We've been waiting all day fortwo minutes.
But now we're excited because wegot the claps and we are
welcoming y'all back to Can IVibe?

(00:52):
With y'all, where the vibes areimmaculate.
Every time we hop up in here, weare so so so excited.

We are a reunion.

SPEAKER_00 (01:04):
I am so excited as if we're in Miami right now,
about to vibe.
Like, who do I think I am rightnow?

SPEAKER_04 (01:10):
This is what we do here in Miami.
And if you're like, if you'relistening, you're hearing the
different accent, if you'reseeing, she got the the bright
on-brand dress.
I love this go, by the way.

SPEAKER_01 (01:22):
Yeah, I'm wearing a very bright dress.
It's actually from my mom'sbrand, Torty Swim.
So that's where we're here,Miami Swim Week.
But it actually matches yourbrand.
And I feel like that's lovethat.

SPEAKER_04 (01:30):
It was it was perfect.
Uh, but like we were saying, this is a reunion because we met
at the Grammys earlier thisyear.

SPEAKER_01 (01:38):
I was telling my friends, I was telling everyone
I was with, I was like, Yeah, yeah, I'm just going to do this
podcast.
Yeah, I met them at the Grammys.
I was like, yeah, yeah, no, no,no.

SPEAKER_00 (01:47):
Yeah, we met at the Grammys.
Like that's self to flex.
Like, we all think about it.
That was amazing.

SPEAKER_04 (01:52):
We are feeling ourselves right now.
You did the thing at theGrammys, though.
I know.
Was that your first one?

SPEAKER_01 (01:57):
It was my first ever Grammys.

SPEAKER_04 (01:59):
You were walking up.
Like, you look like you ownedthe place.

SPEAKER_01 (02:02):
I did, guys.
No, I'm joking.
I'm joking.
I honestly I come from a very, very small village in Scotland,
and I've had Grammys on thatmanifestation board for so long.
So see when I was actuallythere, I was actually like,
wait, like it comes true.

SPEAKER_04 (02:16):
It came natural to you.

SPEAKER_01 (02:17):
Yeah, it was it was incredible.

SPEAKER_04 (02:18):
In your red carpet walk, all of it.
Okay.

SPEAKER_01 (02:20):
Guys, I'm grateful.

SPEAKER_04 (02:22):
Uh, y'all, y'all can hear the story too, but it was
our first one as well.
Okay.
So we're kind of just waiting inline, seeing all the other
creators and artists go ahead ofus.
And I'm like, oh, they're doingthis for real.
Like, this is like this is yoursixth one for the shooting show.

SPEAKER_00 (02:37):
Guys, I'm like, I like it.

SPEAKER_05 (02:39):
And we have to wait on the group picture for you, by
the way.
Just throw the show.

SPEAKER_00 (02:44):
We did our group picture, and I'm just giving the
group picture.

SPEAKER_01 (02:48):
I was wearing similar to what I'm wearing now,
very bright cartoons, big trail.
My hair was up.
It was given it all, it was veryloud.
But like, that's kind of what Ido.
Like, so you know, and you guyslooked great.
What are you talking about?

SPEAKER_05 (03:02):
Oh, stop.

SPEAKER_04 (03:08):
Throw the footage back.
We'll throw the footage inthere.
Um, but yes, it was uh, as youknow, it was all very
fast-paced.
Yes, that whole few days, um,where we got to meet and connect
with people, but we didn'treally get to like fully know,
you know, what people do andwhatnot.
Uh, and we we saw you make somemusic.
I was like, oh, it makes sensewhile you're at the Grammys.

SPEAKER_06 (03:29):
Yes.

SPEAKER_04 (03:29):
Um, so we want to talk about that.

SPEAKER_06 (03:31):
Please.

SPEAKER_04 (03:32):
Um, especially coming from across the pond.
It's a whole you're our, Ithink, probably our first guest
ever from Scotland.

SPEAKER_01 (03:39):
Oh, I'm honored.

SPEAKER_04 (03:40):
I'm definitely first.

SPEAKER_01 (03:42):
Scotland is on the can I vibe map.
I love that.

SPEAKER_04 (03:46):
Can we vibe with Scotland?

SPEAKER_00 (03:47):
Yes, you're welcome.

SPEAKER_04 (03:49):
So I'm actually curious to hear a little your
backstory.
I'm not gonna lie to you.
I don't know anything aboutScotland besides the bagpipes.

SPEAKER_01 (03:55):
That's okay.

SPEAKER_04 (03:56):
And I feel like that's probably what you hear
all the time.

SPEAKER_01 (03:59):
I know.
I feel like I need to put themin a song.
If I could, I would have done itby now.

SPEAKER_03 (04:02):
But they're I mean the skirts and the kilt, yeah,
yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01 (04:07):
Kilt, kill.
I I actually said my brothershould have worn that to the
Grammys.
That would have been iconic.
Yes, my brother.
She wanted to know that.

SPEAKER_04 (04:14):
Yeah, he had the kilt fit on though.

