and you had a friend, a mutualfriend, uh, I guess put you on.

SPEAKER_00 (02:43):
Um, so today, like I
said, you're an actor.
It's an actor or actress.
SPEAKER_03 (02:47):
I was actors because
usually I changed it.
SPEAKER_04 (02:50):
I saw you change it.
SPEAKER_00 (02:51):
I was like, I'll try
to, I didn't know if it's like a
feminine or no.
SPEAKER_04 (02:54):
I mean, you some
people say, like, I'm an
actress, this, but overall, like, we're all like actors.
Okay.
So we'll say we'll say actor.
I'm an actor.
SPEAKER_00 (03:01):
We'll say actor.
SPEAKER_04 (03:02):
I'm an actor.
SPEAKER_00 (03:03):
So we're doing some
improv games today.
Um, you might make me test outmy acting skills as well.
And this pressure, because Ialready know you I I've seen it
already off camera.
I already know you you can getinto character.
Oh, yes.
Oh, I know.
I know.
Um, we're doing some improvgames.
All right.
Um, like we just mentioned,we're gonna talk about some
motherhood.
A lot of a lot of moms wholisten and follow.
(03:25):
So shout out to y'all.
Um, and then we're gonna we'regonna talk, we're gonna have
some Latin vibes going, youknow.
We might we might do a littlesauce on here.
We might we might shake a littleheads on here, do a little
da-da-da.
Cause we we got uh a Latino andLatina in the building.
SPEAKER_03 (03:39):
That's right.
SPEAKER_00 (03:40):
So we gotta wrap it.
We're gonna start with this gamethough.
Okay.
I'm a little nervous.
Me too.
I'm a little nervous.
I'm a little nervous.
Alright, so we got an icebreakergame here.
Let's call it emotional rollercoaster.
Okay.
So, how it works, we're gonnaact out a scene.
We're gonna have differentscenes, and we have to attach an
(04:01):
emotion to that scene.
So, sad, angry, frustrated, excited, flirty, whatever it is.
Um, and then we got differentscene scenarios.
Um, like for example, one ofthem is taking an order at a
drive-thru.
So just having every differentemotion.
So let's go.
(04:21):
What pick a number one througheight.
SPEAKER_03 (04:27):
Seven.
SPEAKER_00 (04:28):
Seven.
Ooh.
Uh-oh.
All right, let's see how we'regonna do this.
SPEAKER_03 (04:32):
So you don't have to
pick seven if you're another.
SPEAKER_00 (04:34):
You pick seven.
And this is yours.
This one was yours.
SPEAKER_03 (04:38):
Oh no.
SPEAKER_00 (04:38):
What did I so the
scenario?
SPEAKER_03 (04:41):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (04:42):
Boyfriend meets
boyfriend meets intense Latina
mother-in-law for the firsttime.
So I'm guessing I'm theboyfriend.
And you're the mother-in-law.
SPEAKER_06 (04:51):
I think so.
SPEAKER_00 (04:52):
Okay, so hmm.
So you could start.
Are we both acting in this way?
SPEAKER_04 (04:58):
Yeah, so the thing
that's gonna be tricky though is
there's nowhere, there's no oneto see to change the feeling of
what it's gonna be.
SPEAKER_00 (05:04):
Let's just start
with one to see how it goes.
Let's just start with But welike both can't be mad.
Let's start with you.
SPEAKER_04 (05:09):
Oh, that's a good
idea.
So, how about we start?
You give me an a feeling to bepick one.
Yeah, that's a good idea.
And then we'll go from there.
SPEAKER_00 (05:19):
Pick a number one
through nine.
SPEAKER_04 (05:20):
Ay, ay, ay, three.
SPEAKER_00 (05:22):
Three sad.
SPEAKER_04 (05:24):
Oh, I know what I'm
gonna do.
SPEAKER_00 (05:26):
So, boyfriend meets
intense Latina mother for the
first time, and you are sad.

my name or or you don't like
cats?

You never know what's gonnacome.
SPEAKER_00 (07:37):
It's all good.
Should we keep that one and do adifferent emotion or should we
do a different scene?
SPEAKER_04 (07:42):
Let's do you have a
strong emotion in your scenario,
and I'm playing off you.
Is that okay?
SPEAKER_00 (07:49):
Okay.
Pick a number one through eight.
SPEAKER_04 (07:51):
You pick a number,
oh no, you already know what
they are.
SPEAKER_00 (07:53):
Actually, I don't I
don't know the order.
So I'll I like three.
My favorite number's three.
SPEAKER_04 (07:57):

SPEAKER_00 (08:08):
No, I don't go
three.
Three is sad.
SPEAKER_04 (08:10):

intention with your son.

Um, you know, we just reallyfeel that and think, you know,
we really think that you arejust uh a good team player, and
this is just you know thecompany and the group as a
whole.
And uh, you know, sometimes youtake one for the team, and you
know, we do have we do haveplans for you though.
I will say we have plans foryou.
SPEAKER_00 (16:41):
Take one for the
team.
Because uh I I pulled up somerecords.
Okay.
I've been pulling up records forthe past three-ish years.
Oh, okay.
And um, long story short, Ifound out some money laundering
is going on here.
Oh, well, and uh soundsridiculous.
Uh yeah, it sounds like it,right?
But I can pull up fives for you.
I could actually pull it upright now.
SPEAKER_04 (17:03):
Okay.
I mean, I don't think that'snecessary.
SPEAKER_00 (17:05):
I think it is
actually.
Okay.
So you've been saying I'm a teamplayer for the past seven years.
Mm-hmm.
And uh saying you got all thesefuture plans for me.
But like I said, I'm 14 yearsin.
You've been money laundering forthe past three, maybe even
longer.
So I'm just trying to figure outwhat's going on here.
Uh figure out where thepayment's really going because
(17:27):
uh quite frankly, I'm not theonly one in this position.
Well, uh I yeah.
Sandra and Henry always said thesaid the same thing.
They've been here about the sametime.
SPEAKER_04 (17:41):
I don't know where
you're getting your information
from.
But I don't think it's true.
