From launching a dream offer to finally taking that solo trip (without wiping noses), Whitney dives into why summer is the perfect season to shake things up. You’ll get a simple step-by-step challenge to stop waiting and start doing, even if it’s imperfect and messy. Spoiler: she’s doing it with you!

Whether you're stuck in analysis paralysis or just waiting for life to “calm down” (spoiler: it won’t), this episode will light a fire under your coffee cup.

Your Summer Bold Move Challenge:

  1. Name it: What’s your one bold move you’d regret not doing?
  2. Break it down: Find the smallest first step—you only need one!
  3. Set a fun deadline: 30, 60, or 90 days. Make it playful, not pressure-filled.
  4. Tell someone: DM Whitney on Instagram (@caffeinatedchaospodcast) for hype & support!
  5. Celebrate halfway: Don’t wait till it’s done to be proud—you started, and that counts!

Hey, hey.
Welcome back to Cafe Chaos.
Where, let's see, the coffee isstrong, the kids are loud, and
we're doing our best to builddreams without losing our minds.

(00:46):
Am I right?
Okay.
Today's episode is your littlenudge, your permission slip, and
maybe even your sign from theuniverse, it's time to make one
bold move this summer.
Let's be honest, summer, has aweird kind of magic.
Something about those longerdays, sticky Popsicle fingers
and target runs for sunscreen.

(01:06):
That makes you feel like, hmm, maybe just, maybe this is the
season where something shifts.
So here's the question I wantyou to sit with today.
What's one brave thing you'vebeen wanting to do and what
would happen if you actually didit?

(01:29):
Okay.
Full transparency.
Every summer I have this dreamyvision of finally writing that
book, launching that offer, ortaking a solo day trip without
wiping someone else's nose.
But we all know, usually lifegets.
Ing the laundry multiplies.
Kids decide they no longer wantfoods they literally loved

(01:49):
yesterday, and the big, boldthings, well, they wait.
But this year I'm calling it nomore.
Not this time.
And not just for me, but for youtoo.
Whether it's launching.
And not just for me, but for youtoo.

(02:10):
Whether it's launching yourshop, booking your therapy
session, signing up for the gym, asking for the raise, pitching a
collab, or saying no tosomething that you've been
draining, that's been drainingyou.
Well, this summer is your chanceto pick one thing and go for it.
Not 12 things, not a totalreinvention.

(02:31):
Let's just all pick one boldmove.
For me, my one bold move thissummer is I am going to be
launching, hopefully, no, I willdo it.
I will launch a main, coreoffer.
I know it's scary because evennow the imposter syndrome is

(02:54):
setting in and I'm just talkingto you and I know.
That I need to do it because Ihave been sitting on this for so
long and I need to just jumpforward.
I put it off for too long, andthis season I am going to be
done waiting.
So I am choosing to take myfirst messy step.

(03:16):
It's not gonna be perfect, Iknow that, but it's a real one
and I am gonna do this challengewith all of you as well.
It's just one real step.
Alright friends, if your innerchaos brain is already spinning

(03:40):
here, how to make this simpleone name your bold move.
What's the one thing you'dregret?
Not doing this summer.
Two, break it down.
What's the smallest first step?
We talk about it here a lot onthe podcast.
We like to give first actionablesteps.
So think about it in that way.

(04:01):
What is your first actionablestep for your bold move?
You don't need to take the wholestaircase, you just need to go
the first step.
Three.
Set a fun deadline.
Give yourself 30, 60, 90 dayssomething playful and not too
pressure.
Pressury, not too much pressure.

(04:22):
You know what I mean?
Four.
Tell somebody bonus points ofyou DM me your bold move.
I be your hype squad 100%.
You should have somebody in yourcorner.
Five.
Celebrate halfway.
Don't wait until the end to feelproud.
Celebrate when you start.

(04:43):
You are allowed to want more.
You are allowed to be scared anddo it anyway, and you don't have
to wait for fall or January orwhen things calm down because
let's be real.
That mythical calm down in ahouse full of kids where you're
running your own business, neverreally shows up, does it?

(05:07):
So this summer, I dare you makeone bold move for the dream, for
your future self, for theversion of you that's been
whispering.
Let's go'cause you've got thisand I am cheering you on every
step of the way.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
