A love language minute. Here's Doctor Gary Chapman on asking
God for help in your marriage.

I suggest to people that you ask God to give
you a fresh desire to work on your marriage, because
many people have lost hope and they they're not even
praying that God will do anything in their marriage. They're
just they've just assumed it's over or it's going to
always be like this. But if you ask God to
give you a new desire to communicate to your spouse

in a loving way, to become supportive and encouraging of
your spouse in spite of the hurts that you may
have had in the past, God does begin to work
in your heart, and he will remind you of things
you need to do, either taking care of the past
or making things different in the future. I mean, God
wants your marriage to survive more than you want it
to survive. So you ask him to give you his

desire for your marriage, and then in his power, you
move out to do these things.
