It is a recoil pad company.
And you guys are what year isthis for you?

Gosh, a displaying here?
Uh, I don't even know.
I mean, they used to displaybefore us, like before I took
over, they were way back.
And I just found this out.
They actually used to grind padshere.
And I met the gunsmith, and hebrought in a grinder, set up a
little acrylic booth, which ifyou've ever browse our Instagram
and you see the mess that thismakes.

And for what is this four daysof this, would sit there and
grind pads for four straightdays.

like NSSF would be like, yeah,we're not gonna be able to do
that.

Yeah, but um it's my personal, Ithink fourth year.

And we've moved locations nowtwice and we or third time, and
we love our new location.
We got a bigger booth down inthe basement and a corner.
So we love it.

The the the first floor of the basement, like
that's a lot of people'sfavorite spot because like it is
happening down there.
Like there's a lot of majorinnovation, just great product
design, US companies, lots ofenergy down there.
Yes.

The first I I the basement, the first floor, I
don't know what everyone callsit, the dungeon.
It it's it's by far my favoritespot.
Like we were commenting theother day, like if you got
massive enough to have like abooth the size VODUS, which is a
huge booth, I'd still reallylike the basement.

Kind of want to hang out down there.
Like I now know the people downthere.
It's fun.
Everyone's like, you know, likethrowing stuff around.
Like it's it's just a reallygood time down there.

So um, so you guys have newproducts this year.
SPEAKER_03 (03:04):
Yes.

So share a little bit about that.
SPEAKER_03 (03:06):
So new stuff, both kind of in the for our core
bread and butter, which is likewho we're always taking care of
gunsmiths.
We came out with a pad with noholes so that they can kind of
infinitely fit a pad.
Um, or it can be glued on tosome stocks that I guess some of
the carbon fiber stocks, theyjust glue the pads on.
And then a lot of the new newstuff for us is prefits, so

fitting on magpull stuff,fitting on the Browning Inflex
direct replacements for some ofthe more popular pads out there.
And then that's really somethingthat going into 2025, we're
expanding on and trying to rollout more and more pads that fit
the standard guns, and that'sthat's really kind of turning
into our bread and butter stuff.
SPEAKER_00 (03:46):
That's awesome.
I have to say last night, um, soKatie Riley, she's on our board.
I love her.
But uh, she was so excited whenshe was talking about all the
kickies pads she had.
SPEAKER_03 (03:57):
Yeah, she had the Magpull one.
And that's what's awesome aboutit because it gets it gets
people that don't, you don'thave to go to a, you know, I
don't want to say you don't haveto go to a gunsmith to do it,
but you get that reallytailored, customized fit without
having to grind it yourself, youknow, or take it to someone.
So it's a great product.
SPEAKER_00 (04:14):
And yeah, she has three of your pads, and she was
it, and it takes I feel like ittakes more.
I mean, I'm I'm excited aboutanything, but I feel like Katie,
she she's a engineer, she youknow, she has that brain of you
know, technic technical brain.
And um we don't see her excitedabout things very often.

Like, I mean, she does getexcited, but not to the point
where I mean she was likebeaming last night talking about
how great it was, and that um,you know, now that she has your
kickies pads, it's it reallyhelped in in her and her
shoulder and all that stuff.
And um, and it was fun to see.
SPEAKER_03 (04:54):
That's awesome.
No, they're really, really likeI always tell people like go,
you know, go go look at usversus any of our competitors.
Like, I don't care.
Go go check them out, try themout, like whatever.
Everyone always comes back.
Like, uh you could nerd out onthe material science on what we
make our pads out of for days,and it's just it's so much
better than what everyone elseout there is offering.
It's it's great.

Yeah, it's really, really a funthing, and people get passionate
about it.
And it's fun that it's a recoilbat at the end of the day, and
people like nerd out like, oh mygod, you're the best.
Like, we had some guy who was agunsmith of ours for
40-something years come to thebooth the other day and be like,
I'm just happy they're still asgood as they used to be.
SPEAKER_01 (05:31):
Like you're baking cookies and you haven't changed
the recipe.
SPEAKER_03 (05:35):
Like, it's it's perfect, it's the best sugar
cookie.
Don't screw with it.
SPEAKER_01 (05:38):
Yeah, that's awesome.
And I but I think it also that'sshown in the partnerships that
you have and those that use yourguns.
Like you have Olympic shootersusing them, competition
shooters.
It's not just like being sold onthe shelves of like Walmart or
Aldi's.
SPEAKER_03 (05:56):
No, no.

I mean, we we are like not that there's anything
wrong with things at Walmart orAldi's.
SPEAKER_03 (06:00):
I'll deal with both those places.
But um, yeah, I mean, it lookedit just Barrett.
Barrett uses us.
They could use anyone, like theythey have a lot of energy to
absorb there, they use us, youknow, blahzer, uh Manners
composite stocks, like some ofthe best names in the industry,
we come stock on their guns.
You know, not just we fit them,they reach out to us, they buy
from us, and that's the onlyoption.
SPEAKER_01 (06:21):
So because recoils, and we talk about this often
with any type of firearm, thatoften for a new shooter could
end their shooting experience.
SPEAKER_05 (06:31):
Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01 (06:32):
Because if someone's not prepared for that recoil
shotgun, handgun, it's so can beso displeasing and just not fun
that it's it can ruin a day ofshooting.
SPEAKER_03 (06:44):
Like it's almost like ear protection.
Like you've got good earprotection.
If not, by the end of the day,your head hurts.
God, it's miserable.
You know, you go out and shootaround a sporting clays without
a proper recoil pad.
Your shoulder's gonna Yeah,yeah, you're feeling it.
Your shoulder's gonna hurt thenext couple days.