I really don't.
I mean, we do everything in ourpower to make sure you guys are
taken care of.
And yes, there have been somesetbacks in the last few years,
but I d I I want you to knowthat you are deeply appreciated
(18:02):
in this company.
And honestly, it is a company oflaundromats.
So maybe that's where there'ssome confusion.
Because laundering money soundslike laundromats, and we own a
bunch of laundromats, and maybethat is just where it's coming
from.
SPEAKER_00 (18:21):
So maybe you need to
check your records say here, it
is not laundromats.
Uh, you're running illegalcasinos, and you have been for a
while.
And I appreciate your effortinto making us feel like we're
taken care of, but a monthlypizza party is not gonna cut in.
It's good pizza.
F that pizza.
If you cannot if you want me toblow it up right now, I can blow
it up right now.
SPEAKER_04 (18:40):
Well, do you want to
show you?
SPEAKER_00 (18:41):
I was trying to be
nonchalant, I was trying to be
take a cool with you, uh-huh.
But I have all the records onfile.
Okay.
And more.
SPEAKER_04 (18:47):
Okay, so are you
threatening?
SPEAKER_00 (18:48):
I'm threatening you.
SPEAKER_04 (18:49):
Oh, really?
Yes.
SPEAKER_00 (18:50):
Okay, you and Henry
and Because this company can go
to shit as soon as I I put thisout there.
unknown (18:56):
You know what?
SPEAKER_04 (18:56):
I don't even know.
SPEAKER_00 (18:57):
I want a 25% raise.
SPEAKER_04 (18:58):
25% raise.
25% raise.
We do not.
This is long overdue.
SPEAKER_00 (19:02):
You have, oh, trust
me, you have 25%.
I have the records.
I see the financials.
I see it all.
I've been deep digging for awhile.
I've been patient.
I've been trying to make thishappen.
SPEAKER_04 (19:11):
I think.
You want to see it?
I think you're confused.
It's not my fault.
SPEAKER_00 (19:24):
I don't care whose
fault it is.
Well, it's like you can figureit out.
Mr.
Samson can figure it out.
Alright.
SPEAKER_04 (19:35):
What?
The news today?
Okay, look, look, look, look, look, look, look.
Okay.
Look, I'm sorry.
Alright.
I there has just been so muchgoing on at home.
Alright.
My cat just died.
Like go with the cat.
SPEAKER_00 (19:57):
I don't want to hear
about Mr.
Fluffles.
SPEAKER_02 (20:01):
It's a different
scenario, but I couldn't help
myself.
SPEAKER_00 (20:05):
I had to stop you
there.
SPEAKER_04 (20:06):
Oh my god, it's so
funny.
SPEAKER_00 (20:07):
Hey, we were about
to get into it.
SPEAKER_04 (20:09):
Yeah, we were.
That was good though.
That was.
You were getting pissed off.
You changed your your thefeeling that you were having.
So see.
SPEAKER_00 (20:16):
Because suspicion
never stays suspicious.
Then it always leads tosomething.
SPEAKER_04 (20:20):
Yeah, it always
leads to mmm angry.
SPEAKER_00 (20:22):
I'm gonna start with
the suspicion.
100%.
I know what's up here.
SPEAKER_04 (20:25):
Yeah, exactly.
You like you know the truth.
I know the truth.
You were good too.
SPEAKER_00 (20:28):
I like it.
SPEAKER_04 (20:29):
Well, thank you so
much.
SPEAKER_00 (20:30):
Okay.
You know what?
We'll we'll close that for asec.
But I got I got a follow-upquestion for you.
Yeah.
What's your favorite type ofacting to do?
SPEAKER_04 (20:37):
Comedy.
SPEAKER_00 (20:37):
Comedy.
SPEAKER_04 (20:38):
Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (20:38):
Oh, we should have
done some comedy.
SPEAKER_04 (20:40):
That we just did.
Improv.
SPEAKER_00 (20:41):
I mean like some
some comedy.
Like I don't have something offthe top of my head, but we'll
we'll come back to it.
SPEAKER_03 (20:46):
We'll come back to
it.
SPEAKER_00 (20:47):
There's another
game.
But we're gonna we're gonna talkabout acting a little bit.
SPEAKER_03 (20:52):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (20:52):
Before we get into
that game.
Take a little breather.
Have our little actors workshopon Can I Barbara True.
SPEAKER_04 (20:58):
Oh no, this is
awesome.
SPEAKER_00 (20:59):
Of course.
Of course.
You're killing it right now.
SPEAKER_04 (21:01):
Oh, it's so fun
here.
We're vibing.
SPEAKER_00 (21:04):
We are.
But let's transition a littlebit.
Let's let the people know aboutyou.
Um, how you started, how youfell in love with acting.
Like, can you explain that alittle bit?
SPEAKER_04 (21:14):
Oh, thank you so
much.
Yeah, I uh so I was raised inFlorida.
That's what's really cool.
Like we're both from, you know, like South Florida.
South Florida.
From the East Coast, East Coast,West Coast.
Just kidding.
Maybe not.
But it's definitely West Coast,West Coast.
I won't even deny it.
You love it.
It's a little nice over here.
It is nice over here.
(21:35):
It is nice over here.
Um, but I love the vibes of ofMiami and New York and East
Coast.
But yeah, I mean, so growing up,you know, immigrant parents,
Latinos, and um just like alwaysfelt like I kind of didn't know
where I fit in and stuff.
So when I started watching, youknow, I grew up in the 90s, so
it was like Friends andSeinfeld.
It's when like the Victoria'sSecret shows were like super
(21:58):
popular, you know, like when Andthe you know, Tyra Banks and
Heidi Klum and all of them whenthey were coming out.
So I just like really was like,oh my gosh, like it was another
world for me.
And so I got into theater at ayoung age.
I went, you know, to Parkwaymiddle school for the performing
arts at is that in SouthFlorida?
That's in South Florida.
SPEAKER_03 (22:17):
That's near the swap
shop.
SPEAKER_00 (22:18):
Oh wow.
You were in the trenches.
SPEAKER_03 (22:22):
They took me in
there.