SPEAKER_01 (04:17):
Yeah, but we I wanted Fulbright's skirt.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (04:21):
He could have rocked it.

SPEAKER_01 (04:22):
Yeah, I know.
So anyway, yeah, Scotland is.
I feel like Scotland's likebecoming really cool again.
And especially when I come toAmerica, y'all are like, oh my
god, Scotland.
I didn't even know.
I don't know.
I sound like I'm like, guys, I'mfrom Scotland.
Scotland, and it doesn't matterwhere I go in America, you all
have a relation to Scotland.
Oh my god, my greatgrandmother's cat is from there.

(04:43):
I'm like, yes, honey.
We have zero relationships.

SPEAKER_05 (04:45):
I don't know if we have a relationship with
Scotland, but wow.

SPEAKER_01 (04:49):
See, you you see when you you try to Scotland.

SPEAKER_04 (04:52):
Yeah, I have no relation to Scotland.

SPEAKER_01 (04:53):
No, no, when they're trying to beat me, they say it
like that.
But when they're trying to makea conversation, it's the die.

SPEAKER_04 (04:58):
It's the burning question.
Who really has the accent?
Is it the Europeans or theAmericans?

SPEAKER_01 (05:03):
Oh my god, what the Americans are crazy.
I love the fact that you guyshave so many accents.

SPEAKER_04 (05:08):
Like, don't hear a Florida accent.

SPEAKER_01 (05:10):
Like, I just love it.
Like, I'll eat an Americanaccent up, so like, yeah, love
it.

SPEAKER_04 (05:14):
So, what's your favorite American accent?

SPEAKER_01 (05:15):
Um, the New York.
I did a TikTok once and I waslike, yeah, like I'm eating
peanuts in New York.

SPEAKER_00 (05:25):
And then and it was really bad.
It was a really bad accent.
And I was like, why are wesaying that Margot Robbie?
And I was like, I'm sure thatmight not be.

SPEAKER_03 (05:34):
Can you give us some Scotland lingo that we can just
take and just eat up?

SPEAKER_01 (05:38):
Um, well, there's like a dinny ken, which means a
dinny ken.

SPEAKER_04 (05:42):
A dinny ken?

SPEAKER_01 (05:43):
Which means I don't know.
I dinny ken.
I don't know.

SPEAKER_04 (05:47):
A dinny ken.
I don't know.
A dinnykin.

SPEAKER_01 (05:49):
Or like, you know what you could say, actually,
which could work, likerealistically.
Oh, I'm away with the fairies.
What would that?

SPEAKER_04 (05:55):
What does that mean?
A wave at the fairies?

SPEAKER_01 (05:57):
Away with the fairies, which means you're
drunk.

SPEAKER_04 (05:59):
Oh, I've been away with the fairies.
Yeah, I'm away with the fairydrink.

SPEAKER_01 (06:03):
Like, I feel like that's a thing.
We can make that.

SPEAKER_04 (06:05):
Yeah, for sure, for sure.

SPEAKER_01 (06:06):
So, yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (06:07):
Say it one more time.
I like that one.

SPEAKER_01 (06:08):
Away with the fairies.

SPEAKER_04 (06:09):
Away with the fairies.

SPEAKER_00 (06:10):
I love the fact that you asked any Scottish fairies
and I was like, well, the onefor when they're drunk.

SPEAKER_04 (06:15):
All right, away with the fairies.
How do we, if I meet a Scottishlady one day, how would I say,
like, you know, some somethingromantic?

SPEAKER_01 (06:23):
Ooh, um, did you guys say hen?
Huh?
Hen.

SPEAKER_04 (06:30):
Like H-E-N?

SPEAKER_01 (06:31):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (06:32):
Hen.

SPEAKER_01 (06:32):
Yeah, like um, I'm a wee hen.

SPEAKER_04 (06:35):
Oh like What's that mean?

SPEAKER_01 (06:37):
Oh, we I use we all.
I forget that's not an Americanthing.
We like I'm a wee?
I'm a wee bit cold.

SPEAKER_04 (06:43):
Okay, I've I've heard that.
I'm a wee bit cold.
Yeah, a wee bit.

SPEAKER_01 (06:46):
I'm a wee bit excited.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm a wee bit ready to drinkright now, you know.
Like one of them.
So yeah, okay.
But hen, so it means like girl,or like your right hen?
Uh your right hen.
It's like it's like it's likebabe, you know?

SPEAKER_04 (06:57):
Like, hen.
How you doing, hen?
Come on, hen.
Yeah, listen, yeah.
Oh, I'm eating.
I'm expanding international.

SPEAKER_00 (07:04):
Yeah, you're international.
You're you're you've crossed thepond.

SPEAKER_04 (07:06):
So, what was it like making music over there?

