(00:27):
One we are here attic brewing. It is absolutely jam packed here
for labor of love Wrestle John. I'm super excited to be here
Mania weekend and the reason I'mhere because your boy's broke
and I'm a bum and I can't affordanything.
So I snuck in with this handsomefella and huge thank you once
again to labor of love for having us and letting us record

(00:48):
these as well as attic brewing. You guys make amazing beer.
I left it over there. I I swear I'm I'm still
drinking. The cream ale is fantastic, but
I'm here today with. It's Alex Watt.
Some call me the kilowatt. I am the HIBC, the head bitch in
chart. Can I swear on that?

(01:08):
Absolutely. OK.
Some call me the daddy. Yeah, yeah.
Some, some say thick. It's a it's a select few, but
some call me a thick daddy. It happens, It happens, right?
You can't take that away from me.
I'm not. I don't hate it.
Some say Poppy. I don't know.
What is your current goal in life?
My biggest goal in life right now honestly, is to grow high

(01:32):
tension wrestling slowly but surely.
My philosophy is, you know, slowand steady wins the race, but I
also have like a goal that's in tandem with that, which is to
maintain a work life balance with that, not to get completely
lost in it and to maintain the enjoyment of it and the passion,

(01:53):
you know? Absolutely.
Well, what are you currently doing to achieve that goal?
I'm being more open with my communication, I'm delegating
more, I'm trusting more people. That's a big part of it.
I'm also talking to myself a bitmore positively and reminding
myself like, it's not a competition.

(02:17):
Like just do your thing at your own pace, as well as working
with other great people, like labor of love, like they're
instrumental. The collaboration is just out of
this world with these good people.
Those labor of love already has that that vibe that we that
you've tried to like, that has been there since.
Can't believe Frog has been there.

(02:38):
High tension. I feel at home.
I feel like I'm on a high tension.
Show it meshes really well. Not like Dylan Mesh, he's a
piece of crap. I mean, go bears.
Always go bears. We bleed black and gold, baby,
you know what I mean? But what is holding you back are
a distraction. Time, time is a big thing.

(03:00):
Just Full disclosure, the older I get, the more I realize things
about myself like, you know, unmedicated ADHD and, and, and
learning how to understand what that is and manage it as well as
other like, you know, mental struggles and stuff.
And trying to balance that out and learn that and, and be able

(03:23):
to manage my time when it's, it's a huge distraction at
times. Sometimes I'm not motivated to
do the things I'm passionate about and, and that sucks.
So again, it's, it's time management I think is key.
But I do struggle with it. Yeah.
Who or what motivates or inspires you?
You I appreciate that and and that's authentic.

(03:47):
It's it's you, it's it's Billy Avery, it's Laura who is
instrumental in almost holding my hand.
The goat. She is she Laura Crane, it's her
gimmick name, but instrumental in holding my hand through
things in in a sense and helpingme manage my time and organize
an agenda in order of things that have to get done.

(04:11):
And it's people like Ethan Wildeand Brian Ace who behind the
scenes are just wonderful peoplewho deserve the opportunities
that I'm trying to provide. And they inspire me, you know,
they absolutely do. What are you grateful for and
are you currently happy? Oh boy.

(04:31):
To get real dark. It might though, because I'm
great. I'm grateful for the human
connection that I have with people.
That is probably the one of the most the things I've most come
to cherish as an adult. Am I happy?
I used to think that happiness was like a thing that I could

(04:52):
obtain. And then I've come to realize
like I only find happiness in moments.
And these are moments where we're doing something cool or
where I'm connecting with somebody on a genuine level.
And those are the moments that Itry to have more frequently.
But as a baseline, like I, I don't experience happiness all

(05:13):
the time, but there is a level of contentment and I'm OK with
that. Yeah, absolutely.
Where can people find or supportyou?
Support. I mean, you can find me at Real
Kilowatt on all social media. Definitely support high tension
wrestling at high 8 whoops at high tension HTW.

(05:35):
It's been a while since I've done these things again on all
social media. Check us out, you know, look for
future shows and check out our friends and partners.
Absolutely. All right, we'll see you guys on
the next one. A5 questions ABJ WrestleMania
weekend, we're out. for that post credits scene.

(06:36):
We we go back. We do.
We go way back. We go back like spinal cords and
seats, you know what I mean? But I want to ask, I want to ask
you is what when it comes to recapturing your love for this
business and what you want to accomplish in this business and
stuff like that, where, where doyou like, what is your overall
pool of like when it comes to booking talent, looking for

(06:59):
storyline things and fixtures? What do you drive that from and
what is what like? What is your biggest muse when
it comes to like inspiration forthat?
If I if I pull away from the collaboration and I pull away
from the people bringing me goodideas or character based ideas,
typically I base it off somebody's character and I go

(07:23):
what would this person do or what would they do in this
situation? So usually all of my stories I
come up with are based off the characters I want to book and
what they would do in the world that I create.
Now that weren't a thing, I would probably just RIP off
movies all the time. Yeah, so I'm going to, I'm going

(07:43):
to, I'm going to double up on this one.
Who is a character in the world of the independent wrestling
that you love to play with inside your universe the most.
Like, you look at their character, you're like, oh man,
how can I, how can I tweak them and use them to my liking?
Because I like, I already like what they bring and I would like
to challenge them with somethingdifferent.

(08:06):
I mean, the first thing comes tomind is Doctor Ethan Wilde.
Oh yes, yes, his new like it's not new but his new layer is so
good. It's he took what he already had
from Leapfrog and he added something to it.
Like as a team, I think we all came up with this Wild LLC
concept and he built upon it. We gave him some tools to add to

(08:30):
it, such as we gave him Luca Mancini and and Dylan Mesh and
then we we we've started to build upon that.
I got to get him for five questions today.
That's going to happen. Absolutely.
So yeah, he's probably the top one, although everybody we play
with at High Tension Wrestling. Consensually.
Consensually, they're absolutelyamazing and fun to do so.

(08:55):
Yes, absolutely. All right, we'll see you guys
next time. Please go check out High Tension
Wrestling's YouTube page. We worked very hard on it.
There's a lot of great stuff there, man.
All of Camp leapfrogs back catalog is there.
You have to check that out. It's it's so good, as well as
all the high tension stuff as well.
It's all there. It's all fantastic.
Go support it. It's absolutely free.

(09:15):
So if there's no excuse, go watch it, check it out until the
next time we're out of here. That's awesome.
Sick dude, thanks.
