SPEAKER_00 (00:06):

Oh, I'm out of breath.
My bad.
I was jamming.
I was jamming right before that.
I missed you.
I missed you.
Come in.
I missed you.
Welcome back to Can I Vibe withy'all with the vibes?
Are you immaculate?
(00:26):
Every time we hop up in here, you probably like, where you

Where are the episodes?
Where's the content?
Where's the conversations?
Where's all the good stuff?
There's so much to unpack here.
There's so much to unpack.
Just know we're here with you.
We're excited.
We missed you.
Went on a little unofficialbreak.
(00:49):
And listen, we would tell youwhen we go on a break.
We're not supposed to just go ona break, not tell you.
We would tell you.
Life was life in.
Let's put it that way.
Life was life and had to go on alittle unofficial break.
But all for the best.
All for the betterment of thispodcast.
All to all to really just, youknow, bring this all together
(01:10):
and you know, have betterconversations with you, make
things better for you.
And you know, just I'm excited.
I'm excited.
Hold on.
I'm sorry.
Like I said, I gotta catch mybreath.
I was jamming out right beforethis.
I had like I get to talk to mypeople again.
Oh! I don't even know what we'regonna figure out what we're
gonna call this vibe tribe, thevibers.
(01:31):
I don't know.
Y'all let me know.
We're gonna figure out a namecoming into this.
I think this is gonna be like anunofficial start to a new
season.
Um, because you know, thingsdon't stop around here.
We just kind of keep it going.
But you know, since we missed afew weeks, maybe even a month,
yeah, it's been more than amonth, but um so be a start to a
(01:53):
new season because we've beenrecording a lot in the meantime,
so definitely got some goodstuff coming for you.
Um, yeah, y'all let me know whatwe're gonna call this.
But oh, welcome back, welcomeback, welcome back, welcome
back, welcome back.
Feels good to be home literallyand figuratively.
Um if it's your first timelistening, it's your boy Kaz,
(02:14):
host of the Can I Vive withY'all podcast.
Um, I'm doing the solo dolotoday.
Started doing that periodically, about a year ago.
Um do it here and there becausesometimes the boys can't always
make it.
Um But we catch a viberegardless whether they are here
or not.
You know, they'll they'll beback in they'll be back in the
(02:36):
studio tomorrow, so don't worry, don't worry.
Um But yeah, kind of justcatching you up on uh things
that have been going on, umupcoming plans, what we got
coming for you, and just havinga little catch-up episode.
So whether you are in the car,on the way to work, at work, in
the house, listening with thekids, without the kids, uh where
(03:02):
wherever you are.
Listen, we're gonna catch a vibeas always.
So um, you know, if you've beenlistening for a while, you know
we keep it authentic on here.
So had to do a lot of travelingthe last almost two months,
really.
Um and I've been bringing the Ikind of have like a mobile
(03:24):
studio, so like I'll record whenI'm on these travels as well.
But been tough to, you know, beas efficient as possible.
Um, you know, being constantlyon the road and whatnot.
But again, I'm gonna get intothat because it's all been for
the podcast, you know.
It hasn't hasn't necessarilybeen like, you know, just you
know, you know, I don't want totalk to these people no more,
(03:46):
man.
Let me just go about my way.
Um, all been for the podcast.
So been in uh had to go toCalifornia a lot, recording some
episodes out there, uh, meetingsome good people, and also
working on things becauselisten, we've been saying this
for a long time, right?
We have been saying this for along time, and I am I am putting
(04:07):
it into action.
We are going to make it happen.
We are working on getting thistour set up because we want to
come meet you, we want to cometalk to you, we want to come
vibe with you because it's onething to you know hear my voice
and you know take it in likethis, but I want to meet y'all
face to face.
(04:27):
I want to catch a vibe with youbecause that is the whole point
of this.
Um, this podcast is not operatewithout you.
And you you guys are all over.
You guys are all over.
Um I can see some of theanalytics, and you know, it
makes it tough sometimes becauseI'm like, I don't know where
they are.
