37 (29:25):
So I go in there and there are three people
standing at the front. So I'm like in my mind
as I'm walking to it, I'm like, oh, they ready
to go, you know what I mean, They're here. The
Customer Services A one I'm about to grab my pizza
and be on my way. Soon as I hit the
threshold and I hear the ding ding, I hear argument,
and I'm like, oh, okay. Now the two people on
the outside are like facing each other arguing, and the

(29:46):
person in the middle is just kind of uncomfortable. That's
the only one that's given me eye contact. So soon
as I walk in, I kind of stop. Instead of
going right up and saying I placed my order, I
stopped because I had no idea what's going on.

Speaker 6 (29:57):
Just these people arguing.

Speaker 37 (29:58):
There's a manager on on my left and there's a
young lady on the right. He like, keep talking. You
think I'm playing keep talking? And she going then I'm
sending her uncomfortable. The person in the middle just walks up.
It's like, how can I help you, sir. I'm like,
I'm looking at I'm not even looking at them. I'm
looking at the argument happened, and I was like, I
have a pickup order. He's like, well, what did you have.

(30:19):
I'm like, I got the two large pieces with the
the cennament bread type thing. He's like, okay, So they
going to back and now it's just me and this
person right here. I'm thinking, I can't hear anything that's
going in the back right now. But luckily, you know,
they realized that there was a customer and they should
take this in the back.

Speaker 6 (30:34):
That's not where it ended though. He was like, that's it,
you out of here. I can hear that. She's like,
I don't give up. They was arguing.

Speaker 37 (30:40):
I grab my pizza and I left. I say, oh
my god, taking place right now?

Speaker 42 (30:44):
Wait?

Speaker 4 (30:44):
So what was like? What happened? Did you get any details?

Speaker 37 (30:48):
Whatever happened happened before I got there. I just seen
the aftermath. I don't know if they started arguing.

Speaker 6 (30:54):
I'm in my mind.

Speaker 37 (30:54):
I tried to build this in there because anytime somebody
say you think I'm playing.

Speaker 6 (30:58):
It's like, oh yeah, she must yeah yeah. He told
her to stop, she would stop, so.

Speaker 9 (31:05):
He fired her.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
That's what it seems.

Speaker 37 (31:07):
I mean when I left, they were still in the back,
but he said you ought to here.

Speaker 6 (31:11):
To me, that means she's not gonna be there.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
You got a call today and ask for the story,
because you know, some employee just wants to spill the tea.

Speaker 6 (31:19):
Anyway, Is that was the guy, the manager? That's what
I'm assuming he was the mad unprofessional? Was that guy?

Speaker 7 (31:26):
I mean, I don't yeah, I don't know what the
customer did he not realize you were there, but he
must have because they.

Speaker 6 (31:31):
Went up back and they were right there. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (31:33):
Eight four four Mojo Live eight four four sixty six
five sixty five for eight. Have you ever witnessed somebody
to get fired in front of you or have you
ever been fired in front of a customer? Because that
to me is like wild and how crazy of a
firing did it?

Speaker 6 (31:46):
You know? Turn out to base it didn't ruin the
pizza though the pizza was who made it? That wonder?
Probably I don't know. Hope he wasn't a girl because
she's not there anymore. But I know now that place
is going to go down.

Speaker 7 (31:56):
Hell, you should call up there and say, there was
a lady that on Friday made my pizza and I
just wanted to compliment fast and see if she's still
there and what's going on.

Speaker 6 (32:07):
I have witnessed people quit.

Speaker 7 (32:10):
I've told the story before about going into the restaurant
and Chelsea and I ordered and we got a couple
of you know things, you know, out from us, like
we had a little app and had some drinks, and
then all of a sudden, we never saw the person
that was working there anymore, and we're like, what's going on.
We said to the waiter of another table and go, hey,
is our you know, server going to come back here?
And go, oh my god, oh geez, I feel bad.

(32:31):
She quit, yes, in the middle of the thing. Quit
and didn't even by the way, didn't even say hey,
somebody want to take over my think or the manager
didn't even do anything. So we sat there the whole time.
I want to meet these people, like theys do this.
I would have stood outside when she was walking out
and got tell me what's going on?

Speaker 6 (32:52):
In exit interview.

Speaker 7 (32:55):
I like to like ask questions and interview and see
what's see what's going on.

Speaker 9 (33:00):
All I cared about was because you're a part of that.

Speaker 7 (33:03):
What's going on? Hey Sam, it's Mojo in the morning.
What's happening?

Speaker 28 (33:08):
Good morning. So I had an employee that I had
to fire because she would make advances at all the
female employees and say some real explicit stuff about her
sex flights. And I got a call that all three
of our employees wanted to quit. So I had to
walk into a store with four girls standing right there,
and I had to look at her and tell her

(33:29):
the things that you say will never work around anywhere
in this company. As she looked at me and was like,
why it's normal. I'm a lesbian. I'm like, you can't
talk to these girls the way you are. I can't
say the words she told me. I can't say it,
but let's just say it has something to do with
a hand.

Speaker 7 (33:45):
Oh say how many words?

Speaker 6 (33:50):
Uh? I was gonna say. I want to know.

Speaker 7 (33:55):
I want to know you know why you fired her?
I would keep her around just for entertainment purposes. Initial tea,
what's happening?

Speaker 4 (34:03):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (34:04):
Your voice disguise tea?

Speaker 25 (34:07):
Yes, I just don't want to lose myself.

Speaker 6 (34:10):
Okay, So what happened?

Speaker 25 (34:13):
So I actually just test people?

Speaker 4 (34:17):
Okay?

Speaker 23 (34:18):
So I see people lose people lose their.

Speaker 7 (34:21):
Jobs, Oh because they failed the drug test?

Speaker 28 (34:26):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (34:26):
And do you know right away that they failed the
drug test?

Speaker 40 (34:30):
Like?

Speaker 6 (34:30):
Is your drug test one of those ones that has
to go back.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
To a lab.

Speaker 25 (34:34):
So it just depends what kind of tests they require.

Speaker 21 (34:37):
Okay, Sometimes they're instant, yeah, or they have to be
set out.

Speaker 6 (34:43):
What do they do for work that they have to
take drug testing?

Speaker 5 (34:49):
Injuries?

Speaker 4 (34:51):
Injury, something about accidents.

Speaker 9 (34:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (34:57):
Jo okay, okay, so they work heavy Because I was
asking somebody the other day, I'm like, do they still
drug test anybody? He was, Oh, yeah, my company does.
All tend they work with heavy machinery. It's like, you
can't be working a fork left to be a stone.
What's going on, Erica?

Speaker 37 (35:14):
Hey there?

Speaker 23 (35:14):
Yeah, I was actually fired in front of an entire restaurant.

Speaker 12 (35:18):
Full of people.

Speaker 6 (35:19):
Oh my god, what happened.

Speaker 23 (35:21):
Well back when I was in college and I was
working for the restaurant. It was a great, awesome restaurant,
authentic food, and they had come out and they said,
you need to vacuum the restaurant. So I couldn't completely
understand what they said, and in my head I thought
they meant welcome, So I don't know. I always follow directions.

(35:46):
I went around and I said welcome, Welcome to the restaurant,
Welcome to the restaurant. And they came out with a vacuum.
They had actually said vacuum, and I misunderstood, and they
got so frustrated.

Speaker 7 (35:59):
You really, you're being nice to customers, welcoming them to
the restaurant. They must maybe they thought that you were
on drugs, that you're walking around doing that. But that
seems like that's a misunderstanding.

Speaker 23 (36:17):
Yeah, I started crying in the table that I was
leaving behind. Gave me a giant tip exactly.

Speaker 6 (36:26):
That's nice.

Speaker 7 (36:27):
Yeah, I would feel weird if all of a sudden
somebody got fired right in front of me and they
were you know, a waitress or you know whatever.

Speaker 6 (36:34):
But yeah, that would that would kind of suck. Depends
on my service, though. What if your complaint led to
their firing, would you feel bad?

Speaker 37 (36:46):
No, not really, because it means that it wasn't the
first time.

Speaker 6 (36:48):
Somebody can play.

Speaker 7 (36:49):
Really, I would feel horrible, like I like, unless they
were just so rude or mean, you know, but if
it was just that they were just bad and not
a good server, like I would hate that.

Speaker 6 (37:00):
That they got can nobody's getting fired off one complaint.

Speaker 7 (37:04):
Yeah, that's true. That is true, especially nowadays it's hard
to find good people. So all right, he's Mojo in
the morning.

Speaker 3 (37:10):
I can't wait for you to come over and meet
my parents.

Speaker 43 (37:12):
I'd such a.

Speaker 5 (37:13):
Great time, but a total loser on bumble and he's
still not calling you back. Second date update happens at
eight twenty on Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 7 (37:21):
So Lydia is going to do a topic this morning,
and this is one of those topics where you know
that Lydia is going to probably meant to start talking
and I'm going to ask her a bunch of questions
and she's going to feel like really nervous.

Speaker 11 (37:33):
Isn't that all the time though?

Speaker 6 (37:34):
Pretty much?

Speaker 7 (37:35):
But this one deals with the fact that Lydia, again,
and this is the second or third time I think
in the time that Lydia has been our executive producer,
has kept a relationship from all of us she is
secretly dating, but this time way too you hear who
she's dating, Lydia.

Speaker 8 (37:50):
Okay, So for the past month, I've been seeing an
X of mine and as we know, I've been on
and off with gas station guy for probably like three years,
three or four years, and we kind of rekindled something
last month when I saw him at church and it's
been kind of a good thing ever since. And I
wanted to wait to tell all of you because my

(38:12):
best friend and my mom didn't know for some time.
And this past weekend he had spent some time with
me my best friend at church. We had a church
event and it went really well, so I thought I
could let more people know about it.

Speaker 6 (38:25):
Gas Station guy is back.

Speaker 4 (38:27):
He is, Yeah, So remind everybody why you broke up
with him in the first place.

Speaker 3 (38:34):
Well, he was.

Speaker 8 (38:34):
Breaking up with me because he didn't see fit and oh,
it's getting married.

Speaker 4 (38:38):
That's right.

Speaker 8 (38:39):
He didn't know if he could match my timeline, and
we separated and I dated other people. He probably saw
other people during that time. I'm not really sure about
a full relationship because he told me he hasn't been
full on dating anybody. But now we are an item,
but we're not in a relationship because he has not

(38:59):
asked to me. He doesn't really think that asking.

Speaker 6 (39:02):
So what do you get quiet? What do you guys
call you each other?

Speaker 11 (39:05):
Then we don't call each other anything.

Speaker 9 (39:07):
You're just hanging out at this point.

Speaker 6 (39:08):
Just gas station gather.

Speaker 11 (39:09):
Yeah, but we're like exclusive.

Speaker 6 (39:12):
Oh exclusive friends?

Speaker 3 (39:14):
No?

Speaker 6 (39:15):
Can you play exclusive friends? No?

Speaker 7 (39:17):
Because he's not really a boyfriend. You said, right, because
he hasn't asked you.

Speaker 8 (39:20):
So he has the same mindset as you, Mojo that
he doesn't think that he has to ask a girl
in their late twenties to be their girlfriend or boyfriend.

Speaker 7 (39:28):
I think I think that when once you first off,
I think that once you guys are together, and if
you're together and you're not going to see other people,
you're together, you don't have to go. It's not like
gasking somebody to marry you.

Speaker 6 (39:40):
I don't think.

Speaker 7 (39:41):
I think it's like will you date me? That sounds
like such a middle school thing to do to me.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
It does, But I still want to have that conversation
of what we are.

Speaker 3 (39:51):
We need really clear, very clear understanding, because God forbid,
something happens and then they're like, oh, we weren't really together.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
Right cooking up?

Speaker 11 (40:01):
My mom knows, but my dad doesn't know.

Speaker 9 (40:04):
His family daggona feel.

Speaker 8 (40:06):
I don't think he's going to be too happy just
because of the on and off stuff like. That's also
why I didn't say anything, because it's like when you're
on and off with someone so many times, everyone around you,
around you gets exhausted. Right, They're like, we don't want
to hear about this anymore. So I thought, let me
just take some time think about what we're doing first
and then go from there.

Speaker 4 (40:24):
So did his timeline? Did he change this idea of
the timeline, Because I know it is important to you
to get married, you want to start a family, and
if he wasn't into that, something must have changed.

Speaker 11 (40:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (40:34):
So during the time that we were apart, I think
he really realized, you.

Speaker 11 (40:38):
Know, how much I meant to him, and.

Speaker 8 (40:40):
I realized that too, with dating other people, this is
just the person that I love. And Mojo, I feel
like you've always known that. Yeah, he is somebody that
I love. I've loved him for a really long time,
and he's someone who I've always wanted to be with.
I do think it took more time for him to
realize that he wanted to.

Speaker 43 (40:56):
Be with me.

Speaker 7 (40:58):
Is no I will I was going to ask, what
about the sister? Is his sister okay with us? Because
he's got to get sorry, don't you remember that when
they were together before, the sister was not uh was
her friends?

Speaker 8 (41:11):
Her friends weren't really a fan of me. I think
there was some jealousy there. I'm going to be straight
up with that. I think that, you know, maybe they
had some feelings towards it.

Speaker 6 (41:22):
One of the friends did.

Speaker 11 (41:23):
Yeah, I mean they.

Speaker 8 (41:24):
Listened to the show and they would send certain bits
to you know, other people and talk about me.

Speaker 11 (41:28):
And it came back to me, so all right, I.

Speaker 6 (41:30):
Want to ask the question I got.

Speaker 7 (41:31):
I got to do a solicit to the listeners because
I would like them to participate in this topic. I
would like to ask who hit a boyfriend the longest?
I think that could be one of them. We get
to ask that question, like how long did you hide?
And usually when you're hiding, you're hiding an axe. It's
probably for a reason. Why were you hiding the ax
from everybody else? Eight four four Mojo Live eight four

(41:53):
four six six five six five four eight. I actually
like this guy. I like him because I think I
because you like him. I think that's probably it me.
I've met him, honestly only I think maybe once or
twice Lydia, I think twice, Right, I met him one time,
didn't I? Did I meet him at your house once
or I can't remember if it was your house? And

(42:13):
then I met him at the what was the Middle
Eastern restaurant we were at that one time for.

Speaker 6 (42:18):
The sig? Yeah, the shindig.

Speaker 4 (42:21):
Wait, he was there. He was there that night of
your graduation party? Yeah, with his sister Yea. Did I
meet him?

Speaker 6 (42:27):
Yeah, it's a nice guy. I like him.

Speaker 37 (42:29):
I know I'm like that I met him one time
at a concert. But this is the problem when you
have friends who get their heart broken or go through
situations where you don't see them in the best light,
and the relationship is the reason why they're affected in
a negative way.

Speaker 6 (42:42):
Because now I'm like, why are we dealing with this dude?
I don't see you at your worst with him.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
I'm like, bruh, I know it's okay. So that's and
Lydia knows this. That's where I am too. I feel
like I need and I'm very protective of you, Lydia,
and you know this and that, so I am trying,
like I want to be so happy for you, but
I feel like I need to get over the uh though,
Like I know, I feel like I know some stuff
that I don't like still, so like I personally.

Speaker 6 (43:06):
Need to get over that.

Speaker 7 (43:08):
This is because I feel like, yeah, this is why
you if you're fighting with a boyfriend or girlfriend or
husband or my case, wife, you don't tell people close
to you you guys are fighting.

Speaker 4 (43:17):
I know you're a smart girl, DiDio, and you're you're
not going to put yourself in a situation that, like
you know, would turn out bad or whatever. So I
know that you're being very cautious moving forward, and I
applaud you for that, But I feel like I'm in
Kevin's bowl of like, Okay, I need.

Speaker 7 (43:30):
To When Chelsea and I had our last uh you know,
bad time, I talked to my family a little bit
and I have a sister that was not really nice
to Chelsea for a little bit, you know, And uh
it was because she was trying to be protective sister
to me.

Speaker 6 (43:45):
Montana, what's going on?

Speaker 18 (43:48):
Okay, So he's.

Speaker 33 (43:50):
My husband now, but I hit him when we were
going through a court case. Nobody knew that we were
still seeing each other about the whole court case.

Speaker 7 (44:02):
What was the craziest hiding thing that you had? Like,
was he ever in your house and you had family
come over and you had to like tell him to
stay in the room, bet and.

Speaker 18 (44:11):
My probation officer came over.

Speaker 6 (44:15):
You had to hide him from the probation officer, which
is bad. Where did you hide him at exactly?

Speaker 18 (44:21):
He was under the bed.

Speaker 7 (44:26):
Thank god, he's not my size. Oh my god, that's crazy. Hey,
what's up, d How you doing?

Speaker 18 (44:34):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (44:34):
Good morning, Good morning D.

Speaker 7 (44:36):
You kept not one, but two a two year relationship
from somebody.

Speaker 27 (44:42):
Yeah, well, so I dated this guy for two years.
Oh but so the first year I kept it a
secret because my parents didn't think I should state as
a single mother. Yeah, so I didn't tell anyone in
my family, and every time my daughter went to her dad,
hope is when I saw my boyfriend. And then after

(45:05):
a year, obviously, I started telling people that we were dating.
But it was really weird because they were like, oh, how.

Speaker 33 (45:11):
Long has it been going out?

Speaker 22 (45:14):
Well?

Speaker 7 (45:16):
Yeah, I was gonna say, how do you celebrate anniversaries?

Speaker 6 (45:19):
Like that would have been the weirdest thing with Lydia.

Speaker 7 (45:22):
Of all of a sudden, Lydia's like, I'm going out
on our five month anniversary. Of like five month anniversary,
I thought you just started dating gas station guy or whatever.

Speaker 11 (45:30):
Never had an anniversary.

Speaker 6 (45:32):
Because so much secretive stuff going on. Brie, what's up?

Speaker 17 (45:35):
Bri?

Speaker 4 (45:37):
Hi?

Speaker 40 (45:37):
How are you good?

Speaker 6 (45:38):
Aren't you happy for Lydia?

Speaker 4 (45:41):
I am?

Speaker 18 (45:42):
I mean whatever makes her happy.

Speaker 40 (45:43):
I feel like as a woman who she have that choice.

Speaker 18 (45:45):
To go back as many times as you want. I'm
just gidding, that's terrible advice.

Speaker 7 (45:50):
I say, long as long as there's no physical or
mental abuse.

Speaker 6 (45:55):
I say go for it. Yeah, what's up?

Speaker 41 (45:58):
Yeah, well mine was mental and clearly you're going to
understand why because I'm you know, so, my daughter's dad
and I were dating for like one month, I got pregnant,
he bounced, I didn't hear from him. All of a sudden,
he came back saying, I want to be a dad again.

Speaker 44 (46:15):
Blah blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 22 (46:16):
I hit that relationship, Andy did it again.

Speaker 18 (46:20):
So sometimes don't go back.

Speaker 7 (46:24):
Yeah, well okay, so yeah you you, you, by the way,
need to you need to stay away from from all
that all that drama.

Speaker 6 (46:33):
That's not good.

Speaker 41 (46:34):
Oh yeah, he's completely blocked and.

Speaker 43 (46:36):
Yeah we're good.

Speaker 6 (46:39):
Hold on, let me grab Kaylee. Kaylee, are you there, Kaylee?

Speaker 13 (46:44):
I'm here, Hi, Kaylee.

Speaker 6 (46:45):
What do you think of Lydia's situation here? Kaylee?

Speaker 19 (46:50):
Well, I had two comments.

Speaker 18 (46:51):
Part one. I lost my fiance last year to cancer.

Speaker 19 (46:56):
And I guess my thoughts on it are is that
you get very few opportunities in life to find that
deep seated love. And if she's been feeling it and
hasn't stopped thinking about him for all this time, my
vote is the hell is what people think it is
your life get that love, girl.

Speaker 18 (47:16):
Yeah, you only get one life.

Speaker 7 (47:18):
That's beautiful, that's beautiful. We're sorry to hear about your fiance.
That's awful, that's just that horrible.

Speaker 19 (47:23):
You well, yeah, I mean it's definitely something that's drastically
impacted my life. But you know, I guess my second
comment to this was, I actually do have a new boyfriend.

Speaker 18 (47:38):
There's a lot of people with the winds about that.

Speaker 7 (47:42):
So are you keeping him secret? Because don't want people
thinking you're moving on too fast?

Speaker 19 (47:46):
I'm you know, initially I did have that that feeling,
but now we've been very open and very public, like
I post him on my socials and like he's absolutely amazing.

Speaker 28 (47:58):
He truly is.

Speaker 19 (47:59):
And on the side, no, it is still okay to
ask a girl to be your girlfriend. Because I am
thirty five. My boyfriend is now forty seven, and he
asked me directly to be his girlfriend.

Speaker 22 (48:09):
Ye, that's a little thing.

Speaker 6 (48:10):
Yeah, no, I agree, Yeah, I disagree on that one,
But that's okay. I think, you know, but I think
that you guys are dating. You guys are dating.

Speaker 7 (48:19):
I think it's good you guys is as long as
you know there's not other people in there. You guys
can take that as dating, and I'm happy to see
that you're doing well. That's good for you. Get up
on that horse again. Okay, ride that thing absolutely, hold on.
I'm sorry I disconnected by it from you. I didn't
know what you're gonna say.

Speaker 6 (48:36):
But Kelly also, Kelly also says that you have to
have the exclusive talk. Is that right, Kelly, Yes, you
have to have.

Speaker 12 (48:44):
The exclusive SoC especially with Lydia knowing what she wants
and he knows. I mean, I remember hearing about their
breaking up last time.

Speaker 19 (48:54):
He knows what she wants.

Speaker 20 (48:56):
So as long as he's on board.

Speaker 6 (48:58):
With it, maybe call me and do it on the show.
What do you think?

Speaker 40 (49:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (49:04):
I think he should, But then we can really have
our conversations in text.

Speaker 18 (49:09):
Yeah you know, Yeah, No, I think he.

Speaker 12 (49:13):
For sure, especially knowing her family, he for sure needs
to do that. I mean, my husband and I broke
up in one till eight. Well, he wasn't my husband,
he was my boyfriend. We broke up from one got
together back together in.

Speaker 45 (49:26):
O nine, but I moved from Michigan back to California,
and so it took a lot before I could tell
my parents that we were dating again. And he had
to come to my parents and say these are my
intentions and I will not do what I did the
you know which chapter one?

Speaker 7 (49:46):
Yeah, so yeah, maybe Lydia's gas station guy needs to
sit down with me and her dad at the same time.

Speaker 11 (49:53):
I think he would.

Speaker 7 (49:54):
That would be kind of fun, wouldn't it your your
real dad and your your work dad sit down. I'd
be like sitting there, going, George, I don't know what
do you say?

Speaker 11 (50:04):
You don't understand?

Speaker 6 (50:05):
Should should we take them out back?

Speaker 7 (50:08):
All of a sudden, they're speaking kaldy into each other,
and I'm like, going, I don't understand a word of
what you guys are saying right now?

Speaker 6 (50:14):
What's up? Barbara?

Speaker 43 (50:17):
Hey, how are you?

Speaker 6 (50:19):
What's going on?

Speaker 7 (50:20):
You wanted to make a comment on Lydia's situation and
why Lydia's boyfriend's sister's friends didn't like Lydia.

Speaker 32 (50:30):
Yes, yeah, is it a possibility that he may have
had sex with one of.

Speaker 11 (50:37):
Her friends and I don't like her he didn't.

Speaker 6 (50:40):
Let's not go there.

Speaker 8 (50:43):
I mean, I can see what you're saying because that.

Speaker 32 (50:48):
Siblings always talk to their friends or try to talk
to their friends first, or maybe he just you know,
may have had sex with one of the friends.

Speaker 3 (50:56):
I never told them.

Speaker 6 (50:58):
Would that not be amazing?

Speaker 4 (50:59):
That would not Oh you know what, at this point,
past is in the past. We're moving forward.

Speaker 9 (51:04):
We're only looking forward.

Speaker 6 (51:13):
He told you that didn't happen, Lydia.