SPEAKER_01 (07:09):
So I came from a very busy household.
Like, I've got three siblings,my two crazy parents.
Um, my dad was a jazz pianist,he did like film scores, so
jazz, music was all around myhouse since I can remember.
My mom was in marketing andbranding, so like it was such a
like if you want it, go get ithousehold, like work harder, go

(07:31):
again, like dry your eyes.
Like, Scottish people are verytough, so there's zero sympathy.
Like, no matter what goes wrong, zero sympathy.
Work harder.
Like, that was like the workethic.
So, um, for me, like I justloved music.
I used to like put on talentshows in my sitting room.
I used to make my sister do it.
And my sister's the opposite ofme.
She's in finance, she's likevery serious, she's like all

(07:52):
beauty and brains, and I'm like, come on, let's go.
Anyway, so um, as I grew up, Ijust didn't shop.
And then um eventually I startedlike asking my dad, like, please
just let me like sing some songsfor you.
And he just was like, Okay, fine, like like at the end, and
um, I did this little like demotape with my dad, very
gratefully.
And um, when I was on holidayfor my granddad's birthday, we

(08:15):
found out that Elton John wasstaying in this hotel, so I kept
like walking about trying tolike find him, and I was like,
Oh my god, like I'm gonna meetElton John, and I was only 13.
I just thought it was so cool.
And um, obviously I didn't meethim, but when the day we were
leaving, I saw Elton John'shusband at breakfast.
So I went up to him, took myyounger brothers, Johnny, Zach,
who must have been like five andthree at the time.

(08:37):
Like they're so small, but who'sgonna say no to a kid?
And I was like, hi, I'm Taliafrom Scotland.
Can I give you my demo?
And you pass it to Elton, likethis pure like confidence, like
no other.
And then 24 hours later, EltonJohn called my mobile saying,
Hey, I love your voice.
Will you open my concert inScotland?

SPEAKER_04 (08:52):
Oh, wow, this is at 13.

SPEAKER_01 (08:54):
No, when I look back as a 27-year-old lady, I look
back and think, That's insanethat I did that at 13.
I'll see 13 year olds now, andI'm like, there's no way I did
that.
Like, I that is unhinged, butlike nothing's changed.
I'm still the exact same way.

SPEAKER_04 (09:07):
And um that probably like gave you a boost of
confidence.

SPEAKER_01 (09:10):
Uh but you know, I am from Scotland, so I'm not
gonna lie, like the bullyingthat came after that was I had
to move school, it was so bad.
Like, people would throw paperat me in the hall.
Like, it was like why were theybullying?
Who do you think you are?
Like, it wasn't like uh so y'allgot haters too.
Yeah, it was like, butScotland's very known for that,
and I definitely wouldn't bewhere I am with that tough

(09:31):
Scottish grit.
Like, it's people always say,Oh, there's bullying capital of
the world.
Okay, that's a bit much, but itis tough.
Like, you can't like put yourhead above that water, but
because of that training as akid of like you just dry your
eyes, honey, doesn't matter whatthey say, like laser focus.
That definitely got with mewhere I am.
Cause I'm like, I'm like withLusworth and I, I'm like, honey,

(09:53):
like, I know they're all in myDMs trying to be my friend.
I'm like, I don't forget.
I know your names, I I know youlive, like, I don't, I don't
want to be your friend.
I I remember.

SPEAKER_04 (10:02):
I was actually curious because um I did read
about how you were found by SirElton John, but I didn't know
how.
I didn't, I thought, you know, you just heard your music one
day.
Like you really hand deliveredit to him.

SPEAKER_01 (10:13):
But I'm not gonna lie, every single thing in my
life, I genuinely have knockedthat door.
Now, don't get me wrong, I havebeen built by my mother in the
best way possible.
Like, everything is because ofher.
She's taught me everything Iknow, like genuinely.
But like, if it's down to like aradio draw, bro, like even at
the Grammys, like it's allphysically me going out and like
emailing and chatting and likenetworking.

(10:35):
So I like I'm a big believer.
If you want that, go find it.
Like, you know, they're alwayslike you're like three people
away from the person.
Go chat your way.
This is true.
I can yap my way anywhere.
Like, we're gonna be all right.

SPEAKER_04 (10:45):
With the Grammys, did you reach out to them?

SPEAKER_01 (10:47):
100%.
Oh, I went to uh way into theGrammys.
Look at that.
I yapped my way into theGrammys, and I'm gonna do it
again and again.

SPEAKER_05 (10:55):
And that's see you next year, guys.

SPEAKER_01 (10:57):
Don't worry, I'll see you there.
We all go.
No, but seriously, like I'meverybody always asks me,
they're like, How have you done, you know, they'll ask me a
random thing they've seen onInstagram?
I'm like, guys, like slidingpeople's DMs.
Like, do you understand theprivilege we have of like a
phone and LinkedIn?
Everyone is there, talking toanyone you want, yeah.
Anybody, and like no shame, likeyou can't.

(11:17):
And I think the the older I getand the more experiences I have,
the people that read it at thetop, they've gone out their way
and done that themselves.
They're knocking the doors, they're being unapologetic and
slightly ruthless with it, youknow?

SPEAKER_04 (11:29):
That's how you gotta be.
That's just like that's how youcome up.
I love it.
And it makes so much sense whenI as I read this.
You've been on some red carpets, and you walk the walk.

SPEAKER_01 (11:39):
I walk the walk.

