I recognize that a lot of the people I have on the show are business owners or freelancers that have created their own opportunities and built a career on their own...But I know that isnt the only way to be successful. I have been looking for someone who I could have on the show who went another route to be a successful nerd but doing it for another business in the industry that they love, and finally I have found someone who was willing to come on and share their story.
Meet Andrew Searles. He is a Product manager for D&D Beyond, and has found his dream job of figuring out how to make RPG players have a better experience in their games. Andrew has a lot to share in this episode and an amazing story of how he got to where he is now. I tried asking questions that any listener might have when it came to finding a company they like that they would want to work for and Andrew didnt hold anything back when I asked.