Speaker 11 (51:15):
Oh, that was never even a thought. He wouldn't touch
her with the tom footpoll.

Speaker 6 (51:20):
My god, all right, we did actually yeah, all right.

Speaker 7 (51:29):
By the way, by the way, we've just put some
kind of thing in the mix here right now. I
don't know it's gonna I don't want to cause drama
for you, Lydia.

Speaker 6 (51:37):
Let's let's just move.

Speaker 11 (51:38):
Who cares, It's fine.

Speaker 7 (51:39):
We'll just have Lydia happy with gas station guy. We're
very excited about that, all right.

Speaker 6 (51:44):
Coming up next jingle Ball tickets and coming up.

Speaker 5 (51:47):
Later in the show, Mojo interviews Justin Bieber and Shared
Goff on Moo in the Morning. He's not really just
seeing if you're paying attention.

Speaker 4 (51:56):
This is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (52:03):
Ghosted in October a festiv.

Speaker 9 (52:06):
Is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 7 (52:08):
Hey, we got second date update coming up in less
than an hour from now.

Speaker 19 (52:12):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (52:12):
Plus, Lydia says a nice little surprise for the show
coming up here in just a little bit.

Speaker 6 (52:18):
That will be fun. I like surprises. God.

Speaker 7 (52:20):
I hope it's somebody to come fix our HVAC system.
If they do that, I'll be happy because I got
to be honest. I put only one layer of my dove.
Men'sh's gone.

Speaker 9 (52:31):
Oh I have a fresh stick in person.

Speaker 4 (52:33):
It's open, so you could I.

Speaker 6 (52:36):
Like to are you are you sweating?

Speaker 22 (52:37):
Ye?

Speaker 37 (52:38):
Do, because that's the bands so you can feel like
the sweat rolling on your side.

Speaker 7 (52:41):
I've been pretty good lately about making sure that we
opened that door up a little bit, and so far
I haven't hit that yet. I haven't had sweat, but
I'm about to sweat when we give away more jingle
ball tickets. All right, this works me up in the morning,
giving away jingle ball tickets H eight four four Mojoe
Live eight four four six six five six five four eight.
It's funny talking about this, And yet you wake up

(53:02):
this morning, you walk outside. It's the coldest morning that
we've had since last winter. I mean it is a
thirty something degree time right now, so you're definitely gonna
not be able to walk outside without at least some
layer on. Why is it the kids never want to
wear a coat.

Speaker 4 (53:18):
I please, got let me understand this.

Speaker 7 (53:20):
But it doesn't make a difference. What you know, generation
these kids are. No kid wants to put a coat
on it.

Speaker 4 (53:27):
I actually said to my son Smith, who's in second grade,
over the weekend, Hey, I think we got to get
you a new coat because you've grown so much. It's like,
I don't even wear a coat anyway.

Speaker 9 (53:35):
I'm like, I'm buying you a coat.

Speaker 7 (53:36):
And it's funny because I don't know if when they
go to school, if they all of a sudden just
like go out and play recess, Like do the teachers
let them go outside with no coats on? Because I'm
not a coat guy. And Chelsea yells at me all
the time when I talk about the kids in their coats.
If I go to a concert or a game, I
don't want to sit in there. First off, I can't
barely fit in the seat.

Speaker 4 (53:55):
It's different though, you're going to be inside. These kids
at school, they do go out for recent two or
three times a day.

Speaker 7 (54:01):
Do they send them out if you don't have a coat,
Do they still let you go outside without a coda?

Speaker 6 (54:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (54:09):
I remember them making us put it on, at least
for me. We had to always put it on, but
it would come right off. Yeah, once we went out
there and started playing around.

Speaker 7 (54:16):
We would lose coats in school all the time too,
like our kids, Like we'd go to school at the
end of the year and it would be like, there's
seven north Face jackets. I'm like, I didn't even know
we owned seven north Face jackets.

Speaker 14 (54:27):
Two in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 6 (54:29):
All right, Shannon with what's trending in the Dirty on
the thirties?

Speaker 4 (54:32):
I mean Katie Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin
Trudeau making their first public appearance as a.

Speaker 9 (54:40):
Couple this past Saturday.

Speaker 4 (54:42):
And the paparazzi was just eating it up because there
they are holding hands, so there's no denying that they're
an item while leaving a cabaret.

Speaker 9 (54:51):
So at the.

Speaker 4 (54:52):
Very famous you okay crazy Hors cabaret in Paris, they
were there to celebrate Katie's forty four birthday, got into
a car together, of course, so it is on. It
is official.

Speaker 6 (55:06):
He looks more delicate than she does, Like I was
watching that.

Speaker 4 (55:09):
Well, it's funny because she leads him yeah to the
car everywhere and he's like, he looks like he doesn't
know what to do, Like he's he's kind of.

Speaker 9 (55:16):
Like like you were at the PM, you've been in
front of a camera.

Speaker 37 (55:19):
Maybe he's more submissive with his lady. Maybe she's the dominante.

Speaker 6 (55:22):
I don't know. I think she might be making it roaring. Yeah,
how old is he?

Speaker 9 (55:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (55:29):
She just turned forty and you asked her how old
he is?

Speaker 6 (55:32):
He doesn't, do you?

Speaker 40 (55:33):
No?

Speaker 7 (55:33):
I wonder, Yeah, well that's the thing. I wonder, what
when I heard that she was just forty fifty three? Okay,
thirty three? Okay, that's all right, that's okay, good.

Speaker 6 (55:41):
Yeah, you're probably stepping on his back right now.

Speaker 4 (55:44):
Yeah, speaking of couples real quick, Megan Fox and Machine
Gun Kelly acting like a couple again, spending lots of
time together. MGK spends pretty much every single night at
Meghan's house with their baby, which okay, I love that.
But they have not officially labeled the relationship or meet
things official, but time will tell.

Speaker 7 (56:01):
Here they have we have that relationships never breaking up
is like in and out of each other's lives, you know.

Speaker 4 (56:10):
Yeah, days ahead of Halloween, parents who are scrambling cannot,
for the life of them find K Pop Demon Hunter's
costumes for their kids. And the reason was Netflix did
not Nobody really anticipated the popularity that this movie was
going to take on, so they didn't make a lot

(56:32):
of costumes and the ones that are available right now
and my kids both have their costumes. But when I
was researching this story this morning, I just wanted to
check some of these costumes that are left are expensive.
The yellow jacket that Roomy wears in the movie, ninety dollars. Wow,
is what it's going to cost you. I'd be like,
we're going to pick something else for helloweens? Yeah, ninety

(56:53):
dollars for just a piece of the costume.

Speaker 6 (56:55):
Yeah, I'm not.

Speaker 7 (56:57):
I find it's so funny when I see that people
are wearing and that as a costume to like parties.
Over the weekend, I saw a couple of different people
post some pictures. You know what the big costume was
this weekend, ed Gean the Monster. Everybody was wearing the mask,
which looked like you were wearing a person's skin over
your face.

Speaker 4 (57:16):
I could not get past the first episode of that show.
It creeped me out so bad.

Speaker 7 (57:20):
My favorite is you Got to watch it only for
the TikTok you know, memes and jokes that are coming
out afterwards.

Speaker 6 (57:27):
People are having their dogs be part of it.

Speaker 7 (57:30):
People are putting to make it look like it's skin
over your face, like a person's skin, tortillas.

Speaker 6 (57:36):
Oh my god, hysterical, Oh my god, Oh my god.
And then they're using the going drinking, you know that
great line in that movie.

Speaker 4 (57:46):
And did you guys see the update over the weekend
in this Louver heist, they arrested to people. Two suspects,
both men in their thirties, both known to police already,
were arrested on Saturday in connection with the theft of
France's crown jewels from the very famous Louver museum. And
one of them was attempting to leave the country excuse
me when he got busted. Those jewels, by the way,

(58:07):
worth tens and tens of million, hundreds, I think of
millions of dollars. But authorities tracked down the suspects by
using their DNA. They say at least two other people
suspected of being involved in the heist remain at large,
so they got some of them, they're still looking for others.
I absolutely love because I keep saying, this reminds me

(58:28):
of like the Ocean's eleven or Oceans twelve movies. Somebody
asked George Clooney about this over the weekend.

Speaker 5 (58:33):
I mean, they seem to have done pretty good job
of getting.

Speaker 6 (58:35):
Away with seven minutes.

Speaker 14 (58:37):
You know.

Speaker 5 (58:37):
So I watched the felt with them coming down the
and you said you should be in the bucket. Yeah,
it was cool though, I mean, yeah cool. I mean
it's terrible, but I mean, if.

Speaker 4 (58:48):
You're a professional thief like I am, right, I was
very proud of this guy.

Speaker 15 (58:52):
Is it wild though?

Speaker 6 (58:53):
To see like when the major news organization of reporting
on Todd It's just like Ocean.

Speaker 10 (58:58):
Yeah, I mean it's pretty funny because it really was
like in the middle of broad daylight crazy.

Speaker 4 (59:04):
Actually, like I'm proud of them.

Speaker 7 (59:05):
The better example was the what was the other movie
that we talked about with the Thomas Thomas Crown affairs.

Speaker 4 (59:10):
I've never seen that movie. Good movie right now?

Speaker 3 (59:14):
Okay, I bet you we see some Robbers for Halloween too.

Speaker 4 (59:21):
All right, have you missed anything from today's so you

Get more Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 14 (59:27):
Dot Com Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 6 (59:31):
I do love by the way that people are texting
us when we talk about Katy Perry and saying, Katy.

Speaker 7 (59:36):
Perry is John ben A Ramsey. Do you ever have
you ever heard that conspiracy that they think that Katy
Perry is John ben A Ramsey as an adult? That
is honestly, don't come on, I'm telling you those conspiracy
theories out there with side picture.

Speaker 6 (59:54):
Caitlin, You're a winner. Caitlin.

Speaker 7 (59:59):
We're gonna set you up with jingle Ball tickets. You're
going to see Nellie on December the nine.

Speaker 18 (01:00:04):
Yeah, I cannot wait.

Speaker 7 (01:00:06):
We're excited for your congratulations to you. I want you
to hang on the phone for a second. Okay, you
are so welcome, hang on one second. More jingle Ball
tickets coming up in an hour. And everybody that goes
to jingle Ball, whether you win from us like Caitlin
just did, or if you buy tickets at ticketmaster dot com,
you are in the running for a brand new seventy
thousand dollars SUV that we're given away that night. It

(01:00:28):
is a summit place Kia EV nine, so you could
win that thing. It's Mojoe in the morning. So I
want to do a couple of topics here right now
before our special guest comes in. Our special surprise guest
comes in close the door, so I don't get so
I don't blow my surprise. I guess there's a little
surprise coming here in just a couple and I know

(01:00:49):
that i'll hear the surprise before I see the surprise.
And I don't even want to hear it. It's like
I don't want to hear Sama walking in right. So
this weekend went up to Michigan State for the Michigan
State Michigan game in East Lansing, and I did something
that is really smart. I want you to try this
thing out. I hitchhiked. Have you ever hitched piked?

Speaker 32 (01:01:09):
More?

Speaker 7 (01:01:10):
I want to talk about first off, anybody ever hitchhike before?
I want you to call us up like thumb out
on the side of the road, kind of well, not
really thumb out, phone out. I'm going to explain this
to you. So went up to the game. Chelsea and
I were driving and I explained to Chelsea, I go, hey,
we're going to park at the Starbucks in Okamus that's
on that first exit there before you get into East Lansing,

(01:01:34):
and I said, we're going to park there and we're
going to uber to Luke's fraternity house because the traffic
is a mess for this game and they close off
every single street, normal streets and normal games they don't
need if this is such a big game that that's
their thing because they have so much more tailgating going on.

Speaker 6 (01:01:52):
So she's like, Okay, that's cool, so we do it.

Speaker 7 (01:01:55):
We go and she's like, that was actually really smart
of you, honey, You're the greatest husband in the world.
Didn't say this, but in my head she was saying
this as we were in this uber driving to the
you know, the frat house. And so we hung out
of the frat house for a little bit. And I
don't know how it was for you and West and
the kids, but if you try to use your phone
around campus, you couldn't even get a signal.

Speaker 4 (01:02:16):
It was.

Speaker 9 (01:02:17):
That was crazy.

Speaker 7 (01:02:18):
So we are, you know, we're there, and I'm trying
to text even you guys like pictures of ass juice
and stuff like that, and I couldn't see them go through.
They kept going failed, failed, failed, So I'm like, oh crap,
this is going to suck when we leave here and
we try to get an uber out. So we get
out of the party. We go to the front at
his frat house and I go to grab my phone

(01:02:39):
and I cannot load Uber on my phone. Oh and
I am looking at this thing, going what's going on?
And I don't know if you guys do this? And
I got my phone here to show you on video
when your phone's not working.

Speaker 6 (01:02:50):
Do you ever just pulled it up?

Speaker 4 (01:02:51):
Yes, that all the time, like that's gonna help, But
to put it two feet in the air and.

Speaker 7 (01:02:56):
You're like, I'm putting one arm up in the air
like I'm seeing, like if there's an end, and I'm
trying to do this thing. So I had my hand
up in the air and I'm doing this and this
guy pulls up in a white Ford expedition okay, pulls
up in a white Ford expedition, rolls the window down
and go everything okay.

Speaker 6 (01:03:17):
And I look at him and I go, hey, would
you give us a ride? And I literally asked this
guy and it turns out he was a Michigan fan.
Go Blue, I'll be a Michigan fan because you gave
me a ride. Wearing a Jim Harbaugh, Jersey. He's from
East Point.

Speaker 7 (01:03:33):
He was coming up to watch the games with his buddies,
and he got up early to tailgate, and he literally
drove us. And I gave the guy some money to
drive us to the car, so I officially didn't hitchhike
because I didn't have my thumb out.

Speaker 6 (01:03:47):
Did you still hold your thumb when.

Speaker 9 (01:03:48):
You're hitch with this or was she like what are
you doing?

Speaker 7 (01:03:52):
Honestly, Chelsea was in a mood where she was willing
to try anything.

Speaker 6 (01:03:56):
She was ready to go. Yeah, I said to her,
I go, this might.

Speaker 7 (01:03:59):
Be ed Gean right now. We're going to his barn,
his house to see mother.

Speaker 6 (01:04:05):
He's like, I think we should go on this week. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:04:09):
It was wild though, because I normally would never be
the type of person that would get in a car
by myself.

Speaker 6 (01:04:14):
But I also figured I'm not really by myself.

Speaker 7 (01:04:17):
I'll get in with Chelse and then at least if
they murder anybody, they'll get her first and then me second.
If he's by the way, if he's listening. This guy
was great. He's Palestinian. He was like, such a good guy.
We drove the whole way. He said, he listened to
the show. It was cool.

Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
Do you think he initially recognized you or was he
just trying to help.

Speaker 7 (01:04:39):
Here's the funniest thing is that he like shout out
the show. He knew right away, like, and I think
that was it was cool. It was nice enough to
give the ride.

Speaker 6 (01:04:49):
Keith. Are you there, Keith?

Speaker 44 (01:04:51):
Yeah, we're here.

Speaker 6 (01:04:52):
What's Who's were?

Speaker 29 (01:04:54):
Me and the kids?

Speaker 7 (01:04:56):
Hey guys, Oh wait a second, and you're gonna tell
us a story here that we don't want your kids
to ever do you know?

Speaker 46 (01:05:02):
Actually they're a part of it, you know, their mother
and when we split up, they that's how we end
up splitting up. I got back to our condo in
Port Austin. Beds were made backpack on the bed and I, oh, man,
I'm in trouble. So how am I going to get home? Well,
I guess I gotta walk. So try to call an
uber and no ubers would come get me in Port Austin.

(01:05:24):
So I said, well, it's time to start walking. So
I started walking nine and a half hours on my
Google Walk and I walked and hitchhiked all the way
to Flint before I could get it.

Speaker 6 (01:05:36):
In the uber to get home. Wait, explain to me Austin, where's.

Speaker 18 (01:05:42):
Port Austin, right in the sum of Michigan.

Speaker 7 (01:05:44):
You were up in the thumb and you went all
the way from there to walk.

Speaker 46 (01:05:48):
To sixty nine in Flint. Yeah, I thinking about nine hours.
I used Google Walk luckily at a battery on my
turn it off and turning it on, and then I
just held my soul out and I got about five
rides for about a couple of miles each. You helped
me out on a lot of walking.

Speaker 6 (01:06:09):
You tell those kids, do not kids, kids, do not
try this at home.

Speaker 7 (01:06:16):
You do not want to do this. Do not get
in a car with a strange person. Your dad's nuts.

Speaker 40 (01:06:22):
I am not.

Speaker 46 (01:06:23):
Let me tell you I got home before they got home.

Speaker 7 (01:06:26):
Oh my gosh, what's crazy. That is a crazy story.
Have a great day and score.

Speaker 6 (01:06:31):
Guys, Keith and kids. Have a great day, buddy. What's up, Bridget?
How you doing?

Speaker 28 (01:06:42):
Hey?

Speaker 13 (01:06:43):
How are you good?

Speaker 6 (01:06:44):
What's going on?

Speaker 18 (01:06:46):
So?

Speaker 26 (01:06:46):
I went to.

Speaker 23 (01:06:47):
Bash at the Bay and Lake Erie two years ago
when Jelly Roll was playing.

Speaker 18 (01:06:51):
And the way their venue.

Speaker 24 (01:06:52):
Is set up is this like a three mile walk
from the actual stage to the little town where all
the bars are.

Speaker 6 (01:06:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 24 (01:06:58):
So at the end of this answer, we start just following.
People have no idea where we are, and I'm like,
you know what, freak this, I'm going to turn my
cell phone light on and stick it out in the
road because there's a bunch of people driving down the
road in golf carts and we get picked up by
these two drunk old ladies that take us to a
bar and start buying them drinks.

Speaker 6 (01:07:20):
Oh my god, it's time.

Speaker 3 (01:07:22):
Wow, it was a good time.

Speaker 18 (01:07:24):
It was so much fun.

Speaker 24 (01:07:25):
And that's a great way to meet people.

Speaker 7 (01:07:27):
I hear all the time that people will hitchhike around
festivals like that happens. And what's the country festival out
in faster horses? Yeah, the faster horses. There's a lot
of that going on. Lauren, are you there?

Speaker 28 (01:07:42):
I'm here.

Speaker 6 (01:07:43):
What's up, Lauren? You hitchhiked?

Speaker 20 (01:07:48):
I did not intentionally, but I had to and I
had two well, there was two nurses in a car
and I was I could see the exit, but thank
goodness of the summertime, so I reluctantly got in the
backseat of their car and they're like, it's okay, you
can trust us.

Speaker 18 (01:08:06):
You know, we're nurses.

Speaker 20 (01:08:07):
The uh female one was a male nurse, and they
showed me their badge. But in the whole backseat, I mean,
we're talking bundles and pieces of meat, oh my god, everywhere,
and I'm looking and I'm like, there's a lot of
meat here, and I'm like, is this like real me?

Speaker 43 (01:08:29):
Is this human?

Speaker 20 (01:08:31):
I have no idea, right, it was dark, so I
had no idea, and I was just praying, please actually
take me to the exit and let me out of
this vehicle immediately.

Speaker 4 (01:08:44):
Also, when you have a lot of explanation, including the
showing of badges and the comment of it's okay, you
can trust us.

Speaker 5 (01:08:55):
It was dark.

Speaker 20 (01:08:56):
It was, you know, on the expressway. I didn't know
where to go. I was just I was freaking out.
I just wanted to get there. And what I mean,
I had to sit on a bundle.

Speaker 3 (01:09:05):
Oh my god, how much there was in the deck
of his car.

Speaker 47 (01:09:09):
It was so and it smelled.

Speaker 6 (01:09:11):
Oh my god, it was bad. It was bad.

Speaker 15 (01:09:14):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (01:09:14):
I would definitely would have thought I was dead. Uh
is it malade?

Speaker 18 (01:09:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 44 (01:09:20):
That's me.

Speaker 13 (01:09:22):
Do you know they're they're gonna get rid of you
first man, Between you and Chelsea, you're the big Burley
Dad that's gonna put up a fight.

Speaker 6 (01:09:29):
So they'd kill me first. If if I got killed,
Oh yeah, for sure, You're the one that they got
to worry about, not some cute little woman.

Speaker 7 (01:09:39):
So Chelsea would have been the one that survived that.
And if if something happened, I.

Speaker 13 (01:09:46):
Mean, she wouldn't have been first.

Speaker 42 (01:09:47):
I don't know if I survived.

Speaker 7 (01:09:51):
What would have happened if we got into the car
and all of a sudden the doors lock like cop cars,
you know, or it puts a childlike locks on.

Speaker 6 (01:09:59):
But he was a really nice Yeah, all right, one
and done on the dating game.

Speaker 14 (01:10:04):
Why no second date? Second date update happens at a
twenty Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 6 (01:10:09):
It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 7 (01:10:10):
Now, Shannon, you were up in East Lancing for the
Michigan State game in Michigan Michigan State game and you
lost your husband.

Speaker 4 (01:10:18):
I sure did. Yeah, Wes and I went and we
took Lucy and Smith with us to the game. And
we love going because Kieran, my stepson, is a cheerleader
for Michigan State, so we of course wanted to see
the game, but really we went to see him cheer
and we were sitting in the section where he was cheering,
but we were probably I don't know, fifteen or twenty

(01:10:40):
rows back, so we had a view of him.

Speaker 9 (01:10:43):
It wasn't the greatest to you.

Speaker 4 (01:10:45):
And I'm like, I'm watching the game with the kids,
we're taking pictures, we're eating, we're drinking, and at one
point I noticed all of a sudden that Wes was
just not sitting. It was me, the two kids in
between us, and then Wes on the aisle, and I thought, oh,
he probably went to try to like a better closer
photo or video of Kieran cheering.

Speaker 6 (01:11:03):
No big deal.

Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
Ten minutes goes by, maybe twenty minutes goes by from
the time that I noticed that he's not there anymore.
Half hour goes by, and Smith and Lucy are looking
at me and they're like, Mama, where did West go?
I said, I, honest to God, have no idea. I
thought he went to take a picture of Kieren. But
maybe he went to like get food or but he
had been gone for a really long time. All of

(01:11:27):
a sudden, in my pocket, I can feel my phone
blowing up. Text message after text message after text message.
I take my phone out of my pocket and apparently
what had happened was he went down to the front
row of the section, made some friends with the people
that were sitting in that front row, was taking photos

(01:11:47):
and videos, but ended up on NBC showing off his Michigan.

Speaker 9 (01:11:52):
State cheerleading shirt.

Speaker 4 (01:11:54):
He's like doing this little like wiggle and like, first off,
what was that move that you were doing? But second
I lost to him. NBC found him, and everybody was
texting me about it.

Speaker 6 (01:12:04):
So people were texting.

Speaker 4 (01:12:06):
You screenshots and videos Wes on TV.

Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
I saw it was so good.

Speaker 9 (01:12:13):
I had so many listeners.

Speaker 4 (01:12:15):
By the way, if you d MD it to me
or sent it to me, I was dying because he
I mean, he's like front and center.

Speaker 6 (01:12:21):
That is funny things. So you're so you're wondering where he's.

Speaker 4 (01:12:25):
At, Where the hell he is.

Speaker 6 (01:12:26):
He's in the best seeds on TV.

Speaker 2 (01:12:28):
Number one thing.

Speaker 4 (01:12:32):
They're showing the game, They're showing the crowd. I go,
first off, you ditched us, And he had no idea.
He comes back to the seats and I looked at him.
I go, well, you are all of a sudden famous
on NBC right now. He had no idea, no clue,
that's no idea, Oh my god.

Speaker 9 (01:12:52):
And to your point. It's funny.

Speaker 4 (01:12:55):
My service was very spotty all day, but especially in
the stadium, so like some of my texts were going through,
some of them were, but all of a sudden everything
came through.

Speaker 6 (01:13:03):
Yeah, that is so, that is so fun. Did he
so he had no clue that even the TV took him,
like he was just sitting there.

Speaker 7 (01:13:09):
Yes, but oh my god, that is great. That the
best part of that is the whole time you're wondering.