SPEAKER_04 (11:40):
Where did that come from?
Where did you how did you startdoing that?

SPEAKER_01 (11:43):
Where did it come from?

SPEAKER_04 (11:45):
What are some big names you've you've been with?

SPEAKER_01 (11:47):
That's such an interesting question.
Where's it come from?
It's always been in me.
I've always been super confidentwhen it comes to being Talia
Storm.
Because my real name is Natalia,so I am like the definition of a
Scorpio.
So you will catch me, you willcatch me on a quiet one being
like silence, like I won't evenspeak.
Like, I am either I don't speak,I'm trying to drink a white claw

(12:09):
on my own, or like I'm at theGrammys, like strutting my stuff
like you've never seen before, you know?
So I think it's just in me.
Like, I can't explain it.

SPEAKER_05 (12:18):
I definitely feel like you can't, yeah, you can't
fake any of this.

SPEAKER_04 (12:21):
Like, this is and that was our first impression of
you because I remember like likethat was our obviously that was
our first time doing like amajor event like that, and it
was like, yo, like kind ofstarstruck, you know, you mean
all these people, and it's justlike obviously everyone kind of
has that confidence to be there.
Like everyone's like to acertain extent, I deserve to be
here.
Like I did something, but withyou, it was just like well, I

(12:43):
just remember they just did myshow.
They put us, they put us in thecreator like van, I guess.

SPEAKER_00 (12:48):
The sprinter.
I actually I've never been inone of those sprinters before.
I felt so lit.

SPEAKER_03 (12:53):
I was like, and it was so random, it was just like
hoping the sprinter, and it wasjust like, oh, we're with all
these people.

SPEAKER_01 (12:58):
But the slabs always use that to the man gala.
Yeah, so I was like, Whoa, thisis the real experience.
Like, we're getting full Grammyexperience.

SPEAKER_04 (13:04):
And you did, you had I didn't know Johnny was your
brother until today.
I thought he was a cameraman.
Like Johnny just keep the camerarotating, Johnny.
Get everything.
Johnny going, I'm like, oh,camera brother.
That's the art, but this is whatI mean.

SPEAKER_01 (13:14):
Like, we're just built for it.
Like, my brother knows mybrother's a DJ, by the way.
Like, Johnny is the DJ.
Johnny's doing so well rightnow.
I'm like, I take him over.
I took him to Sirius XM thismorning.
I'm like, we're ever.
He's here, he's in Miami.
So um, yeah, it's just in us.
Like, go if you want it, go getit.
Like, and it, you know, don'tget me wrong, there's one
million gazillion nils, butlike, dry your eyes, honey.

(13:34):
We go again, you know?
So dry your eyes, honey.
Dry your eyes, dry your eyes, honey.

SPEAKER_03 (13:38):
Dry your eyes, hen.
We go again.
Drive your eyes.

SPEAKER_00 (13:43):
Basically, we love that for us.

SPEAKER_04 (13:45):
You have an EP coming out.
Yes, and I'm I want to hearabout it, I want to hear all
about it.
How long you've been working onit, what motivated it?
Yeah, everything.

SPEAKER_01 (13:54):
Okay, so obviously, I've been doing music for so
long.
You know, 13 Elm John Woman.
Now, when I was actually 15, Igot a five-album world deal with
Capitol Records in Los Angeles.
It was Ron Fair that signed me.
Um obviously he's behindChristina Aguilera, Piscett
Dolls.
He is the goat, especially of mylike RB, my roots were jazz.
So, um, and at the time Drake'slawyer was my lawyer, we got to

(14:16):
meet Drake, all this stuff.
Six months to sign this deal, boom boom, signed it.
And I'm not even joking, sixweeks into like signing it, Ron
gets fired.
And then we're like, what now?
What do you mean?
Like, what what now?
And I'll never forget.
And they're like, Yeah, well, your Air and R is gone, so we're
gonna make you Katie Perry.

(14:36):
And I was like, Whoa, thatcouldn't even sing fast at the
time, like I was very like jazzyand small.

SPEAKER_04 (14:41):
You said you were 15?

SPEAKER_01 (14:42):
Yeah, 15.
And uh one the first signed, itwas 14, so it took a year to
really sign.
And then um our lawyer, who'sdrinking's lawyer, was like, yo,
we gotta get you out of thedeal.
It's like, what do you mean?
And I'm as I'm there in myschool in Scotland, like, and
all my friends are like laughingat me, and I'm thinking, no, no,
don't worry, I've got this dealcoming, like it's all gonna be
great.
And then yeah, so it was a yearto set up, and then we're right.

