Season 7 is inspired by the powerful quote by Krishnamurti: "It is no measure of health to be well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society," we're diving into the deep work of healing—not just as self-care, but as a path to purpose, dharma, and collective transformation.
Adina and Joshua continue their exploration of how to cultivate wellness within a profoundly sick society with a conversation about interdependence vs hyper individuality. They discussed the importance of reclaiming connection in a fragmented world, and the impact of societal emphasis on individualism. They also explored the challenges of vulnerability and authenticity in social interactions, the influence of capitalism and other dominant social structures, and the importance of self-discovery and reconnecting with nature and spirit. The conversation ended with acknowledgment of the paradox of needing community to develop a healthy sense of self while needing to know oneself in order to feel comfortable in community.
Joshua Zamrin is a nomadic soul guide, somatic life coach, and sacred purpose mentor, deeply immersed in the realms of embodiment, shamanic wisdom, and mythopoetic exploration. With a background in nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and compassionate communication, he weaves together ancient and modern practices to help others reconnect with their deepest truth. His work is rooted in rites of passage, initiation, and the sacred journey of becoming, drawing inspiration from indigenous traditions, soul-centered psychology, and the raw wisdom of nature.