Speaker 4 (01:13:16):
Where the hat is, right, because you'll lot get food
for the kids. You know, they like constantly want can
we get can we get chips? Can we get food?

Speaker 6 (01:13:24):
In sports?

Speaker 29 (01:13:25):
Really?

Speaker 7 (01:13:26):
Michigan's Michigan States for food at the football games worst food.
You might as well honestly eat your hand. It's better.

Speaker 4 (01:13:33):
But really, he'll do that and he'll be back in
ten minutes, not even five minutes. Like he just goes
down and pops right back up. So like something was weird,
and yeah, how pissed.

Speaker 6 (01:13:44):
Would you be? He stayed there for.

Speaker 4 (01:13:47):
Like, well he was going to because the person he
was sitting next to, God, I wish he was awake.
He's not a week I don't think. But he was
sitting next to like a Michigan State football legend, some
guy who has up on the on the in the stadium.

Speaker 6 (01:14:00):
Oh my god, Yes, I.

Speaker 4 (01:14:01):
Was talking to him. I was talking to his wife.
They told me to just stay here, but I was like,
oh no, I better go get back to my family.
Who's way up there?

Speaker 6 (01:14:11):
Well, what's up, Blake? How you doing a right?

Speaker 5 (01:14:14):
Good morning guys?

Speaker 6 (01:14:14):
Good morning? What's happening?

Speaker 29 (01:14:17):
Yeah, I was watching am.

Speaker 13 (01:14:18):
I saying this decent looking man.

Speaker 47 (01:14:21):
I was like, oh my gosh, that's what I wonder
if he's gotta get talked about on Monday.

Speaker 7 (01:14:29):
Were you looking then? Did you did you DV DVR
have your you know, recorded there? Did you rewind to
see if you can see Shannon anywhere?

Speaker 32 (01:14:36):
No?

Speaker 6 (01:14:37):
I did not see her, because that's what I would
have done. If I saw it. I would have gone, oh,
I wonder where Shannon and the kids are and the
look I'd be like his new family.

Speaker 7 (01:14:45):
Can I tell you though, something when I go to games.
If I go to a game and I have like
friends that are in the front row and stuff, and
you're like sitting in maybe not the greatest of seeds.
If you have them call you, is it bad that
you would want to to stay there the rest of
the game.

Speaker 4 (01:15:00):
Especially so Emily we do that. So normally we have
the student athletes parents each get like a pair of
tickets or something, because we normally have really really great seats.
When it's just like Wes and I and the past
couple of games that we've taken the kids do a
lot of people around us don't show.

Speaker 9 (01:15:16):
Up, so we just stay there and there are spectacular seats.

Speaker 4 (01:15:18):
They're three rows from the field, but this time he
wanted to be where Kieran was cheering so we could
actually see him, and he wasn't anywhere near that section.
So that's why we bought tickets like far, I mean,
except for West at front row.

Speaker 6 (01:15:30):
But what's up, Sam? Hey, Hi, what's going on?

Speaker 22 (01:15:35):
Guys? Okay, first time, long time?

Speaker 13 (01:15:40):
Oh my god.

Speaker 22 (01:15:41):
Okay, So I was in Lexington this weekend and everyone
I'm not like the biggest football or like, you know, Michigan.
I'm a Michigan fan, but I'm not like big into football.
And I'm watching the TV and I'm with my girlfriend,
who doesn't she's not a listener unfortunately, but she's gone,
like there's what she's like, who you know? That guy
and I was like, no, that's Shannon's Hudson. She's like
what yeah, and uh yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:16:03):
Front and Center, yep, Front and Center, Shannon and the Bleeders.

Speaker 4 (01:16:08):
What was that movie he was doing?

Speaker 43 (01:16:10):
Why?

Speaker 3 (01:16:11):
Why?

Speaker 2 (01:16:11):
No?

Speaker 22 (01:16:11):
I thought he was swinging like a towel around his
head like he was just into it.

Speaker 6 (01:16:15):
Though, I mean, has he ever been a stripper? Because
that was kind of I asked him that often. What's
up Kimberly?

Speaker 43 (01:16:21):
Hello? Hello, Hi? Yeah, I saw him too.

Speaker 16 (01:16:25):
I was watching the name with my husband and then
I'm like, oh wait, I think that was Wes. He's
like who we were rebounding. I'm like, that's gotta be him,
and you know, he's like, Okay.

Speaker 6 (01:16:35):
Let me ask you this.

Speaker 7 (01:16:36):
If your husband left you for a period of time,
like Shannon was saying, and you heard that he was
down in the front row on television when he got back,
would you be excited to show him he was on
television OR'd you be like, what the f were you
doing for so long?

Speaker 43 (01:16:50):
Both?

Speaker 16 (01:16:50):
I'd be upset that I wasn't next to And I
think I saw Kieran two. I was looking about for him.

Speaker 9 (01:16:56):
Yeah, he was a few times.

Speaker 7 (01:16:57):
Yeah, it's funny because so when he does the games,
when Karen does the games, does he do all the
games or how do they work that?

Speaker 4 (01:17:04):
How does Cheerlead's done all of them? I think except
for one so far. I don't know how they decide
where you go, like who gets what?

Speaker 6 (01:17:12):
Do you do basketball too?

Speaker 4 (01:17:13):
I don't know. I'm not sure. He does a lot
of volleyball right now, and then he does football.

Speaker 6 (01:17:17):
That's awesome. That is such a cool thing.

Speaker 4 (01:17:20):
I don't think he's traveled yet. That's usually like the
the people who have been on the team a bit longer.
Who gets to do that?

Speaker 7 (01:17:26):
But I was watching Channel four and they did a
story on our local station wd IV, and it was
a really good story about the Sparty.

Speaker 6 (01:17:35):
There was a couple three four years ago.

Speaker 7 (01:17:38):
I guess the SPARTI was a woman who she met
her husband or boyfriend or whatever it was. I wasn't
watching that closely. Who is on the basketball team or
one of the basketball managers. And I did not know
that when you're sparty, you cannot tell anybody that you're sparty.
And the way that people find out is when you
graduate you wear the feet.

Speaker 4 (01:17:58):
Ye, there's always a few there's a few sarties.

Speaker 6 (01:18:02):
What's up? What's up? Stacy?

Speaker 47 (01:18:04):
Oh Hi, how are you good?

Speaker 6 (01:18:06):
What's going on?

Speaker 14 (01:18:08):
So?

Speaker 31 (01:18:08):
I my parents live in Florida and I got a
video of my husband at tailgate who brought our children there,
and they were not in the video?

Speaker 3 (01:18:23):
Did yeap?

Speaker 31 (01:18:26):
He made national news in Florida and he sent them
to the whatever the chicken places and whatever is right
there and he just let them go on their own.
And they're fourteen and thirteen.

Speaker 6 (01:18:41):
Oh my god.

Speaker 7 (01:18:43):
One of my favorite calls we ever had Stacy on
our show was the person who got caught cheating at
arts Beats and Needs when they showed a picture of
people walking on arts beats and eats and the husband
of this woman was walking holding hands with his mistress
and they were the file footage on television.

Speaker 6 (01:19:01):
That a way did you imagine?

Speaker 31 (01:19:04):
I mean, it's so funny because my mom goes, I think,
what a way to go?

Speaker 6 (01:19:13):
Yeah, that would be crazy. Thank you for the call.
I appreciate it.

Speaker 14 (01:19:22):
Too.

Speaker 2 (01:19:23):
Mojo in the morning, Mojo.

Speaker 3 (01:19:25):
He's amazing.

Speaker 6 (01:19:29):
I can see who it is.

Speaker 13 (01:19:34):
My god, I don't think.

Speaker 6 (01:19:39):
Let me take go back to the beginning.

Speaker 3 (01:19:41):
Is alrighty ready you're listening to Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 6 (01:19:45):
You're a Dodo ahead. I gotta get appropriate music for
our guests that just walked in studio. Ladies and gentlemen,
Hold on, I got I think I got it. I
got something for you. Here we go, Trek Trek, Welcome
to Detroit. We got had phones for him, Ladies and gentlemen.
A special guest that Lydia wouldn't tell me who it was,

(01:20:08):
the Mayor of the City of Detroit, Mayor Mike.

Speaker 3 (01:20:14):
Or the Morning Joe.

Speaker 7 (01:20:16):
Do you when you walk around, mister Mayor, does Welcome
to Detroit from Trick Trick and Eminem just start playing
anywhere you go.

Speaker 6 (01:20:22):
You know, it's maybe a new tradition.

Speaker 22 (01:20:25):
I like that.

Speaker 6 (01:20:26):
Wow, what do we have?

Speaker 38 (01:20:30):
I'm down to my last few weeks in the job,
and there has been something I've been meaning to get.

Speaker 6 (01:20:37):
To for a while, and I'm doing this in my
closing weeks.

Speaker 38 (01:20:41):
And so uh to the host of the longest running
FM show in Michigan radio history, a member of the
Michigan Radio Hall of Fame, whose studio is right here
in Eastern Market and Detroit Mojo, I'm pleased to present
to you the Key to the City.

Speaker 43 (01:21:05):
Let's go. Let's go.

Speaker 14 (01:21:10):
That is a key.

Speaker 4 (01:21:12):
That's a real key.

Speaker 6 (01:21:14):
Look at the pictures they chose to, like child pictures
and everything.

Speaker 2 (01:21:19):
This is unbelievable.

Speaker 42 (01:21:20):
Wow.

Speaker 14 (01:21:21):
That is.

Speaker 2 (01:21:24):
History.

Speaker 38 (01:21:26):
Is that in medieval times, Uh, the only the most
trusted people people actually lived up in castles behind walls
that had a key that unlocked the city, and only
the most trusted members of the city would leave the
city with the key. And so the last two I
presented this too were Aretha Franklin and Big Sean.

Speaker 6 (01:21:47):
Wow. Congratulations.

Speaker 7 (01:21:50):
Well, boy, I got to tell you, I don't know
if I'm trusted, but honestly, I love this city so much.
And man, this is unberle Uh. Thursday at the Radio
Hall of Fame induction, I was writing my speech. I
was talking about how in the speech and I'm going

(01:22:11):
to talk about that how Detroit Radio is the best
radio in the world. Radio was founded in Detroit, I mean,
with JP McCarthy and Dick Pertin and you know all
the legends that have been here, drewing Mike and it's just,
honestly to me, this is such an honor. Mayor, Thank
you so much, and from a guy that I got

(01:22:33):
to tell you something. I respect the hell out of you.
You took over this job when I don't know why
you would. They were going through bankruptcy, and this city
is thriving and it is just, honestly on a path
that I've never seen before in my life. Thank you
for what you've done to the city of Detroit, and
you're leaving it in such capable, great hands to whoever

(01:22:53):
it is that wins this next election.

Speaker 38 (01:22:55):
Well, I love the fact You're radio network is here
at Eastern Market. You've helped bring life back to this place.
I hope you enjoy being in the city.

Speaker 6 (01:23:02):
It's so funny. Can I tell you Something'm gona put
this right here.

Speaker 7 (01:23:05):
So when I started in Detroit, look at all these
people that are he Jeb, my wife Chelsea came in.
All these are great salespeople and everybody. Can I tell
you something. When I first took this job, I was
moving from Arizona.

Speaker 6 (01:23:20):
I'm a Chicago kid, so Detroit was not the friendliest
place to go to because being a Chicago Bulls fan, obviously,
and I moved to Detroit, and I said something to
the general manager at the time, Steve Shram, I'm like,
why is our radio station in Oak Park, Michigan, Like,
I don't understand that.

Speaker 7 (01:23:40):
And he said to me, he goes, well, you know
the city and all this suastart going through this whole thing.
This is twenty five years ago, twenty six years ago.
And Bob Pittman, who's our CEO, who if you've never
met Bob, Bob created MTVVH one, AOL everything. Bob Pittman
used to be on wdr QE back in the day.

(01:24:01):
He was a DJ on WDRQ. And Bob Pittman came
to visit Detroit in General Motors to sit down with
this this Mary Barr and the CEO of General Motors,
and I went with him to this we're driving. He goes,
it is to me ridiculous that we have Detroit radio
stations not in the city of Detroit. We are moving

(01:24:21):
our stations to the city of Detroit. And he made
that his mission. And we are so happy to be
down here. We're so blessed. It wouldn't be possible if
it wasn't for you. Congratulations, Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:24:32):
How are you doing? Things are good now? So packing
up the boxes? Are you really getting ready to move?

Speaker 14 (01:24:39):
So?

Speaker 7 (01:24:39):
Wait, so do you like is there a time that
you have to be out of the minoguean mansion? Like,
do you have to be out by a certain day?

Speaker 38 (01:24:47):
I think my successor has been by to make sure
I'm on my way. But December thirty first, I'm out
and my wife Sonya and I will be renting a
place for a year book Cattle Black stay in downtown Detroit.
Depends they on what the voters decide. I might have
residents at Lanstic so wow. So we're going to rent

(01:25:07):
for the next year in Detroit and travel the state.

Speaker 4 (01:25:10):
Do you leave anything in the minougian for whomever is
taking over the role as mayor? Like a little note
or kind of like the president does for the next president.

Speaker 38 (01:25:18):
My wife Sonya is the most thoughtful person of the world.
I'm sure she will have a gift basket sitting there
for the for the next mayor. But you know, I've
been very fortunate the people a Detroit provide that residence
and most of the furnishings are actually through a foundation,
So the furniture stays behind.

Speaker 5 (01:25:37):
Yeah, the house stays.

Speaker 6 (01:25:38):
It's an easy move, but the memories will stay with me.

Speaker 7 (01:25:40):
Wow, I got I got so many questions. I want
to ask you, you know, for those that don't know this,
and some of you may not because you don't you know,
a lot of our listenerships sometimes doesn't keep track of
politics and stuff. You are running for governor, but you're
running not as a Democrat, which you are. You're going
to run as an independent, and a lot of people

(01:26:01):
probably are wondering why would you do that. You're a
lifelong Democrat. Would you answer a question like that?

Speaker 43 (01:26:06):
For me?

Speaker 6 (01:26:07):
I don't want to get into too much politics.

Speaker 38 (01:26:08):
Just I think politics as usual is bringing this state down,
is bringing our schools down, it's bringing our economy down,
and the Republicans and Democrats are so consumed with fighting
with each other. And so I'm just going around the
state saying, if you like the way politics is, you're
going to have Republican and Democratic choices. If you're fed
up with politics as usual and you want Michigan to

(01:26:29):
go in a new direction, I hope.

Speaker 6 (01:26:31):
You'll listen to me. And people every corner of this
state have been very receptive. Man.

Speaker 7 (01:26:36):
I have loved what you've done. I really truly do.
I knew you back in the days of DMC. I'll
never forget meeting you. With lu Ann and Dawn Crowley
and everybody over there, and seeing what you did to
the DMC and made a great hospital system in our city,

(01:26:57):
and then now then become the mayor of this great city.
That's I look at the people that run for politics
and I say to myself, why would you do this?
You are You're a business person, you know what I mean?
Like I look at the Governor Wimer and I'm like,
Governor Wimmer, you could probably be the CEO if you
wanted to a blue cross blue shield. What are you thinking?
And you've got people attacking you all the time. I

(01:27:20):
would love to see somebody like you be the governor
of this state. So I've had the opposite experience. The
people of the city have been tremendous to me for
twelve years.

Speaker 38 (01:27:28):
Every place I go, they've been enormously supportive and it's
it's been a joy.

Speaker 29 (01:27:33):
Wow.

Speaker 37 (01:27:34):
Let me ask you this, because you say December thirty first,
the boxes are closed, we'll locking the manw game for
the final time. You might have just answered it with
your answer being to people. So hopefully this isn't redundant.
What will you remember the most in your twelve year
ten year here is mirror at the City of Detroit.

Speaker 38 (01:27:49):
You know, I think the night that the train station
reopened with Ross and the symbol of Detroit's declined. But
then last Saturday the of the Ralph Wilson Park, one
hundred million dollar park on the riverfront. When people get
down to see it, it is it's just like one slide,

(01:28:09):
one area of playground equipment after other kids have just
got such huge smiles. So there are going to be
some special memories of of things that I think we've
made the city a little bit better.

Speaker 7 (01:28:19):
Is there anything that you didn't get to accomplish that
you kind of wish that you wouldn't You'll tell the
next mayor, Hey, this is something I really want you
to do.

Speaker 6 (01:28:26):
You know, I really would have liked to get more
buses on the road. I really have not been satisfied
with what we've done.

Speaker 38 (01:28:33):
And they're out order and people have being hired and
it's a year away, but that's probably the area that
I feel like I should have made more progress.

Speaker 6 (01:28:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:28:42):
Mayor dug in in studio with us this morning. Mayor
Mike Duggan, he is the mayor of the City Detroit,
just presented this.

Speaker 3 (01:28:53):
Opening.

Speaker 7 (01:28:54):
It will that a real We're gonna try it. I'm
gonna try, gonna see if it will open up American
Coney Islands. And I want to see if Grace I
can go in there and just start stealing hot dogs
from Grace.

Speaker 6 (01:29:07):
I'm pretty I'm pretty sure Grace will honor. Honestly, I'm
afraid of Grace. Grace. I'll come in during business hours.
What's up, Dave?

Speaker 29 (01:29:15):
How you doing, Hey, Mojo?

Speaker 13 (01:29:18):
Yes, morning, Hi.

Speaker 6 (01:29:19):
Buddy, how are you.

Speaker 5 (01:29:21):
I'm doing well, man, how are you great? Say hi
to the mayor, Mayor of Detroit.

Speaker 29 (01:29:27):
Good morning.

Speaker 6 (01:29:29):
What's going on, Dave?

Speaker 5 (01:29:31):
Hey, I just want to.

Speaker 47 (01:29:32):
Say first time, long time.

Speaker 29 (01:29:37):
Let's go keV.

Speaker 47 (01:29:39):
Hey, Mojo.

Speaker 12 (01:29:40):
I just want to congratulate you man.

Speaker 47 (01:29:41):
You're You're in a group with Aretha Franklin and Big Sean. Yeah,
that's pretty sweet, man.

Speaker 5 (01:29:48):
Congratulation.

Speaker 6 (01:29:49):
Thank you, Dave.

Speaker 7 (01:29:49):
I appreciate it. And honestly, they are way greater than
I am. But I I'm honored by that, And honestly
I'm honored by Friday or Thursday. The the great people
that are in the Hall of Fame Detroit, you know,
legends that are in the Hall of Fame. Casey casem
a Detroit legend, went to Wayne State. You know JP McCarthy,

(01:30:11):
Like I said, there was you remember listening to JP,
don't you kidding?

Speaker 6 (01:30:14):
I grew up by JP. JP.

Speaker 7 (01:30:16):
JP McCarthy could get the President of the United States
to just pick up the Oval Office phone at a whim,
like not call any press secretaries or anything like that.

Speaker 6 (01:30:24):
That's how great of a broadcaster he was. Crystal, what's up,
Same Joe?

Speaker 18 (01:30:30):
Congratulations you are just so amazing.

Speaker 19 (01:30:34):
I totally love you and I am a long time
long time You should have a fee for that, but
we know you need to drop the feat for us
long time, long time.

Speaker 6 (01:30:44):
That's right.

Speaker 44 (01:30:45):
And Mayor Degan, you are amazing as well.

Speaker 26 (01:30:48):
I am a suburban knight, so I don't get the
vote in Dwayne County, but I.

Speaker 35 (01:30:53):
Love Michigan and Michigan has definitely adopted me.

Speaker 28 (01:30:55):
But just you know, Mojoe, you were just great.

Speaker 6 (01:31:00):
And I know I'm not going I gotta be honest
with you.

Speaker 7 (01:31:05):
That's part of I want to talk about this a
little later this morning, because there's part of this getting
this honor that is a little almost depressing because it
makes you feel like, Okay, you're not one.

Speaker 37 (01:31:15):
Of the blessed ones that can get your flowers while
you can still smell it. Some people wait and wait
until it ended. The chapter is cluse you're still writing
your book.

Speaker 7 (01:31:21):
At the Radio Hall of Fame, the first people getting
inducted are the what is it, imposthumous.

Speaker 6 (01:31:25):
Or whateverthis, yeah, people that.

Speaker 7 (01:31:28):
Died and on one of them is Steve Smith, who
is a legendary radio programmer programmed Hot ninety seven in
New York and Power ninety two in Phoenix, and he's
like a power in Los Angeles. The guy should have
been in the Hall of Fame before he died, and
he unfortunately passed this past year.

Speaker 6 (01:31:44):
So Crystal, thank you, I love you so much.

Speaker 7 (01:31:47):
Real quick, I'm thinking about this, Mayor Duggan, first time,
long time. Yeah, that we do this whenever people call
up and they've been listening to the show going to
be on twenty six years in February, and so we
first time, long time, we'll give them a little air horn.

Speaker 6 (01:32:04):
And you just got it.

Speaker 7 (01:32:05):
So that the that we don't have a key to
the city, but I'll give you a key to this
bail building and Christos.

Speaker 6 (01:32:09):
Will helps right up there with my best memories there.

Speaker 7 (01:32:15):
I want to ask you a couple of quick questions
about this city and just like you know where it's going.
And I don't know if you have even publicly come
out and said who you want to see be the
next mayor?

Speaker 6 (01:32:27):
But who do you want to see the time?

Speaker 38 (01:32:30):
I have endorsed the council president, Mary Sheffield, Mary Chef.
I've been a partner for the last twelve years in
the direction that this city's gone. I didn't do this
by myself, you know, we had twelve years of working
together with the council and with the neighborhood groups and
the like, and I think we need to continue that.
This us versus them politics that held the city back.
I think we've put behind us for good.

Speaker 7 (01:32:53):
Is this something where you look at her and seeing
the people that you're going to leave behind? Because program
directors know this. I don't know if he's here, but
Tony's probably on his way. You never want to see
your program director or you know, general manager. We got
Colleen who's sharing. I don't I don't want to see
her go somewhere else, Like I don't want to see
the company move her, because when they move her, sometimes

(01:33:13):
they end up bringing somebody in that shifts up the
talent pool that you have that are with you is
council president and Sheffield going to keep a lot of
the same people that you have.

Speaker 6 (01:33:24):
You know, I think you can expect the new mayor
to put in their own administration.

Speaker 5 (01:33:27):
Now.

Speaker 38 (01:33:27):
I'm glad she's already said publicly that Chief Medisine will
will stay, and I think you'll see a number of
key people stay. I think she'll bring in a good
amount of fresh blood, and that's what you want from
any administration.

Speaker 7 (01:33:39):
Great, great, I love it all right. I don't know
what else I can ask you other than can I
take a picture with you?

Speaker 14 (01:33:45):
Is it?

Speaker 6 (01:33:45):
Okay? Can we do a picture together? Let's asking for stuff?
We got to December.

Speaker 3 (01:33:48):
What do you want?

Speaker 2 (01:33:49):
What do you want?

Speaker 6 (01:33:49):
Wanting to be Grand Marshalett? But things giving? Actually they
are they announced to who's doing it? Yes, Devin still? Okay, okay,
this is funny. For the last ten let him be

(01:34:10):
come on.

Speaker 38 (01:34:11):
For the last ten years I have driven the Grand
Marshal in the Carmen Harlean one here yere, Judge Damon
Keith one year, Lomas Brown one year.

Speaker 6 (01:34:21):
Okay, so I'm not sure who's going driving? Got your license?

Speaker 22 (01:34:25):
How?

Speaker 6 (01:34:26):
How was it with Lomas?

Speaker 15 (01:34:29):
He is a funny guy.

Speaker 40 (01:34:30):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 38 (01:34:32):
It was the first year the Lions were making a
run for the playoffs. It was a lot more fun
for him going down that parade about that year that
it might have been in other years.

Speaker 6 (01:34:40):
Are you going to I'm like, I got tears are
snapped from crying earlier this morning.

Speaker 7 (01:34:45):
Are what happens if you know you're out? What's the
last day of your actual first? December thirty? First the
Lions win the Super Bowl? I mean, can you get
Can you say Mayor Sheffield or whoever?