SPEAKER_04 (22:23):
I I took the bus at
like five in the morning.
I almost went to Dillard High.
SPEAKER_00 (22:28):
Oh wow.
I know.
You're in the trenches.
SPEAKER_04 (22:29):
I was in the
trenches.
I decided not to go because uhthey having metal detectors in
the front of you know.
SPEAKER_00 (22:37):
Exactly where that
is.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (22:39):
It's kind of fun to
talk to you about it because you
know it's like when I tellpeople about it, like they're
like, they don't get it.
But you know, when you whenyou're talking to someone, you
know, that's from Florida orwhatever, it's like, oh yeah,
you were by the swap shop, like,oh shit.
SPEAKER_00 (22:51):
But it I actually
went to the swap shop last week.
SPEAKER_04 (22:54):
Oh, that's so funny.
SPEAKER_00 (22:56):
Subs a tit,
actually.
Nice.
I keep a tit on me.
So yeah, swap shop.
If you're ever in South Florida, best place to get it, good
price.
They'll get you right.
But that's right, that's right.
SPEAKER_04 (23:07):
And I remember I'd
have my just uh the little
thing, but I that's where I gotlike my subwoofers and my
amplifier because I had likethat 95 Mustang and I was like,
you know, like that base.
But um no, so I I got intotheater with school, and then
like by the time I was 17, I wasalready like, I'm gonna like get
out of here, I'm gonna go toEurope, I'm gonna be a model.
(23:28):
I started modeling primarily,but yeah.
Did you go to Europe?
Oh yeah.
At 17 I got a modeling contractand I was in Milan Europe
modeling, and then I would dosummers in New York, and then by
19, I I was I moved to New Yorkand then I was modeling and
acting out there.
Okay, and then moved to the WestCoast.
So yeah, it's it I just love it.
I love to tell, you know, youhear this a lot from actors.
(23:50):
I love to tell story, but morethan anything, I just love to be
around other artists, like doingwhat we're doing right now.
Yeah, it's just a vibe.
It's fun, it's super fun.
SPEAKER_00 (23:58):
Like I said, what we
just did, I felt like it was
almost like a little bit ofactors' workshop.
Yeah.
I used to take improv classes umright before COVID, a little bit
into COVID.
SPEAKER_04 (24:09):
Oh, nice.
SPEAKER_00 (24:09):
Um, actually, like
right before starting the
podcast.
That wasn't the reason for this, but I used to do a little acting
myself.
SPEAKER_04 (24:15):
Isn't it fun?
SPEAKER_00 (24:16):
It is fun.
It was never serious, but I'mlike, oh, was that it is kind of
fun?
Hold on.
It is fun.
SPEAKER_04 (24:20):
It's supposed to be
fun.
That's the thing, is then westart taking it too seriously,
and then it's not fun and it's adrag, and it's like, ugh, but
it's you gotta listen, lay back, chill, have fun with it.
Just have fun.
That's how you know if you'redoing it right, is if you're
having fun and you're chill andyou know exactly.
SPEAKER_00 (24:36):
So, what's something
that's misunderstood about
actors?
SPEAKER_01 (24:38):
Oh gosh.
SPEAKER_04 (24:40):
Just like when so
many people are like, You're
killing it, and it's like such ahustle.
I mean, it's such a hustle.
The amount of rejection thatcomes with it, and that is yeah,
and it's not even rejectionreally, because it's not like
someone saying, like, you'rehorrible.
It's just you know, or you'renot getting it because of this.
(25:00):
It's just it's so competitive.
It's like it's like um like prosports, the same thing.
Yeah, it's very similar, likethe 0.1% are gonna like make it
to the NFL or da-da-da, or youknow, it it's you know what's
funny?
SPEAKER_00 (25:14):
I use that analogy a
lot.
Um well with acting podcasting,uh, because I grew up playing
sports, so I knew from a youngage how hard it is to make it,
and that's every young athlete'sdream is to make it to any
league, your respected league.
And every league we all knowit's a 0.1% chance to make it.
Yep.
(25:34):
And I look at that even withpodcasting now.
Um, there's a lot of podcasts, but you know, to like really,
really make it, yeah, um, it'svery hard.
Same way acting.
Um, so I kind of have thatathlete mentality when it comes
to that.
SPEAKER_04 (25:46):
Yeah, and that's
what I love about it.
SPEAKER_00 (25:48):
I'm like, oh, we're
gonna make it.
SPEAKER_04 (25:50):
Absolutely, never
give up.
Like, and that's the thing, andlike just bringing your
authenticity to it.
SPEAKER_00 (25:54):
Exactly.
And that's the beautiful thingabout being creative because
like with athletics, you hit acertain age, you you can't make
it.
SPEAKER_04 (26:02):
Yes, that's true.
SPEAKER_00 (26:03):
Like they're yeah,
it gets a little harder when
you're older, but there's notnecessarily a cutoff for it,
like you know, there's50-year-old actors, 60-year-old
actors.
SPEAKER_04 (26:13):
Absolutely, and it
just keeps changing, everything
keeps changing and expanding,and it's just it's it's great
because there's so many voicesthat are needed.
And so, like, even what we'retalking about right now, it's so
cool.
But it is, it's it's anathlete's mentality if you're in
entertainment.
Yes, it really is.
SPEAKER_00 (26:28):
Exactly.
Do you have that background orare you always been
entertainment?
SPEAKER_04 (26:31):
Uh always
entertainment, you know.
I I'm like athletic, but my poorhusband loves sports and I don't
know jack shit about sports.
I have a sweater that says ghostsports.
Uh I really do.
His family, they're so athletic, and I have a sweater and hat
that they gave me that says gosports because I legit I legit
have been saying that beforethey were making sweaters and
(26:51):
hats.
I'm that person.
SPEAKER_00 (26:53):
There's been so many
uh women who like are not really
into sports, but they they like,oh yes, go sports.
And it's like, especially whenit's related to something of
like pop culture, yes, or likesomething that women like.
SPEAKER_04 (27:05):
Yeah, it's it's
hilarious.
I mean, mine is like it's as ajoke.
