(00:00):
You know, our wonderful producer here on the side, GoToHealth, she has been unbelievable.
(00:11):
You guys have both been grinding.
I've seen you.
Thank you, man.
You know, just funny, because that's how we ran into each other.
We're walking down the promenade, is that what they call it here?
And you spotted this actual shirt.
I think I was wearing it.
You go, hey, first Bitcoin.
No, it was another one.
Doesn't matter.
You go, anyway, I'm like, yeah, dude, you go into the conference.
The first Bitcoin shirt I saw since I got to Vegas.
(00:33):
I'm like, that's my guy.
And I go, okay, well, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And then go to health.
She says, hey, you're Ben Mormon?
And my God, we were like in the presence of greatness.
Thank you.
Thank you.
There's a reason that we need freedom tech.
And we need to be able to freely express ourselves.
(00:54):
and what Noster has been able to do for, shall we say, that voice.
Obviously, you took full advantage of that.
Now, you're, you're, you go, you personally, and I'm not, I'm not blowing smoke.
There's a reason I am a huge fan of you because you touch on all my hot buttons in a good way.
(01:16):
so Ben if you follow him
you can expect to hear
global political
opinions that ruffle feathers
if you are
a
what do they call those
if you believe that the earth is round
flat earther or glober
if you're a glober you won't like it
(01:37):
you're not going to like me
so that
and
carnivory health
We touch everything.
We go everywhere.
There's no stone we will leave unturned because that's why Nostro is so awesome.
You can talk about whatever you want.
You don't have to have a niche.
Yes.
Like my niche is just being a crazy person in every single area.
(01:58):
It's not crazy.
Which is great.
It's not crazy.
And, Ben, it shows that you have an open mind.
And I have an anecdote where I'll sometimes ask people, do you think the earth is flat?
And I get a weird contorted face.
And what that tells me is that they're unwilling to accept concepts.
I don't care if it's flat or round.
What difference is it really going to matter other than they've been fucking lying to us?
(02:22):
Yeah.
But it means that your mind is open.
Yeah.
And dude you are one of the most open individuals on NOSTA right now So it was a very fast rise for you What it done just in general for your podcast And what is the name of the podcast so we can follow Yeah so I the host of the Ben
Worman podcast. And I go in all sorts of different rabbit holes with really smart people because I
(02:47):
feel like that is the only thing I am really very good at and I can confidently say I'm good at is
finding the right smart people to explain things much better than me. So it's perfect for podcasting
because I know how to lob questions.
I know just enough about all these different interesting rabbit holes
where I can ask them the right questions and set them up
to take the listeners through the same journey I went through
(03:09):
that brought me to why I believe what I do,
which people usually think is crazy.
So it's my job as a podcaster to take them through the steps,
and it's super cool to see that happening in real time
when I meet people like you guys.
So many people have pulled me aside here
who are like anon accounts that I've never heard of,
But they're like, I love your podcast.
It's so cool to hear your takes.
(03:30):
I love how you explain things on Noster.
And just having Noster as a place where you can just throw stuff, anything out there.
Yes.
And I mean anything.
Because when you're on any centralized platform like Twitter or Instagram, you really have to think, am I going to post this on there?
Because at worst I could get banned or censored.
You could also just, you know, the algorithm doesn't like it when you don't get engagement.
(03:55):
Like on Twitter, if I post a song, not even controversial,
if I post a SoundCloud song I'm listening to on Twitter,
it's not going to get that many likes.
I mean, it's just a song.
But on Nostra, you might not get that many likes either,
but it doesn't hurt your algorithm standing.
So you're not punished for it by this mystery, shadowy algorithm.
So Nostra is amazing.
I love it.
It's great to be here back in the Nostra booth.
(04:17):
This has been the home base for all the cool kids.
I couldn't agree more.
And we've had so many of them come through here,
and it's been fun to talk with them and throw to the main stage once in a while.
But I don't want to keep you too long because there's lots going on.
I could stay and talk all day, my friend.
No rush.
Believe me, we could.
The audience online, we'd probably take them into some places where they're going,
(04:39):
you guys are nuts.
We could just switch this into my podcast right now and just start going for two hours.
We probably should.
Transition.
I'd be happy to be a guest one time.
Yeah, we should.
I want both of you guys on.
That'd be great.
Well, GoToHealth, we'll talk about carnivory and holistic nutrition.
and I'll talk about what Eric DubΓ© first brought to an idea and a concept.
(05:01):
You can talk about Israel and That interesting trip you guys went on If you want to go there No no we better not And for obvious reasons we still negotiating that thing
We all have to figure out how aggressive we get about the things we know.