Speaker 38 (01:34:58):
Well, the good news is I have my Lion season
tickets from twenty five years ago and which my brother
has been using because as may or it's been hard
to sit in the middle of the stands and people
behind you get mad about I've been taking pictures. But
I'm looking forward to January. We're turning to my seats
where I can yeah away from a closer approximy.

Speaker 7 (01:35:18):
When is the governor's race? When is a year from now?
So it's a year from us. You've got a whole
year of campaigning and doing all that stuff.

Speaker 38 (01:35:24):
I'm visiting little towns and farms all around the state.
It's a great experience.

Speaker 7 (01:35:27):
So I don't know if this has been even talked about,
but you know, this radio show is not only on
in Detroit, but we're on in Grand Rapids. We're number
one in Grand Rapids. We are also number one in Toledo.
So you catch a lot of them in row. You know,
listenership West Michigan doesn't necessarily know Mike Duggan like Detroit
knows Mike Dougan.

Speaker 6 (01:35:47):
There's no question about it. That's exactly the issue.

Speaker 38 (01:35:49):
And so I think I spent all day Thursday in
communities in around Lansing. I spent all day Friday in
communities in and around Genesee County, and it's just wonderful
to get to meet folks in a lot of these
small towns, people who live along Lake Huron. And what
I'm finding is people everywhere are kind of tired of

(01:36:10):
the parties and looking for change.

Speaker 6 (01:36:12):
Well, and this is to everybody that's listening.

Speaker 7 (01:36:15):
And I don't know if I can't even endorse, I
don't know how Colleen feels about that. Whatever the deal is,
I hope that whoever wins the governor's race and our
mayor's race here in Detroit carries on the tradition that
you did of onward and upward, I mean Detroit. We
all know what Detroit was like when it went through bankruptcy, right,

(01:36:35):
we all kind of knew that that was the biggest
national story. We were on headlines, national news at night.
And to see what Detroit is now, people come to
the city and they're blown away by how beautiful it is.
And honestly, our sports teams kind of thrive because of
that too. So it's really special. So if you can
do what you did in Detroit to the state, I

(01:36:57):
think it's going to be an amazing you know time
for this this community.

Speaker 38 (01:37:03):
Well, it's I was a kid who grew up in
Detroit and who this time of year when they started
to decorate downtown for Christmas and go see Sanet Hudson's
go down for Sanders. Detroit was a special place to
grow up. And we're making it a special place again.
And so it's been it's been just a joyful experience
for me. I'm ready to go do something else.

Speaker 6 (01:37:23):
The only thing, the only thing though, I will never
forget this. So I went to a game.

Speaker 7 (01:37:27):
I went to a Michigan Michigan State It was actually
a basketball game, and Brian Msalam took took me to
the game, and you were with us at the time.
And I remember Joey from our show was there and
my son Joe is there, and they're like, God, you
got to be careful. If you're the you know, the mayor,
you gotta be careful who you're rooting for. You are
not careful, you will come out right away and say.

Speaker 5 (01:37:49):
Who you root for.

Speaker 38 (01:37:50):
A couple of times the Michigan basketball coaches have mentioned
that they felt like the referee heard me.

Speaker 6 (01:37:56):
I'm not shy no those games, although you do get
along with time. I'm is though right to is great. Yeah,
it's been great for great for the city, and great
for this for this state. And we've done some things together.
But that's great.

Speaker 37 (01:38:07):
I don't know why I want to Axes, but I
gotta ask you. Are you dressing up for Halloween?

Speaker 6 (01:38:12):
I don't think so? Okay, all right, I just guys.

Speaker 4 (01:38:16):
All I heard is December thirty first is his last
day in the Median Mansion. New Year's party, Marshall, how
about our holiday party?

Speaker 2 (01:38:25):
Holiday?

Speaker 7 (01:38:27):
Although you may not get your your security deposit back.
If we their party, let's get I want to get
a picture more parties at the you know.

Speaker 29 (01:38:37):
Where?

Speaker 6 (01:38:37):
Should we do it right behind the sign? We're gonna
do it live on air. I like doing live on air.
We got no breaks, we have no commercials right now,
we're commercial free. Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (01:38:47):
Keep talking.

Speaker 6 (01:38:48):
No, you got it?

Speaker 4 (01:38:51):
Oh that's good.

Speaker 13 (01:38:53):
Perfect.

Speaker 5 (01:38:53):
Can I get my wife in this one too?

Speaker 6 (01:38:55):
Come on, Chelsea, come on in.

Speaker 14 (01:38:57):
This is amazing.

Speaker 6 (01:38:59):
Chelsea out she is she is crazy. She holds all
my keys right there. Get on the other side, right over.

Speaker 2 (01:39:07):
Yeah, there.

Speaker 5 (01:39:10):
No more parking ticket, No, no, no, no, that's my
next question.

Speaker 18 (01:39:19):
Mayor.

Speaker 7 (01:39:21):
You have a parking person that gives give us tickets
right over here, and there's no there's no sign that
says you can't be too close to the corner. And
she's given Cavi a ticket, she's given Neil Feldman from.

Speaker 6 (01:39:35):
Carlos Golf landing ticket. Guys, guys, use the app mister Mayor,
I thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (01:39:46):
I seriously, this is even a greater honor than Thursday
getting into the radio.

Speaker 9 (01:39:52):
He has wanted this key for decades, two decades.

Speaker 6 (01:39:57):
To me, I always thought that you got a key
to the city. Guess what you made it? You know
what I mean? And that kind of feels like you
kind of made it a little bit. Up to twenty
five years, we can say you've made it. I love it.
I love it all right.

Speaker 7 (01:40:09):
Well, you know what my first phone call is going
to be after the show's over with at ten thirty,
I'm calling Dick Purtin up to see if Dick Purton
ever got.

Speaker 14 (01:40:18):
Never.

Speaker 6 (01:40:21):
I love it all right. I love you guys so much.
Thank you guys so much.

Speaker 14 (01:40:27):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:40:29):
I really appreciate you. Jeffrey, thank you, Buddy. I appreciate you.
This is the best man. I feel like we need
a I love you.

Speaker 4 (01:40:36):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (01:40:36):
Colleen.

Speaker 7 (01:40:37):
What a what an unbelievable honor? That is Holy cow,
that's craziness.

Speaker 6 (01:40:43):
How you feel?

Speaker 14 (01:40:44):
Man?

Speaker 4 (01:40:46):
Look at that? And let me just tell you, because
you unless you're watching online, you can't see this.

Speaker 9 (01:40:52):
They didn't just hand a key.

Speaker 4 (01:40:53):
It's in this beautiful glass case with photos and the
key is like in a box.

Speaker 6 (01:41:00):
How can you do well? First off? First off, I'm
going to call seth Over at American Loan and see
how much money had give me.

Speaker 9 (01:41:10):
That enough, don't you wonder if anybody else ever.

Speaker 6 (01:41:13):
Brought in Aretha's kids.

Speaker 7 (01:41:16):
Maybe I don't know, so can I can I tell you, guys,
And I want to let me talk in a little bit,
maybe before the end of the show or tomorrow or something.
I want to talk about how I've been feeling. I've
been feeling overwhelmed. It's crazy. I'm not talking even about this,
and I'll talk more about it later. But it's been

(01:41:41):
it's been a few months of not knowing if Chelse
was going to survive, not knowing what our family was
going to look like. And after the Hall of Fame announcement,
when they called us when we were in Toledo, I
was on a high like I could not ever ride

(01:42:02):
ever again, Like that was the biggest high. And then,
as life does and how the Lord tests you in
your faith, it crashed with what happened with Chelsea.

Speaker 6 (01:42:14):
And I almost feel.

Speaker 7 (01:42:18):
Guilty for celebrating what's going on right now, Like I
feel like God has gotten me through some of the
craziest times, and I feel like I need to do
something to repay him for what he has done because
I didn't know what was going to happen with Chelsea.

Speaker 14 (01:42:34):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:42:35):
I tell you something though, part of the celebrating, because
there's a lot of celebrating happening, but celebrating that Chelsea
is good has to be a huge piece of thats
you know.

Speaker 6 (01:42:48):
You know, people don't understand.

Speaker 7 (01:42:50):
You know, this cancer, Chelsea's cancer really hit me because
of the loss of my mom, and it hit me
in a way like I never thought it would hit me.
When you lose somebody really dear to you and you're
just a kid, and then you think to yourself, all
these years, oh god, thank god, no cancer.

Speaker 6 (01:43:11):
Nobody died. Is cancer, you know?

Speaker 4 (01:43:13):
And then you just to hear that word is scary.

Speaker 6 (01:43:16):
It's awful. It's a horrible thing. I'll talk more about
it later. Let's get the second date upgrade. I love you, guys.
I love you guys so much. Can I tell you
thank you?

Speaker 4 (01:43:25):
I remember literally my first year on the show, you
were like one day I just the city. That was
two thousand and nine. Fast forward, it finally freaking happened.

Speaker 6 (01:43:35):
Can I tell you something. I think when Aretha got
the key to the city, I think that we on
the show were like, we want the key. Let me
say something real quick. As you said you feel like
you have to do something.

Speaker 37 (01:43:46):
I heard one time they were talking about the difference
between relationships and responsibility, and they were saying, for men,
we have an easier time with responsibility because it requires
us to do something, whereas a real relationship requires us
to be somebody. And I think immediately when you think
about all the things that are happening, you're like, man,
I need to do something to show my appreciation, to

(01:44:07):
show my gratitude.

Speaker 6 (01:44:08):
And I think just you being is enough.

Speaker 37 (01:44:12):
And because you have been who you are, that's why
you're getting the key to the city, that's why you're
in the Hall of Fame, that's why you and your
wife are still together.

Speaker 6 (01:44:18):
So you don't need to do anything. You just need
to be who you are. And that's why God bless you.

Speaker 21 (01:44:21):
Enjoy it.

Speaker 6 (01:44:23):
Kevin, thank you, And that means the most to me.
And remember how earlier you guys asked me an hour ago,
how am I sweating? Is doing?

Speaker 19 (01:44:28):
Ye?

Speaker 4 (01:44:30):
How are your what?

Speaker 6 (01:44:31):
How I'm sweating? I'm sweating. It's fresh, I am I
got lots of sweat. I got ball. All right, Second
date update, let's do it.

Speaker 5 (01:44:47):
It's the second date update module in the morning.

Speaker 6 (01:44:50):
All right, second date update? Why are you not getting
a call back?

Speaker 7 (01:44:52):
We're going to find out Skylar is getting ghosted now
after going out on a date that you thought actually
went well, but you didn't think it went like excessively well,
like you thought it was just a good date.

Speaker 6 (01:45:06):
Yes, what did you guys do, Skyler?

Speaker 43 (01:45:10):
We went bowling?

Speaker 6 (01:45:12):
Oh okay, okay, and you guys had pretty good conversation
with each other while you were bowling.

Speaker 3 (01:45:19):
Yeah, you know, it was on and off, but I won.

Speaker 7 (01:45:27):
But I hope that's not the reason why some guys
get competitive, man, I do. We talked about that with
Kevin one time with a date. He gets competitive. He
does not want to see anybody win, not even his
kid does Kevin want to see win. All right, let's
see what's going on. We're gonna find out what's happening here.
Did you guys kiss or hug bye? What did you
guys do at the end of the day?

Speaker 43 (01:45:47):
Kissed? But that's it?

Speaker 6 (01:45:48):
Okay. Alex is on the phone with us right now. Alex, Hey,
we going good. Good to have you on, Skyler. Say
hi to Alex. Hey, could you hear that, Alex?

Speaker 22 (01:46:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 18 (01:46:05):
I heard it?

Speaker 7 (01:46:05):
Okay, all right, So Skyler was just wondering what's going
on and if everything's okay? Was everything okay? Did did
you have a good time on the date?

Speaker 24 (01:46:16):
Uh?

Speaker 47 (01:46:16):
Yeah, I had a good time on the day.

Speaker 22 (01:46:18):
So what.

Speaker 14 (01:46:21):
Well?

Speaker 47 (01:46:21):
I you know, I just didn't really like this bracelet
she was wearing.

Speaker 6 (01:46:26):
She wearing a bracelet?

Speaker 3 (01:46:27):
Was it expensive?

Speaker 6 (01:46:28):
What would Jesus do?

Speaker 18 (01:46:31):
Well?

Speaker 47 (01:46:31):
It was like one of those permanent bracelets.

Speaker 6 (01:46:34):
Oh yeah, What is a permanent bracelet?

Speaker 32 (01:46:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:46:37):
It's like a like a usually a gold or a
silver chain link, and they solder it on you, like
you have to go somewhere to get it soldered on you,
but you can't take it off.

Speaker 6 (01:46:45):
What's wrong with her wearing a bracelet like that? Why
is that a bad bracelet to wear?

Speaker 47 (01:46:51):
Well, it's it's from her ex.

Speaker 3 (01:46:54):
How do you know that?

Speaker 4 (01:46:55):
Did you ask?

Speaker 47 (01:46:57):
Yeah? She told me. She said it was from her
ex from last year.

Speaker 7 (01:47:00):
Yeah, so she's wearing a bracelet that he gave her
and it's a bracelet. Is there meaning to the fact
that you think that she's still wearing it and is
because to me, if it was a ring, I would
say something with that.

Speaker 6 (01:47:12):
But is a bracelet a bad thing to be wearing.

Speaker 47 (01:47:16):
Yeah, I mean it feels like, you know, I just
don't like that she's still wearing jewelry from her EXE.
That just doesn't feel right.

Speaker 4 (01:47:23):
Why do you still wear it?

Speaker 43 (01:47:24):
Tyler? Well, it cost it a lot of money. I
bought it with my own money.

Speaker 48 (01:47:31):
It's permanent, and it's a cute bracelet, So I don't
feel like there's any need to remove.

Speaker 43 (01:47:37):
It, does it.

Speaker 9 (01:47:38):
It doesn't have like initials or anything on it. It's
just like a it's just metal.

Speaker 16 (01:47:43):
I mean, it's got his first initial, my first initial.

Speaker 4 (01:47:46):
But oh see that okay for anything?

Speaker 43 (01:47:49):
Yeah, that is that is.

Speaker 9 (01:47:51):
Kind of weird to me.

Speaker 4 (01:47:51):
Actually, if it if it didn't have anything like that
on it and it was just like the chain, I
would say that's fine, like get it, it's cute. They're expensive,
But the fact that it has his initial and your
initial on it is kind of strange to me.

Speaker 9 (01:48:07):
I mean, like for real, like you know, I mean,
you can go, you can?

Speaker 6 (01:48:09):
You can?

Speaker 4 (01:48:09):
So she can if she wanted to, Yes, where do
you have had one? And we had to cut it
off of her for a swim season?

Speaker 6 (01:48:16):
Where do you go to me?

Speaker 9 (01:48:17):
We did it at home?

Speaker 2 (01:48:18):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (01:48:18):
Really? Okay?

Speaker 7 (01:48:19):
So Skyler, are you willing to cut that thing off
to stay in a relationship with Alex? And Alex, I'll
ask you the question first, or actually I'll ask Skyler
that question first, then I'll ask you my last question,
my question next, Skyler, would you cut it off?

Speaker 16 (01:48:33):
It would have to take a lot for me to
cut it off.

Speaker 6 (01:48:37):
What do you mean?

Speaker 48 (01:48:37):
But it would have to well, he would have to
wow me so much more than the ex I had
before him, Yeah, to.

Speaker 4 (01:48:46):
Have me cut it off. So you're keeping that on
until you meet somebody who surpasses the expectations of what
you had for your.

Speaker 16 (01:48:53):
Ex almost definitely, which will never happen.

Speaker 6 (01:48:57):
Gosh, should you be dating, you're still probably still have
feelings for that X. It sounds like I mean, I don't,
but but you like the piece of jewelry. Yeah, yeah,
all right, Alex.

Speaker 7 (01:49:10):
If she were to cut it off, if you guys
were to date for a period of time and she
would have done a ceremonial cut on this thing, would
you be okay with that? Or you want her to
cut it off before she starts going dating again?

Speaker 47 (01:49:21):
No, I mean, did you hear her answers? She still
has feelings for her ex. I mean the bracelet just
shows that, Yeah, somebody.

Speaker 48 (01:49:29):
I don't have feelings for my ex. Where you're not
listening to what I was saying.

Speaker 3 (01:49:32):
You just said you would never find it out better
than him.

Speaker 43 (01:49:36):
Yes, but I also said that if I did, maybe I.

Speaker 16 (01:49:40):
Would want to cut it off.

Speaker 6 (01:49:41):
But she's waiting.

Speaker 43 (01:49:42):
I don't have any feelings for my ex.

Speaker 16 (01:49:45):
I just think the brace looks cute.

Speaker 3 (01:49:47):
I don't know about you, but I do not like
my ex at all.

Speaker 6 (01:49:50):
I would never say that, but you like the jewelry
eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six sixty
five six five four eight. Uh, what do you think
it should?

Speaker 7 (01:50:00):
Skyler cut it off? Or do you think that this
is that even that big of a deal? I probably,
and it's weird. I probably am one of those guys
that just doesn't notice things. I would I would look
and think it was just a bracelet. I don't think
I would look and see what it says.

Speaker 4 (01:50:15):
But when you but when you see initials on it.

Speaker 6 (01:50:18):
But I probably wouldn't look that close. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:50:21):
I depend on what it looks like, but I I
feel like I would be curious if it's like I
have bracelets that have words on them and names on them,
and I guess I would be curious and be like, oh,
who's that?

Speaker 6 (01:50:32):
You know? What does that mean? Scott?

Speaker 22 (01:50:33):
What do you think she shouldn't be in the dating scene?

Speaker 34 (01:50:37):
Because when you asked if if like she met someone
when she cut it off, she said no, it'll never happen.

Speaker 6 (01:50:43):
Yeah, Anna, I said the same thing too. Anna kind
of caught that.

Speaker 7 (01:50:48):
Maybe she's not over that X in order to be
out there getting into another relationship.

Speaker 6 (01:50:53):
What's up, Sarah?

Speaker 14 (01:50:54):
Hi?

Speaker 26 (01:50:55):
Hey, I was comment I'll say she wouldn't be the
guy would need to.

Speaker 7 (01:51:01):
Oh so if you were dating Alex, you would cut
it off, but he's got to get you a new one.

Speaker 28 (01:51:07):
Yeah, it had to look better.

Speaker 7 (01:51:10):
But if it's gold maybe she can melt it down Goldsworth. While,
what's up, Mackenzie? How you doing?

Speaker 37 (01:51:18):
Hey?

Speaker 26 (01:51:18):
Good morning? I feel like this has become such a
big deal.

Speaker 49 (01:51:22):
Like the first disagreement or argument they get into, she's
going to be like, well, I cut my bracelet off
for you, right.

Speaker 7 (01:51:29):
Can I ask this question if this was a tattoo,
would you feel the same way, Alex? Because tattoos are
hard to get rid of, you know, I think it.

Speaker 44 (01:51:39):
Would be it would be a red flag, but it
would it wouldn't be as big a deal.

Speaker 47 (01:51:43):
But as long as she said, you know, I'm working
on getting Yeah, this is a quick thing.

Speaker 6 (01:51:48):
This is kind of like this is the jewelry version
of a tattoo. What's up, Michelle?

Speaker 29 (01:51:53):
This is a snip?

Speaker 6 (01:51:55):
What's going on? Michelle?

Speaker 18 (01:51:58):
Hello?

Speaker 28 (01:51:58):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (01:51:59):
What do you think?

Speaker 49 (01:52:02):
At first?

Speaker 35 (01:52:02):
I didn't think anything of it, because you know, women
love jewelry, But the comments that she made.

Speaker 50 (01:52:10):
I feel like she does still have feelings for him,
you know what I mean, like get rid of the
jewelry already.

Speaker 7 (01:52:15):
Somebody just said, can she just change the letters? Is
that possible? What do you think about that, Michelle? As
an idea if?

Speaker 50 (01:52:21):
I mean, yeah, if she did that, but I mean
it's more symbolic with the initials, you.

Speaker 14 (01:52:26):
Know what I mean?

Speaker 37 (01:52:27):
Yeah, just out of curiosity. When's the last time you
spoke to your eggs?

Speaker 14 (01:52:32):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:52:33):
We haven't spoken in a few months.

Speaker 7 (01:52:35):
Actually, Okay, so it's been a while, so it wasn't
like you recently talked to him. Maddie was up, No,
because nobody, what do you want to say.

Speaker 25 (01:52:48):
Maddie, I'm gonna say like, no, one logically, even if
it was a bad or a good breakup, wants to
wear something they look at every day as a reminder
if you no longer have it.

Speaker 49 (01:52:59):
And then also like that she.

Speaker 25 (01:53:03):
What has it to look at it? If that was me,
I'd be like, oh, I must have done something right.
If I was the ex, if they're still wearing something.

Speaker 7 (01:53:10):
With my name on it or my initial, I wonder
if he listens, wouldn't that be interesting to know? And
I wonder, do you know, Skyler? Do you know if
he's got does he wear a bracelet too?

Speaker 43 (01:53:22):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (01:53:22):
So he is he still wearing your bracelet?

Speaker 22 (01:53:25):
Do you know?

Speaker 6 (01:53:27):
As far as I know, Yes, not to mention bracelets,
that'd be kind of wild.

Speaker 4 (01:53:33):
But I paid for it.

Speaker 16 (01:53:34):
That's I feel like nobody's listening to that. I paid
for it with my own money.

Speaker 4 (01:53:39):
That's why I wear it.

Speaker 6 (01:53:40):
We don't care.

Speaker 16 (01:53:41):
It's a cute piece of bracelet.

Speaker 4 (01:53:42):
It's a cute bracelet.

Speaker 7 (01:53:44):
It cost her some money. Our friend friend from Lucido
find jewelry. She texted in saying she'll help you get
rid of the bracelet and find some new ones if
you want. Maybe Alice can buy you one. Who knows,
Maybe if you cared about you that much. Second date update,
I'm mo Joe on the morning, home with it.

Speaker 5 (01:54:00):
Thirty on the thirty, go back down on a second
date update, and more the roses. This is Mojo in
the morning.

Speaker 7 (01:54:08):
I find it interesting too when there are people that
will split with somebody and they will like discard the
ring that they were wearing for such a long time.
Like to me, if the ring is a beautiful ring,
like I would want to keep wearing it for a
little bit.

Speaker 6 (01:54:23):
But I guess there is so much symbolism. You think
that's weird too.

Speaker 3 (01:54:26):
No way, I sorry. I was eating my breakfast.

Speaker 6 (01:54:31):
Let me don't let me run.

Speaker 3 (01:54:34):
One of my exes was a huge sneakerhead and the
hardest thing I had to do was get rid of
all these easies that you bought me. But I was like,
I cannot be wearing these of this man bought them.

Speaker 11 (01:54:44):
For really, see you.

Speaker 34 (01:54:47):
Not you.

Speaker 9 (01:54:48):
I don't like easies, but I keep the good shoes.

Speaker 3 (01:54:51):
I'm going to keep the good shoes. I don't want
to think about him.

Speaker 6 (01:54:54):
How quick did you get rid of the ring of it?

Speaker 4 (01:54:57):
My engagement ring and wedding I still have them, and nah,
why would I get rid of that. I'm gonna make
a beautiful piece of jewelry for hopefully for Lucy one
day that she'll want to wear. I mean, I thought
about selling it and using the money, like to do something,
but then I'm like, then I would feel weird about
whatever it is that I'm doing. That it came from

(01:55:17):
something so yucky.

Speaker 37 (01:55:18):
I don't know the reason why I said see naw
is because in my mind it wouldn't even be in
your possession if I wanted to give you something and
we're no longer together, or you said notes an engagement
that ring't coming back with me.

Speaker 9 (01:55:29):
See oh, but not if you get married, right, I'm.

Speaker 6 (01:55:33):
Putting that into Brina. Quick quick question, Shannon, when did
you take the ring off?

Speaker 4 (01:55:37):
I took it off the day I believe, if I
remember correctly, I took off the ring the day my
divorce was final.

Speaker 6 (01:55:43):
Wow, so you wore it?