Like, I'll never forget when Iwas like meeting, you know, his
family because they're they allwent to UCLA and athletes and
whatnot, and you know, they wereall talking about you know
sports.
You know, they're they're like, well, they have a scrimmage, and
I was like, What's that?
And they were like, You'rekidding us, right?
(27:26):
Like, you're kidding me.
And I was like, What?
And they're like, It's apractice before the actual game.
I'm like, oh, so like a dressrehearsal.
And they were like, Oh my god,but it is that's pretty much
what it is.
SPEAKER_03 (27:36):
I gotta just do it
also because I know that it
makes them even more like, oh mygosh.
But it is, but there are a lotof parallels.
SPEAKER_04 (27:43):
There are athletics
and being an industry.
SPEAKER_00 (27:46):
It is um, I feel
like it's two of the hardest
industries to get in.
True.
But I mean, I'm I'm grateful forit.
I love it.
Um, I love having a creativemindset and being able to even
meeting you today, like beingable to just do something
completely different.
Um, you know, we're bouncingideas off each other.
Like, I'm all for it.
I like it.
SPEAKER_03 (28:06):
I know, it's really
cool.
I know it is really cool.
SPEAKER_00 (28:08):
You you are very
bubbly too.
SPEAKER_03 (28:10):
Oh, I'm so happy
because this is it.
SPEAKER_04 (28:12):
Like, this is what
it's about.
Like, this is collaborating withother artists.
Like, this is my favorite partof it.
Like, I I love being on setbecause I like being around all
the people.
I love acting, but really it'sthis.
SPEAKER_02 (28:26):
Like being with
other artists.
Like, that's like for real.
SPEAKER_00 (28:29):
Oh, we're we're
artists now?
We're artists.
We are artists.
SPEAKER_02 (28:31):
Entertainment,
artists, creatives, creators.
I mean, all of it.
SPEAKER_07 (28:35):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (28:35):
I like it.
What what's like the day in thelife of an actor?
Obviously, every day isdifferent, but just like a
general day in the life.
SPEAKER_04 (28:41):
Well, it's a little
different for me now because I
have kids, so it really is splitup a lot.
But the day in the life of anactor in their 20s is gonna be a
lot different than a day in anactor of a woman like myself
that's you know married withkids.
SPEAKER_00 (28:55):
So let's hear your
day in the life in your 20s
versus we won't drop the ageyet.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No worries.
SPEAKER_04 (29:01):
Yeah, um, no, thank
you.
This is actually great because II like lived that life for so
long, and there was a lot ofdowntime.
I remember my parents wouldalways be like, gosh, you're so
lucky.
I'm like, I'm in betweenauditions when I was in Miami,
I'm at the beach, um journaling, you know, listening to music,
woke up late, you know, it justdepends.
(29:21):
And then, you know, and thenlike go to auditions like half
like from the beach or whatnot.
Uh but it it there was a lot ofdowntime.
In your 20s.
In my twenties.
I mean, and then of course, likeworking out and all that.
But I feel like for today, forcreatives and you know, artists,
like there's so much opportunitylike this, like that you can
(29:43):
create your own stuff thatpeople are working harder where
they're like producing their ownstuff, they're making, they're
writing their own stuff.
I didn't do any of that.
I just I was more like I justshowed up to the auditions, I
was just like straight acting, modeling, that was it.
Like I didn't really branch outuntil I took a break a little
bit before I was doing I wasmaking some of my own stuff, but
(30:04):
now it's just like So how is itnow?
Ay, Dios mío, ay Dios mío, tedigo casi, Dios mío, hablame en
español.
Estoy cansada, I'm tired.
I mean, I like you know what?
I'm I'm up at 5 a.m.
(30:25):
The kids are like, I want myshake.
It's just they're five andseven, they want they take this
little protein shake.
It's it's all about them.
Like, you know, they're at thisage where it really is so
important and developmentally, which is what also I'm very
grateful for.
So it's all about like gettingthem ready and you know,
spending that time with them, and then saying the same thing
over and over and over again, and they don't listen, you know,
(30:47):
which I'm to go brush yourteeth, brush your teeth, brush
your teeth, brush your teeth, brush your teeth, brush your
teeth, brush your brush, dropthem off, and then I'm like, I'm
free, bitches! And then, becauseI've just been back in the
industry like two years now, because I took a really long
break having them, my beautiful, amazing husband, like all that,
like living that life, but likeI like am to the hustle like
(31:10):
when I drop them off, and it's areally great like connecting
with you.
I ha I do a lot of stuff throughsocial because a lot of my
networking through social media, because um I live, you know, a
few hours away from LA.
SPEAKER_00 (31:22):
And I'm I'm sure
most of your opportunities are
in LA.
SPEAKER_04 (31:24):
Oh, yeah, that
drives.
SPEAKER_00 (31:27):
I've been around
that area.
Yeah, it's very nice, but forwhat we do, it's not much going
on.
SPEAKER_04 (31:32):
Absolutely, yeah.
No, everything is down here.
I miss a lot, you know, sothere's there's that.
But um putting auditions ontape, you know, so there is
that.
I was just a really quick littlestory.
My daughter was like, Mom, areyou gonna keep acting?
And I was like, Oh, yeah, honey,I'm I'm really enjoying it.
(31:52):
Is it why is it?
Do you wish mommy was home andbe here more?
And she's like, No, I I I justwant you to stop recording in
the guest bedroom so I can havemy own room now.
I was like, That's my daughter.
She's all like, no, I'm fine.
Just can I have the room?
But um, yeah, so then likeagain, just working and all that
stuff, and then by three, fouro'clock, you know.
SPEAKER_00 (32:11):
Is it a lot of like
I guess in the room you have
your own like studio set up?
Is it a lot of like justrecording yourself?
SPEAKER_04 (32:18):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (32:18):
Running lines or
yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_04 (32:20):
And then there's
like great websites that you
know you could and have like areader, you know, so someone
that helps you read.
So it's like a setup kind oflike this, and then it's so many
cameras for doing a self-tape,but that's how everything's done
now, which in for me is ablessing because um then I can
live where I live and be able toaudition still.
