We tackle the great mint chocolate chip ice cream debate, sharing laughs over our disagreements. Whether it's our mutual love for unusual foods like or the comical struggles with science class, the episode is packed with humor and lighthearted moments. We also touch on the delicate balance between online privacy and sharing, with amusing stories about our personal lives sprinkled throughout.

The conversation takes a turn toward shared interests, as we bond over music, sneakers, and future dreams. (03:44):
of the year and it's with myfavorite person in life, my
daughter, aria park.
Sup, girl, sup, welcome back tomy show, thanks.
So this has been your firstyear in high school and you're a

(04:05):
freshman.
How did you like high school sofar?
It's halfway through, you're atyour mid-term, so how do you
like high school right now?

Speaker 1 (04:19):
It's okay Because we have mid-terms this week and
it's kind of bad, but highschool has been really good this
year.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Yeah, wait, first off , why is midterms bad?
You study for them, right?

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Yes, I do, but they're just irritating Because
we have to go in for two hoursand then leave.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Well, that's good, right?
You don't have to stay inschool all day.
It's bad for me, because now Igotta get off work early and
come get you every time.
Yeah, so what do you like abouthigh school?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
um.
I like my friends.
Well, they were your friendslast year.
I know, but we have morefreedom this year like what do
you mean by freedom?
Like I don't know.
We just gotta do more stuffbecause there's more space in
the high school and in the gym.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Yeah, so what do you think differs from high school
and intermediate?
Like what do you think differsfrom high school and
intermediate?
Like what?
What do you like more and whatdon't you like more about being
a high school student?

Speaker 1 (05:34):
In middle school we had to be like in one area like
a lot, and it was just a smallarea.
But high school we have like alot more space.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
So what do you think is the like, what do you think
that you wish you had fromintermediate school, that you
don't have?

Speaker 1 (05:58):
now I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I mean, it's not that big of a change yeah, I guess
not unless I was like changingschools, but I'm not so yeah, so
, um, this was your first yearplaying high school volleyball
and you were, uh, jv and youguys won the il, or co-champions
, with the ILH in your division,so I guess that's a good thing,

(06:28):
but how did you like playing JVfor your first year?

Speaker 1 (06:33):
It was good.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
It also wasn't that much different than intermediate
, because, yeah, Well, for JV,you guys only played one game a
day.
For intermediate, you guysmight play two games, right?
Yeah, one thing aboutIntermediate that I liked last
year is you guys had playoffsand you guys I mean you guys

(06:56):
didn't win it.
For JV this year.
You guys did super good.
They had two rounds.
You had to play every teamtwice the first round.
You guys lost one game.
You they had two rounds.
You had to play every teamtwice the first round.
You guys lost one game toiolani.
And then the second round, youguys beat everybody, including
iolani.
So that's what made you guyschamps, because you guys are, I

(07:18):
guess, co-champs because iolanihas one win over you and you
guys have one win over Iolani.
So it kind of tied up.
I don't know why they didn't doa championship game.
That would have been.
How did you feel about notdoing a championship game?
Because, if you're like me,you'd want to know right.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
I mean we were missing a lot of people because
they were going like on tripsand stuff.
So like it was kind of a goodthing that we didn't do it, but
like they should have done itlike later, like after ball
break or whatever it was wouldyou have rather played in a
championship game and lost, orjust be co-champions?

(08:00):
I don't know.
I mean, it's okay beingco-champions, but it's like
you're both second placetechnically but you guys both
first place we're both firstplace, but like no one's
actually first place yeah, you're like me, I don't believe
in co-champions.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
It's like come on, you gotta battle, figure out
who's the best.
I do think because you guysbeat them last and that showed
that you guys overcame adversityfrom losing to them.
I think that holds a littlemore water and I could at least
justify calling you guys thechamps because you guys beat

(08:41):
them last.
So if that makes sense or helpsyou sleep at night, I guess I
don't know, yeah you don't seemtoo enthused about being
co-champs, so next year you whatdo you hope for for volleyball?

(09:02):
What do you want to try and do?