Speaker 9 (01:55:44):
I wore it the whole Yeah, I'm pretty.

Speaker 4 (01:55:46):
Sure I did.

Speaker 14 (01:55:48):
That.

Speaker 3 (01:55:48):
You're repurposing it for Lucy.

Speaker 43 (01:55:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:55:51):
In fact, now that I think about, I don't even
know where. I mean, I have it at my house, but.

Speaker 7 (01:55:54):
Did any people because I know you didn't date for
a long long time after you got divorced.

Speaker 6 (01:55:58):
But did any people look at it as weird that
you were still wearing the ring even while you were
going through a divorce.

Speaker 9 (01:56:02):
If they did, they didn't say anything to me about it.

Speaker 4 (01:56:04):
Yeah, it is eight billion degrees in this, guys, I
actually feel I'm I'm like, I know you're going to
use this. I'm wet. My whole body is soaked with sweat. No,
for real, it's eighty six degrees in here.

Speaker 6 (01:56:22):
By the way, h fact, problems follow us. Jeff insane,
Jeffrey Saque, everybody, Jeffrey sackla, are you wet too?

Speaker 28 (01:56:30):
Now?

Speaker 3 (01:56:32):
Like I am?

Speaker 6 (01:56:33):
Dan Shannon says She's wet? Are you wet? Also?

Speaker 3 (01:56:38):
I need to say something about sac nurse?

Speaker 6 (01:56:40):
What do you want to say about Jeff?

Speaker 3 (01:56:41):
I met this man in my life. Hello. I walk
around the streets of Detroit often, and after I got
this job, at least three people have come up to

Speaker 7 (01:57:48):
The real deal, you know how you know, we we
heard stories about people that are you know, detraiters, you
know what I mean, like the true detraiters, the the Gilbert's,
the iss and.

Speaker 6 (01:57:57):
Stuff of the world. Don't have that bad buddy, I know.
But but no, but Saqua is that he's he really
is you are when you talk about the city and
the birth of this the rebirth of the city, you
nobody loves the city more than than this guy doesn't
I think I.

Speaker 3 (01:58:12):
Do, but we can talk about that later.

Speaker 6 (01:58:13):
Well, but you're also honestly you you love it a lot,
but you also don't have as many years on you.

Speaker 7 (01:58:19):
Okay, he's got he's got more ring he got out
of that one. Yeah, no, but I am sweating my Hey,
are you the age factory?

Speaker 14 (01:58:29):
Christ?

Speaker 6 (01:58:29):
I thought you were h fact? Will you call your
family hating and people? Christ Chrystal, can you come down
here and help us? It is I'm not joking here,
I tell you that. All right, let me do a
contest and Mojo in the morning to your precess on
our free I Heeart radio app.

Speaker 5 (01:58:48):
I never missed four of the roses. A second date update?
Am I a or the throw back throw down?

Speaker 2 (01:58:54):

Speaker 6 (01:58:54):

Speaker 7 (01:58:55):

Speaker 22 (01:59:15):
Hi?

Speaker 14 (01:59:16):
How are you good?

Speaker 7 (01:59:17):
We were talking about the uh, you know, the the bracelet.
But you wanted to make a comment about Xes buying
you things and keeping the things that the Xes buy you.

Speaker 6 (01:59:27):
What's up?

Speaker 23 (01:59:29):
Well, we were together like eight years.

Speaker 51 (01:59:31):
He bought me like several Louis Vaton persons, and I've
contemplated several times and getting rid of them.

Speaker 4 (01:59:38):
I just can't do not.

Speaker 22 (01:59:41):
Don't use them that much.

Speaker 4 (01:59:42):
Doesn't matter.

Speaker 6 (01:59:44):
No, no, you keep that stuff. Yeah, you get rid
of you get rid of it, sell them for a
lot of money.

Speaker 18 (01:59:48):
Yes, exactly. Okay.

Speaker 51 (01:59:51):
At one point I did throw it like over the gate,
but then my mom made my son go get it.

Speaker 6 (01:59:56):
What gage?

Speaker 3 (01:59:57):
Did you throw it over over my apartment gate?

Speaker 18 (02:00:01):
Like we live like behind Hines Park and I just
tossed it one day.

Speaker 2 (02:00:04):
Can tell you something.

Speaker 4 (02:00:05):
There's a difference between t Anna point shoes, pursues, you know,
a sweatshirt and jewelry with your initials together on it.

Speaker 9 (02:00:13):
Yeah, there's a difference.

Speaker 6 (02:00:15):
What's up, Claire, how you doing? Good morning, guys, Good morning.

Speaker 26 (02:00:19):
I was calling about the second date update and holding
on to jewelry. I still have my forty five hundred
dollars engagement ring that he let me keep and I
still wear it so that guys will stay away from
me because I don't like the attention. But I do
have a gentleman that I'm talking to that doesn't really
care because he knows I'm wearing it because it's pretty.

Speaker 6 (02:00:39):
Yeah, come on, you know what I think.

Speaker 7 (02:00:41):
I think guys need to be strong, stronger with who
they are and be like, I don't care what you wear,
you know what I mean? Like what if the guy
what if a guy bought you a car, would you
not want them to drive the car that he bought
you as long as you're not, you know, letting that
guy still make payments to your Oh, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 37 (02:01:01):
We're not gonna act like men I quote unquote insecure
beings out here.

Speaker 6 (02:01:05):
It's a lot of women.

Speaker 26 (02:01:08):
When she was wearing the little jewels, I think that's
a little bit much.

Speaker 28 (02:01:12):
But but keV but predominantly what they want as long.

Speaker 26 (02:01:15):
As they kevin understanding of what's going on.

Speaker 7 (02:01:18):
If a guy were to be wearing like say, for instance,
Chelsea bought me a love break or a love ring
back in the day, it doesn't fit me anymore.

Speaker 6 (02:01:25):
My fingers are fat.

Speaker 7 (02:01:26):
And but if she brought me that, and if I
went out on the dating scene wearing it, would I
would I even have to explain it.

Speaker 6 (02:01:32):
I could say my mom bought it for me.

Speaker 37 (02:01:34):
I'm just saying I've been in relationships where a girl
bought me what do you call those things where you
could have it initial and you have like cups with
your starting to see.

Speaker 6 (02:01:41):
I fel like you put your alcohol in it. You
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 37 (02:01:45):
I feel like something to that effect where it was
engraved and boss whatever you said. She came over and
there was like, wow, where'd you get that? And I
was like, well, my ex or so boy, She's like, uhuh.
First thing we doing is getting rid of that. Yeah,
they don't want the eings either.

Speaker 6 (02:01:59):
I'll be trying to say up here, act like y'all
don't no.

Speaker 3 (02:02:01):
I agree?

Speaker 9 (02:02:02):
All right, cool, I'm trying to think of what word
you were trying to think of?

Speaker 6 (02:02:05):
Yeah, me too, Sorry to see you. I'll figure out.
Listen later, I'll just randomly yell out of world.

Speaker 14 (02:02:13):
Morning. He's dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 6 (02:02:14):
All right, I'm gonna do the dirty.

Speaker 7 (02:02:15):
We're gonna do the contest real quick, cold on Sam
wants to shout Kevin out real quick before the dirty starts.

Speaker 6 (02:02:21):
Sam, what did you want to say?

Speaker 21 (02:02:22):
Yes, So I wanted to get a shout out to keV.
I was at the game last night and you did
a phenomenal job.

Speaker 14 (02:02:30):
Thank you.

Speaker 21 (02:02:31):
I just wanted to comment on not only like your
girls on the show, but your girls in that aspect
as well. So I listen to you guys every morning
on the way to and from work, so I get
to see that outside of Kevin, but like watching you
interact with just the people that were around you while
you weren't working last night, Like that tells me a

(02:02:52):
little bit more about.

Speaker 18 (02:02:53):
Like he's amazing you are and like who dose you dude?

Speaker 6 (02:02:58):
Like, for sure, I've never seen a guy do the
job that he does on the court when he's you know,
announcing everything, and then when he's off. I've been at
games where I'll watch him and every kid that is
there is getting a high five from him.

Speaker 21 (02:03:14):
Yeah, he's so interactive with just everybody.

Speaker 6 (02:03:18):
And thank you, God, bless you. I appreciate that job.
Good job a night, and it's called a decanter the way.

Speaker 7 (02:03:29):
Okay, where's my don't you feel better once you're thinking,
all right, what's up in the dirty?

Speaker 16 (02:03:36):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (02:03:37):
So Friday afternoon, did you guys see that ambulance chase
in the Novae North Hill area?

Speaker 6 (02:03:41):
I heard this story what happened?

Speaker 4 (02:03:43):
So a person stole an ambulance before colliding with another vehicle.

Speaker 9 (02:03:47):
But that's not even the craziest part.

Speaker 4 (02:03:48):
The crazy part was the ambulance had a patient and
a paramedic in the back.

Speaker 52 (02:03:53):
We get with that breaking news out of Nova Police
just confirmed an ambulance involved in a crash at eight
mile and Back was stolen with a paramedic impatience still inside.
It happened around three early this afternoon during a multi
vehicle crash.

Speaker 53 (02:04:08):
One of our firefighters that said, hey, they just stole
the ambulance, and one of our officers jumped into his
cruiser engaged in a pursuit with the with the ambulance,
which is, you know something you don't really hear much
every day, right, I know that they were on the
phone with our nine one one communications center letting them
know they were in the back of the ambulance and

(02:04:29):
you know, expressing their concern.

Speaker 4 (02:04:31):
So crashed, crashed again, caught fire, thankfully. Everybody's Okay, that's crazy.

Speaker 6 (02:04:38):
I mean, so what did he think he was going
to get away?

Speaker 7 (02:04:41):
He causes the accident, is going to get in there
and drive away and nobody's going to know who the
hell he is.

Speaker 6 (02:04:46):
That guy had to be on something. Man, it's sad
to see, but wow.

Speaker 4 (02:04:50):
Hearing that Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are drifting apart.
Source of Mind saying their relationship has been on and
off for a good chunk of the year. At one
point they were considering getting married. Those plans are no
longer on the table. And what's interesting to me is
I thought they were like two peas in a pod,
just the their musical backgrounds. Obviously they both left relationships

(02:05:13):
to be with each other, but I guess their relationship
is very toxic. That's the word that everybody uses who
talks about them to me, especially like they're kind of
living in different worlds, especially after the release of Wicked.
So I don't have confirmation on an official split, but
we may hear that dirty sometime soon. By the way,
speaking of Ariana and Wicked, she did an interview over

(02:05:34):
the weekend, and she talked about how she was about
to quit music, but Wicked made her want to keep going.
I didn't think I was going to make an album
ever again.

Speaker 9 (02:05:44):
When I left for London.

Speaker 4 (02:05:46):
That was kind of my secret. But I didn't think
I was going to You know, was there.

Speaker 50 (02:05:50):
An instigating moment or what happened in the process of
making this film that allowed you to want to continue
to make music.

Speaker 11 (02:05:58):
I felt just a genuine.

Speaker 8 (02:06:03):
Spark, like a reconnection and inspiration, and then also I
genuinely wanted to do it.

Speaker 7 (02:06:11):
It just felt like I couldn't not.

Speaker 4 (02:06:13):
It was an inspired moment, and I had to write
an album three more weeks till week the Good comes out.
Kim Kardashian telling The Graham Norton Show over the weekend
that she is hoping she'll pass the bar. She'll find
out in about two weeks if she's an official lawyer.

Speaker 36 (02:06:29):
I took the bar exam in July, and I get it.
I get the results a few days after our premiere,
So in two weeks, Oh my god, why around?

Speaker 4 (02:06:38):
Please pay?

Speaker 43 (02:06:39):
I was really really.

Speaker 38 (02:06:44):
I don't.

Speaker 6 (02:06:47):
Yeah, was there something that you just always wanted to do?

Speaker 5 (02:06:51):
Are you going to actively practice law?

Speaker 36 (02:06:53):
I hope to practice law really in like ten years
I'll give up being Kim Kay and be a lawyer,
like a.

Speaker 4 (02:06:58):
Trial lawyer and a big story. This sporting on my
favorite makeup wipes. Newt Regina is recalling some of its
very popular wipes because of BacT possible bacterial contamination. Neutrigina
is makeup remover, Ultrasoft cleansing toilettes are being recalled after
testing revealed the presence of some sort of bacteria I
cannot pronounce, but it's known to cause infections, you know,

(02:07:20):
and certain people with compromised immune systems, chronic health conditions,
or those who have just undergone or are undergoing surgery.
I know the bulk of the cases were delivered to Texas,
South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, but still if you use them,
might not be a bad idea to go online and
just check the case number. The good news is the
bacteria poses no harm to the majority of the population whatsoever.

Speaker 6 (02:07:44):
Real quick, I'm reading some of these text messages and
we thought that the word was a decanter.

Speaker 7 (02:07:49):
Everybody's saying it's a flask. Some people are saying it
was a koozy, not a decanter.

Speaker 9 (02:07:59):
Decanter like you winding, Yes, the cancer.

Speaker 37 (02:08:01):
Some people have also said Karafi, I don't know if
that's how you pronounce it.

Speaker 14 (02:08:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:08:09):
By the way, the other the other thing that people
are saying is the way that that Novae cop said
ambulance was great to the Amber Lance.

Speaker 4 (02:08:18):
If you missed anything from today's so you can always
go back and listen to the podcast or to Mojo

gotta we got a break. We'll be right back with
more coming up. Here in a second. What's what's going on, Derek?

Speaker 29 (02:09:25):
I good morning, guys.

Speaker 10 (02:09:27):
How's it going good?

Speaker 6 (02:09:28):
What's going on?

Speaker 40 (02:09:29):
Good?

Speaker 32 (02:09:30):
Two things?

Speaker 10 (02:09:30):
Congratulations Joe on getting the Keys of the City. That
I am the biggest Elvis fan that I know, and
I don't like the music that this channel plays, but
you have drawn me to it, so you definitely deserve
everything that's coming to you.

Speaker 7 (02:09:45):
Wait a second, you're the you're the biggest fan of
Are you saying Elvis the artist or Elvis Durant?

Speaker 6 (02:09:50):
Who's our iHeartRadio DJ Elvis Presley, Elvis Presley.

Speaker 10 (02:09:58):
Well, I'm thirty nine years old, but I was back
in the day with Bruno Mars when we was to
dressed up like Elvis in.

Speaker 29 (02:10:04):
The mid eighties.

Speaker 6 (02:10:04):
Oh wow, okay, that's interesting. Well we bring everybody together.
I like it no matter what your musical tastes are.

Speaker 7 (02:10:12):
The beauty is we took the music off this show,
which was Tony Travado, the Master's Uh uh, he's the
master program director. He came to Detroit and uh he
said to me, He goes, why the hell are you
playing music? And I said, because I gotta go to
the bathroom. He goes, go put like a bathroom in
the studio because you're you're going to not play music.

(02:10:34):
It was the best thing that ever happened to our
show because it brought people like you, Derek to listen
to us.

Speaker 47 (02:10:38):
So yes, sure did.

Speaker 10 (02:10:40):
And then another thing too, is it's a flask, not
a decancer.

Speaker 4 (02:10:45):
It was not a flask.

Speaker 6 (02:10:46):
It's a Yeah, he knows what I'm saying. He knows
what a flask is, but he does not know what
a We'll be right back and.

Speaker 5 (02:11:01):
He's talking your rex on social media is all fun
and games until you accidentally hit the like buttons.

Speaker 6 (02:11:08):
Happy Halloween from Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (02:11:11):
WUKQ on Detroit Risk vs.

Speaker 1 (02:11:16):
Toledo, Three Great Stations, One stupid show.

Speaker 2 (02:11:21):
This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

Speaker 7 (02:11:27):
All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Next topic
up is going to be Anna Rob. But first before
we get into Anna Rob, what did you just say?
Just say no yo yo? I think I said no.
I was gonna say one second, no, you're doing a topic.
I want to ask a quick question.

Speaker 6 (02:11:41):
Anna came to the studios this weekend show her mom
and your mom's friends. The the you guys were what
hanging in Eastern Market? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:11:50):
My mom and her friends. They love Vivieos. So if
you're not familiar, there's this place called Vivieos in Eastern Mark.

Speaker 6 (02:11:55):
I've never been. Is it great?

Speaker 3 (02:11:57):
They do insane bloody Mary's like a ton of different
things on top of them. So my mom and her
friends were down here and I was like, you know what,
I know. They're all very big listeners and very supportive
of me. So I brought them into the studio and Laura, Oh,
miss Laura. That's like my second mom. So she's one
of my friends moms and I grew up with her

(02:12:19):
my entire life, so she's a super big fan. Shout out,
miss Laura.

Speaker 4 (02:12:22):
So I got to answer, I know, I love the
note that they left mindset from the Mamas. It was
really sweet.

Speaker 6 (02:12:28):
It's in here, somewhere, I put it in here.

Speaker 3 (02:12:31):
It's I know what she wrote about, because I was like,
you do know he has a glute analogy.

Speaker 6 (02:12:35):
So she asked me. She asked me if I wanted
something and I didn't know what the hell it was. Oh,
here it is.

Speaker 2 (02:12:40):
I found it.

Speaker 6 (02:12:41):
Hold then I'll answer her. Live it says, can I
introduce you to my pudding shots? She does famous pudding
shots that seems very sexual.

Speaker 3 (02:12:56):
They would be melted if they were in here.

Speaker 6 (02:12:58):
I would love to try your pudding, Laura.

Speaker 7 (02:13:04):
Yes, so if they are if they do have no
gluten in them, I can eat pudding, I think, depending
on how the pudding is made.

Speaker 6 (02:13:12):
Okay, Joe.

Speaker 7 (02:13:16):
Cosby Jedo pudding. All right, So that's that's cool. Well,
I'm glad you guys came out, and I'm gonna have
to try this Vivio's place.

Speaker 5 (02:13:23):
Try that.

Speaker 7 (02:13:23):
There's so much stuff in Eastern Market that I have
no idea what it is, and and I sometimes we'll
walk by and I'm like.

Speaker 6 (02:13:29):
Okay, that place looks a little sketchy.

Speaker 9 (02:13:32):
Sketches that are ones.

Speaker 7 (02:13:34):
Seriously, that burger place is no joke, by the way.
That's like a freaking meat loa that they put out
a plate. It's crazy, all right. It is Mojo in
the morning. Anna has a wedding that she's going to
and it's a destination wedding, yes, with a no guest invite.

Speaker 3 (02:13:50):
Yes, so listen to this. One of my friends, I
would say, not like a best friend, not someone that
I see super often, but a good friend of mine
is getting married in Mexico, and I'm so excited for her.
On the invitation, and I quote it specifically said, while
we look forward to your attendance, we regret to inform

(02:14:11):
you that this invitation does not include an additional guest,
which I totally understand. I'm a single woman. There's weddings
are expensive, it's fine, but because this is in Mexico,
I don't know a lot of other people going to
this wedding. And I'm assuming that my friend who's getting
married is going to be very busy with wedding things.

(02:14:32):
So I want to bring somebody with me to Mexico.
But they don't need they don't need to come to
the wedding.

Speaker 6 (02:14:37):
Yeah, but like I would do that, I think, I think,
and I don't know what the Ada kid says on
this one.

Speaker 7 (02:14:44):
I think it's rude to invite a twenty something year
old girl to go out of the country to a
destination wedding and not give her a plus one so
at least she has somebody there to keep her safe.

Speaker 6 (02:14:55):
Like I would feel like that would be to me,
like not safe, wouldn't you if they.

Speaker 4 (02:15:00):
Assume that people are going to do what you are doing,
which I think is a super smart idea. I would
do the same thing. Yeah, it's like bring somebody, make
it a little vacation, and then you go away for
two three hours to the wedding and then come back
and you guys can go do whatever.

Speaker 44 (02:15:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:15:11):
I feel like that that's like the best solution in
my eyes.

Speaker 9 (02:15:14):
Yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 7 (02:15:16):
Is anybody ever been in this where they had a
friend get married either like destination, wedding, cruise ship, whatever,
and they did not have the plus ones? Because maybe
they also might think and this might be the reason
why they don't want you to bring a plus one,
and they might be upset with you.

Speaker 6 (02:15:32):
Maybe they think that they're going to plan so.

Speaker 7 (02:15:34):
Many activities and they've got buses taking you to places,
excursions and things. And if that's the case, then what's
your friend.

Speaker 2 (02:15:41):
Going to do?

Speaker 3 (02:15:42):
So I should ask her?

Speaker 36 (02:15:43):
Is what?

Speaker 4 (02:15:44):
I don't even think about that.

Speaker 7 (02:15:45):
I feel like they would have told you that already though. Yeah,
because sometimes, have you guys ever been to what is
that that place that everybody goes to. It's like all inclusive.

Speaker 4 (02:15:55):
Sandals, Sandals you go to stand.

Speaker 7 (02:15:57):
You know, when you go to a place like that,
you can't just have a person randomly at your hotel,
like you have to can know you. They charge you
per person that's there because you got to have a bracelet.
You got to have a bracelet that you're wearing. Actually,
the the all inclusive in Portavarta that we went to
with our family, you had to tell them how many
people that were there because you had to pay per

(02:16:19):
people because the beverages came with it.

Speaker 3 (02:16:22):
Al's another reason why I wanted a plus one because
I was like, let's split the cost of the hotel
room and everything else.

Speaker 4 (02:16:28):
So but if you're booking your own room and stuff,
even if it is one of those all inclusives, you
just have the person that you're bringing.

Speaker 9 (02:16:34):
Hey, yeah, again, they just don't you have to add them,
right for sure?

Speaker 6 (02:16:39):
Eight four to four Mojo Live eight four four six
sixty five sixt five four eight is the telephone number.

Speaker 37 (02:16:45):
Do you know like any of the other parties that
are attending or any of the wedding party members?

Speaker 3 (02:16:51):
No, Like I literally don't know anyone, okay, but we
we probably have mutuals, like we met through work. So
assuming that some of the people that I use to
work with will also be invited, I would know them.
But like, I don't know for sure, and I haven't
talked to those people in a very long time.

Speaker 7 (02:17:06):
I think that the idea of inviting people to things
is uh is tough because in a lot of cases
you don't want other people there if it's going to
be that you're doing a lot of activity stuff, and
so I think that that's that's, you know, kind.

Speaker 6 (02:17:24):
Of the case.

Speaker 3 (02:17:24):
I need to talk to her. If you're listening, let
me know.

Speaker 7 (02:17:29):
Texture here says, I agree with Mojo. How safe is
that for you to go to another country? It's not
really safe. I don't think. I keep getting this thing
popped up on my thing about people going to Mexico
that you see that there's like a warning about going
to Mexico.

Speaker 6 (02:17:45):
They they don't. The cartels don't like uh Trump.

Speaker 3 (02:17:50):
So that's reassuring to hear as I go to Mexico.

Speaker 7 (02:17:52):
When you say, oh, oh, well he'll be fine, he'll
be all right. Good, we do me a favor. Will
you leave a contact number? Are your parents worried about
you going to Mexico at all?

Speaker 14 (02:18:05):
You know?

Speaker 3 (02:18:05):
I don't think they probably are.

Speaker 4 (02:18:07):
Do they know you're going to Mexico?

Speaker 24 (02:18:08):
They do?

Speaker 3 (02:18:09):
Okay, I think I've done some things in my life.
They just don't worry anymore. They know I'm good.

Speaker 6 (02:18:15):
You've done things like go to visit guys in other cities, Yes,
take flights to go on. How many of those trips
have happened before your parents finally said all right, we can't.

Speaker 3 (02:18:25):
They all happened before my parents knew that they were happening.

Speaker 6 (02:18:28):
Oh, you didn't tell them.

Speaker 3 (02:18:29):
No, they usually find out on TikTok.

Speaker 7 (02:18:31):
Wait a second, that's bad. Were you going to tell
them on TikTok that you're going to Mexico this Friday?

Speaker 3 (02:18:36):
No, we have a better relationship now, so I told
them a little earlier.

Speaker 6 (02:18:40):
You can't do that. By the way, you can't like
it's your parents.

