Day 93: Ask AI to expose the assumptions hiding in your draft.

Hey, Ivy here. A draft can sound polished while hiding assumptions your reader may not share. So before you ask AI to rewrite it, ask AI to challenge the logic underneath it. Paste in one paragraph from an email, proposal, presentation, or post. Then say: Do not rewrite this. List five assumptions I am making about the reader, the problem, the evidence, or the proposed solution. For each assumption, quote the exact phrase that creates it and tell me what question a skeptical reader might ask. Now review that list yourself. Mark each assumption as supported, unsupported, or irrelevant. If it is supported, add the evidence. If it is unsupported, soften or remove the claim. If it is irrelevant, cut the distraction. Then ask one final question: Which single assumption is most likely to weaken trust, and what are three ways I could fix only that part? This is different from handing your writing over to AI. You are using AI as a critic, while keeping the editing and judgment in your hands. Tomorrow, we will turn a messy screenshot into a clean action list.