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Winning some championships in the mainland.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
All right, so you guys just started your first.
Well, I guess it's your firstseason with Ho'omau Volleyball
Club.
It used to be a different namelast year.
It's the same club, it's just adifferent name.
How do you like how things aregoing so far in this club,
because it's a lot of the samegirls on your team and girls

(09:31):
that you're close with?

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, it's kind of the same, except with less
coaches and a lot smaller clubnow, but it's still pretty much
the same.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
I like it.
Yeah, how do you feel aboutyour guys team this year?

Speaker 1 (09:51):
I think we have a lot of potential right now.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Just need to work up to get to the potential to reach
your potential yeah what youguys, what do you think in your
opinion, is like the, I guess, like what do you think is going
to be the hardest thing in this,in this year's season?

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Um, I don't know.
I think a lot of.
I think just like getting alongwith each other, not like we
don't get along with each other.
I mean like on the courtbecause, like this is our first
year playing with a lot ofpeople.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
So well, I do agree with you with that word
potential.
I think you guys have a lot ofpotential.
You guys got some ringers onyour team and you guys got some
girls that are being developed, that have capabilities to being
good and I think, with yourcoach now who's coach kia, who

(10:53):
you had the first year I thinkshe'll bring it out of all your
teammates and kind of make youguys gel together.
I think she'll make the girlswho are already good even better
, and I think it's going to be afun season.
You guys' first tournament willbe this weekend.
Are you looking forward to it?

(11:14):
Yes, are you nervous at all?
You just want to get in thereand smash.

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
All right to get in there and smash, yeah, all right
.
Well, I have received actuallya ton of questions online and we
can bang some of these out.
Um, and then we'll get back totalky's story.
Uh, okay, well, let's getstarted.
You ready, okay, if your petcould talk, what do you think he
would say?
Our pet being, aka our uh, cat, what do you think you would say

(11:55):
?

Speaker 1 (11:57):
you would either say let me go, you're really
irritating, or I like to cuddleyou is he saying that to you?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
yes, yes, okay, it's kind of funny because akka only
likes to cuddle me and you yeahnot auntie sasha, whose whose
cat it really belongs to.
Yeah, all right.
Okay, what do you think theyour biggest flaw is that people

(12:28):
would say about you?

Speaker 1 (12:31):
um, that I'm super short, that's not a flaw.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Well, people talk to me like it is one well, there's
nothing you can do to fix that, unless you're walking around in
high heels or platforms.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Exactly.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Well, you can blame your dad, because of him is the
reason why you're not tall.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
It's okay, I don't want to be tall anyways.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
Yeah, god made us short for a reason, so we don't
take over the world.
Okay, that's it.
What else do you think would beyour biggest flaw that people
would say about you other thanbeing short?

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Oh, my attitude Well you have attitude.
Yeah, but if someone like Idon't know.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
What is your attitude ?

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Like if someone just irritates me or just like gives
me attitude, like I'll give itto them like 10 times worse.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Like give me an example of your attitude.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
I want to know what your attitude in action would be
like.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
I don't know like I, it just comes out, it just
happened.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
So someone gives you, oh, so you're like daddy.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Then yeah, I don't know.
All right, no, like my mom ohokay, yeah, she's pretty witty.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
All right, let's see.

Speaker 1 (14:16):
What is the weirdest food you ate and what foods
don't you like?

Speaker 2 (14:20):
The weirdest food I ate I don't know, I'm trying to
think what would be the weirdestthing you ate.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Oh, I ate this weird thing called like abalone or
something.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Oh, okay.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
In the little.
That was disgusting, it wasabsolutely disgusting.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
It's like an oyster.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
But it's not even like an oyster, it's like hard.
It's not hard, but it's like anoyster.
But it's not even like anoyster, it's like hard.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
It's not hard, but it's like you know those little
things that I showed you in thelittle package from Japan.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Like baradego, that's abalone.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Oh, I had them like fresh, though it's kind of
disgusting.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
I like fresh, though it's kind of disgusting.
I like abalone.
Anyway, what would be the foodsyou don't like to eat?
Like for me?
Mine, as you know, is bellpeppers.
I hate bell peppers, I can'teat them.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
I don't really know.
I'm not like a picky eater, soI literally eat anything.
No, you don't know, I'm notlike a picky eater, so I'll
literally eat anything.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
No, you don't.
You don't like mushrooms, ohmushrooms.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
Well, like, I'll eat them.
I don't really care, but like,if it's a lot, then I won't eat
it.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
Alright, yeah, you're true.
That's true, you're not a pickyeater.
Okay, oh, this is a goodquestion.
If you could create A newschool subject, what would it be
?
Um, not time, that's not asubject yes, it is that's