(15:02):
So that was a real moment, andevery single singer in the world
has a story like this.
This is just very commonpractice, but at the time I
didn't know that, but thatdefinitely taught me like okay,
like this is gonna take a bitmore work.
And I remember at 13 Elton waslike, this is gonna take you at
least 10 years.
And at the time I was like, no,like, watch me, you know.
And here I was.
So, anyway, from that I realizedI'm gonna have to be so much

(15:25):
more than a singer if I makethis work.
Like, I'm in Scotland at thetime.
I was like, I want to be inLondon.
So then I was like, okay, we'regonna get on Instagram, we're
gonna start creating, we'regonna, you know, TV, we're gonna
present.
I was willing to do anythingthat was possible to just allow
me to be in London.
And I come from an amazingfamily, but my mom is incredibly
strict.
So she was like, Well, first ofall, we need straight ladies in
school, and second of all, youneed to be able to pay your own

(15:47):
rent.
Now, my mom, I'm not gonna lie,she could have easily paid that
rent.
Like, I'm not trying to pretendshe couldn't, but she is a
strict little lady.
She was a strict little lady, and yeah, don't think this was
easy.
Like, at one point, I had tolike move out.
I was saying to my friends, I'mthinking, like, but mom's like,
Well, you can move back toScotland, and I'm like, no, no,
like I'm gonna do this.

(16:08):
So, anyway, along the way, Ijust I was like, the music's
gonna win.
Like the music, at the end ofthe day, all of this is just it
doesn't matter because it'sabout the music.
So fast forward to now, the EP,A Storm is coming, is finished.
I made it with Camper, who isone of my favorite RB producers.
It's um ICU, Coco Jones, likeDoja Cat, Akani, like everyone I

(16:29):
love.
So um, we did it about actuallytwo years ago now, and um, it
was all thanks to Jason Joshua, who's an amazing mixing engineer
mixed by Mike Sieberg, and itwas just an amazing like full
circle moment of like everysingle person I'd ever want to
work with on this one EP.
And um when is it released?
Um, the 19th of June.
So like two weeks.

SPEAKER_04 (16:49):
19th of June, say the date.

SPEAKER_01 (16:51):
Yeah, but if this comes out after, it's coming out
soon.

SPEAKER_04 (16:54):
So is this like an RB album?
R B EP?

SPEAKER_01 (16:57):
RB EP, yes, and um I do have a feature on there,
which I'm not even gonna sayuntil it's out because honestly,
guys, that first of all, soexciting.
Second of all, this musicindustry is very difficult, and
I'm independent artist, so untilthat song is physically out, I'm
not telling a soul.

SPEAKER_00 (17:13):
She's independent.

SPEAKER_01 (17:14):
Yeah, I'm like, I can't jinx it.
Like, you don't understand whattakes, like, especially when
you're working with these bigguys, they have like 50 people
on their team, they have 50lawyers, they have 50 lawyers'
brothers, you speak to them alland get all of the approvals.
Okay, so until that's physicallyout on spot fine essential the
link.
Stay tuned.

SPEAKER_05 (17:30):
Can't wait, can't wait.

SPEAKER_03 (17:32):
Do you think do you think it's harder for an art an
artist coming across the pondversus an artist being here
physically in the state?

SPEAKER_01 (17:41):
Well, it it's a catch me too, because obviously
you're super exciting if youcome from the UK, but the second
of all, you know, who cares?
Yeah.
This is our favorite line in ourfamily, who cares?

SPEAKER_04 (17:52):
I always wondered this.
Are you in the UK now?

SPEAKER_01 (17:56):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (17:56):
Okay.
Sometimes with uh music andacting, I hear the accent when
they talk, but in the music, Ican't hear.
I'm like, oh, I never knew theywere from across the pond.
Yeah, I don't sing with aScottish accent.
No.

SPEAKER_01 (18:12):
That's a good question.
Why?
I don't know.
You know why?
So I think it's just because ofwhat we listen to.
Like realistically.

SPEAKER_04 (18:18):
Do you listen to a lot of American music?

SPEAKER_01 (18:20):
Oh my god, it's all but when I was young, it used to
be like Erica Padu, Jill Scott,I would say we were older, we
were more Bryson Teller, J.
Cole, and then I'd have like I'dhave different phases, like it
could be a Coco Jones, it couldbe uh Harrisza, um, Summer
Walker.
Like, no, I like like the newgirlies, like I love Sailor
Obsessed with her.

(18:40):
She's an RB girly.
Um, but it the UK is bringingout some bangers right now.
Like it really is.

SPEAKER_04 (18:47):
Like, I this was about like six months ago, but
um, I'm listening to OliviaDean.
And I I it wasn't until I heardher speak, I'm like, I didn't
realize we didn't realize to theGrammys.

SPEAKER_03 (18:59):
Well, I didn't realize to the Grammys.
I s I swear.
They were like, Oh yeah, she'snominated, and then when she
spoke at the Grammys, I waslike, Where is she from?

SPEAKER_01 (19:08):
But she's one of my favorite stories because have
you seen all the interviewsabout her?
Like 10 years, nobody cared.
And she's she has been thatimpeccable, that flawless, that
incredible for 10 years.
Like, this is a tough game tocrack.
So yeah, I love her.
And she only played BBCIntroducing three years ago.
Do you understand how insanethat is?
BBC Introducing is like ourradio station, like new people
stage.

SPEAKER_04 (19:27):
I saw the video where she performed like 10
people there.
And this was like that was it?
Yeah, it was like 2023 orsomething like that.