Like, you know, shout out andshout out to you for real.
(04:49):
It's it's a good thing, butthere's a lot of you in in
Australia, there's there's a lotof you in in Africa, there's a
lot of you in in Canada, in theUK.
Um so I'm like, I don't knowwhere to go.
I don't know.
I'm trying to narrow it down.
So um yeah, working on gettingthat set up because you know
it's it's long overdue.
And just I'm just appreciativefor you for real.
(05:12):
I I I love that one with youguys.
So hold on, we we're gonna keepthis raw because we're doing a
little early morning sessionright now.
So I'm gonna sip this coffeereal quick.
And if you don't know me, I amnot a morning person.
I am not a morning person.
I think it's because I wouldn'tnecessarily say I'm a night owl
(05:35):
neither, but I'm very, verycreative, and I spend way too
much time at night just thinkingabout this.
Um so yeah, sometimes I don'talways function the best in the
morning, but I'm like, listen, Iget to talk to my people today.
I get to talk to my people, it'sall good.
Um so yeah, some of some ofthose upcoming plans coming up
(05:59):
for you.
Like I said, we're superexcited.
Um we're actually we actuallyjust dropped a new episode on
YouTube, and we did this a yearago.
If you really vibe with us, umwe tested out a period simulator
to see what women feel on amonthly basis, and we just did a
(06:20):
part two.
Shout out Dr.
Gila, um, down in Miami.
She had us come through and dothat, and just go check it out.
Check it out.
Uh, me and my brother did it,and oh, I can still feel it.
I can still feel it.
So, yeah, go check that out.
(06:41):
It's literally the first episodeon YouTube.
Um if you only really watch youknow our Instagram or TikTok and
watch the clips, you know, we'llthrow clips on there for you as
well.
So yeah, all that good stuff.
But let's get into let's getinto what's been happening past
month or so.
(07:02):
Um and I I I wanna I wanna talkabout this first.
It's nothing crazy, nothingcrazy.
Don't don't don't let me scareyou.
Nothing crazy.
But you know, in between thesetravels, I had some time to
watch some TV.
And I don't always have time towatch TV because I'm always I'm
always freaking working.
But I had some time to watchsome TV.
(07:23):
And oh, I was loving this show.
Love on the spectrum.
And I know I'm a little late toit, I'm a little late to it.
I know it's different seasons.
The last season finished acouple weeks ago, yada yada,
yada.
But oh, I was loving this show.
Shout out to the girl who put meon.
I'm not gonna say no names, butat first, you know, I was like,
(07:45):
I don't want, I don't want towatch that.
But I started watching, I'mwatching on the plane, I get
hooked, I start loving thecharacters.
I'm like, oh, oh, this is myshow now.
This is my show, so now I'mexcited for the next season.
Um I won't give no spoilers ifyou haven't seen it, but you
(08:07):
know, basically it's a showwhere you know they take people
with autism or forms of autism, and they've just never really
had love in their life, they'venever dated, never had a first
kiss, so they're just meeting uhpotential pairs and potential
partners, and it's just the wayit just feels so authentic, and
(08:32):
I love it because like you watchany dating show or reality TV or
whatnot, and you could tell Idon't know, you just you just
you get that feel to it that alot is like you know cut up or
taken out, or you know, there'suh uh image portrayed for the
characters or whatnot.
(08:53):
Um but I love it because thesepeople are just themselves, they
were authentically themselves, and it's just like every
character was so different, andjust seeing seeing how awkward
they operate in in theseconversations, it's just like
but it's it's not even likeyou're making fun of them, it's
just like it's so enjoyable towatch, it's refreshing because
(09:16):
it's like you know listen, weall human.
We all human.
Um, you could have the bestconversational skills, like you,
we've all been there withawkward dates and um you don't
know what to say or you don'tknow how to express yourself.
So it was just a refreshingwatch.
I I've been been binge watchingthat uh past few weeks.
(09:41):
That's my show.