(16:07):
actually a break in a subject.
What would be a subject thatyou would create, that you would
like to do?

Speaker 1 (16:14):
I don't know, I don't know.
I'm pretty sure school is madeup of all the possible things to
make me do in school, likedesign, what.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Okay, what is your least favorite subject?
Science why is that your leastfavorite?
That's what I do for a living.
It baffles my brains.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
It baffles my brain Like it just doesn't make sense
to me, science is what makessense.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Science is the reason why things make sense.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
So it's the opposite of what you just said.
Obviously not if it doesn'tmake sense.
Obviously not if it doesn'tmake sense to me.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
That's because you're not learning it correctly,
maybe.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Okay, they don't blame it on me.
Blame it on my teacher.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
All right.
Well, I hope she hears this andgives you a good grade.
Honestly, science is whatexplains life, and that's pretty
much daddy's work, so you needto be good in science.
All right, let's see.
Oh, do you dance when no one isaround watching?

(17:29):
I already know the answer tothis but no one's around
watching yeah sure you dance allthe time, like you can't do
anything without dancing.

You do a dance in betweendancing, you dance.

(17:50):

I remember getting him at, like all the one in the
Disney store.
Yeah, five, five, you're five, okay, yeah, and daddy renamed
him I don't know how we came upwith that name anyway and you

Yeah, okay what is one item youcannot live without my phone.

(22:06):
I was going to say other thanyour phone.
You can live without that.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
Oh, okay, that was a joke, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
Other than your phone , what is your one item that you
absolutely need?

Speaker 1 (22:26):
My eyelash curler oh.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
God yeah, your eyelash curler.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Okay, all right, I'm not going to agree with that.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Okay, because you're, I'm not going to agree with
that, okay, okay.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Because you're a man, yeah.
Next question If you could meetone celebrity, who would that
celebrity be?

Speaker 1 (22:56):
Probably SZA or yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Why SZA?

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Because I like her songs and she's my favorite
artist.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
I think for me it would be the rock.
For some reason I really likethe rock.
Yeah, the people's eyebrow.
He did that to me one time.
Did I ever tell you about that?
yeah yeah, he was in um 24 hourfitness.
This was like I was younger andhe was here to film the movie
rundown.

(23:31):
It was filmed here in hawaiiand he was working on it 24 hour
fitness and I was walking byand I looked at him and he was
on uh, either the elliptical orthe treadmaster or something
like that.
And he's looking at me and heseen me looking at him.
I'm just staring at him andthen he gave me the people's
eyebrow and I looked at him.

(23:54):
I didn't know what to say.
I was like you're the rock man,and then he just smiled and
felt like a dork.
But he was there and it was indork, but yeah, oh, that's funny
, but he was there and it was inKaneohe.
It was pretty cool.
La Rock was there.
Yeah, now that was before hegot mega famous.
He was just getting started inmovies but he was already famous

(24:17):
from wrestling.
But yeah, I thought that wascool.
But that would be a celebritythat I would want to meet and
talk story with also.
Um, another one I would want tomeet would be mike shinoda of
lincoln park.
I would.
That guy is such a mastermindand talented person and talking

(24:39):
story to him might be.
I would think would be kind ofcool.
I think it'd be cooler thansizzle.
Whatever's okay, let's see.
Uh, what is your favorite icecream flavor?
cookies and cream or mintchocolate chip all right, I've