This is true.
(32:41):
Mm-hmm.
And then go to baseballpractice, you know.
SPEAKER_00 (32:44):
Oh yeah, oh yeah,
you're deep in it.
Oh yeah.
Deep in it.
Yeah.
So what we'll we'll transitioninto the motherhood side of it.
Like, how has you said your kidsare five and six?
Five and seven.
Five and seven.
So how's that been different?
Like, because we have a lot ofmothers who listen.
Um, and you know, it it it it'sinevitable, it's gonna change
(33:06):
you.
Um so what has that that changebeen like for you?
SPEAKER_04 (33:09):
It was really hard.
I feel like I was blindsided tobe honest.
Hi moms, I love you guys somuch.
SPEAKER_00 (33:15):
Did you plan for
kids?
SPEAKER_04 (33:16):
Yes, I was very
excited.
I actually left the business.
I was uh I was you know doingreally well in the business.
I in like around 2014, 2015.
And I was by that time I waslike um, you know, almost 15
years in the business.
And then I was getting burnt outjust from all the hustle for so
long.
And I was close to getting a bigbreak.
That's when I had shot ballers,I was with you know, The Rock
(33:38):
and Shot That and like I wasauditioning for like all this
when streaming, all the showswere doing like really great,
and so I was going out a ton,but it's still it was like for
every 100 auditions you'd get abooking, and that's that I was
like really getting intoeverything, all the rooms we we
that's how we say it.
But then I met my wonderfulhusband, and I was like, I've
always wanted a family, likethis is what I've been wanting,
(34:00):
so you know he's couldn't passthat up.
I couldn't, he's the best thing,he really is, and so he's you
know, from from uh, you know,Santa Barbara area, and like
told me about the Central Coast, and I was done, and I was like,
Let's do it.
I'm ready to leave this.
SPEAKER_00 (34:15):
I feel like that's
uh such a nice place to like
it's amazing, chill out, start afamily.
SPEAKER_04 (34:20):
It is the best to
raise a family, is that's why
I'm getting used to the Calilife.
Is I you really like it outhere?
SPEAKER_00 (34:26):
This is yeah, I've
been in the Bay Area a lot now.
Yeah, um I've been in LA.
This is my fifth time in LA.
Um, I've only been in theCentral Valley twice, and then
I've been to San Diego once.
I'm going to San Diego at theend of this week.
Okay.
So I'm San Diego's awesome.
And then above the bay, there'snot much.
Yeah.
Besides like nature.
SPEAKER_04 (34:44):
But absolutely,
absolutely, yeah.
Yeah.
So so I left and I was like, I'mgonna be a mom now and a
preschool teacher, and it'sgonna be amazing.
And it was not.
I went to like community collegebecause I hadn't I had never
been to college.
I was like, I'm gonna becommunity college to be a
preschool teacher.
And they I was doing myobservational hours and they're
like, Teacher Angie, teacherAngie.
(35:05):
I was like, Teacher Angie needsa minute.
I like could not, it was not forme.
I just pictured, I guess it waslike Is that preschool?
Yeah, I know.
Four, three, two.
It was a lot, and so same thinghappened with motherhood.
It I just wasn't ready, likeemotionally, mentally.
SPEAKER_00 (35:23):
I don't think you're
ever ready for it.
Yeah, it's just it happens andyou adapt.
SPEAKER_04 (35:27):
Yeah, and so that's
what it is.
And I think a lot of moms can,you know, relate where it's like
we have like major identity, youknow, like the the dying of
self.
And then who am I this personnow that I am a mother?
And I feel you know, I had bothof my kiddos, and then about two
and a half years ago, I never Ithought I was so done with the
business.
(35:47):
I really did.
I because I had done it for solong and I got so close to
making it big.
And then I like was like, I'mout of here, and I thought I I
was just gonna be fulfilled, butyou know, I think as women and
mothers, we're not this or that,we're this and that.
And I am a mother and an artist, like you know, creative or
(36:10):
whatever.
It's like not even about thelabel, but that's I was like, oh
my gosh, I can't believe I wantto do this again.
So I started reaching out topeople and just listening to
podcasts, and this amazingdirector, Rachel Ramist, got me
in touch with my now manager, and it just kind of all aligned
and just follow the breadcrumbs.
Yeah.
There you go.
SPEAKER_07 (36:27):
Yeah, beautiful.
SPEAKER_00 (36:28):
Hey We back, we
back, we back, we back, we back,
we back.
You know what time it is?
You know what time it is?
SPEAKER_04 (36:40):
What time is it?
SPEAKER_00 (36:41):
It's confession
time.
It's confession time.
unknown (36:44):
Oh no.
SPEAKER_00 (36:46):
So welcome to the
new game, improv game confession
booth.
Today we're using somestorytelling for your
entertainment.
SPEAKER_03 (36:53):
Yes.
SPEAKER_00 (36:53):
So what we're gonna
do, we're gonna pull random
confessions and act them outlike they're real.
So let's say you start, you givea confession, and then the other
person has to ask questions, andyou have to expand on this
story, this fake story.
SPEAKER_04 (37:07):
Oh, it's so good.
SPEAKER_00 (37:08):
So, you know what?
Let's let's have you start.
SPEAKER_04 (37:11):
You know I'm gonna
tell you you're a friend of
mine, and I'm gonna tell youwhat I did.
SPEAKER_00 (37:14):
What's going on?
What happened?
SPEAKER_04 (37:15):
Dude, I messed up so
bad.
What happened?
Well, I like I thought Crystalknew that Jake was gonna
propose.
And I freaking blew it up.
Like she didn't know he wasgonna propose, and she found out
before.
SPEAKER_00 (37:29):
From you?
SPEAKER_04 (37:30):
Yes.
SPEAKER_00 (37:31):
How'd how'd you tell
her?
SPEAKER_04 (37:32):
I was like, girl,
you know it's today's the day.
And she was like, What are youtalking about?
I know.
And I thought that she was in onit because she had been so
excited, and she's like, I knowsomething special's coming, and
uh and and you know, I even wentwith her to go get a dress, and
I didn't want to bring it upbecause I didn't want to be like
Captain Obvious, but I got soconfused.
