سرو ما را پای معنی در دلست
هر که چشمش بر چنان روی اوفتاد
طالعش میمون و فالش مقبلست
نیکخواهانم نصیحت می کنند
خشت بر دریا زدن بی حاصلست
ای برادر ما به گرداب اندریم
وان که شنعت می زند بر ساحلست
شوق را بر صبر قوت غالبست
عقل را با عشق دعوی باطلست
نسبت عاشق به غفلت می کنند
وان که معشوقی ندارد غافلست
دیده باشی تشنه مستعجل به آب
جان به جانان همچنان مستعجلست
بذل جاه و مال و ترک نام و ننگ
در طریق عشق اول منزلست
گر بمیرد طالبی دربند دوست
سهل باشد زندگانی مشکلست
عاشقی می گفت و خوش خوش می گریست