So um, yeah, put me on to anyshows that you think I should
watch or we should talk about.
Um I'm trying to tap into my TVgang more.
Um because I guess I I enjoywatching TV, I just don't have a
lot of time to do it.
So um, you know, this could beour little uh little TV talk,
(10:01):
you know.
Maybe we we can we could talkabout these shows together.
Um another one I've beenwatching is The Boys.
I am super late to that one, um,but I was put on to that as
well.
I saw they just dropped a newseason.
Um that's more like superherovibe show, but also like uh like
(10:25):
a huge spin from your typical, you know, hero plot.
Um, it's like real life humanswith real life whatever going
on.
So yeah, got into that recentlyas well.
If you're a fan of that, let meknow.
Um gonna talk some TV more, somefilm more.
(10:45):
Always music.
Don't get me wrong.
We always gonna talk music onhere.
Um, we have a few music episodescoming up, and as always, as
always, I'm so excited.
I'm so excited because Imentioned at the beginning, the
boy.
Oh, I said that they're gonna behere tomorrow.
I'm sorry, they're not they'renot gonna be here tomorrow,
they're gonna be here in a fewdays, but um I'm letting y'all
in on a secret right now, okay?
(11:07):
I'm gonna let you in on asecret.
I'm not supposed to give thissecret, but I'm gonna give it
anyways.
We are about to record some newsong clips.
And some of you may have noticedif you watch the song clips all
the time.
We probably look the same,whatnot.
That is because we typicallyhave to record them all in a
(11:28):
day.
Uh, because when we do it, it isa it is a process.
It is a process, and wegenuinely do jam out.
It is authentic, it is real, itis not live.
Um I'm sorry, it is live.
Um that is our real self jammingout.
There's nothing we fake aboutthat.
(11:50):
But as far as the setup andeverything, it takes a while.
So we typically have to um wetypically have to do that in
batches, like we'll do it likeevery other month, we'll record
new songs.
Um so if you're hearing this, you get a little about three-day
grace period uh to send yoursong suggestions.
(12:11):
We're gonna take some songsuggestions.
Um if you hear this after thethree-day grace period, I'm
sorry, but it's it's gonna berecorded already.
But we keep it going because welove music.
We love music on here so much.
Um, we enjoy jamming with you.
Um, trust me, if I could jam outwith you right this second, I
would.
I'd throw a song on right nowand jam out with you.
(12:32):
But you know, copyright reason, copyright is real, so we're not
gonna get in trouble on here.
Um, but hold on, okay.
My bad, my bad.
Lost my train of thought for asecond.
Kind of transitioning a littlebit, you know, we were talking
about TV, uh, a little bitrelated.
Um, if you're a sports fan, which I am, also some good
(12:54):
sports going on right now.
You know, we got the NBAplayoffs, NHL, NHL playoffs, all
that good stuff.
But one of my favorites, one ofmy favorite, one of my favorite
events is coming up, one of myfavorite tournaments.
The World Cup is coming up, andlike I just mentioned, we have
people on here listening from somany different places.
So I want to use thisopportunity to know where you're
(13:18):
from, um, what country you're upin.
And I I love the World Cup somuch because it only happens
once every few years, and it isthe most I just feel like it's
the most connected.
Well, you know, we'll sayfootball.
In America, we call it uhsoccer.
(13:40):
But we're the ones, we're theones that are wrong with that.
Uh, football.
It's the most popular sport inthe world, and I just love how
the World Cup just bringseverybody together.
Um, you know, you got the WorldCup music, of course.
We're gonna get into that.
We're gonna get into that, butit is just such an enjoyable
tournament to watch.
(14:01):
Um, I just love seeing thecultures from different
countries displayed on the worldstage because you know, we you
don't really see that.
Um you you don't typically seethat when you're in your you
know respected respected city orcountry.
So when that's all on a worldstage and you have this country
versus that country, and you'reseeing like their culture and
(14:24):
the people on the stands and andeverything, I'm like, oh I love
it.