We the last time we shot clays was was a couple
months ago in that new indoorrange in Ohio, Lake Erie Arms,
and a friend.

They have an indoor clay, it'skind of like top golf, but for
shooting clays.

They do night shoots, right?
Like glow in the dark, like allsorts of stuff.
I so cool.

It's yeah, so when you guys go, I have to fly in
and go.
Um it and it's it's obviouslydifferent than you would be
outside.
And I think we were talkingabout doing it after we shot
that the interior is all blackand it's like matte black
because they've got you knowballistic shit for when the
clays explode.
And there's something I thinkwith like the depth perception

that when you're outside youjust see things differently, but
then being indoors with thelighting, it's just but it's
still fun as shit.
I mean, because when you'reshooting clays, you heckle each
other, right?
And like you're all in this likethis little area, but there's a
countdown timer and you have somany seconds.
But the way they have it timed,I think there's eight bays that
you have 60 seconds and it saysready shooter, you shoot, and

then there's it resets the clockbecause then you have the next
bay that shoots that throws thetargets.
I mean, the science is super,super amazing, but the whole
point of that is but I'm glad Ibrought it up because we're
going.
Uh, a friend of ours had nevershot clays, and the next day
he's like, Man, I'm sore.
I was like, Well, did you haveit like in the pocket of your
he's like, would have been niceto know yesterday, Jess.

Because yes, so it can ruin yourwhole day.

It really can, but yeah, we need to go to I I
seriously do want to go to thatplace.
And she's super nice.

So new stuff, both kind of in the for our core
bread and butter, which is likewho we're always taking care of
gunsmiths.
We came out with a pad with noholes so that they can kind of
infinitely fit a pad.
Um, or it can be glued on tosome stocks that I guess some of
the carbon fiber stocks, theyjust glue the pads on.
And then a lot of the new newstuff for us is prefits, so

fitting on magpull stuff,fitting on the Browning Inflex
direct replacements for some ofthe more popular pads out there.
And then that's really somethingthat going into 2025, we're
expanding on and trying to rollout more and more pads that fit
the standard guns, and that'sthat's really kind of turning
into our bread and butter stuff.

I have to say last night, um, soKatie Riley, she's on our board.
I love her.
But uh, she was so excited whenshe was talking about all the
kickies pads she had.

Yeah, she had the Magpull one.
And that's what's awesome aboutit because it gets it gets
people that don't, you don'thave to go to a, you know, I
don't want to say you don't haveto go to a gunsmith to do it,
but you get that reallytailored, customized fit without
having to grind it yourself, youknow, or take it to someone.
So it's a great product.

And yeah, she has three of your pads, and she was
it, and it takes I feel like ittakes more.
I mean, I'm I'm excited aboutanything, but I feel like Katie,
she she's a engineer, she youknow, she has that brain of you
know, technic technical brain.

Like, I mean, she does getexcited, but not to the point
where I mean she was likebeaming last night talking about
how great it was, and that um,you know, now that she has your
kickies pads, it's it reallyhelped in in her and her
shoulder and all that stuff.

better than what everyone elseout there is offering.

You know, not just we fit them,they reach out to us, they buy
from us, and that's the onlyoption.

So because recoils, and we talk about this often
with any type of firearm, thatoften for a new shooter could
end their shooting experience.

Because if someone's not prepared for that recoil
shotgun, handgun, it's so can beso displeasing and just not fun
that it's it can ruin a day ofshooting.

I mean, because when you'reshooting clays, you heckle each

countdown timer and you have somany seconds.
But the way they have it timed,I think there's eight bays that
you have 60 seconds and it saysready shooter, you shoot, and

then there's it resets the clockbecause then you have the next
bay that shoots that throws thetargets.
I mean, the science is super,super amazing, but the whole
point of that is but I'm glad Ibrought it up because we're
going.
Uh, a friend of ours had nevershot clays, and the next day
he's like, Man, I'm sore.
I was like, Well, did you haveit like in the pocket of your

Um, I don't know how, because her her daughter
got married and they ended upgetting, I think, a few
different options of weddingdresses, and this one was not
used.

I was upset that my wife spent,I don't even know how much on
one wedding.

I think it was like $200.

So her daughter got married.
Um, it was kind of like they itwasn't like a gunshot wedding or
anything like that, but they hadbeen planning it.
And um one of the things she waskind of indecisive about dresses
and um kind of getting them sentto Deb because she was uh gonna

get married around Deb's house.
So she had a wedding dressfitting, and um Deb could not
get rid of this dress.
She she could return the rest,but not this one.
So now she was.
I mean, that's a two for one,right?

She never quit and have youknow, now till April to really

your dress there, and you can bethe flower girl, maid of honor.