(25:01):
been debating this with you foryears.
I can get behind the cookiesand cream the mint chocolate
chip.
I don't understand.
To me it tastes like toothpastewith chocolate sprinkles.
No, yes, I don't understand whypeople like mint ice cream.
It's literally.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
What's refreshing Like toothpaste?
No, it's refreshing.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Like toothpaste.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
No, like, just refreshing.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Well, it's already cold and it's ice cream, so any
ice cream is refreshing.
It's cold.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
Okay, no, the mint chocolate is so good.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Why do you like that?
Because it's refreshing.
All right, that's just annoying.
All right, which do you preferon the phone, talking to people
or texting them?
Texting yeah, I always um, Iagree with you on that.
You always text people and it'ssuper annoying when I want to

(26:01):
answer real fast and I I'm justlike just call them up and ask
them no, I'm waiting for them torespond for my text.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
No, because they don't answer me, maybe because
they don't want to talk to me,but like no, oh, I should add
FaceTime too.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Either call text FaceTime oh, I like FaceTime.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
I like FaceTime.
Why do you like FaceTime?
Because it's like you're liketalking to them real life, but
like on a little screen.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
Okay, okay.
Do you play video games and, ifso, which are the games that
you play the most?

Speaker 1 (26:40):
I don't really play video games anymore Like rarely,
rarely the most.
I don't really play video gamesanymore Like rarely rarely.
I play Fortnite Like rarelyOnly if one of my friends begs
me to play yesterday, or I'llplay Block Blast.
That's not really a game.
It's not really a game.
It's just like Tetris, but like.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Well, Tetris is a game.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Yeah, but it's not like a video game.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
Tetris is a video game.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
No, like it's like a puzzle game Basically.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Alrighty, okay, oh, this is a good one, and you
recently got into this and it'sa kind of expensive habit.
What are your favorite?
Okay, what is your favoriteshoes, since you've been
collecting shoes?

Speaker 1 (27:36):
Oh yeah, this is my favorite question ever.
So, like, my favorite type ofshoes are probably Jordan 4s.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Those are mine too, alright my favorite so what is
your favorite?
One, bust it out that overthere yeah, I wanna see, I'll go
get that.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Yeah, I have two, but okay, so I have the the
military blue ones those aredope.
I love these so, much, so much.
And then I have the whitethunders.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
I got those.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
I think I like these.
I don't know.
I like both of them.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
So the fours would be your favorite.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Yeah, I like the fours.
For me, I think the fours arethe most nice.
I also love the Jordans youbought me For my birthday.
Those are super sick.
I needed white shoes too.
Those are super dope.
Speaking of fashion, you'rekind of into fashion now and you
got your own style.
What is your favorite clothingbrand?

Speaker 1 (28:52):
um, I don't know.
I think either holo shirt orbrandy, because likey's stuff is
all super small, except fortheir pants because I have to
cut them.
But their shirts are all supertiny.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
Well, isn't that what they said?
Because we watched thatdocumentary on Brandy Melville
and it wasn't a good one.
They kind of did some shadystuff and they kind of got a
little bit canceled for notbeing politically correct and
being about plus size girls.

(29:32):
So I mean, you're not a plussize girl but the brand uh, kind
of excluded girls of largerstature, yeah because the thing
is one size fits all.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
But they should say one size fits most or some.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
What clothing brand don't you like?
If you've seen a girl runningsome of this, what would you be
like?

Speaker 1 (30:02):
I don't know, I like, I don't like, um, I don't
really know.
Oh, like crazy style, you know, like bright colors and like,
just just like stuff that don'tmatch each other.

Speaker 2 (30:25):
Well, so it's not a not about the brand, it's about
how you put it.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Put it together yeah, like it could be a brand from
like literally anywhere, butjust the way you style, it could
just be like what so it couldbe a brand from anywhere and you
could style it and it wouldlook nice also, right?
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Where do you get your style?
Because you have a unique styleand you kind of change it and I
noticed that it's not anythingnear to what your friends run
and I feel like you created yourown little look.
And where do you come up withyour look?

