On our first segment today, we have a little game we like to
claw stump the theologian. And today we have a new guest.
Reader, this is my favorite youngest child, Malachi, Why
don't you come on over here and read us our question today.
OK, All right, shake them up. Shake them up and reach in the
hat. Here's the mic.

Why does God forgive us? All right, why does God forgive?
Us Why does God forgive us? Well, so it's not how so we get
to skip that part. So the the very question, why?
Very good question, very profound.
But I think it's also a simple answer, even though it is
profound. And it's just the idea that God

loves us, so he didn't have to do anything for us.
Mankind messed up Adam and Eve in the garden, Genesis 3, there
was sin, utterly rejecting him, hating him, not wanting him.
God had to go to them, but He came up with this plan of
redemption even before He condemned one single person.
He already had a plan of how sins would be forgiven.

And why does He do that? It is simply for one thing to
have a relationship with us, a happy, harmonious relationship.
That's a really beautiful thing.Is that because I'm special?
Because he's special. That's right.
Well, you know, he we're specialto him, You know what I mean?
Like in that sense. Yeah.
Yeah. And that and the offer is freely

given. But he does not force us to love
him. You know, love, by the very
definition, is free. It's a free choice.
So yes, we, we. He chooses us.
We choose him. It's a happy relationship.
Yeah. All right.
