During the height of World War II, Pascagoula, Mississippi residents found themselves acting as key players in the war. In a time when there was so much uncertainty and hostility toward those in certain foreign countries, people in the city realized that an enemy may very well be in their own background. After specific attacks in the area, even blackout regulations were modified so police could better investigate.