Speaker 7 (02:18:44):
If do you understand that if Joe, Jacob or Luke
went somewhere like Jacob or Joe Luke, I can't even Luke.

Speaker 6 (02:18:55):
Honestly, I've been doing that since they were babies.

Speaker 7 (02:18:58):
But Luke went to Punta Kana, and he was going
with a bunch of his friends, and Chelsea and I
weren't gonna let him go at first, and he supposedly
was going to try to go anyway. If he would
have done that and I would have found out about it. Oh,
I stopped paying his college.

Speaker 6 (02:19:12):
What's up? Mark? How you doing.

Speaker 18 (02:19:15):
Pretty good?

Speaker 10 (02:19:16):
Good morning guys, How are you good? What's going on
as far as that concerned, going on that vacation? I
think with Thecres track record, find somebody with a vote.

Speaker 6 (02:19:29):
That is true. Bianca scares me.

Speaker 7 (02:19:32):
You know, we're going to Chicago for the Hall of
Fame thing this uh this week, Mark, And did you
know that her dad contacted me about her going off
and doing what she did when she was there for
Lollapalooza last time?

Speaker 3 (02:19:44):
Did he actually?

Speaker 7 (02:19:44):
And I told I told Al, I said, Al, I
will not allow that to happen. But I'm going to
have a kind of a busy week. So I'm kind
of thinking that maybe since Shannon and Lydia are rooming
with Bianca, that they have to be the ones responsible,
Shannon especially.

Speaker 11 (02:20:01):
She'll me, Yeah, we'll let Shannon.

Speaker 4 (02:20:03):
I already had a talk with my dad.

Speaker 11 (02:20:04):
Actually, my dad lectured me on to not go off.
Tony lectured me on to not go off. So I
have high expectations.

Speaker 6 (02:20:10):
Are you excited to be hanging with these guys? Shannon?

Speaker 4 (02:20:12):
I am actually real? Yeah, we got like a huge room,
like a sweet and so I think it's going to
be really fun.

Speaker 11 (02:20:18):
I'll only be out on the streets until three, not five.

Speaker 4 (02:20:21):
Oh my god, I'm going to bed.

Speaker 9 (02:20:22):
Literally, I'll be you know my but I'll be in
bed by ten oclaw.

Speaker 7 (02:20:24):
Do you remember the trip that she did with Lydia
where she just all of a sudden said, I'm going
out it go out.

Speaker 9 (02:20:32):
In my bed, ut back.

Speaker 4 (02:20:35):
Now you got that Bianca?

Speaker 11 (02:20:36):
I O, I'm good.

Speaker 7 (02:20:38):
Put an air tag on. Yes, maybe we should do
that with Anna. If she goes on this excursion and
no friends want to go with, you got to put an.

Speaker 6 (02:20:45):
Air tag on.

Speaker 3 (02:20:46):
It sounds like I'm bringing Bianca.

Speaker 6 (02:20:47):
Yeah, what's up, Keith?

Speaker 13 (02:20:50):
Oh nothing, Anna, it's Keith. I'm telling you.

Speaker 40 (02:20:55):
Do not go.

Speaker 3 (02:20:56):
Wait, why don't go to the wedding period?

Speaker 13 (02:21:00):
Yeah, if you only you only know the bride grect.

Speaker 3 (02:21:04):
Yeah, she's my good friend though, And.

Speaker 13 (02:21:08):
You can say, well, I'm not trying to get kidnapped
and sold and uh or potentially.

Speaker 6 (02:21:17):
Worried about you to get back to my new career.

Speaker 3 (02:21:22):
I hear you.

Speaker 13 (02:21:23):
Mexico is definitely not the place to go right now,
with the tensions being as what they are. I understand
they probably booked his wedding two years ago.

Speaker 7 (02:21:33):
But here's a year away. But she's got two different
Mexico trips. She's got one this Friday for work. She's
going with the Detroit Pistons and and that. So that's
one that she's doing. But then she's got the second one,
which is a year from now. But you don't think
you don't think she should go even this Friday to
the one.

Speaker 13 (02:21:52):
Oh, if you're going with a huge group of people
like the Pistons, Yeah, they're not going to kidnap the
whole Piston Yeah right, I mean that would that would
be like a declaration of war with Michigan at least.

Speaker 7 (02:22:08):
If they and if they did kidnap one of the wests,
just don't kidnap any of the guys that are like
seven feet tall or whatever.

Speaker 6 (02:22:16):
I would Stewart would not be one. I would kidnap him,
beat the hell out of.

Speaker 40 (02:22:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 29 (02:22:22):
Or you know, they'll probably go for like Kate, you know.

Speaker 6 (02:22:25):
Yeah. So it's like, you know, Keith, what kind of
weed are you doing?

Speaker 40 (02:22:30):
Man?

Speaker 32 (02:22:30):
What?

Speaker 14 (02:22:30):
What?

Speaker 6 (02:22:30):
What kind of what do we got in our system?
This morning?

Speaker 13 (02:22:35):
I sam smoking some Durban poison.

Speaker 6 (02:22:39):
Poison?

Speaker 22 (02:22:40):
Is it?

Speaker 32 (02:22:40):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (02:22:41):
Is it into God?

Speaker 42 (02:22:43):
What is it?

Speaker 13 (02:22:44):
It is sativa and it's only one of very few
African land races that was born and bred there.

Speaker 6 (02:22:52):
Interesting, Well, it sounds to me like you're not sharing,
and we're very upset with you. Keith.

Speaker 13 (02:22:59):
Uh hey, I got penty to go around.

Speaker 7 (02:23:04):
All right, we'll see you soon then, uh Anna, you
behave yourself when you're on these trips, this trip this Friday,
you better be checking in with us.

Speaker 3 (02:23:12):
Oh, you will be getting a lot of photos.

Speaker 7 (02:23:14):
We we want, well more than just photos, because somebody
could steal your phone and just be sending us photos.
We want to hear your voice took.

Speaker 6 (02:23:21):
The date.

Speaker 3 (02:23:22):
Did you hope for the same thing from all of you?

Speaker 6 (02:23:24):
And we will we will. Did you get the international
plan yet on your cell phone?

Speaker 14 (02:23:27):
No?

Speaker 3 (02:23:27):
Thank you for reminding.

Speaker 7 (02:23:28):
You got to do that otherwise you're gonna be paying
through the nose Sometimes I actually do that. I pay
through the nose when I get close to windsor so.

Speaker 34 (02:23:35):
All right, eight.

Speaker 5 (02:23:40):
Four four six six five six.

Speaker 43 (02:23:43):
This is Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 6 (02:23:46):
All right, it is Mojo in the morning. So I
just got word about something here. You ready for this?

Speaker 7 (02:23:52):
Just got word from the building manager about why our
heat is not working. Building manager Brandon says, sorry about
your problem with the heat. We had somebody that went
on the roof this weekend and pushed a button that
should not have been pushed. We're going to get up
there right now as soon as we can, and we
are going to get that thing working for you.

Speaker 3 (02:24:12):
I know someone who was on the roof.

Speaker 6 (02:24:14):
Who was on the roof this weekend.

Speaker 3 (02:24:15):
Didn't our very own Zach post a picture up there?

Speaker 6 (02:24:18):
Where is Zach?

Speaker 3 (02:24:20):
I thought of the roof?

Speaker 6 (02:24:22):
Where is he? Zach? Come in the studio here? Oh Jesus, Zach.
It couldn't have been Zach.

Speaker 13 (02:24:32):
My god, youst exact.

Speaker 6 (02:24:40):
Brandon sent me a tex Did you see this? Do
you hear this? Taxt?

Speaker 14 (02:24:42):
No?

Speaker 7 (02:24:43):
Brandon just said, hey, really sorry about the air this morning.
Somebody went on the roof this weekend and pushed a
button that they shouldn't have and knocked us off. He
said that they plugged in something that caused a short
to the system.

Speaker 15 (02:24:56):
Now, I know you're messing with me, but that's funny.

Speaker 6 (02:24:59):
Have you talked to Brandon? No, hold on, let's call him.

Speaker 3 (02:25:01):
Why do you think he's messing.

Speaker 42 (02:25:02):
With you because Nick plugged in like we had to
go through a door to like you were on the roof.
We were on the roof, we were partying.

Speaker 4 (02:25:10):
We were I don't even know you could go in
the roof day.

Speaker 15 (02:25:14):
You can do whatever you want in this building as
long as you get permission.

Speaker 6 (02:25:18):
Are you the reason why I'm sweating my ass off
this morning? Hold on, he's not answering.

Speaker 15 (02:25:24):
I think it was Nick's problem. I think it was that.

Speaker 41 (02:25:28):
I got I got a guy on his way there
right now at justice temperature, justice understanding, Thank you Jesus.

Speaker 6 (02:25:34):
Real real quick.

Speaker 7 (02:25:36):
Zach doesn't doesn't believe me that him going on the
roof this weekend screwed up our air conditioning stuff.

Speaker 6 (02:25:42):
Will you explain what he did?

Speaker 18 (02:25:45):
I don't know what he did.

Speaker 6 (02:25:46):
I couldn't tell you, but you want, I do know
what he did?

Speaker 14 (02:25:50):
You want up put a little show.

Speaker 6 (02:25:51):
But he was on the seventh part of the roof.

Speaker 15 (02:25:53):
It was Nick, It wasn't me. Yeah, yeah, I can't
speak on that.

Speaker 7 (02:26:00):
On the day that the mayor comes into the studio.
Zach screwed up our age.

Speaker 6 (02:26:04):
Vacuumnit. I didn't do it.

Speaker 7 (02:26:06):
All right, we'll talk to you, Brandon, thank you for
getting those guys in here. Okay, I appreciate it all right.
So what were you up on the roof for?

Speaker 42 (02:26:15):
So I got a permission that me and Nick could
play a DJ set. Yeah, yeah, So he brought his
DJ deck and a speaker, and I put the speaker
close to the brewery so they could hear us jam.

Speaker 6 (02:26:29):
So wait, sweet pictures two dudes just hanging up on
the roof playing DJ and his girlfriend. But I came
sol really was it just? It was just the three
of us? And then not his her mom came like
to pick us up, wait, saying, is this like a thing,
Like you guys want to go up on the roof
and do a DJ set or something?

Speaker 42 (02:26:46):
It would be kind of cool. Like I do have
something to tell you though. While I was up there,
I noticed while I was posting photos because I don't
go with Facebook often, but I went on a story
and and it was an elementary friend, same rooftop, But
they were stripping on our roof.

Speaker 15 (02:27:07):
Five days ago.

Speaker 6 (02:27:09):
Strippers.

Speaker 4 (02:27:10):
Wa wait, wait, wait, there's so much to that.

Speaker 6 (02:27:13):
There's so much so wait, not when you were up
there where they were stripping, They were up there last
weekend up on the roof, probably like three days strippers
getting up on the roof of our bill.

Speaker 15 (02:27:22):
I don't know, they don't I don't know who they know.
We have no mutual friends.

Speaker 3 (02:27:26):
But this is a beautiful pull up.

Speaker 5 (02:27:29):
There's a pool.

Speaker 6 (02:27:29):
Who DJ there? Said?

Speaker 15 (02:27:30):
There was no DJ, there was nothing.

Speaker 3 (02:27:32):
Bring them next?

Speaker 6 (02:27:35):
Strippers on the skyline.

Speaker 4 (02:27:36):
Did you know that your elementary school from a stripper?

Speaker 6 (02:27:40):
Yeah, that's what I was going to ask you. What
elementary school? Elementary school? What proud year graduating? Oh my,
let's answer, grab grab.

Speaker 4 (02:27:55):
Brainon we got it showing.

Speaker 3 (02:27:58):
I want to see the video.

Speaker 6 (02:27:59):
Yes, I'm on the air, by the way, I know
you're on there. You're talking about the strip on the roof. Yeah,
do you know her? I didn't tell you about that?

Speaker 50 (02:28:07):
Yeah, I let her.

Speaker 2 (02:28:10):
Let her.

Speaker 15 (02:28:11):
I put Brandon on spot.

Speaker 6 (02:28:15):
You're gonna talk to Malcolm about it.

Speaker 14 (02:28:16):
He said he didn't care, But yeah, I did not know.
This goes for Sewan.

Speaker 6 (02:28:19):
He asked me.

Speaker 2 (02:28:20):
He's like, I got a girl that wants to do
a photo shoot on the roof.

Speaker 14 (02:28:22):
Is that cool?

Speaker 5 (02:28:22):
I was like, yeah, what is it for?

Speaker 15 (02:28:24):
You know he knows where in there?

Speaker 6 (02:28:27):
Dumb that dumb bad numb that real quick hold on
a second dump radio, just real quick. I want to ask.

Speaker 7 (02:28:38):
I want to do the topic of when did you
find out that your friend from grade school or high
school is the stripper? Zach found out he was up
on the roof, and I want to know, like, did
I ever tell you may No? Oh my god, my
story is the greatest story ever. So I got married,
and when I got married, I found or my brother

(02:29:03):
found strippers to come and perform for me at Tonino's
Pizza Rea. Yes, Tonino's Pizzeria is a place in Orland Park, Illinois.
I don't even think it's there anymore. And they had
a back room with one of those what do they
call the doors that are they like pocket doors pocket
doors pocket pocket door, but unfolded like an accordion.

Speaker 6 (02:29:23):
And that was the back room we had the party at.

Speaker 7 (02:29:26):
And Tony said, you can have the party at Tonino's,
but if you have strippers, you got to close the door.
So my brother Tony or my brother Bill hired the
strippers for the thing. The stripper shows up. It's the
girl that I went to Columbia College with and sat
next to. She shows up and I'm like, we went

(02:29:49):
to college together. Things are going well, right, so but
you just got married at that time. No, I was
getting married. This is my bachelor party.

Speaker 15 (02:29:59):
It's crazy.

Speaker 6 (02:29:59):
Wo we got a couple, We got a couple extra
large pizzas.

Speaker 4 (02:30:03):
With Orland Park is permanently close it. I was gonna
say we could go there this weekend. Is it that
back room to celebrate your.

Speaker 7 (02:30:14):
I think she's still stripping, but but I thought that
that was actually kind of funny, like all of a sudden,
the stripper that's there, and she had whipped cream and stuff,
and it was weird.

Speaker 6 (02:30:24):
And Chelsea was at my bachelor party.

Speaker 4 (02:30:26):
Oh, we got.

Speaker 7 (02:30:27):
To have Chelsea tell the story to you guys sometime
this weekend. Chelsea tells the story. I invited her to
my strip to my bachelor party, and she showed up.
I didn't know there was gonna be strippers there. And
Chelsea showed up at the moment that the stripper was
there with a.

Speaker 43 (02:30:42):
Thought.

Speaker 6 (02:30:42):
She had, h what's the whip cream that comes in
the can? She had ready whip out there.

Speaker 7 (02:30:50):
All right, So did this girl when you grew up
with this girl, did you ever think, like when you
guys were in language arts, class that.

Speaker 15 (02:30:57):
She know, but she she's gorgeous. Now, yeah, my god.

Speaker 3 (02:31:02):
And that's a great idea for a shoot like you
see the skyscrapers in the back.

Speaker 15 (02:31:08):
It's pretty.

Speaker 3 (02:31:08):
I thought it was innovative.

Speaker 7 (02:31:10):
Here's what I want to do for Zach. If we
hit number one. We got to hit number one. We
haven't been number one in a way a bit. David
Chuck have beaten us at number one. I want to
hit number one. These listeners have got to do it
for us. We're going to have a number one party
for Zach, not for anybody else. We're hiring the stripper
from his grave on the roof.

Speaker 3 (02:31:29):
How many people can fit on the roof.

Speaker 15 (02:31:31):
Probably we'll invite listeners with it being safe, probably like fifty.

Speaker 6 (02:31:36):
I want to. I want to.

Speaker 3 (02:31:37):
We need a bigger roof.

Speaker 7 (02:31:38):
I want to invite the stripper to come strip for
Zach as a congratulatory Zach. We're number one, dude, let's
do it. We're going to exact there with whip cream too.

Speaker 15 (02:31:47):
Do you think a discount because she knows me or
how does that work?

Speaker 14 (02:31:51):
No?

Speaker 4 (02:31:51):
No, we don't want we're going to make Colleen paper.

Speaker 6 (02:31:56):
We don't. We don't do half price. We do full
price for this. What's up, Dana? How you doing?

Speaker 29 (02:32:05):
Hey, Mojo? So this is much worse than like running
into somebody from high school or elementary school. I was
at a script club on Ford Road by Southfield and.

Speaker 18 (02:32:20):
I was like, you know, hey, look, let's girl over here, you.

Speaker 29 (02:32:23):
Know, And next thing you know, she turns around and
looks at me. It was my cousin.

Speaker 6 (02:32:33):
Did you have her dance for you or no?

Speaker 28 (02:32:36):
No?

Speaker 29 (02:32:37):
She actually she said, I gotta do my set. I'm
going to have this girl dance for you in the
champagne room. And so that's so that's where that went.

Speaker 7 (02:32:46):
Oh my god, could you imagine your cousin dancing for you?
What's up, Heather?

Speaker 15 (02:32:50):
How you doing?

Speaker 6 (02:32:52):
Good morning?

Speaker 3 (02:32:52):
I'm good.

Speaker 18 (02:32:52):
How are you guys?

Speaker 6 (02:32:53):
Fantastic? What's going on?

Speaker 22 (02:32:56):
Well?

Speaker 41 (02:32:56):
I found out one of my high school classmates and
you group members from the church was a stripper.

Speaker 51 (02:33:02):
When I saw them on your website from one of
the Naughty Moms events up.

Speaker 6 (02:33:08):
That was awesome.

Speaker 3 (02:33:10):
Way send a picture to a friend that was like,
is that who we think it is?

Speaker 7 (02:33:13):
It's just like, oh my god, we used to have
guy strippers on the Naughty Mom's Night out what this was? Yeah, yeah,
I'll never forget. There was one stripper that could put
a candle out with his penis. Yeah, he had a
candle there and he would play what was the song,
candle in the wind.

Speaker 6 (02:33:34):
That he was playing a song?

Speaker 7 (02:33:36):
Or he would and he would play the song and
he would take his wiener and go and it would
it would knock the the the actual flame out.

Speaker 6 (02:33:44):
What's going on? How you doing? Lexi?

Speaker 40 (02:33:46):
This was hello, how are you?

Speaker 6 (02:33:52):
What's going on?

Speaker 25 (02:33:54):
Talking about strippers and being at workplaces. I found out
that my co worker is a.

Speaker 6 (02:33:59):
Strip Oh okay, not too all.

Speaker 25 (02:34:02):
The ordinary, but we are lunch ladies out of elementary school.

Speaker 18 (02:34:11):
Listen, that is by day and heroes by night.

Speaker 6 (02:34:16):
Oh my, you know what I think?

Speaker 7 (02:34:21):
That that's you know, we need to pay our lunch
ladies more money, right, yes, we do. Thank you, Thank you, Lexi.
I appreciate you so much.

Speaker 25 (02:34:28):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (02:34:28):
Take care.

Speaker 5 (02:34:29):
Msha in the Morning always says you can't control what
happens in your life, but you can't control what goes
in and out of your mouth. That's what she says,
And sometimes it all happens really fast.

Speaker 2 (02:34:39):
This is Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 7 (02:34:42):
All right, We're gona giveaway a pair dingle ball you
just heard, got a lot of people come into it,
and you have a chance to win a brand new
car too from Summit Place Kia eight twenty twenty six
evy nine that has a seventy thousand dollars SUV eight
four to four Mojo Live any fifth color eight four
four six sixty five sixty five four eight Good luck.

Speaker 14 (02:35:04):
We joor in the mornings dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 7 (02:35:06):
It seems like we just did the dirty p we
did and we didn't do it till like forty five
or something like that. But this is the last one
of the morning, and then we got a lot of
good stuff to talk about with you.

Speaker 4 (02:35:16):
I mean Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The photos and videos of them holding hands in Paris
over the weekend, marking their first public appearance as a couple,
was all I was unheard about all weekend.

Speaker 9 (02:35:30):
The paparazzi was just loving it.

Speaker 4 (02:35:32):
They were exiting the a cabaret show at the Crazy
Horse in Paris to celebrate Katie's forty first birthday, got
into a car together, so it is official that they
are an item. At this point.

Speaker 6 (02:35:47):
They're so cute. They're the cutest two girls I've ever
seen together.

Speaker 4 (02:35:50):
It's funny that she was leading him everywhere that night.

Speaker 6 (02:35:54):
Yeah, I actually think that what are people in Canada
think of him? Do they like him?

Speaker 4 (02:36:00):
So I can only speak to what my husband and
his family thought of him, and they were not.

Speaker 7 (02:36:05):
Not big fans because I have him or his dad.
And the reason you bring it up is because Wes
is from Toronto. Is Wes excited for the World Series?

Speaker 34 (02:36:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:36:16):
I mean he I don't know that he's the biggest
baseball fan, but like he had the games on this weekend.

Speaker 7 (02:36:21):
Because my neighbor Arvin is a huge He's Canadian. He
is a huge from Toronto, huge fan.

Speaker 6 (02:36:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (02:36:28):
Guy wears maple leaves and stuff all the time, so
excited about, you know, this World Series. And after Game one,
I think everybody in Toronto was basically, you know, they
were burning down in the city.

Speaker 6 (02:36:41):
They were so excited over what was going on.

Speaker 7 (02:36:43):
Game two, when this guy, this Japanese pitcher, pitched a
complete game. I mean that guy was so good. It
made me honestly pissed off at aj Hinge when I
was watching that game because I'm like.

Speaker 6 (02:36:56):
Why did you pull our like he pulls guys out
too soon. Yeah, they let him pitch the entire game.
He complete game.

Speaker 9 (02:37:02):
Then, well we're talking about game two.

Speaker 4 (02:37:03):
Did anybody else see Colonel Sanders, Like JFC Colonel Sanders
behind with Colonel Sanders.

Speaker 43 (02:37:10):
So this guy was so.

Speaker 4 (02:37:11):
Legit go tee, white suit, black tie, looked exactly like him.
It was not a random fan. This guy was sent
to the game by KFC. It was a big promotional thing.
I guess they changed the name of their KFC Zinger
Sandwich to the Dinger, and so they sent the Colonel

(02:37:32):
to Game two to hype the message. So had they
changed the name.

Speaker 7 (02:37:35):
I heard a rumor, and I don't know if this
is true, but I heard a rumor that there was
some kind of Colonel Sander curse, curse of the Colonel,
curse of the Colonel. The It just happened that the
Dodgers had a Japanese pitcher pitching, but back in Japan
there was some kind of Colonel Sanders thing that brought
a curse to them.

Speaker 4 (02:37:53):
The Dodgers actually have three players who come from Japan's NBL. Wow,
and this curse of the colonel is like this Japanese
legend of the ghost of Colonel Sanders, and they say
that the ghosts cursed the Tigers, a team in Japan's
andpl for throwing his statue in a connect There's like
some full, big story, but like all it all made sense.

Speaker 7 (02:38:16):
So another quick little, a little thing with the Dodgers
and all these Japanese players, they spend more money on
shoe heyo Tani than the Detroit Tigers having actual staff,
Like you know, that's how much they make. They make
more money off of show heyo Tani than all the
other leagues, all the other teams in the league make

(02:38:37):
in their merch just in merch sales. That's that's how
big of a profit he makes for them.

Speaker 6 (02:38:42):
It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:38:43):
Actress Biju Phillips has filed to legally change the last
name of four eleven year old daughter from her locked
up ex husband, former That seventies show star Danny Masterson.

Speaker 9 (02:38:53):
Do you guys remember that story.

Speaker 4 (02:38:54):
He's serving three decades in prison after being convicted on
two counts of rape. So Bizu divorced Danny after his conviction,
and now she changed their little girl's name so that
she does not have her.

Speaker 9 (02:39:08):
Dad's last name.

Speaker 4 (02:39:09):
And I'm supposed to play this Pat McAfee clip and
it has something to do What does it have to
do with the NBA betting?

Speaker 7 (02:39:15):
Yeah, and everybody's been talking Chauncey Billups and the you
know the thing that happened to Chauncey former Pistons. Great,
but everybody was talking about Chauncey Billups and his his
gambling issues.

