Meet Amy Abshere, a true advocate for blending fitness and recovery. With a background in Sociology and Business Management from UC Irvine, Amy excelled as a Division 1 athlete in three sports throughout her undergrad years. She graduated with honors and pursued substance abuse counseling at UCLA.
Since 2011, Amy has been a professional in the fitness industry, working with everyone from top athletes to kids, teens, and older adults. Her extensive experience has shown her the vital role fitness and nutrition play in recovery from addiction. At Beit T'Shuvah in LA, she created a wellness program that integrates yoga, mindfulness, meditation, movement, and nutrition counseling, helping recovering addicts reconnect with their bodies.
Now, Amy is opening WORK Training Studio in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Her passion for fitness and her unique approach to meeting people where they are and guiding them to achieve the unimaginable is truly inspiring. Amy leads with humor, heart, and humility.
