The Northwell Health Cancer Institute in Lake Success has appointed Dr Bhuvanesh Singh surgical director of its new Skin Cancer Program.
He will lead the development of multiple integrated centers that will provide comprehensive skin cancer care,

and reconstruction,integrated with radiation and chemotherapy.
These centers will not only provide state-of-the-art care,
but also focus on clinical and translational research to help shape the future of skin cancer treatment.
Dr Singh is a board-certified otolaryngologist and physician-scientist.

He joins Northwell after 27 years at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center,
where he served as the director of Laboratory of Epithelial Cancer Biology and founder and co-director of the Advanced Skin Cancer Management and Prevention Program.

the experience from which has allowed him to develop innovative surgical approaches that have significantly enhanced outcomes for the most common head and neck surgical procedures.