Speaker 1 (31:04):
I don't know.
I think I, based off my likestyle, a lot of shoes like
depends on what shoes I'm gonnawear.
It depends on what I'm gonnawear.
So I also like see things offlike tiktok and stuff, and I
just kind of go off of that andjust do whatever fits.

(31:27):
The climate over here, becausethe weather is bipolar.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
Yeah, it's either rainy or sunny or super hot.
Yeah, all right.
Oh, here's a good one.
Are you more afraid of thedoctors or the dentist?

Speaker 1 (31:47):
The dentist.
Really why?
Because they just hate my teethfor no reason.
Actually, there is a reason, but like they just hate my teeth
.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
Because you don't brush them.
That's why.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
No, they pull it out.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
Well, that's because your mouth is tiny and the big
ones are trying to come in, butthe little ones weren't coming
out yet, so they had to pullthem and trust they're gonna
pull some more.
You got to get your wisdomsremoved too, and eventually but
yeah, I don't like the dentistall right.

(32:25):
Well, you recently got braces orinvisalign, which I'm super
jealous, like I wish.
When I was younger, I hadinvisalign.
I had to wear the train trackbraces and for three years and
every month they would have togo, I would have to catch bus to
town and get them tightened andit was the most annoying thing

(32:47):
ever and it cut my lips all thetime.
And now you got.
Are you wearing them now?
Yeah, how do you like havingyour Invisalign?

Speaker 1 (32:58):
I mean, they're nice sometimes they like.
A good thing is they make mylips look big Because it's like
a casing and it has little dotson them, so it's just like you
know.
And they also don't feel likeanything, except for the rubber
band which you can't really feel.
But I don't like taking themout every time I have to eat,

(33:23):
like if I had braces I wouldjust I wouldn't have to worry
about it, except for brushing itall the time.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
But yeah, well, plus two, you play volleyball.
If you had regular braces andyou get hit in the face with the
ball, then you're gonna have.
Yeah, and it's gonna cut yourlips, which happened to me
multiple times, and yeah, thosethings aren't fun, I think.
With Invisalign, what's cool isyou don't even have to go back

(33:50):
every month to the orthodontist.
You're constantly changing outthe trays once a week and that's
the equivalent of getting themtightened.
So does it hurt every time youchange them, or no?
Maybe?

Speaker 1 (34:06):
like for like a couple hours, but like it
doesn't really hurt anymore.

Speaker 2 (34:12):
Oh, did you change them yesterday?
Oh, you forgot.

Speaker 1 (34:19):
I have to change it every Thursday now, so because I
forgot.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Alright, okay, let's see next question what is the
Favorite?
What is your favorite song ofall time?
At least Name some of yourfavorite songs of all time.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
I like nobody gets me by SZA.
I also like I don't know I likethat song.
I also like I don't know I'dhave to look on my phone to see

(35:10):
what songs, because I don't knowoff the top of my head.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Well, I think too, a lot of music is also
circumstantial to the moodyou're in, to the time period of
life.
For me, I like certain songsthat remind me of things from
the past, so it's hard to pick afavorite favorite.
But, I can pick a bunch of them.

(35:36):
Obviously, a lot of them areMetallica, linkin Park.
I think a lot of songs in lifehelp you get through certain
things, so it becomes attachedto those moments in your life
and then when you hear it, itmakes you feel good or makes you
feel strong or some some kindof some kind of some kind of way

(36:00):
that it makes you appreciatethose songs.
Yeah, as you get older in life,I think you'll understand that
more, but your guys' music nowisn't that great, to be honest.
Yeah, as you get older in life,I think you'll understand that
more, but your guys music nowisn't that great, to be honest
well, the song that I listen tois good.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
At least I think yeah what?

Speaker 2 (36:18):
what impresses me about you personally is that you
know a lot of the older musiclike I'll trip out every time
like we all start singing a songlike how do you even know that
song?
You weren't even born when thatsong came out.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
I was like the song disappeared from existence.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
But for you to seek out music or to actually know
the words and get into songsfrom a later generation is
pretty cool, because in myopinion, the songs from a later
generation is pretty cool, because in my opinion, the songs
from the past and the musicfrom the past is has more soul
in it than the garbage.