SPEAKER_01 (19:33):
That was the year, but that wasn't the video.
I saw that video as well.
She was doing a million gigs tolike 10 people, and like now
it's like she's the greatestperson ever.
I love her so much.

SPEAKER_04 (19:42):
So next year you're winning a Grammy.

SPEAKER_01 (19:44):
Yeah, well, let's get to BBC Introducing first.

SPEAKER_04 (19:49):
We're gonna we're gonna be attending like I'll be
there.
I promise I'll be there.

SPEAKER_00 (19:53):
Oh, yeah.
You're definitely guys, you'regonna be there.

SPEAKER_01 (19:55):
We're all gonna be there next year.

SPEAKER_04 (19:56):
I'm sorry.
Everybody in here goes toGrammys.

SPEAKER_01 (19:58):
Yeah, 100%.
100%.

SPEAKER_04 (20:00):
Tyler gonna pitch it for us.

SPEAKER_01 (20:01):
Yeah, yeah, guys.
Well, I'll get on it.
I got all my emails.
You know what the thing is, youknow, this is my biggest pet
peeve.
Not that this is gonna be, we'regonna use this.
My biggest pet peeve when peopleask a singer to sing and then
they don't sing, so I actuallyneed to sing.
I hate it.
No, it's my biggest pet as asinger.
I'm like, oh my god, bitch, shehad one job sing.
Like, honey, dance muscles.
Like, come on, honey.
Right.
Let's sing.

SPEAKER_00 (20:21):
We're here to talk about singing.
Trust, I get it.

SPEAKER_05 (20:23):
I get it.

SPEAKER_00 (20:25):
Okay, wait.

SPEAKER_01 (20:25):
But you know, this is you know, this is why I'm
really good at presenting andhosting.
It's because this takes zerothought.
The moment I'm like singing, I'mlike, I know, trust me, I know.

SPEAKER_06 (20:37):
Wow.
You want us to wait till theend?

SPEAKER_04 (20:38):
We can wait till we're gonna go.
We'll play the game.
We'll play the game.

SPEAKER_03 (20:42):
All right, we'll we'll go to something more a
little bit easier.
Okay, let's go.
UK versus US.
We can go dating, music, culture, accents, food, whatever
you want.

SPEAKER_04 (20:53):
What do you kind of gravitate towards more?
Well, let's go all the topics.

SPEAKER_01 (20:57):
Oh, yeah, let's do all the topics.
I like it.
Okay, so dating, veryinteresting because my London
boys, very non-talon, very likeWID.
So you're getting like, bro, Ican't be bothered.
Like, I can't.
Like, I'm I'm not gonna lie.
I I'm on my way, but I'm stillsuccessful young women.
Like, either come correct orleave me alone.
I don't need it right now, okay?
I I can't.

(21:17):
Okay, but but but but myAmerican boys.
Oh dear, oh dear.
Very normal to have so manymultiple women so openly.

SPEAKER_05 (21:28):
What a American boy.

SPEAKER_00 (21:30):
At least my London boys lie.

SPEAKER_05 (21:32):
That must be an LA thing.
I don't know.
Okay, maybe it's LA, but it mustbe LA.

SPEAKER_01 (21:37):
Seriously, like I've got a visa to have to be well
behaved.
Otherwise, I'd really love tohave a serious chat with these
boys.
I'm like, you can't be thatserious.
Like, it's not the vibe, okay?

SPEAKER_05 (21:46):
Oh, so you take the nonchalant over the multiple
women.

SPEAKER_01 (21:49):
It's the audacity to be so open about it.
It's kind of like, well, this isit.
So, like, if you don't want topick.

SPEAKER_04 (21:55):
You gotta pick one.

SPEAKER_01 (21:55):
Y'all got divas.
I'm going from a Londonnon-talk.
We got divas.

SPEAKER_04 (21:58):
No, we're divas and we're

SPEAKER_05 (22:00):
Sassy.

SPEAKER_01 (22:00):
You're all divas.

SPEAKER_04 (22:02):
Wow.
Wow.

SPEAKER_01 (22:06):
It's my job.
It's my job to be the diva.

SPEAKER_04 (22:08):
That's an LA thing.
I'm standing by that.
That's an LA thing.
Honestly, I have a message forthe men because even if we're
labeled as divas from across thepond, I don't know what's going
on.
Live your truth.
You're guilty.

SPEAKER_01 (22:18):
Even that, whoever that was, that was guilty.
You're definitely a diva toowhen it comes down to it.
Anyway, 100% my British men,I'll take a nonchalon over
whatever that is in D.

SPEAKER_04 (22:27):
Ah, okay.
Food.

SPEAKER_01 (22:28):
Okay, foods.

SPEAKER_04 (22:30):
And answer correctly because You know what my issue
is?

SPEAKER_01 (22:32):
I have a very nice O1B visa.

SPEAKER_00 (22:35):
And they watch what you post and they watch what you
do.
So I love America and I loveyour extremely, your extremely
calorific foods and the oilsthat are extremely heavy.
And the the way it like makes myface break out and I go back
like five, like five dress sizesbigger.
I love it.

