On today's show, we chat with: - Dr. Ginny Briggs, an epidemiologist and Associate Professor of Public Health at MCPHS University in Boston. She is the mother of a teenaged girl with spina bifida, and is the current Chair of SBAGNE. - Amy Bois, a parent of a teen-aged child with Spina Bifida. Amy joined the Board in 2017, and is the incoming Chair. Professionally, Amy is a Brand Marketing Manager, AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, and Adaptive Fitness professional. - Sarah Heywood, an adult living with Spina Bifida. Sarah will be joining the Board in 2020 and is also very active on several National SBA committees. - Kristin Marquis, an adult living with Spina Bifida. Kristin will be joining the Board in 2020 and is a leading voice in the Spina Bifida community. She is the founder of the blog, Spina-Beautiful.com and also serves on several National SBA committees. - Dr. Linda Long-Bellil, an adult living with Spina Bifida. Linda has a long history of service on the SBAGNE Board.