I love it, I love it.
And the World Cup is hostingsome some of the matches in the
US or well in North America thisyear.
So definitely excited to uh tobring it over here.
Um like I said, I want toconnect with y'all more.
Um I forgot the exact startdate, but yeah.
(14:48):
Yeah, we we we we're gonna we'regonna chat more about that.
We're gonna chat more.
Um but with that, definitely I Iforget if like I I believe on
Spotify you could leave on acomment.
Um I'm working on figuring outhow because I know on our
socials you could, you know, yousee a video, see a clip, you
(15:09):
leave a comment, whatever.
Um but I'm working on how youcan kind of just leave a comment
on here, except besides throughSpotify.
Damn, that was nasty.
My bad.
Whatever, we'll keep it in.
Um, but yeah, let us know whatcountry you're from.
Let us know where's what cityyou're from, if you're in the
(15:32):
US.
Uh, because like I said, we wantto connect with y'all more.
Um even if you wanna send a DMor email.
Um, yeah, preferably DM if youdo that.
Because some people send emailssometimes, and there's like it
will say like two words, sodon't always know how to respond
(15:52):
to that, not gonna lie to you.
But like I said, we we wannayour feedback is very important,
right?
Your feedback is very important, and like I said at the
beginning, working on setting upthis tour, so it's very
important to know where we wouldhave to go because we can't pull
up to a random city and no one'sthere.
So we wanna know where you'refrom.
(16:15):
Um, yeah, we just want to knowwhere you're from, talk to you
more, chat with you more.
Been saying it for a while, butlike I said, past couple months,
we've been working on a lot ofbehind the scenes stuff to to
grow this uh and to make thisbetter.
So this listen, this don't workwithout you, right?
This does not work without you.
(16:37):
I want you to know that.
I can sit here and talk all day.
Y'all can sit here and listen tome all day.
It won't, it don't matter.
It don't work without you.
So I wanna I wanna let y'allknow we're always appreciative
of that.
Always, always, always.
Um hold on a sec.
Um I keep losing my train ofthought.
(17:00):
My bad.
It's the morning.
You know what?
Let's take a little coffeebreak.
I wish I was like, I'm lookingat the this mixer right now.
If I was like on the radio rightnow, I'll play the little
background tunes.
Let's see if we can get a littlebackground tunes.
Wow.
unknown (17:13):
Oh no.
SPEAKER_00 (17:15):
Oh no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no.
Oh, oh.
I pressed the wrong button.
I was trying to take a coffeebreak.
Y'all hear that?
Oh, yeah, that coffee's done,baby.
(17:37):
Let me hit that one more time.
Why not?
The host goes bug.
Um okay, I'm up now.
What's up?
What's up?
Oh right, so yeah, this this isa little bit of a quick one,
just kind of giving y'allwelcome back um little rundown
(17:57):
of what we've been doing, what'scoming up.
Um I know some of the episodeshave been a little bit little
bit shorter too.
We've heard some people um givefeedback.
They would like longer episodes.
So the the a lot of the nextepisodes coming up are much
longer, don't worry.
Um, it's just, you know, I'm bymyself.
I'm gonna be real with you.
(18:18):
Um when I see other podcasts andit's them by themselves talking
to a camera for three hours.
I don't know how they do it.
I'm not gonna lie to you.
I have no clue how they do it.
I I feed off of other people, soum, when I'm by myself, it's a
lot different.
But buts, but recently this girlwho follows um gave me some
(18:46):
feedback, and this is why I saidfeedback's very important.
Either either positive ornegative, because it's if it's
negative feedback, feedback,that means maybe there's a
change we gotta make.
Um but I think it was like backin January, I think it was.
I did a solo episode about likepeople pleasing.
Um, I forgot the exact name ofit, but if you find a people
(19:08):
pleasing episode, it's up there.
And I I told you at thebeginning, I'm getting used to
sitting here talking by myself.
Um, I wouldn't say I'muncomfortable, but it is
different.
It's it's very different.