SPEAKER_00 (37:55):
So I'm do you think
he's still going to, or I mean
he did.
And she already knew.
SPEAKER_04 (38:01):
Yes, it's bad.
SPEAKER_00 (38:03):
How did she react to
you?
SPEAKER_04 (38:04):
She's pissed.
That's a special moment.
I know, I messed it up.
I mean, she's not as pissed ashe is.
Oh, yeah, he's probably livid.
He's super livid.
He's like, What is wrong withyou?
And and he's like, you know, you're always like that.
You know, tu tu siempre estáshaciendo eso, tu eres una
chimosa.
And I'm like, I'm not chismosa.
And then he's like, Yes, youare, like super gossipy, cheese
mosa, chismosa.
(38:25):
And I was like, you know what?
Like, don't hate on the cheeseman.
SPEAKER_00 (38:28):
You were excited.
SPEAKER_04 (38:28):
I was super excited.
SPEAKER_00 (38:30):
You were happy for
her.
SPEAKER_04 (38:31):
I was super happy
for her, and I was like trying
to like help her on, trying tobe like part of the vibe, right?
Like, that's what we do.
We vibe, we're like superexcited, and I was like, Yeah,
let's dance.
And then, yeah, it just was likeshe knew it made it kind of
awkward.
SPEAKER_00 (38:43):
Well, luckily for
you, it already happened.
Yeah, you can't change it, so Ifeel like we just gotta embrace
it.
SPEAKER_04 (38:49):
We do have to
embrace it, but like imagine the
wedding now.
He's gonna be like, he saidshe's mossan.
SPEAKER_00 (38:53):
I mean, listen,
he'll have a couple drinks,
he'll be he'll forget about it.
SPEAKER_04 (38:56):
That's true.
Can you make sure he gets to thebar early?
Like, make sure you just I gothim.
Got him.
Don't worry.
Oh my goodness, thank you.
Man, don't mess this up.
How dare you?
Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_00 (39:07):
Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_04 (39:08):
All right, pick a
number for you.
All right, I'm gonna pick anumber for you.
Let's do three.
SPEAKER_00 (39:13):
Three?
I messed up.
SPEAKER_04 (39:14):
You messed up.
SPEAKER_00 (39:15):
I messed up real
bad.
I um I lied on my resume becauseyou know I've been looking for a
job recently.
And uh tomorrow I have toperform a brain surgery.
SPEAKER_04 (39:24):
You have to what?
SPEAKER_00 (39:24):
I have to perform a
brain surgery.
SPEAKER_04 (39:26):
Yes, what in the
hell were you thinking?
SPEAKER_00 (39:29):
I I didn't think I
would get this deep into it.
Well, I just I was looking for ajob.
SPEAKER_04 (39:34):
I wouldn't even for
a job.
I mean, like, what did you puton there?
SPEAKER_00 (39:38):
I said I had eight
years experience in trauma
surgery.
SPEAKER_04 (39:42):
Oh my gosh.
Just because you sell medicaldevices does not mean that you
can perform a brain surgery.
SPEAKER_00 (39:48):
Listen, I mean, I
I'm I'm I feel like I can still
do it.
I understand.
SPEAKER_04 (39:52):
You are you serious
right now?
SPEAKER_00 (39:54):
I understand the
business behind it.
SPEAKER_04 (39:56):
The business.
This ain't no business.
This is the surgery.
SPEAKER_00 (39:59):
I listen, I I care
about the person.
I really do.
I read their file, I'm preparedfor it.
I'm I'm in it now.
I can't reverse.
I'm already in it.
SPEAKER_04 (40:08):
So it sounds to me
like you took the doctor's
appointment with this person,this.
SPEAKER_00 (40:14):
Well, okay.
They were a little short onstaff right now.
I didn't want to fully commit atfirst, but they they were like,
listen, we could really use you.
And I it listen, there's a a$200,000 bonus at the end of it.
I'm like, you know what, I Ibelieve I could do this.
SPEAKER_04 (40:29):
Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00 (40:30):
I believe I could do
this.
SPEAKER_04 (40:31):
I you know what?
You know what?
F it.
SPEAKER_00 (40:34):
It was either that
or they send them three states
over for the next next best.
SPEAKER_04 (40:39):
And I'm and you're
the best best, right?
I feel like it could jump startmy career.
It could this, oh boy.
SPEAKER_00 (40:46):
I, you know, I've
been trying to get into medical.
I didn't know it happened thisway, but we're here now.
SPEAKER_04 (40:51):
So Oh my gosh, I'm
gonna pray for you, man.
I I don't know, I don't know.
I don't know how you getyourself into these things so
much.
I mean Oh man.
Remember that time that you saidyou were gonna be a kindergarten
teacher?
And I was like, what are youtalking about?
And I did.
You did, you did.
And I did a great job.
You actually they did love you.
SPEAKER_00 (41:09):
I was there for
three years.
SPEAKER_04 (41:10):
Yeah, you were.
They really, the kids did loveyou.
But still, man, you can't keepdoing this to yourself.
I mean, brain surgery, this isserious stuff.
SPEAKER_00 (41:16):
This is definitely
someone's life.
SPEAKER_04 (41:18):
Yeah, I would say.
SPEAKER_00 (41:19):
I think I can do it.
I believe I could do it.
You know what?
Um Are you all for it?
SPEAKER_04 (41:22):
Yeah, you know what?
Forget it.
Yeah, why not?
I'm here for it.
I'm here for it.
I'm here for it.
SPEAKER_07 (41:27):
You're already here
first.
SPEAKER_04 (41:28):
I already heard
first.
I'm doing a brain surgerytomorrow.
SPEAKER_03 (41:31):
I can't believe I
gotta do it, but I'm doing it.
You have to do this.
SPEAKER_00 (41:35):
It's funny you said
that.
I actually was a teacher.
SPEAKER_03 (41:37):
You were?
I could so see that.
I taught fifth grade.
Oh, that's so sweet.
I could see that.