Speaker 6 (02:39:25):
Chauncey Billups here, let me play this for This is
actually kind of funny.

Speaker 7 (02:39:28):
So Pat McAfee, uh making fun of Chauncey using him
as a punchline when he was talking about teams that
potentially have one loss and teams that have two losses making.

Speaker 6 (02:39:40):
It to the college football playoff. So hold on a second, hair,
this is where's my phone? It's not running. I don't
forget it.

Speaker 18 (02:39:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:39:49):
Pillups hope her game. A lot of people are betting
on two percent chances unless you're Chauncey Billups. Out of
Chauncey Billups hope her game.

Speaker 29 (02:39:59):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:39:59):
It was get some big bats. All things are just
not likely. Everybody kind of a ridge.

Speaker 7 (02:40:05):
I talked to a guy that works and I won't
say exactly who it was, but it works for I
won't say what it is. He told me that he
thinks that Chauncey Billups literally had these guys basically forcing
him to do these games. That he said that Chauncey
had not was not this kind of guy, got so

(02:40:26):
caught up and got so caught up in it, owed
them so much money, the the Gambinos and all these
other families, and that he was so fearful for his
you know, family and him and that's the reason why
he got involved in this whole thing too. Like that
that Chauncey is not just doing it because he's making
a little bit of money here and a little bit
money there.

Speaker 6 (02:40:44):
That it was like threatening of his life.

Speaker 4 (02:40:45):
But what was the start of him even I think
he probably owed money. Maybe no, but that's what I'm saying, Like,
what was the start of his like gambling connection to
these these mafia family.

Speaker 7 (02:40:56):
It all starts with gambling, and then you owe, you
owe a debt to the the person that you're gambling with.
You go to these poker games. You don't you think
that you're taking on the casinos. You're not taking on
the casinos in private poker games. You're taking on the
rich Gambinos that own this or whoever the family is
that owns.

Speaker 9 (02:41:11):
That's crazy to me.

Speaker 7 (02:41:12):
By the way, is there anybody with a legit name
of Gambino that lives in our listening there, because that's
got to be a tough name to have.

Speaker 6 (02:41:17):
Yeah, yeah, did you imagine a teacher?

Speaker 18 (02:41:20):
Like?

Speaker 6 (02:41:20):
Should I even fill this? Kid? I'm a Gambier?

Speaker 4 (02:41:23):
Here's anything from today's show.

Speaker 9 (02:41:24):
Listen to the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 5 (02:41:27):
Celebrity jerk directly is Mochi in the morning's Dirty on
the Dirty.

Speaker 7 (02:41:33):
The other story, by the way, the other story this
weekend that was crazy as they fired another fifty million
dollars coach in college football who maybe will be the
next Michigan State coach when we fire him. So Brian Kelly,
LSU's coach got fired over the weekend or is getting
fired this morning? What's up, Samantha.

Speaker 18 (02:41:54):
Hia, You're a winner?

Speaker 6 (02:41:56):
Congratulations, thank you.

Speaker 26 (02:42:00):
I'm trying.

Speaker 18 (02:42:00):
Did you guys.

Speaker 7 (02:42:01):
Started I go every year jingle Ball? Which one's been
your favorite jingle ball that you've been to so far?

Speaker 18 (02:42:08):
Teddy Slim?

Speaker 7 (02:42:09):
Great, that was last year. So we got to top
that this year with Nelly and shine Doown. Hey, shout
out to Shindown. By the way, did you see that
this weekend?

Speaker 34 (02:42:18):
I did not know.

Speaker 7 (02:42:20):
Hold on a second, let me see if I can
find that Shine Down and the lead singer is Shineedown
sent us a little message.

Speaker 2 (02:42:28):
I love that.

Speaker 43 (02:42:29):
Hold on a second.

Speaker 6 (02:42:30):
Where is that?

Speaker 43 (02:42:31):
Hold on here?

Speaker 5 (02:42:32):
Okay, Detroit, it is Saturday.

Speaker 13 (02:42:35):
We in here getting it done.

Speaker 5 (02:42:37):
Big question because on.

Speaker 6 (02:42:39):
December ninth of this year, we are going to play
our very.

Speaker 5 (02:42:42):
First jingle ball in Detroit. So what would you guys
and girls like us to play in that set list?

Speaker 6 (02:42:51):
This is our very first time, quite a few songs
to choose from.

Speaker 5 (02:42:55):
But as a matter of fact, I'll put it on
Mojo in the Morning Channel ninety five. What would you
guys and girls like us to play during our set
in Detroit? Let us know and we'll put it together.

Speaker 38 (02:43:08):
Detroit, we can't wait to see you December the ninth,
little Caesars Arena.

Speaker 6 (02:43:13):
Let's go by the way, that's pretty. Is that awesome?

Speaker 14 (02:43:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (02:43:17):
Right them up.

Speaker 22 (02:43:18):
I'm super excited.

Speaker 7 (02:43:19):
I will thank you at shine Down on Instagram and
telling that Mojo in the Morning. We're talking about him
this morning and telling you what to have them, saying,
so hold on one second, we'll drive back.

Speaker 5 (02:43:31):
So what if I got lost in a corn maze
design for a six year old?

Speaker 2 (02:43:35):
This is mojo in the morning, all right.

Speaker 7 (02:43:37):
I want you to tell us if you think that
this is a fireable offense. Okay, I want to know
if this is a fireable offense, should Shannon fire her
babysitter of her kids, because what did she do?

Speaker 4 (02:43:53):
She showed up to my house wearing a Dave and
chuck the freak sweatshirt.

Speaker 6 (02:44:01):
That's insane. Why was he do that?

Speaker 4 (02:44:02):
Because she said her favorite question that.

Speaker 37 (02:44:04):
Don't even make sense. I don't care how comfortable it is.
That's crazy, that's kind of crazy.

Speaker 9 (02:44:09):
I think she might.

Speaker 6 (02:44:11):
I think she might listen to that's amazing.

Speaker 3 (02:44:14):
Listen right now to us, or listen to this to them.

Speaker 6 (02:44:17):
So she showed up wearing a David.

Speaker 9 (02:44:19):
I said, you cannot bring.

Speaker 6 (02:44:22):
That trash in my house. First off, let me just
say Penis. Secondly, let me just say let me just
say that is a fireable offense. That is a fireable offense.
Although I will say this to you and I want
I'm gonna go on record to say this. Can I
tell you the sweetest note that I got from Dave?

(02:44:45):
Did I tell you guys about the cancer?

Speaker 9 (02:44:47):
I don't think you said it on the on the show?

Speaker 7 (02:44:49):
Did I tell I didn't tell the listeners? I got
a I got a d M from David Chuck the
freak in Dave, especially Dave. It was from Dave Hunter
and he shared that he and his wife Amber, we're
thinking of Chelsea and all she's going through. And I'm
thinking of Dave and Amber because if I I just

(02:45:11):
wanted to share with them that that I did not
know that those guys had gone through a little bit
of a battle with with health and stuff.

Speaker 6 (02:45:19):
And so you know what, she can wear it for
a day?

Speaker 13 (02:45:23):
No No.

Speaker 4 (02:45:25):
I called Lydia and I said, Lydia, do we have
any extra Mojo in the morning hoodies that are very
cozy because we need to swap this out.

Speaker 9 (02:45:34):
So I got her one.

Speaker 3 (02:45:35):
Let's get her emoji versus everyone or everybody that's it.

Speaker 4 (02:45:38):
By the way, we should get her one of those.

Speaker 6 (02:45:40):
So what would be more interesting with this whole topic?
And I want to know this is my topic.

Speaker 7 (02:45:46):
Have you ever had somebody that works for you or
somebody that's a friend of yours wearing your competitive or
competitors thing. You know, like if you work for General Motors,
you have ever have like somebody that's like your sister
driving around in a Volkswagon or something. What if David
Chuck the Freak know or knew that she was your

(02:46:08):
babysitter somehow and sent her that thing, That would be
the most genius thing I ever would honestly if they
did that, I would give them props, because now what
I'm thinking is I need to find out who babysits
Dave and Chuck the Freak kids, and.

Speaker 6 (02:46:22):
I'm gonna send them. I'm going to send them all
kinds of merch who teaches their children's school.

Speaker 7 (02:46:29):
Yeah, Yeah, wouldn't that be great? I think that would
be actually kind of genius of you to pull that
thing off. You know, do you remember the one time
that we actually had It wasn't Dave and Chuck the Freak,
It was I forget who the morning show was. There
was somebody in the market here that came in, somebody
that worked for us, an intern that worked for us
back in the day, that came in wearing one of

(02:46:50):
the competitor's shirts.

Speaker 9 (02:46:51):
That's just at I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:46:54):
I don't even think it was AMP.

Speaker 7 (02:46:55):
I would have would not surprise me if it was
an AMP, sure, because those guys had more money for
merch than any radio company. Yeah, they may be the
reason why Enterkin went out of business or had bankruptcy issues,
but they used to have more merch than I've ever
seen a radio station. Have purple shout out to UH
to rest in peace, to Rebecca falls Rebecca. Rebecca was

(02:47:17):
always the master of doing that. But I I would
like to know if no, it was a DV. It
might have been a DVD, might have been a Blaine
and Allison back in the day when Alison was over
with Blaine and they came to they came to answer
phones for us that day, and they were wearing a
freaking yeah Josh us. That's Josh's opinion. By the way,

(02:47:38):
Josh looks like a homeless today. He looks homeless. Josh Josh.

Speaker 6 (02:47:48):
Josh host of one O six seven Wheels, The Josh
Innis Show. Josh Channon tell the story of what your
babysitter do.

Speaker 4 (02:47:58):
My babysitter shows up to work and she comes in
the morning so that I can go to work and
my husband can you know, do his thing, And she
was wearing a Dave and Chuck the freak sweatshirt.

Speaker 6 (02:48:09):
Babiesit just kind of bitchy.

Speaker 9 (02:48:12):
I love his poetaste.

Speaker 6 (02:48:15):
Would you let me ask you that in.

Speaker 15 (02:48:16):
Her defense, there's no w llz T shirt anywhere.

Speaker 7 (02:48:20):
No, But honestly, would you in the morning if she
was watching, if she's watching your dog, okay, she's dog
sitting for you, she shows up, she's getting paid by
you and Jilly to watch, would you fire her ass
on the spot?

Speaker 6 (02:48:33):
I think I'd have to, But I'll tell you this.

Speaker 39 (02:48:35):
So once when I was in Philadelphia and those people
are nuts, okay, and I was like a big deal.
And you might look at me now and be like, oh,
this guy comes to work in uggs. You kind of
look homeless to day listens to your show. And there
was a time though that I was almost keV I
know this is shocking.

Speaker 6 (02:48:50):
I was almost something.

Speaker 5 (02:48:51):
Once.

Speaker 39 (02:48:51):
I was a big deal in Philadelphia for like five
minutes and I had this competition, was a real radio war,
like like the guy I was going up against. His
brother was a guy inn acologist, so he used to
call him like a vagina doctor and then he called
wanted to fight me, and like everything I did was
in the news there.

Speaker 5 (02:49:07):
It was wild.

Speaker 39 (02:49:08):
So his name was mike Missanelli was this guy's name.
They call him Mikey Miss. So one day I order
food from like a delivery place. Guy delivers food to
my house and he looks at me and says, hey,
a hole, I'm team Mikey Miss. And I'm like, I
don't think I'm gonna.

Speaker 6 (02:49:22):
Eat this, So I know what that's like. So sort
of yeah, I think that was a bitchy move on
her part. I think she's got to be aware of
who you work for.

Speaker 39 (02:49:34):
You're very famous, so you know you've got to By
the way, I told you, I've never met Shannon's husband.

Speaker 2 (02:49:40):
What a good looking guy.

Speaker 14 (02:49:42):
Like.

Speaker 6 (02:49:42):
I creep on them on Instagram and I'm like, they're
they're like out of an ellll Bean cattalog. It is
kind of crazy, isn't it. They seriously look they they
almost look like they were cast in a movie together, right,
Like they need to star in like a movie with
like Christmas special, like some a whole home, like it's

(02:50:04):
a radio Christmas or something like that.

Speaker 9 (02:50:06):
Oh my god, make it happen.

Speaker 7 (02:50:08):
Jo Josh, I want to tell you with the Shannon thing,
I don't even care if they if this babysitter is
the best of my kids and my kids like, I
don't even care about that at this point right now,
no longer. And as far as food goes, I have
had a door dash guy that pulled up listening like
cranking smell the weed to cranking riff, and I did

(02:50:31):
not want to eat the food because I thought this
guy right here first on foremost my you know, food smells.

Speaker 6 (02:50:37):
Like supposed to know that, like is your your door
dash listed as no? But I just I to me,
I'm very I'm very competitive. I don't like it. That's
how you're in the Hall of Fame. I'll be honest
with you. I don't even want people listening to your
show like I you don't have no no, no, no, no,
you're doing great. You're doing great. Sure, just stay where

(02:50:57):
you are, stay in your lane, Stay in your lane.

Speaker 5 (02:51:00):
I wear my ugs.

Speaker 6 (02:51:00):
Do your part. You can.

Speaker 39 (02:51:03):
My wife's like going to the Mojo thing, I'm like,
I'll take it, and she's like, you don't have any
nice clothes.

Speaker 6 (02:51:07):
I'm like, but I have ugs, so I have clo.

Speaker 7 (02:51:11):
Did you this outfit that you're wearing right now? Did
you plan that outfit when you woke up this morning?

Speaker 3 (02:51:18):
This is exactly what I slept. How mad were you
when you walked in and it was eighty nine degrees
and you had to.

Speaker 39 (02:51:25):
Wear sweats and ugs and it stayed eighty eight degrees
in that room until ten minutes?

Speaker 7 (02:51:29):
All right, all right, here's a question I want to ask.
I want to throw this out there. Josh was wearing
this when he went to bed. Is there any listeners
that are at work right now? We're going to work
in the clothes that they slept in, So who does that?

Speaker 6 (02:51:42):
I'm going to smell so sweat my in this? There
is some kind of I don't know, not right about
wearing what you slept in. Do you not say you're
not right.

Speaker 39 (02:51:56):
About waking up at three forty five or four of
the morning for after drinking a lot of bush lights?

Speaker 18 (02:52:03):
But I do it.

Speaker 6 (02:52:04):
I'm not going to be judged by the people. Eight
four four Mojo Live eight four four six sixty five
six five four eight lydia. See if you can find
anybody that's listening that is wearing the same outfit that
they went to bed in last night, and they're wearing
it right now while they're at work, and anybody that's
working with that person, you're smelling their bed from last night.

Speaker 5 (02:52:24):
Detroit, Don't Whiskey.

Speaker 6 (02:52:29):
Show three Great station, one stupid show? How good the
show is?

Speaker 2 (02:52:35):
Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 6 (02:52:36):
Lie, you know it's ten o'clock.

Speaker 2 (02:52:40):
You never know.

Speaker 6 (02:52:40):
They may all all these people.

Speaker 7 (02:52:42):
I would think that the people that do that, that
wear the same clothes don't start working till like two
or four, like they're the people that sleep all day.

Speaker 6 (02:52:48):
Look, no one's here when I get here except you guys.

Speaker 37 (02:52:52):
Real quick though, I'm with Josh on the It hasn't
been a lot of tongs, maybe a handful of tons.
But if for sod en rolled in here with the
same at least answered shirt I had on from the
night before.

Speaker 3 (02:53:02):
I'm shocked that you all even wear pants and shirts?
Is that I'm trying to wear nothing?

Speaker 6 (02:53:08):
Hold on? And I don't want you're like a little sister.
We don't want to be thinking of you like this.
What's going on? K?

Speaker 5 (02:53:14):
How you doing?

Speaker 14 (02:53:16):
Hi?

Speaker 31 (02:53:16):
Guys?

Speaker 13 (02:53:16):
Good morning, Good morning?

Speaker 6 (02:53:18):
What's okay?

Speaker 18 (02:53:20):
So I turned Moragul off for a second. When I
turned it back up.

Speaker 31 (02:53:22):
I was here at Mojo saying Liveral wears their clothes slipping.

Speaker 18 (02:53:25):
It looks like I'm like, wow, how do he knows me?

Speaker 6 (02:53:28):
So you're wearing everything that you slept in last night?

Speaker 13 (02:53:32):
Uh?

Speaker 31 (02:53:32):
Not everything?

Speaker 26 (02:53:34):
Just my shirt in saying bra, I mean I show
it before bab, but I didn't get I woke up.

Speaker 20 (02:53:39):
I had to work at like popcock in the morning,
get at fifteen, so I didn'teel like changing.

Speaker 18 (02:53:43):
I just kept it over.

Speaker 6 (02:53:44):
What do you do for a living that you're able
to do this?

Speaker 18 (02:53:48):
Truck driver?

Speaker 6 (02:53:49):
Okay, now you're good. Yeah, you know, seeing many people,
you're good. If you're a truck driver, you can get
away with it because you're just in that thing by yourself.
Right O.

Speaker 24 (02:54:00):
Good.

Speaker 18 (02:54:00):
I got on I got on perfumes, the beauty.

Speaker 7 (02:54:08):
But do you have all that on, like all that versace,
because you smelled from last night and you're just trying
to cover up the smell.

Speaker 18 (02:54:16):
Moo, that's not why you know?

Speaker 6 (02:54:19):
Okay, I don't know why. Yeah, don't do that. You
smell like bad poom poom and versace.

Speaker 7 (02:54:28):
Keep texture here says can't call because I'm at work
and I'm too embarrassed. But I am wearing the same
exact clothes from last night. Another texture here, This is
what hold on? This is eight one zero eight one
zero says I slept in my jeans and my shirt
last night.

Speaker 6 (02:54:43):
Who's jeans? That's fishing? So you roll up and you
just go to work? And what you're gonna that is gross?
How you fall asleep in jeans if you drunk?

Speaker 14 (02:54:54):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (02:54:55):
I do that too.

Speaker 7 (02:54:56):
And the only person that should be wearing the same
clothes that they're wearing a the fireman at a fire station.

Speaker 6 (02:55:01):
You know what I mean, like because you got to
get up and fight fires. But what's up?

Speaker 14 (02:55:05):
Noah?

Speaker 6 (02:55:05):
How you doing?

Speaker 14 (02:55:07):
Hey?

Speaker 13 (02:55:08):
Are you guys doing good?

Speaker 6 (02:55:09):
Are you wearing the same clothes you slept in last night?

Speaker 47 (02:55:12):
I am yeah?

Speaker 40 (02:55:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 29 (02:55:15):
What do you do?

Speaker 6 (02:55:15):
Noah?

Speaker 47 (02:55:18):
So I'm working?

Speaker 6 (02:55:22):
Do you even?

Speaker 5 (02:55:23):
Noah?

Speaker 6 (02:55:23):
Are you going to wear?

Speaker 4 (02:55:24):
Are you okay?

Speaker 6 (02:55:26):
Hopefully not have your machine?

Speaker 14 (02:55:28):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (02:55:28):
His phone cut out?

Speaker 28 (02:55:29):
No?

Speaker 6 (02:55:30):
Say that again.

Speaker 43 (02:55:30):
What do you do for a living?

Speaker 4 (02:55:33):
Uh?

Speaker 22 (02:55:34):
Sales?

Speaker 7 (02:55:35):
Wait, you go in and try to sell people something
and you're wearing the clothes that you slept in last night.
Do you sleep in a suit or what are you sleeping?

Speaker 8 (02:55:44):
Uh?

Speaker 29 (02:55:44):
Take a T shirt and pants, So I don't actively
see clients throughout the day.

Speaker 10 (02:55:51):
I'm just chasing people on LinkedIn and potentially.

Speaker 6 (02:55:54):
Setting a meeting, okay for other days.

Speaker 13 (02:55:57):
So do you don't have a meeting?

Speaker 6 (02:55:58):
Do you work from home?

Speaker 40 (02:56:01):
Oh?

Speaker 13 (02:56:01):
Okay, one more time?

Speaker 6 (02:56:03):
I don't know, but no, you know, is your phone
that bad? Or are you really like on something right now?

Speaker 13 (02:56:11):
It's probably my phone?

Speaker 6 (02:56:13):
Okay? Oh yeah, because it sounds like you're having issues
talking to us. What do you sell? What kind of
stuff do you sell?

Speaker 13 (02:56:21):
Metal casting?

Speaker 14 (02:56:23):
The company is developing like a new engine.

Speaker 29 (02:56:26):
We'll make the prototype parts.

Speaker 6 (02:56:28):
Okay. And is this a normal thing or did you
just fall asleep last night and we're late for work today?

Speaker 13 (02:56:36):
Now it's kind of normal.

Speaker 14 (02:56:37):
There's only one other.

Speaker 6 (02:56:37):
Guy in the office with me, okay, so it doesn't matter.

Speaker 29 (02:56:43):
An hour drive in the morning.

Speaker 7 (02:56:45):
I'm like, no, have you ever listened to David Chuck
the Free Would you like a sweatshirt from them? We're
gonna give one away. Just happens the belonging to Shannon's babysitter.
Are we even on the air right now?

Speaker 9 (02:57:03):
A very easy topic?

Speaker 7 (02:57:04):
I thought this was a way easy topic. Were now
Josh is thinking, we also don't have.

Speaker 6 (02:57:08):
Any this morning.

Speaker 4 (02:57:11):
Maybe when they turned off the heat, they turned off
her signal.

Speaker 6 (02:57:16):
It could be.

Speaker 7 (02:57:17):
It could very well be a lot of textures though, Lydia,
are you having a hard time getting in the answer
to your phones?

Speaker 11 (02:57:22):
Can you hear me?

Speaker 29 (02:57:23):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (02:57:23):
Yeah, they don't.

Speaker 11 (02:57:24):
They don't want to talk today.

Speaker 43 (02:57:25):
I don't know what it is.

Speaker 6 (02:57:26):
I've been going to be given a man, let's let's
read something.

Speaker 39 (02:57:29):
You try giving things away. That's the only way people
call me that. So yeah, give things to them. Oh
nothing the value, but they're losers, they'll take anything.

Speaker 40 (02:57:41):
You.

Speaker 7 (02:57:42):
By the way, need to do a morning broadcast where
people meet you. Have they met you yet? Have you
been out like I know they have them. You have
to meet Josh.

Speaker 4 (02:57:49):
Literally.

Speaker 7 (02:57:50):
I was telling Chelsea, my wife, about Josh yesterday. We
were we were listening to Jilly. Your wife is on
our radio station, right, is that your wife?

Speaker 14 (02:57:58):
You talk about her?

Speaker 7 (02:57:59):
Yeah, if you talk about her on the air and stuff. Yeah,
we used to do a show together. Okay, So I
was talking about Jilly and I said to Chelsea. Chelsea goes, oh,
this this girl sounds really good. I said, that's Jilly
she's Josh Inness's wife and she works on Channel ninety
five to five and Chelsea. Chelsea's, Oh, tell me about Josh.
So I'm talking about you, And I said, he's honestly

(02:58:21):
very funny, very funny guy.

Speaker 6 (02:58:23):
But you have to meet him to understand.

Speaker 3 (02:58:26):
Dating her. After you guys had the show together.

Speaker 39 (02:58:29):
No, I started dating her. We worked together in Houston.
She was doing Top forty and I was doing sports.
And then when we met, and then that was fifteen
years ago.

Speaker 43 (02:58:41):
Years ago.

Speaker 6 (02:58:42):
That's great. It's a lifetime in radio. Yeah, what's up, Chris?

Speaker 29 (02:58:45):
I it was going on Mozoe.

Speaker 6 (02:58:47):
Nothing much, buddy, what's on?

Speaker 19 (02:58:48):
Hey?

Speaker 29 (02:58:49):
I'm actually a fireman. You're saying where what we were out?

Speaker 6 (02:58:52):
Yeah, that's a no go.

Speaker 29 (02:58:54):
Once you're get into some of these homes.

Speaker 44 (02:58:55):
You can't be doing that.