Like there's no one to look at,no one to, you know, I'm just
kind of just talking to you.
(19:29):
Um but she said that was one ofher favorite episodes.
She said it was just refreshingto hear.
Um, wanted to hear more of that.
And obviously it's subjective.
Like, there'll be some of youthat don't want to, you know,
listen if it's just me the wholetime.
There's be some of you that thatlove it.
But um hearing that, it was verymotivating.
(19:52):
Um, so like I said, the thefeedback is always appreciated.
Um, we're not sensitive dudes.
Listen, me and my brotheroriginally from New York, very
blunt people.
We could we could take we couldtake a lot.
So um even if it's negative, youknow, we're we always want to
keep growing and glowing, baby.
(20:12):
So like I said, anything yousay, it's appreciated.
Um, you know, if you want to benice, that's even better because
it kindness is free.
It's a crazy world we live in.
So you want to leave some nicethings, go for it.
You know, matter of fact, holdon, hold on, hold on, hold on,
hold on, hold on.
I'm gonna say this too.
I'm gonna say this too.
Personally, we could take anytype of feedback.
(20:35):
If you go and leave a review, which you definitely should,
make sure that's a good onebecause we can't have no, we
can't have no uh no crazyreviews on here.
You know, we want to blow thisup, we want to show the world
this beautiful podcast, we wantto put this in a good light.
So if you're gonna leave areview, then then definitely
leave the positive.
If you have anything else tosay, then you know shoot us an
(20:56):
email.
We can chat about it.
No big deal.
But I'm gonna end off with acouple things because using a
moment to reflect.
Today is an anniversary.
Today is an anniversary, andit's a special anniversary
because I'm reflecting on thisand it's still kind of surreal.
(21:17):
But literally a year today, uh Ican't even talk, a year ago
today, um the job I was workingrandomly let me go on the spot,
no notice, no severance package, just let me go, threw me out to
the wolves.
Um, and you know, obviously hadalready been doing this podcast
(21:38):
um in the meantime, anyway.
So that was the goal, anyways, was to you know pursue this full
time, but that happened sounexpected.
Literally came in one day, umclocked in by nine, by nine ten,
I was out of there.
Let me go.
Um, and I'm reflecting on thisbecause a lot of you don't know,
(21:59):
you know, this podcast.
Started in 2020, but you know, people just assume any creative
or podcaster or influencer orwhatever are just you know
that's their full time.
Um so just being transparent, you know, there was a lot of
sacrifices that had to be made.
I have worked so many jobs, Ihave worked so many jobs while
(22:23):
doing this podcast.
Um and you know, let's let we'llgo down the job history because
I've never actually explainedit, but you know, now that I've
been self-employed this pastyear, um, and just you know,
pursuing this, growing with you,I am I'm so grateful.
I'm so grateful for thathappening because you know that
(22:46):
wasn't necessarily in my planbook, but you know, it allowed
room for a lot more growth.
Um, and I I'm telling you, I'mtelling you, it still feels like
just scratching the surface.
It still feels like it becausethis is the the first year that
I've really been able to likepour everything into this.
(23:06):
Um and I am so so so grateful totalk to you for real.
I I will never ever take thatfor granted.
I'm so grateful to talk to you.
Um so yeah, just kind of justyou know chatting with y'all
because I've never said it, butyou know, I know there's a lot
of people out there who are likea lot of people hate their work,
a lot of people hate their jobs,a lot of people hate their
(23:27):
careers.
And if you do, if you do loveit, then beautiful, beautiful,
you know, stick with it.
Definitely very happy for you.
But um, like I said, there werea lot of sacrifices that had to
be made with this.
So, number one, before thepodcast even started, I was a
personal trainer.
Um I was I was very good at it,I enjoyed it.
(23:49):
Um, but COVID happened, forcedpeople to distance from each
other.
I couldn't be hands-on with myclients, I couldn't be near them
at all.
Um and um I actually, yeah, Ididn't even leave that.
That they they had to let me go.