SPEAKER_05 (22:55):
I love it, America.
That's a point for the US.
We'll take that.
Music.

SPEAKER_01 (23:03):
Oh no, this is hard because obviously everyone I
love is American.
But the UK is coming.
We've you know we've got CentralCentral C Show.
For actual honesty, America.
Like you guys, you guys do haveit all.
Like everything I grew uplistening to, you're here.

SPEAKER_05 (23:23):
Accents.

SPEAKER_01 (23:25):
You know what?
I love a V Americano.
Like I've said it once, I'll sayit twice.

SPEAKER_04 (23:30):
We're up three more.
We're gonna do it, guys.

SPEAKER_01 (23:32):
And I promise that one wasn't for the visa.
That was real.
I do love it.
Like, I think you I do enjoyyour confidence.
You have a lot of confidence.
The guys, regardless if you'vegot like five years.

SPEAKER_04 (23:44):
You complimenting someone's confidence is that's
no small fee.

SPEAKER_01 (23:48):
Because I can intimidate, especially when I'm
like, if I'm covered to Kila'sdown and I see her a wee bit,
you know, if I see diva clock,I'm like, yeah, let's go game
time.
I'm like, game.

SPEAKER_04 (23:57):
I'm working my hardest not to be sassy, not to
be a diva.
Hey, yeah, it is what it is.
But we have a few spellinis onthe last one.
So let's get your celebritycrush.

SPEAKER_01 (24:08):
Oh, you know, every time someone asks me this, I
always say Michael B.
Jordan, but it's a full-blownlie.
No, but it's a lie.

SPEAKER_03 (24:15):
Would you just say that just to be No, but it's a
lie.

SPEAKER_01 (24:18):
It's like it just like rolls off the tongue.

SPEAKER_03 (24:19):
So who's your real celebrity?
No, because you know, see.
You can tell the truth on here.

SPEAKER_01 (24:22):
See if I'm being completely honest, I've
definitely met them.
And I've definitely like.
So say their name.
Um, absolutely would never dothat.
I want free Palomas again.
Do you know what I mean?
They fight you out.
You have to do it.

SPEAKER_04 (24:32):
So were they still your crush after you met them,
or did it change that?

SPEAKER_01 (24:35):
Um That's a really good question.
Yeah.
Yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (24:41):
Is it a bigger crush after you met them?
Can we get a hint?
Singer, actor?

SPEAKER_01 (24:46):
Um my mom would hate me if I said this out loud, but
I'm gonna have to be honest andsay an athlete.

SPEAKER_04 (24:52):
What sport?
What sport, and I'll leave youalone.
Um I'm gonna get it, man.

SPEAKER_01 (24:56):
I'm gonna say um soccer.

unknown (24:58):
Okay.

SPEAKER_04 (24:59):
Okay, that's tough.

SPEAKER_01 (25:00):
I'm not telling anymore.
That's it.

SPEAKER_04 (25:02):
League.
What league?

SPEAKER_01 (25:03):
Nah, you know what?
No, no, no, no.
First of all, first of all, whatleague do I look like I'm
talking to?

SPEAKER_05 (25:09):
You're a you're a prem kind of girl.
Like, honey, Champions League,let's go.
You're a prem kind of girl.
No, that is so crunch.
That is so crunchy.

SPEAKER_00 (25:17):
I'm joking, I'm joking.
No, no.

SPEAKER_05 (25:20):
We'll talk later.
We'll talk later.

SPEAKER_00 (25:22):
No, but yeah.

SPEAKER_03 (25:23):
What do you think is the most overrated trend right
now?

SPEAKER_01 (25:30):
Pablo Escobar.
Like, what like you know thesong?

SPEAKER_04 (25:34):
That's a trend.

SPEAKER_01 (25:35):
It's like the is that a the I don't know, but
it's like the most basic.
Like everyone's walking in astraight line, and it I don't I
love the song.
It's like, is it Jenny and teamand Pala?
Team and Pala and Jenny.
Amazing song.
But the viral TikTok is But isit like a dance people do?
No, it's like two catwalks, andit's very simple and very easy.

(25:55):
But just I've had enough of it.

SPEAKER_04 (25:57):
Yeah, fed up.
I get it.
I'm curious now.

SPEAKER_01 (25:59):
Yeah, you know what?
Watch us do it after this.
We're gonna do it after this?
It's very easy.

SPEAKER_04 (26:03):
Do you know do you know what that is?

SPEAKER_01 (26:04):
You do, you look at that right now.
You're gonna know.

SPEAKER_04 (26:07):
Look at that right now.
Okay, so uh um Phil Foden.

SPEAKER_01 (26:12):
No, okay.
He has like a wife and kids.

SPEAKER_04 (26:15):
Are you still going?

SPEAKER_05 (26:16):
Yeah, I'm gonna get it.
I'm gonna get it.
What's the last thing you criedabout?