Because even with the ultimate freedom protocol of Doster,
(05:23):
you're still taking risks when you challenge certain ideas and certain people.
So it's always a game.
I play it more aggressively than most.
but I still hold certain things.
I'm still brainstorming how I'm going to bring up certain concepts to the podcast,
but eventually everything's going to be on there.
So just subscribe and you'll find it eventually.
It's just a matter of when.
(05:44):
And spicy, but not in a shit post kind of a way.
It is.
It's, hey, you challenge the viewer, the listener, the person reading your stuff.
And, of course, hey, if you don't like it, turn it off, right?
I mean, nobody says you have to watch this.
But, yes, you definitely introduced some very challenging subjects.
(06:06):
And I think maybe because we haven't gone there in this particular stream, we'll kind of save it for your podcast later.
Because I'd love to get into it.
Trust me.
What's the plans?
What are you going to do while you're spending your last little bit in Las Vegas?
Are you going to go to Donny Osmond?
I don't.
I haven't heard of that one.
(06:26):
Is that like a show or something?
Can you tell that we've got a bit of an age difference here?
Puppy love?
Sorry.
No idea.
No, I know.
This is great.
If you're anywhere over 50 years of age, you might know what I'm talking about.
Ben, what's in your playlist?
Let's put it this way.
If you were going to post a song that was your vibe for today,
(06:49):
what would be the tune that you throw to?
Well, I throw all my weird music I listen to on Noster.
Like I was saying earlier, you're not docked for low engagement,
so I just throw every weird thing I'm listening to on there,
which is usually like really bassy, weird, electronic and trap stuff.
So Primal has a cool advanced search feature.
If you just go and just search, posted by me and Toonster,
(07:13):
which we know is a good hashtag around here,
you can see all the weird music I post.
I always throw Toonster on the tracks and I'm dropping,
so just go scroll through and listen to those.
Let me just talk about Toonster because I hope we can get them on the stream
before we close out today because we did try that.
Open mic, we've done two outside events with Toonster, one at a launch party in the golf
(07:35):
course Last night we were at a downtown the old school Fremont area of thing Original artists this is again a very cool thing that happening That brand Toonster is kind of neat
It is specifically Toonster.io with respect to those guys.
(07:55):
So there's Mike right now.
We're just paying attention.
We won't let him go.
We'll make sure he gets in here next.
Yeah, we will.
So Trip Hop?
Trap?
What's it?
What did you call it?
Oh, it's just trap and bass and trap music.
And it's not like the shitty rap music that people call trap.
Right.
Just go listen to the songs I posted on my Noster.
(08:16):
Yeah.
I got a bunch of good SoundCloud playlists.
I don't know if there's like a Noster or V4V version of SoundCloud yet.
I know if Wave Lake is kind of it.
Wave Lake, yeah.
This is actually one of my major goals for the future, next five, ten years or so,
is to start reaching back into all the music producers
and just general artists that have really colored my life up to this point.
(08:39):
Music is a lot of it for a lot of us.
Nice.
And try to get them into the value for value ecosystem
so I can start zapping them like crazy
for providing this cool soundtrack to my whole life.
So that would be cool.
Because I'd love to have them all on wavelength
so I can start posting wavelength links.
That's better than SoundCloud.
We know that.
Yes.
You've hit my hot buttons.
That's how I got into live streaming 30 years ago, folks.
(09:01):
Wow.
Audio only wanted to disrupt radio.
I'm a disruptor.
And obviously, that's why it led me to Noster and Bitcoin.
Disrupt the financial system.
Disrupt the social networks.
But yeah, I'm a former musician.
And that's what got me going.
So I love where you're going.
Love to help with that.
(09:22):
Yes.
what we should do is get
Chain Duel on just because we don't
want the stream to go too long
Ben once again the podcast for
everybody at home follow Ben Worman on
Noster and the podcast
where is the Ben
yeah so my Noster
you can just go to primal.net slash Ben
and I have a website with
(09:43):
like everything else on it Ben
W-E-H-R-M-A-N
dot com has a podcast
I got a blog that I throw stuff on there
sometimes I'm just throwing stuff
all over the place, but it'll all be on Nostra.
That's the future, for sure.
It is indeed.
Thanks for taking the time, man.
The reverend.
I cannot be more grateful that we ran into each other on the street.
(10:03):
Yes, it was a blessing.
And we're going to spend more time in the near future, I'm sure.
Absolutely.
Okay, folks, we'll be back.
Just break away for a second, get the next interview lined up.
Good stuff.
Love it.