SPEAKER_00 (41:42):
And that was I
didn't that wasn't a lie on the
resume thing, but that wasdefinitely like, how did I get
here?
Really?
It was completely I got hired aweek before school started.
Oh my god.
And I didn't even apply.
unknown (41:52):
Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00 (41:54):
So I've if people
really know me, I've done some
random jobs.
SPEAKER_04 (41:59):
That is awesome, but
that's part of it, hey.
SPEAKER_00 (42:01):
But yeah, brain
surgery is wild.
SPEAKER_04 (42:03):
Brain surgery, that
would be hilarious.
Yeah, you know.
I'm not doing that.
No, either am I.
Either am I.
SPEAKER_00 (42:08):
You gotta pick a
number.
SPEAKER_04 (42:09):
Oh boy.
All right, let's pick a number.
SPEAKER_00 (42:12):
Three and three and
five.
So you got one, two, and four.
SPEAKER_04 (42:17):
Okay, let's do uh
four.
SPEAKER_00 (42:19):
Hola, mija.
SPEAKER_04 (42:20):

(43:21):
god, like I can't believe thisis happening, but like it's a
huge ring.
And you know what?
SPEAKER_00 (43:25):
A huge ring?
SPEAKER_04 (43:26):
Yeah, mira, that's
nice, huh?
SPEAKER_00 (43:27):
He's working down at
the day.
But I don't know.
SPEAKER_04 (43:29):
So, like, okay,
maybe we have a plan.
Like, what if like you scarehim?
And then that's how but I wantto keep the ring, so we have to
figure out how to do that.
SPEAKER_00 (43:38):
So you want to keep
the ring, but you don't want to
get married.
Who did I raise?
You can't do this.
You can't do this.
Listen, I can get you a ring.
SPEAKER_03 (43:53):
I can get you a
ring.
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (43:55):
You can't I don't
even know him.
I've never met him.
You can't get married.
I guess not.
SPEAKER_04 (44:01):
I just thought that
like it was gonna be like
perfect, you know?
SPEAKER_00 (44:05):
He bought that at
the pawn shop.
That's nothing.
He bought that at the swap shop?
That's nothing.
Yeah, swap shop.
SPEAKER_06 (44:12):
But at the swap
shop.
SPEAKER_00 (44:13):
I don't know how I'm
gonna explain this one.
SPEAKER_01 (44:19):
Oh my gosh, he's so
nervous.
You guys, you should see hisface right now.
What happened?
SPEAKER_00 (44:24):
You've known me for
a while now.
Yeah.
And I've done some questionablethings in the past.
Yeah.
I've messed up pretty bad.
Yes, we know this.
Um I don't know how I got intothis situation.
SPEAKER_05 (44:35):
Man, what happened?
SPEAKER_00 (44:36):
I I'm I'm cooked
right now.
I'm super cooked.
SPEAKER_04 (44:40):
What does that even
mean?
SPEAKER_00 (44:41):
I'm I've I I really
messed up.
SPEAKER_04 (44:44):
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (44:45):
Well, it just came
to my attention that I've been
dating two best friends for thepast three years.
SPEAKER_07 (44:54):
What?
SPEAKER_00 (44:54):
Uh uh.
I thought maybe they just kneweach other, but they're best
friends.
SPEAKER_04 (45:01):
Dude, what in the
world?
SPEAKER_00 (45:03):
And yeah, I'm in a
long-term relationship with both
of them right now.
Oh my god, they know yet.
SPEAKER_04 (45:10):
Oh, they know.
They know.
If they're best friends, theyknow.
They're they're messing withyou.
Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_00 (45:18):
They I don't know
what to do.
SPEAKER_04 (45:20):
Um I I would go hide
home.
I love both of them.
I would go hide.
I think that they are coming foryou.
SPEAKER_00 (45:26):
But I love both of
them.
SPEAKER_04 (45:27):
Yeah.
I'm sure they love you too.
But if they're best friends, unless they're already fighting
and not talking to each other, the other option is they're
planning how they're gonna killyou.
SPEAKER_00 (45:38):
I mean, I've had a
really good relationship with
both.
SPEAKER_04 (45:41):
Well, uh, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (45:42):
We we're we're, you
know, both are going very well.
They know how I am.
I've I just, you know, I datemultiple people at a time, so
it's not a good thing.
Yeah, yeah, the poly thing, whatever it's called.
Yeah, yeah.
But it's just like But I don'tknow about the best friend.
Like I didn't know they werebest friends.
That's something I'd never done.
SPEAKER_04 (45:56):
The sister wives
thing.
Gosh, it's so weird.
I'm I'm I'm I mean, do yourealize what you're getting
into?
SPEAKER_00 (46:01):
I'm already in it.
I'm deep in it.
SPEAKER_04 (46:03):
You are deep in it.
Okay, so then this is thesituation.
So you're if it's the polything, right?
So like they're fine with it.
SPEAKER_00 (46:08):
Then Well, usually
I'm fine with it, but not best
friends.
SPEAKER_04 (46:12):
Uh, usually you're
fine, but not best friends.
I don't know if you can put thatclause in there like that.
SPEAKER_00 (46:15):
It's I mean it's
like, you know, we for the sake
of the relationships, we gottahave a one random, just for the
you know.
unknown (46:24):
Aye, aye, aye.
SPEAKER_04 (46:26):
Well, I mean, what
is what is your solution here?
What are the things?
SPEAKER_00 (46:30):
I don't think they
know because they're not really
poly, only on poly.
SPEAKER_04 (46:33):
Oh my gosh.
Well, sweetheart.
SPEAKER_00 (46:35):
Yeah, I think
they're they're both in love
with me, and I'm in love withboth of them, but they're both
in love with me, and I mighthave to choose one.
SPEAKER_04 (46:46):
You might have you
might have to choose one.
SPEAKER_00 (46:49):
Yeah, I might have
to choose one.
But I love them both.
SPEAKER_04 (46:53):
And you're but you
love them both.
SPEAKER_00 (46:55):
Or maybe I can
transition them into being poly.
SPEAKER_04 (46:58):
I mean, I think
that's your best bet right now.
