SPEAKER_00 (01:29):
Well, hey there, and welcome to Straight from the
Stylist Chair.
This is a special QA series hereon All About Hair.
I'm your host, Denise Keilitz, and I'm here to answer the real
questions clients ask in thesalon so you can feel confident
and love every visit.
Welcome back to Straight fromthe Stylist Chair.

(01:51):
This is the mini-series where Ianswer your top salon questions.

Today's question is (01:56):
Can color damage be repaired?
So you had a little too much funwith bleach or color, and now
your hair feels fried.
Let's talk about repairing it.
Okay.
Many people think that oncetheir hair is damaged, it's a
lost cause.
Well, sometimes it is, sometimesit's not.

(02:18):
It depends on the damage that'sbeen done and how far damaged it
it is.
So quick fix products overpromise.
Let me just tell you that.
And people give up when one maskdoesn't work.
Well, because that's a lot toask of one mask, because you
need to rebuild a lot of thingsthat happened in your hair.

(02:42):
So while true structural damagecan't be totally undone, we can
actually rebuild bonds, strengthen with protein and
moisture treatments, we can trimthe split ends, and we can cut
back on heat to restore softnessand shine.
However, this takes time and ittakes patience.

(03:04):
It could happen within a fewweeks, yes.
It just depends on how oftenyou're doing these masks.
There are a few masks that Iknow of that work uh
unbelievably well at doing this.
And yes, Euphoria has a maskthat it really does work.
We've seen it do incrediblethings on hair.
So don't be fooled.

(03:25):
You don't have to cut your wholehair all your hair off.
Your hair can look and feeldramatically healthier in the
right hands with the rightproduct, even after it's been
damaged.
Hey, thanks for hanging out withme today.
I hope today's chat helps youwalk into your next appointment
feeling totally confident.