Well, they had to let everybodygo because of COVID.
(24:09):
Um, so little timeline, boom, that happens.
Uh podcast starts maybe likefour months after the world
shuts down.
Completely off a whim, too, completely random.
Uh podcast starts.
But obviously, there's no moneycoming in from the jump.
(24:29):
All right, that's let's be realabout it.
There's no money coming in, kindof just talking on here,
whatever.
So, little Caz is working atFedEx.
I'm working at FedEx, I'mdelivering these packages all
day.
Freaking hated it.
Hated it.
Oh my goodness, that was somehard labor right there.
(24:53):
Um, but podcast has started.
I'm growing a love forpodcasting, and you know, I'm
trying to figure things out, figure things out because
obviously bills still got to getpaid.
So working at FedEx, um, workthere for a year, boom, right
after FedEx, I get with thiscompany, start doing some
(25:16):
marketing.
So I start learning, I'm I don'thave a marketing background.
So I start learning somemarketing.
The work I'm doing for thecompany is also helping uh grow
the podcast.
So managing the socials, puttingout more clips every day, yada
yada yada, the whole nine.
Um so podcast is growing.
I go from, and mind you, I'vehad like five jobs before the
(25:38):
podcast even started.
I you ask anybody I know, I haveI have worked everywhere.
So go from FedEx to marketing, then I get into finance.
Now I'm working a finance job.
Um, no clue what I'm doing, justkind of land it, but no clue
(25:58):
what I'm doing.
Um, I can't say I liked itbecause I'm growing a passion
for this creative field, and nowI'm doing this corporate finance
BS, which don't get me wrong, ifyou're working, it's very
important, very, very important.
Great job.
Um, but it just wasn't for me.
So meanwhile, the podcast isgrowing, growing, growing
(26:22):
online, and I'm at these jobswhere like no one even knows I'm
at working these nine to fivegigs and just trying to figure
it out.
From the finance job, so we hadwe had FedEx marketing finance.
Then I go work for a cruiseline.
I'm not gonna say which one, butI go work for a cruise line
(26:44):
completely left field.
I'm doing that, not reallyliking it.
And I I'm realizing a pattern.
What do I really love to do?
I love doing this podcast, Ilove connecting with y'all.
I love uh, even though it'sonline, especially since COVID,
a lot grew online since COVID,so there's more connections
(27:06):
online to where I'm loving thatmore than you know, whatever.
So from the cruise line, this iswhere things got interesting.
After the no, no, no, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
There was a little stint inbetween that.
After the cruise line, this iswhere things got crazy.
(27:28):
The podcast is growing.
I'm like, you know what?
I'm gonna take a chance.
I'm gonna go full time on thepodcast.
I think this was like 2022either 2022 or 2023.
I'm like, I'm gonna go full allin on the podcast.
I take a chance, quit the cruiseline, go all in.
Have a got about a good month ortwo, and then I'm like, ooh,
(27:52):
okay, maybe this isn't where Ineed it to be yet.
So now I'm forced to go back towork.
I have to pick up the quickestjob I can find.
I go work at Total Wine, okay?
I'm delivering alcohol, tryingto make ends meet, grow this
podcast.
So I'm working at Total Wine.
Um, I was like, you know what?
Let me just do this real quick.
(28:13):
I'll find something else.
I'm like, I'll do this for likea month.
End up being there.
I'm not gonna say how long.
End up being there longer than Iwanted to.
Um, you know what, I'll say howlong.
I was there for eight months.
I was there for eight months, and that was the that was the
most probably difficult part ofthis whole podcast journey
(28:37):
because at this point I I had myI had a degree.
I was also working on mymaster's degree at the same
time.
I'm super qualified, and I'mdelivering alcohol, but
everything happens for a reason,right?
(28:58):
So while I'm there, I'm like, Idid not want to be there at all.
And I'm delivering this alcoholwith occasional, like, you know,
hours I had to work in thestore, and I'm starting to learn
a lot about different wines.