Speaker 7 (02:58:56):
No, So okay, so you actually even fireman sleep and
amas or something you change when the fire call comes in.

Speaker 29 (02:59:02):
Yeah, you drop.

Speaker 10 (02:59:03):
You just drop down to the honey and a T
shirt and throw your clothes on when you get up.

Speaker 6 (02:59:09):
See that, and Josh's over hair, sleeping and his ugs
and his basically sweat pink.

Speaker 39 (02:59:15):
I quite literally just rolled out of bed this morning.
And exactly what I wore all day yesterday. The worst
is this is what he wears to bed. If you
have to go in his house and save him from
a fire, you know what he would do. He would
go to work right after you saved.

Speaker 6 (02:59:27):
Him from the fire.

Speaker 29 (02:59:29):
At least he's dressed. Hey.

Speaker 6 (02:59:31):
Do you ever go to a fire at a house
and have to save somebody and they're completely naked?

Speaker 7 (02:59:37):
I go, that's what I see. That's why I don't
sleep naked. Naked and you gotta wear clothes. I would
wear clothes for that reason. What's up?

Speaker 6 (02:59:47):
But you would wear clothes just out of fear that
your house may catch on fire exactly, and somebody would
have to rescue you and you'd be naked. I don't
want the West Bloomfield Fire Department come into my house
and seeing me naked. What's up in the call?

Speaker 14 (02:59:58):
Hi?

Speaker 24 (02:59:59):
Hi?

Speaker 5 (03:00:00):
How are you good?

Speaker 6 (03:00:01):
What's going on?

Speaker 7 (03:00:01):
Nicole's a bartender and she is going to go to
work this afternoon in the clothes that she just woke
up in.

Speaker 8 (03:00:09):
No.

Speaker 33 (03:00:10):
Well, what happened was I actually worked last night and
then I had to go home and go to sleep
for an hour and a half to get up and
go from other jobs.

Speaker 6 (03:00:18):
Oh wow, wait, so you're wearing your clothes for twenty
four hours?

Speaker 18 (03:00:24):
Yes, but I got a locker at work, so I
went straight in.

Speaker 7 (03:00:28):
What do you wear bartending? I would think that you
would want to wear something kind of sexy.

Speaker 18 (03:00:32):
I wear blue jeans and a D shirt.

Speaker 7 (03:00:35):
Okay, all right, enough for you, Mojo. Yeah, I'd get
a drink from you. Where do you bartend?

Speaker 18 (03:00:45):
Where everybody goes? City limits?

Speaker 7 (03:00:47):
Barn city limits. We're going to come visit you at
city limits, Nicole. All right, and we're gonna go, Nicole.
Is there a dress code? Can I wear sweats?

Speaker 14 (03:00:58):
And?

Speaker 29 (03:01:00):
Wait?

Speaker 6 (03:01:00):
You couldn't get into it? If you wanted to go
to a bar? Could you get in with that outfit
that you're wearing the bars.

Speaker 14 (03:01:05):
I go to.

Speaker 18 (03:01:07):
I got on my T shirt and some blue jeans.
But I had to when I had to, I got
off the bunch and I had to be at the
end job at six o'clock. So I was like, okay,
Dan's see.

Speaker 40 (03:01:18):
Me, and it's okay.

Speaker 18 (03:01:19):
But I got a locker and had thought took care
of my high dreams. So I went and fining got
on the floor.

Speaker 6 (03:01:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (03:01:24):
Kevin, Kevin already asked us somebody about how their coochie
is smelling this morning.

Speaker 6 (03:01:30):
What's up? What's going on?

Speaker 29 (03:01:36):
Reuben?

Speaker 14 (03:01:37):
Hi?

Speaker 23 (03:01:37):
Yeah today?

Speaker 22 (03:01:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 29 (03:01:38):
Yeah, So today's pajama day at work.

Speaker 18 (03:01:41):
So I'm wearing what I wore to bed last.

Speaker 4 (03:01:44):
You gotta put on freshies before you go in.

Speaker 33 (03:01:47):
You have to.

Speaker 6 (03:01:52):
Amazing. All right, buddy, we'll talk to you later. We'll
see uh bye. Today's pajama day here and I heard
for me this is like every other day.

Speaker 5 (03:02:06):
It's the second date update module in the morning.

Speaker 7 (03:02:08):
All right, second date update? Why are you not getting
a callback? We're gonna find out. Skyler is getting ghosted
now after going out on a date that you thought
actually went well, but you didn't think it went like
excessively well like you thought it was just a good date.

Speaker 6 (03:02:25):
Yes, what did you guys do? Skyler?

Speaker 43 (03:02:28):
We went bowling?

Speaker 7 (03:02:30):
Okay, okay, and you guys had pretty good conversation with
each other while you were bowling.

Speaker 3 (03:02:37):
Yeah, you know, it was on and off, but I won.

Speaker 7 (03:02:45):
But I hope that's not the reason why some guys
get competitive, man, I do. We talked about that with
Kevin one time with a date. He gets competitive. He
does not want to see anybody win, not even his kid.
Does Kevin want to see win? All right, let's see
what's going on. We're gonna find out what's happen in here.
Did you guys kiss or hug?

Speaker 44 (03:03:03):
Bye?

Speaker 6 (03:03:03):
What did you guys do at the end of the day?

Speaker 16 (03:03:05):
Kissed?

Speaker 22 (03:03:06):
But that's it?

Speaker 6 (03:03:07):
Okay. Alex is on the phone with us right now. Alex, Hey,
how are we going good? Good to have you on.
Skyler say hi to Alex. Hey, could you hear that? Alex?

Speaker 14 (03:03:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 18 (03:03:23):
I heard it?

Speaker 7 (03:03:24):
Okay, all right? So Skyler was just wondering what's going
on and if everything's okay? Was everything okay? Did you
did you have a good time on the date?

Speaker 26 (03:03:34):
Uh?

Speaker 13 (03:03:35):
Yeah, I had a good time on the day.

Speaker 28 (03:03:37):
So what.

Speaker 14 (03:03:39):
Well?

Speaker 47 (03:03:40):
I you know, I just didn't really like this bracelet
she was wearing.

Speaker 6 (03:03:44):
What she was wearing? A bracelet?

Speaker 43 (03:03:47):
What would Jesus do?

Speaker 2 (03:03:50):
Well?

Speaker 47 (03:03:50):
It was like one of those permanent bracelets.

Speaker 6 (03:03:53):
Oh yeah, what is a permanent bracelet?

Speaker 14 (03:03:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (03:03:56):
It's like a like a usually a gold or a
silver chain link. Can they solder it on you? Like
you have to go somewhere to get it soldered on you?
But you can't take it off.

Speaker 6 (03:04:04):
What's wrong with her wearing a bracelet like that? Why
is that a bad bracelet to wear?

Speaker 47 (03:04:09):
Well, it's from her ex.

Speaker 2 (03:04:12):
How do you know that?

Speaker 4 (03:04:13):
Did you ask?

Speaker 26 (03:04:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 47 (03:04:16):
She told me. She said it was from her ex
from last year.

Speaker 7 (03:04:18):
Yeah, so she's wearing a bracelet that he gave her
and it's a bracelet. Is there meaning to the fact
that you think that she's still wearing it?

Speaker 14 (03:04:27):
And is?

Speaker 7 (03:04:28):
Because to me, if it was a ring, I would
say something with that. But is a bracelet a bad
thing to be wearing?

Speaker 40 (03:04:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 47 (03:04:34):
I mean it feels like, you know, I just don't
like that she's still wearing jewelry from her ex. That
just doesn't feel right.

Speaker 4 (03:04:42):
Why do you still wear it? Tkyler?

Speaker 43 (03:04:45):
Well, it cost it a lot of money. I bought
it with my own money.

Speaker 48 (03:04:50):
It's permanent and it's a cute bracelet, so I don't
feel like there's any need to remove it.

Speaker 9 (03:04:56):
Does It doesn't have like initials or anything on it.
It's just like as medal.

Speaker 16 (03:05:02):
I mean, it's got his first initial, my first initial.

Speaker 4 (03:05:04):
But oh see that okay for anything?

Speaker 6 (03:05:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:05:08):
That is that is kind of weird to me. Actually,
if it if it didn't have anything like that on it,
and it was just like the chain. I would say,
that's fine, Like, I get it, it's cute, they're expensive,
but the fact that it has his initial and your
initial on.

Speaker 9 (03:05:22):
It is kind of strange to me.

Speaker 4 (03:05:25):
I mean, like for real, like you know, I mean
you can go, you can cut you can so she
can if she wanted to. Yes, where do you and
we had to cut it off of her first swim season?

Speaker 6 (03:05:34):
Where do you go?

Speaker 40 (03:05:35):
To me?

Speaker 9 (03:05:35):
We did it at home?

Speaker 6 (03:05:36):
Oh really?

Speaker 7 (03:05:37):
Okay, So Skyler, are you willing to cut that thing
off to stay in a relationship with Alex? And Alex
I'll ask you the question first, or actually I'll ask
Skyler that question first, and then I'll ask you my
last question, my question next, Skyler, would you cut it off?

Speaker 16 (03:05:52):
It would have to take a lot for me to
cut it off?

Speaker 6 (03:05:55):
What do you mean?

Speaker 16 (03:05:56):
But it would have to well, he.

Speaker 43 (03:05:58):
Would have to wow me so much more than the
X I had before him, Yeah, to have me cut
it off.

Speaker 4 (03:06:06):
So you're keeping that on until you meet somebody who
surpasses the expectations of what you had for your.

Speaker 16 (03:06:11):
Ex almost definitely, which will never happen.

Speaker 7 (03:06:15):
Gosh, should you be dating yeah, you're still probably still
have feelings for that ax.

Speaker 6 (03:06:21):
It sounds like I mean I don't, but but you
like the piece of jewelry. Yeah, yeah, all right, Alex.

Speaker 7 (03:06:28):
If she were to cut it off, if you guys
were to date for a period of time and she
would have done a ceremonial cut on this thing, would
you be okay with that? Or you want her to
cut it off before she starts going dating again?

Speaker 47 (03:06:40):
No, I mean, did you hear her answers she still
has feelings for her ex. I mean the bracelet just
shows that.

Speaker 6 (03:06:47):
Yeah, somebody, I don't have feelings for my ex.

Speaker 43 (03:06:49):
Where you're not listening to what I was saying.

Speaker 3 (03:06:51):
You just said you will never find it better than him.

Speaker 48 (03:06:55):
Yes, but I also said that if I did, maybe
I would want to cut it off.

Speaker 6 (03:07:00):
But she's waiting.

Speaker 43 (03:07:01):
I don't have any feelings for my ex.

Speaker 16 (03:07:04):
I just think the bracelet's cute.

Speaker 3 (03:07:05):
I don't know about you, but I do not like
my ex at all.

Speaker 6 (03:07:08):
I would never say that, but you like the jewelry
eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six sixty
five six five four eight What do you think it
should Skyler cut it off?

Speaker 36 (03:07:21):
Or?

Speaker 2 (03:07:22):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (03:07:22):
Do you think that this is that even that big
of a deal. I probably, and it's weird. I probably
am one of those guys that just doesn't notice things.
I would I would look and think it was just
a bracelet. I don't think I would look.

Speaker 4 (03:07:33):
And see what it says when you but when you
see initials on it.

Speaker 6 (03:07:37):
But I probably wouldn't look that close.

Speaker 4 (03:07:39):
I don't know. I depend on what it looks like,
but I I feel like I would be curious. I
it's if it's like I have bracelets that have words
on them and names on them, and I guess I
would be curious and be like, oh, who's that?

Speaker 22 (03:07:50):
You know?

Speaker 43 (03:07:51):
What does that mean?

Speaker 6 (03:07:52):
Scott?

Speaker 34 (03:07:52):
What do you think she shouldn't be on the dating scene?
Because when you asked if if like she met someone
but she cut it off, she said.

Speaker 6 (03:08:00):
No, it'll never happen.

Speaker 3 (03:08:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:08:02):
Anna said the same thing too. Anna. I've kind of
caught that.

Speaker 7 (03:08:07):
Maybe she's not over that ex in order to be
out there getting into another relationship.

Speaker 6 (03:08:12):
What's up, Sarah?

Speaker 13 (03:08:13):
Hi, Hey, Alix comment, I'll say that she wouldn't need
the guy would need to replace it.

Speaker 6 (03:08:19):
Oh so so if you were dating Alex, you would
cut it off but he's got to get you a
new one.

Speaker 18 (03:08:26):
Yeah, it had to look better.

Speaker 7 (03:08:28):
But if it's gold, maybe she can melt it down.
Gold'sworth while. What's up, Mackenzie?

Speaker 6 (03:08:35):
How you doing? Hey?

Speaker 18 (03:08:37):
Good morning.

Speaker 26 (03:08:38):
I feel like this has become such a big deal.

Speaker 49 (03:08:41):
Like the first disagreement or argument they get into, she's
going to be like, well, I cut my bracelet off
for you.

Speaker 6 (03:08:46):
Yeah, right? True. Can I ask this question if this
was a tattoo, would you feel the same way, Alex,
because tattoos are hard to get rid of.

Speaker 44 (03:08:56):
You know, I think it would be it would be
a red flag, but it would it wouldn't be as
big a deal. But as long as she said, you know,
I'm working on.

Speaker 5 (03:09:04):
Getting Yeah, this is a quick thing.

Speaker 7 (03:09:07):
This is kind of like this is the jewelry version
of a tattoo. What's up, Michelle? This is what's going on? Michelle?

Speaker 18 (03:09:16):
Hello?

Speaker 17 (03:09:17):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (03:09:17):
What do you think?

Speaker 49 (03:09:20):
At first?

Speaker 35 (03:09:21):
I didn't think anything of it, because you know, women
love jewelry, But the comments that she made I feel
like she does still have feelings for him, you know
what I mean, like get rid of the jewelry already.

Speaker 7 (03:09:34):
Somebody just said, can she just change the letters? Is
that possible. What do you think about that, Michelle as an.

Speaker 50 (03:09:39):
Idea if I mean, yeah, if she did that, But
I mean it's more symbolic with the initials, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 37 (03:09:45):
Like, yeah, just out of curiosity. When's the last time
you spoke to your eggs?

Speaker 14 (03:09:51):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (03:09:52):
We haven't spoken in a few months.

Speaker 7 (03:09:54):
Actually, Okay, so it's been a while, So it wasn't
like you recently talked to him.

Speaker 6 (03:09:59):
Maddie, what's no because nobody.

Speaker 25 (03:10:06):
What do you want to say, Maddie, I was gonna say, like, no,
one logically, even if it was a bad or a
good breakup, wants to wear something they look at every
day as a reminder if you no longer have it,
And then also like that she what has it to
look at it? If that was me, I'd be like, oh,
I must have done something right. If I was the ex,

(03:10:27):
if they're still wearing something with my name on it
or my initials, I.

Speaker 7 (03:10:30):
Wonder if he listens, wouldn't that be interesting to know?
And I wonder do you know, Skylar? Do you know
if he's got does he wear a bracelet too?

Speaker 14 (03:10:40):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (03:10:41):
So he is he still wearing your bracelet?

Speaker 29 (03:10:44):
You know?

Speaker 3 (03:10:46):
As far as I know, yes, not the matching bracelets.

Speaker 6 (03:10:50):
That'd be kind of wild.

Speaker 4 (03:10:52):
But I paid for it.

Speaker 16 (03:10:53):
That's I feel like nobody's listening to that. I paid
for it with my own money. That's why I wear it.

Speaker 4 (03:10:58):
We don't care cut piece of bracelet. It's a cute bracelet.

Speaker 7 (03:11:02):
It cost her some money. Our friend friend from Lucido
find jewelry. She text in saying she'll help you get
rid of the bracelet and find some new ones if
you want. Maybe Alice can buy you one. Who knows,
maybe if you cared about you that much. Second date update,
I'm Mojoe on the Morning.

Speaker 5 (03:11:19):
On the thirty, go back fro Dad on a second
date update and more of the roses. This is Mojo
in the Morning.

Speaker 7 (03:11:26):
I find it interesting too when there are people that
will split with somebody and they will like discard the
ring that they were wearing for such a long time.
Like to me, if the ring is a beautiful ring,
like I would want to keep wearing it for a
little bit. But I guess there is so much symbolism.
You think that's weird too, No way, I.

Speaker 3 (03:11:47):
Sorry, I was eating my breakfast.

Speaker 6 (03:11:49):
Oh let me, don't let me inter run.

Speaker 3 (03:11:53):
One of my exes was a huge sneaker head, and
the hardest thing I had to do was get rid
of all these easies that you bought me. But I
was like, I cannot be wearing these of this man
bought them for it.

Speaker 43 (03:12:03):
Really not you.

Speaker 9 (03:12:06):
I don't like easies, but I'd keep the good shoes.

Speaker 3 (03:12:09):
I would keep the good shoes. I don't want to
think about him.

Speaker 6 (03:12:12):
How quick did you get rid of the ring?

Speaker 4 (03:12:15):
I still have it. My my engagement ring and wedding rings,
I still have them, And nah, why would I get
rid of that. I'm going to make a beautiful piece
of jewelry for hopefully for Lucy one day that she'll
want to wear. I mean, I thought about selling it
and using the money, like to do something, But then
I'm like, then I would feel weird about whatever it
is that I'm doing. That it came from something so yucky.

Speaker 37 (03:12:37):
I don't know the reason why I say, see naw,
is because in my mind, it wouldn't even be in
your possession. If I wanted to give you something and
we're no longer together or you said no, it's an
engagement that ring coming back with me?

Speaker 6 (03:12:48):
But oh but not if you get married but I'm
putting that in quick question, Shannon, when did you take
the ring off?

Speaker 4 (03:12:56):
I took it off the day I believe, if I
remember correctly, I took off the ring the day my
divorce was final.

Speaker 6 (03:13:02):
Wow, so you wore it?

Speaker 9 (03:13:03):
I wore it the whole Yeah, I'm pretty sure I did.

Speaker 6 (03:13:05):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (03:13:06):
That you're repurposing it for Lucy.

Speaker 45 (03:13:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:13:09):
In fact, now that I think about, I don't even
know word. I mean, I have it at my house.

Speaker 7 (03:13:13):
But did any people, because I know you didn't date
for a long long time after you got divorced, But
did any people look at it as weird that you
were still.

Speaker 6 (03:13:19):
Wearing the ring even while you were going through a divorce.

Speaker 9 (03:13:21):
If they did, they didn't say anything to me about it.

Speaker 29 (03:13:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:13:23):
Hold on, Bianca's on the phone. What's that Bianca? Hi?

Speaker 5 (03:13:27):
How are you good?

Speaker 7 (03:13:28):
We were talking about the uh, you know, the the bracelet.
But you wanted to make a comment about Xes buying
you things and keeping the things that the exes buy you.

Speaker 6 (03:13:38):
What's up?

Speaker 23 (03:13:40):
Well, we were together like eight years.

Speaker 51 (03:13:42):
He bought me like several Louis Vuitton persons, and I've
contemplated several times.

Speaker 4 (03:13:48):
I'm getting rid of them. I just can't do not.

Speaker 51 (03:13:52):
Don't you have them that much?

Speaker 4 (03:13:53):
Doesn't matter?

Speaker 6 (03:13:54):
No, no, you keep that stuff, ye, get rid of it,
sell them for a lot of money.

Speaker 18 (03:13:59):
Yeah, exactly. Okay.

Speaker 51 (03:14:01):
At one point I did throw it like over the gate,
but then my mom made my son go get it.

Speaker 14 (03:14:07):
What gate?

Speaker 6 (03:14:08):
Did you throw it over.

Speaker 19 (03:14:10):
Over my apartment gate?

Speaker 18 (03:14:12):
Like? We live like behind Hinz Park and I just
tossed it one day.

Speaker 6 (03:14:15):
Let me tell you something.

Speaker 4 (03:14:16):
There's a difference between t Anna point shoes, purses, you know,
a sweatshirt, and jewelry with your initials together on it.

Speaker 9 (03:14:24):
Yeah, there's a difference.

Speaker 6 (03:14:25):
What's up, Claire, how you doing hy?

Speaker 26 (03:14:28):
Good morning, guys?

Speaker 6 (03:14:29):
Good morning.

Speaker 26 (03:14:30):
I was calling about the second date update and holding
on to jewelry. I still have my forty five hundred
dollars engagement ring that he let me keep, and I
still wear it so that guys will stay away from
me because I don't.

Speaker 13 (03:14:43):
Like the attention.

Speaker 26 (03:14:44):
But I do have a gentleman that I'm talking to
that doesn't really care because he knows I'm wearing it
because it's pretty.

Speaker 14 (03:14:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:14:51):
Come on, you know what I think.

Speaker 7 (03:14:52):
I think guys need to be strong, stronger with who
they are and be like, I don't care what you wear,
you know what I mean? Like what if the guy,
what if a guy bought you a car, would you
not want them to drive the car that he bought
you as long as you're not you know, uh, letting
that guy still make payments to your hu haa.

Speaker 6 (03:15:11):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 37 (03:15:12):
We're not going to act like men only quote unquote
insecure beings out here.

Speaker 6 (03:15:16):
There's a lot of women.

Speaker 26 (03:15:18):
Issue when she was wearing the little jewels. I think
that's a little bit much, but.

Speaker 6 (03:15:23):
But keV but predominantly what they want as long.

Speaker 26 (03:15:26):
As they have an understanding of what's going on.

Speaker 7 (03:15:29):
If a guy were to be wearing like say, for instance,
Chelsea bought me a love break or a love ring
back in the day.

Speaker 6 (03:15:34):
It doesn't fit me anymore, my fingers are fat.

Speaker 7 (03:15:37):
And but if she brought me that, and if I
went out on the dating scene wearing it, would I
would I even have to explain it.

Speaker 6 (03:15:43):
I could say my mom bought it for me.

Speaker 37 (03:15:45):
I'm just saying I've been in relationships where a girl
bought me what do you call those things where you
could have it initial and you have like cups with
your starting to see if like you put your alcohol
in it, you know what I'm saying, something to that effect,
where it was engraved.

Speaker 6 (03:15:59):
And bass whatever you said. She came over and there
was like where'd you get that? And I was like,
my so buch. She's like, the first thing you're doing
is getting rid of that. Yeah, they don't want the
ets either.

Speaker 37 (03:16:10):
I'll be trying to sit up here act like y'all
don't no, I agree, all right, cool, I'm trying to
think of By the way, you said it was a craft.
A craft is only for wine.

Speaker 3 (03:16:20):
You know, I'm still talking about that.

Speaker 6 (03:16:23):
It was a metal No, it wasn't metal. It was
like glass. So it's a glass is it? Think it's
a theod cancer? But what do you mean it can't
only be used for wine though? A craft is just
for wine? Why though, Because that's just how it goes.

Speaker 40 (03:16:36):
I'm not with that.

Speaker 6 (03:16:36):
I pour it out. It's like saying we can't use
boards when we use milk cartons.

Speaker 5 (03:16:42):
That has nothing to do.

Speaker 6 (03:16:43):
It's the same that you pour any what. It's not
poor any what you want to pour.

Speaker 7 (03:16:48):
It's a flask that you were thinking of. And tell
the cancer is bigger than the flask. You're gonna show
me what it looks like you're bringing in from home.

Speaker 6 (03:16:55):
I want to say we threw out the other one.
I got a new one.

Speaker 3 (03:16:57):
I showed you.

Speaker 7 (03:16:57):
Okay, all right, bring it in tomorrow morning. All right,
we're done for today. Thank you to Mayor Mike dug
In for coming in this morning. This was truly one
of the greatest things that has ever happened to me
in my life. I'm gonna rank it right above.

Speaker 6 (03:17:12):
Joey, but honestly, aside from aside from my family, you know,
to be honored by this great city and be able
to have the mayor of the city say, hey, I've
given this only to Aretha Franklin and Big Sean and
now I'm giving it to you as unbelievable. So have

(03:17:33):
a great one, guys. We will see you tomorrow morning.

Speaker 14 (03:17:36):
Bye.

Speaker 1 (03:17:37):
Twenty plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo,
in West Michigan, it's Mojoe in the morning,