(36:56):
You guys listen now okay, doyou think well, like, okay, go
ahead like rap and stuff now isjust like n word.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
N word like like I only listen to that if, like, I
need to get like hype forsomething you know yeah, that's
what.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
When you're about to play volleyball, what music do
you listen to to get you hypedto, to get into?
Game more rap yeah, like what?

Speaker 1 (37:29):
yeah, I don't know, like I don't know, just a whole
bunch of people all right.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
Do you use music to get you hyped for?
Uh, before the games, I alwayshave my airpods in and, if you
like, try to talk to me in thecar, I'm not gonna say anything
because it's before the games.

Speaker 1 (37:48):
I always have my AirPods in and if you try to
talk to me in the car, I'm notgoing to say anything because
it's blasting in my ears.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
You're turning into game mode, beast mode, action.
Oh yeah, well, I do understandthat when you play you are
definitely not the same littlesweet girl that's not playing.
You definitely turn on samelittle sweet girl that's not
playing.
You definitely turn, turn onyour little mood, but you
definitely have that hype.

(38:15):
Um, back to the music.
I think, uh, in your opinion, what music now?
Okay, since you listen to a lotof older music, or know a lot
of older music, what musicthat's on now do you think will
last the test of time and yourkids will listen to it?
But you're not having kidsanytime soon Go ahead.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
I think a lot of more relaxed music I don't really
know like just like a lot of popmusic.
I think now would last a whilebecause, like some people
probably think it's like cringynow or a super popular song, but

(39:10):
once it gets old then you'regoing to hear it again and it's
just going to become popularagain.
It's just going to stay aroundfor a long time.
That makes sense.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
Okay, let's see In this past year at school what
moment made you laugh the most.

Speaker 1 (39:33):
Wait, someone asked this.
Yeah, these are all questionspeople asked.
Oh, okay.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
Yeah, for the most part yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Okay, I don't know, maybe my friends laugh a lot,
like a lot, it's um.
What about when the boy fell onthe ground?
That was hilarious.
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
What happened.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
That was actually hilarious.
So it was this kid that waslike okay, this super mean.
But like I cannot help myselfin these moments, like for some
reason it's just so funny to mewhen someone eats it, like eats
it hard, it's.
I don't know why it's so funnyto me.
But like this kid was likerushing to run down the stairs

(40:23):
and he had cleats on and then heslipped and then he fell down
the stairs.
He didn't get hurt or anything, but he like fell down the
stairs and then he just laidthere like with his arms open
with all of his bags, like atthe bottom of the stairs.
I just started dying, laughing, like literally dying.
And then all my other friendswere like oh my gosh, are you

(40:43):
okay?
And they were like, and theywere all like are you saying
like, oh my gosh, are you okay?
And then I literally had tolike walk away because it was so
funny.
And then my friend texted melater and they were like that
you're so mean for laughing atthat kid.
I was like I know I can't helpit.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
It was actually hilarious so some boy ate it
down the stairs and you, insteadof helping him up, you started
laughing at him and then walkedaway well, everyone else helped
them, like the other nice peoplein your school helped him,
while you just stood therelaughing at him.
You're kind of a mean girl.

(41:25):
Huh, you're one of those meangirls.

Speaker 1 (41:27):
No, I'm not mean.
That doesn't sound nice, butthat's only once.
I'm only mean if someone's meanto me first.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
So how are people mean to you?
First, no, if they're just likebeing irritating, you know.
I would like to know someexamples of this, like how they
are mean to you and how do yourespond?

Speaker 1 (41:53):
No like Go ahead.
If someone just says somethingdumb like, I'll just like come
back with like a response.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
That's just like hello, that's common sense.
Ok, so say, I'm one of yourlittle classmates and I was like
hey, are you?
You're a little, your hair isall dirty and you smell like
chicken manure.