So, as you know, we drink a lotof wine on here, um, you know,
and they give like a 30%discount off of wine.
(29:21):
So every week I'll buy a fewwines, start learning them,
start tasting them, and ithonestly, you know, I it helped
with the podcast because I startlearning, you know, good wines
to drink, um, good wine to haveon here, whatnot.
We start incorporating wine onthe podcast.
(29:42):
Boom, next thing you know, awine sponsorship comes in.
So everything happens for areason.
Um so after after Total Wine, which I was trying to get out of
there for the longest time, um,a friend, a friend asked me, um,
(30:03):
because of the following thepodcast had at the time, um, a
friend asked me if I know anyonewho wanted to get into teaching.
And I was like, you know, I'llsee if I know any teachers or
any any educators, anyone whowants to get into that.
I'm still not exactly where Iwant to be yet.
(30:23):
So I'm like, I I ask her, like, you know, is this something I
could possibly do?
Oh my god.
So I get hired to become ateacher with no teacher
experience a week before schoolis starting.
Now that teachers, educators outthere, so so much respect for
(30:48):
what you do.
That was that was a difficult, that was very difficult.
Um I'm very grateful to have thekids I had.
I was teaching fifth gradeEnglish.
Um and I'm I'm very grateful forthat experience.
Um, I really did um love makinga difference with the kids.
(31:10):
You know, you have your yourhard-headed kids here and there,
but for the ones who like reallycared, it was a very um uh
what's the word?
It was just a very justenlightening experience.
It was it felt good to knowyou're making a difference.
Um, but that was some hard work.
(31:31):
That was some hard work.
Um man, I'll never forget that.
Especially because whileteaching, um, I was working on a
master's degree, and now thepodcast was uh growing
exponentially.
So that made it very hardbecause it was growing, but I
(31:52):
still didn't feel comfortableenough to just up and quit
working because, like I justtold you before, when I did that
with the cruise job and it putme in the hole.
So I was like, you know what, let me stick this out, um,
collect a few checks while I'mhere, still make whatever the
podcast is making, and you know, keep going.
So um ended up having to leavethat because I was just I was so
(32:17):
drained.
I was so drained.
Um just imagine I taught twodifferent classes, about 25 kids
each.
So just imagine hearing 50screaming kids all day long.
Um, I'm overstimulated.
I get home, I don't have theenergy to even work on the on
(32:37):
the podcast, and it kind of tooka hit at that time because my
job life was affecting mypersonal life.
Um, and on top of that, uh thewhole freaking school saw me on
TikTok.
So that was very uncomfortable.
Teachers, principals, students,uh parents, the whole school.
So I was like, yeah, I this Ilove I love the kids.
(33:01):
I love the kids, but I had to Ihad to go.
Um so fast forward after that,um, there were like there were a
few random gigs I did inbetween.
Those were like one-month gigshere and there, but end up um
back at this marketing job, um,and I'm there, and I just have
(33:25):
no I have no, I feel like I hadno purpose, no structure.
I don't really know why I'mhere.
I was learning a lot um to helpwith this, but um I was just
like, damn, this is just aweird, weird point of my life.
And fast forward, like I said, today is the year anniversary.
I was there, um, didn'tnecessarily want to be there,
(33:48):
um, but I knew I had previouslytaken a chance on the podcast,
um, going all in on it, and thatkind of backfired.
And not in a bad way, it wasjust like, you know, I gotta be
realistic too, you know, westill got bills to pay.
Um, so I'm there and I'm like,I'm trying to figure out how to,
you know, not have to do thisevery day.
(34:09):
Um, and then boom, one day Icome in, uh, and they're like,
we're letting you go.
Um, and it just kind of threw meout there, forced me to just
grow.
Um, but I'm so, so, so gratefulfor it because it's giving me
the free time back to, you know, grow this, um, connect with you
(34:32):
more, work on all these thingsthat we haven't done in past
years.
And like I said, this was kindof just the welcome back episode
because I'm super excited forwhat's to come.