SPEAKER_01 (26:20):
Oh um.
I actually cry all the time.
I cry, oh I'm a Scorpio, so I'llnever let anyone know.
And I'll like be really toughand strong and I'll go cry.
By yourself, you're like, andI'll cry, I'll cry out, but then
they say crying is amazingbecause it's releasing all the
emotions.
So it's really important to cry.
And if you don't cry, you'rebottling too much up.

(26:42):
If you don't want to see atherapist, go chat to chat to
pt.
Very helpful.

SPEAKER_04 (26:46):
Do do uh men in the UK go to therapy?

SPEAKER_03 (26:48):
Because I know here is not a big thing.

SPEAKER_01 (26:51):
Not too much.
Not too much, no.
I would love them to.
What was it?

SPEAKER_03 (26:55):
What would you say?
Cry and keep going, wipe yourtears and keep going.

SPEAKER_01 (26:58):
Dry your eyes, honey.
Dry your eyes, dry your eyes on.
But it's very important to cry.
I love crying.
Like you get a cry, let's go.
What was it?
It was probably something aboutjust I'm a big dreamer.
I I have my eyes on the sky, andI'm very ambitious.
And I'm very hard on myself forsure.
So it's probably just me beinghard on myself, and then I wake
up the next day.

SPEAKER_00 (27:22):
First of all, I'm sure he no, no, I'm I need to
answer.

SPEAKER_01 (27:25):
I was gonna say something funny.
No, that's not my type.
Not my type.
No, not my type.

SPEAKER_05 (27:32):
Can you name your type?

SPEAKER_01 (27:33):
No.
You're getting you're too I'mgetting cut hotter or colder.
No, you're you're you're allover the you're all over the
gaff.

SPEAKER_04 (27:42):
All over the gaff.
I think I'm getting hotter andhotter.

SPEAKER_00 (27:47):
Okay, well, you're never gonna know.

SPEAKER_03 (27:49):
What would be the best advice for confidence you
would give to, let's say, someone trying to get in the
industry?
A little girl like yourself?

SPEAKER_01 (27:56):
Nobody knows what they're doing.
Nobody knows.
The the the more ambitious Iget, the bigger rooms I get in
with these more importantpeople, everybody is winging it.
Me and my brother say this wordragged.
Do you say that?
Like it's ragged.
It's just like raggedy, right?
Raggedy.
And we'll get to this like bigevent, this crazy thing, and
it's like, yo, this is ragged.

(28:18):
It's all ragged.
Like it looks amazing on photos, but like there's no reason why
you right now cannot be in thatroom.
Like I'd agree.
I'm being serious.
Like, if you want it, go get it.
Like, I understand everybody, you know, comes from different
levels of support systems, andI'm so lucky to have a family
that's so on me and like go big,go home.
I understand that alone is aprivilege because people don't

(28:40):
have that.
And my mom is that tiger mom,you know?
But you can do it.
Like, it's really I think when Ithink we put these things on a
pedestal, and it's like that'stoo put together, it's too they
know what they're doing, it'stoo successful, it's too, it's
too perfect, or actually, all ofit's so imperfect, you can
absolutely do it, and that uhit's not deeper than that, you

(29:00):
know.
And also, do just do.
Like I have done you GoogleTalia Storm, and you will see
500,000 photos of me and all myerrors.
Now, these errors were notpretty, but I'm still going.

SPEAKER_04 (29:12):
So just go do you always find a way to find a
camera.
That was the first thing Inoticed.
I was like, every I'm tellingyou, I'm like, I have never seen
so many cameras in front of me,and you had everyone.
I just follow you, theygravitate to you.

SPEAKER_01 (29:28):
Nice, guys.

SPEAKER_04 (29:29):
They probably only got the cameras on us right now.

SPEAKER_01 (29:31):
Okay, yeah, yeah.
Well, you know, you just youjust gotta wing it, guys.
Wing it and do it.
Do it, do it, do it.

SPEAKER_04 (29:38):
You're motivated.

SPEAKER_03 (29:39):

lying.

SPEAKER_04 (29:55):

I don't know if they love eachother for real, but well, it's
different in the UK.
The UK is a little different.

SPEAKER_01 (30:01):
Guys, I watched your season.
There was love there.

SPEAKER_04 (30:05):
Where between who the winners broke up a month
after?

SPEAKER_01 (30:08):
I don't care.
If there's three weeks of do youunderstand how exciting that
would be also being somewherewithout your phone, no pressure
of doing anything, no worryingabout the washing machine and
how to work it.
Like you're just there to fallin love.
Like, that's my dream.

SPEAKER_03 (30:23):

SPEAKER_01 (31:11):
I was sitting next to Nick at the Grammys and I had
no idea Nick was Nick.

SPEAKER_04 (31:14):
Honestly, there were so many people that day and that
weekend where I didn't realizeuntil after.

SPEAKER_01 (31:20):
I'm like, damn.
We were with Nick.
We were chilling with Nick.

SPEAKER_04 (31:23):

SPEAKER_04 (31:51):

SPEAKER_04 (31:56):

SPEAKER_01 (31:57):

SPEAKER_01 (32:13):

SPEAKER_01 (32:19):