Speaker 1 (42:16):
What would you do?
Oh, I don't think anyone wouldsay that to me, because it's a
pet peeve of mine to smell bad.
Like I will not smell bad foranything.
I cannot smell bad.
I have a whole drawer ofperfumes deodorant.
Like I cannot smell bad, I havea whole drawer of perfumes
deodorant like I cannot smellthat all right it was, it was a
hypothetical.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
Okay.
Hey, aria, your hair's alltwisted and you look nappy.
What would you say?
No, you said you're witty.
I want to see some wit.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
Let's go I would say okay, because that's their
opinion and that it's not gonnado anything to me all right,
you're not that witty I wouldsay okay, then they'll be like
oh, dang my thing, my littlecomment to her didn't make her
feel anything.
So then they'll rethink abouttheir life choices.
And then they'll think like oh,that was pretty dumb of me to

(43:08):
say that.
I don't know why that wordswould come out of my mouth.
So Alright.

Speaker 2 (43:18):
Okay, who are your top three best friends that you
could tell anything to?
Casey from volleyball my friendOlive and nine the top days.

(43:39):
They're all like nouns nine andoh one's a number.
Olive is something you put onpizza and casey's a city.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (43:51):
Alright, if you had three wishes, what would they be
?

Speaker 1 (43:58):
Um.
Is there any rules to thewishes?

Speaker 2 (44:08):
Same as Aladdin you can't wish for somebody to fall
in love to die, or you can'twish for more wishes.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
Oh, I would wish for a big fat mansion.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
You got to clean.
It Can't even clean your room.
You gotta clean.

Speaker 1 (44:27):
It can't even clean your room and then I would wish,
I don't know, I don't reallythink about that stuff are you
that spoiled that you alreadyhave everything you wish for?

(44:50):
No, I would save the other twofor later.

Speaker 2 (44:57):
That's lame.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
That's not lame, because what if something
happens?
And then I make a wish.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
Okay, so you want to have a couple extra in the in
the queue, just in case sure allright, that was a lame answer.
If you could travel to anywhere, where would it be?
Paris?

Speaker 1 (45:23):
why paris, france?
Because I can speak French I'mjoking, I can only speak a
little bit of French but alsolike we were supposed to go when
I was 10.
But we didn't go.
So I want to go.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
Well, what about Paris?
That interests you or wants youto want to go there?

Speaker 1 (45:50):
Just like a lot of the architecture is obviously
like the buildings and stuff andlike the food is really nice
and really yummy.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
I heard, yeah, and I also take French class, so when,
somewhere in the United Statesthat you haven't been to already
?
Where would you want to go?

Speaker 1 (46:14):
San Fran.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
Really Okay.
Yeah, well, hopefully the 49ersare doing well next season and
we can go.
You'd want to go to a game withdaddy Sure and then we can go
cruise the city and you wouldlike, san fran, your vibe is
definitely that kind of vibe.
San francisco action well,we're going to new york in a few

(46:37):
days.
Are you stoked for that?

Speaker 1 (46:40):
let's go.
Yes, why are you?

Speaker 2 (46:43):
why are you so excited for new york?

Speaker 1 (46:45):
I love new york it's like I love it because it's so
city in some places and thensome places it's like like like
little small town, like awayfrom city.
I like times square, eventhough, like, there's a lot of
crazy people over there.
But like I also like the subway.

(47:07):
I think it's pretty cool butit's kind of disgusting, but
it's like it's like cool how itworks and stuff and how it like
takes you everywhere.
And then I also like shopping.
There's so much shopping overthere.

Speaker 2 (47:20):
Yeah, what is, what is, uh, some of the things you
want to do when we're in NewYork Shopping, other than
shopping.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
I want to go see snow obviously because I haven't
seen snow before and I want togo to what's that place called
the really big park, centralPark.

Speaker 2 (47:46):
Central Park yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:48):
I want to go there.

Speaker 2 (47:49):
Yeah, well, I think we're gonna have a fun vacation.
It should be.
Should be cool.
It's gonna be cold.
Um, yeah, hopefully we do seesnow.
I think we can travel to wherethe snow is.
If we don't, so I think it'sgoing down this trip.
You get to see snow.

Speaker 1 (48:08):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (48:12):
Okay, well, what are your goals for the new year?