Um, you know, don't always givethe uh don't always give the
behind the scenes of it, but youknow, this is this is a a real
authentic podcast.
(34:53):
So um just having theopportunity to to do this with
you and now being a year in itto where you know I I've I've
I've always been in it, youknow, even since it started,
I've always been in it.
Um it was just a lot moredifficult to manage when you're
out of workplace for nine tofive, and then you know, we all
know the code, you know, you gotnine to five and the five to
(35:14):
nine.
So every day after work, whatever job I'm working, I'm
coming home working on this.
My my I was defeated.
My days are super long.
That's why, you know, like Isaid at the beginning, I didn't
really have time to watch TV oror anything like that.
So um, which don't get me wrong, even though I'm doing this now,
now I probably work even longer.
(35:34):
So any business owner, entrepreneur out there, they
know like you know, once youstop working a normal job, you
you work even more.
Um, but the work now is sosatisfying.
Again, because of all of you,um, I really do enjoy talking to
you.
Um, I'm excited to see wherethis goes.
(35:54):
Especially now is like, youknow, just being a year into it
to where I've been able to pourmore into it.
Um oh man.
Oh man, that's why I said I Iknow there's there's so much
growth that's gonna come.
Um so yeah, happy anniversary tomyself, I guess.
Um but you know, I just want tosay that because I know there's
(36:18):
other people out there.
Um they're they're probably theymight be lost or trying to
figure out their purpose ortrying to figure out their
passions.
Um, you know, I definitelyencourage you to keep going
because it no matter what age,um, you know, we all we we all
want to feel like we have areason to be here, a purpose, or
(36:40):
whatever it is.
Um I'll say it again, honestly, you guys are my reason.
You make this a lot easier.
There's been um so much positivefeedback that um I'm not gonna
lie, sometimes I go down littlerabbit holes, and you know, I I
I don't I try not to do thislike all the time because I
(37:01):
don't want to I don't want tosit there like just scrolling,
scrolling, scrolling all day.
But here and now I'll um I'll gothrough comments sometimes, uh
primarily like TikTok and IG.
And um man, there's just somepositive stuff out there.
There's been people who've justbeen at like a low, very low
(37:23):
point.
And they'll say something like, you know, this podcast has, you
know, it's been the reason theyget out of bed, it's been it's
been the reason they keep going,it's been the reason they keep
pushing or whatever it is.
And it's just it is so somotivating for me because even
speaking to you now, I might notbe speaking directly to you face
(37:44):
to face, but when I read stufflike that, I'm like, damn.
I like I I might have had thehardest day at work, and now I
gotta come here and edit orresearch or respond or or
prepare things or whatever, andI'm drained, and then I see
something like that, and I'mlike, this is the reason I do
(38:06):
this.
So again, very, very, verygrateful.
Um can't wait to meet all of youfor real.
Like I said, we're working ondoing more events, doing more
touring, uh, doing things likethat.
And I'm excited.
I'm excited.
I'm excited.
(38:27):
For real, for real.
Um, yeah, I appreciate y'all.
Uh apologies again for thelittle delay, but like I said,
we're always working on somegood stuff for you.
Um, yeah, go check us out.
Whether you listen, if youlisten on Spotify, Apple,
Google, Pandora, whatever, whatever you listen on.
If you listen, cool.
(38:47):
If you watch, go check out theYouTube.
Um, getting that back goingagain.
Because I know um, you know, wegotta do some uploading on that.
The video is a little moreextensive work than this.
But you know, it's all good.
Um, yeah, go check out theYouTube.
If you only watch the clips, that's cool too.
Uh, you know, whether we jamout, whatever we do.
Um, thank you, thank you, thankyou again.
(39:09):
I felt like this was like alittle welcome back.
Um, not gonna lie to you, stillstill crazy just sitting here
talking solo.
But it's all good.
I got I got y'all with me.
Um yeah, appreciate you.
Have a great week, great month, great year, great all that
(39:29):
stuff.
Much love.