Speaker 1 (48:23):
To do good in school and excuse me, school and excuse
me and do good in volleyball, Idon't know.

Speaker 2 (48:38):
That's like the main one alright, I guess that's an
easy answer.
I know what I want to ask you, since we were talking about
traveling earlier In your future.
If you were to go to collegeaway, where would you want to go
to college, I mean?

Speaker 1 (48:56):
you don't have to say oh, okay, just California.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Why California?

Speaker 1 (49:02):
Anywhere along closest to home.

Speaker 2 (49:05):
Yeah, so it'd be California, washington, vegas, I
guess, oregon.

Speaker 1 (49:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
I think you'd probably match the most in San
Diego, or not San Diego, but inCalifornia.
Plus two would be closer toDisneyland.
All right, oh, here's one.
What was your favorite cartoongrowing up?

Speaker 1 (49:42):
I used to watch Chippendale a lot.

Speaker 2 (49:45):
That's true.

Speaker 1 (49:47):
Like a lot, a lot.
I think that was one of myfavorites.
Like a lot, a lot.
I think that was one of myfavorites.
Oh, and also Pengu.
Like that weird, like clayanimation penguin.
That was the funniest thingever to me it was so funny, yes,
but like I think it's in likeanother language, so like I
didn't understand what he wassaying.

(50:07):
But it was just funny.

Speaker 2 (50:09):
That was the most annoying thing ever and you'd
watch it for hours and all andthen you'd stop and the rest of
the day you'd walk around thehouse going not bad.

Speaker 1 (50:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
Annoying.
What would be okay?
What would be one thing thatyou would change in this world
if you had opportunity to?

Speaker 1 (50:35):
um, like what do you mean?

Speaker 2 (50:40):
like, just like anything yeah, well, to make it
a better place, I guess um, tomake it a better place, I guess.

Speaker 1 (50:55):
I think like diseases that kill people, like cancer
and all that stuff, and yeah.

Speaker 2 (51:04):
What about it?
Get rid of it, yeah, okay.
That of it, yeah, okay, thatmakes sense.

Speaker 1 (51:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
Let's see what is your definition of aloha and how
do you show it in everyday life?
Or do you show it in everydaylife?
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (51:23):
Yes, I do, I, do, I do.

Speaker 2 (51:24):
Do you show it in everyday life?
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (51:25):
Yes, I do, I do.
I think aloha would be likejust being nice to people, like
even strangers who you don'tknow are saying like hi, how are
you?
And stuff like that, and justdon't be a rotten person.

Speaker 2 (51:51):
Like, yeah, you think daddy shows a lot of aloha,
mm-hmm.
Well, that's good.
I try to lead by example andsometimes you never know Like a
smile or a hi or have a good daycould mean the world to
somebody, and you never know howit could change their moment if

(52:11):
they're having a bad day.
So it's always good to show it.
It doesn't take any amount ofeffort or energy and anytime you
get to show aloha to somebody,it can always be a good thing.
It will always be a good thing.
All right, well, we've beengoing for almost an hour and I

any homework so I don't have tolike worry about turning
anything in in like january, andalso like spending time with

heights you reach this year andwhat accomplishments you do.
I know you have a lot of goalsboth on the court and in school.
I think you've been handlingyour first year of high school

(55:41):
very well.
I think that you've stepped upyour game and been trying really
hard.
I see you studying late atnight.
I often got to tell you it'stime for bed and you've been
handling your school more maturethan most people I know and

you.
I think I want you also to knowthat I see the amount of work
and effort that you're puttinginto your school and also
volleyball.
How do you like training at thegym?
We started recently going to 24hour fitness and putting in

(56:25):
that extra work.
How do you like doing that andbeing in the gym?
It's something different, youknow what I mean yeah it's fun
sometimes yeah.

Speaker 1 (56:39):
What don't you like about the gym?
Just like I don't know.
Just like sometimes if it'sbusy, then it's just like A
little overwhelming.

Speaker 2 (56:52):
Yeah, yeah, oh, and the stinky treadmill yeah, oh,
that is disgusting all right.
Well, um, we've been, yeah,we've been going on for over an