SPEAKER_00 (47:00):
You think I should
do that?
SPEAKER_04 (47:01):
Yeah, definitely,
100%.
Yeah, high five on that one.
SPEAKER_00 (47:04):
That's why you're my
best friend.
SPEAKER_04 (47:05):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (47:08):
Let me say this
straight.
I'm not a poly.
I'm not a poly.
We were improving for that.
Oh my god.
No, no, no, you gotta be able todo that.
SPEAKER_04 (47:18):
This is part of the
acting.
We wanted to make you laugh.
That you're making you laugh.
SPEAKER_00 (47:23):
So, yeah, basically,
we were talking about before
about the supermom contest.
Yes.
I don't know all the detailsabout that, so I want you to
just explain what it is, whatit's for, how people can help
all the above.
SPEAKER_04 (47:36):
Absolutely,
absolutely.
So, all right, so there's thisawesome contest going on right
now.
It's called the Super Momcontest, and it's run by
Colossal.
And Colossal Group helpsnonprofit organizations um like
the one that they're helping, this one, which is Children's
Miracle Network, uh, raisefunds.
So the years prior, they've, youknow, raised like$2.5 million.
(47:59):
And the way it works is thatthere's a super mom.
So one supermom out of likethousands of people that are
gonna enter this contest thatwe're in right now, we're in the
middle of it, right?
As this is airing.
And they with votes, you know,it narrows down.
And, you know, as it narrowsdown, you can buy votes.
(48:20):
Now you buy them only on there,on the profile, right?
Because it's the super momwinner.
Um, and I'm, you know, I'm acontestant in it, will get
twenty thousand dollars, um, afamily trip, and gets to be
featured in New Beauty magazine.
So it's really been beautiful tosee all of you know the
different people that are doingthis contest because it's all
(48:42):
women that like, you know, theyhave a voice and and what they
want to say.
Some people have experiencedreally horrible things or
sickness, and then they can usethe money to like help their
lives.
For me, it's more about um whatit's like being a mother, trying
to have a new career, being backinto my career, balancing life,
and how you know, a lot isexpected from us.
(49:02):
So everybody has their own storywith it, but as the contest is
getting more like smaller, itand there's probably around this
time when this is airing, youknow, there's gonna be like the
finalists and semifinalists.
SPEAKER_00 (49:16):
Um how many
contestants are there total like
to start?
SPEAKER_04 (49:19):
Oh, I think there's
like over 50,000.
SPEAKER_00 (49:22):
Wow.
SPEAKER_04 (49:23):
Yeah.
Wow.
Because we're all in groups,right?
And I could be mistaken, butthis is like from what I've seen
with research, there's likeabout 4,000 groups of like 50
people, 30, 50 to 60.
SPEAKER_00 (49:34):
So it's a winner per
group, or they just like it
starts with like a bracket?
SPEAKER_04 (49:38):
Yeah, so it starts
with that.
So like, you know, it startsweekly that they start narrowing
down the groups, and thenthere's one the for number one
winner of each group, thenthere's like the semifinalists,
and then there's thequarterfinals, and then there's
the semifinalists, and thenthere's the finalists.
So it's till um end of June.
SPEAKER_00 (49:56):
When did it start?
SPEAKER_04 (49:57):
So it started um
April 13th.
Okay.
So not too long ago from whenwe're filming.
But um for all the mothers thatare doing the contest, um, I'm
thinking about you, and youknow, you that you get a one
free vote a day, and then inMay, like around this time and
end of May, then it starts toget like a little bit more
(50:19):
competitive, but then you canalso like buy the votes and all
of that money goes to theChildren's Miracle Network,
which is really beautiful.
SPEAKER_00 (50:28):
We love to support a
cause.
SPEAKER_04 (50:30):
We do love to
support a cause and support
empowering women.
And so I was like, you knowwhat?
I'm gonna do it.
I'm gonna do it.
And you know, I wasn't expectingthat I was gonna be able to see
you and do this podcast.
So I'm like, fine.
SPEAKER_00 (50:40):
This is completely
spawned.
This is a week ago, we didn'tknow we were doing this.
SPEAKER_04 (50:44):
100%, you know, and
that's like what's so cool.
And again, it kind of goes backto you know being an artist and
being, you know, inentertainment, like you just
don't know what's gonna happen,but that's like what's so
exciting about like kind of likethe athlete of being an
entertainer.
You just you know, but then likethese cool moments happen, and
then yeah, it all kind ofaligns.
So anyway, the contest is goingon now.
(51:06):
If I'm put my profile, super momprofile, it's on my social.
SPEAKER_00 (51:11):
Put a little link in
there.
Yeah, there's a little link downthere right there.
Put the little hyperlink rightthere.
SPEAKER_04 (51:16):
Yeah, you can go and
vote.
You get one free vote a day, andthen feel free if you want to
enter for a good cause.
Then we can up my numbers theretoo.
And um, really representing momsand representing moms that need
help um as well is superimportant to me because it's a
lot of work.
SPEAKER_00 (51:32):
Beautiful.
I love it.
Thank you for the the plug-in.
No thank you.
Definitely gonna go check thatout.
SPEAKER_04 (51:36):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (51:37):
Um, and then you I'm
making sure I said this right,
the Reiki?
Reiki.
So you told me you do it's Reikimeditation.
SPEAKER_04 (51:43):
Yeah, so I do Reiki
and meditation.
SPEAKER_00 (51:45):
So Reiki is like
I've actually never heard of it
until you mentioned it.
You haven't?
I haven't.
So I wanna I wanna learn rightnow.
SPEAKER_04 (51:50):
Oh, I'm very excited
to tell you about it.
So Reiki, when you break up theword Reiki, Rei means like
spiritual or universal, and Kimeans life force energy.
So it's spiritual life forceenergy.
So a lot of people, if you'veheard about, you know, Reiki and
whatnot, you've probably heardabout hands-on healing where
it's like, you know, this thisenergy is coming, healing energy
(52:12):
is coming from the sky andthrough the palm of your hands
and healing you.
But the reality is this is aJapanese practice, it started,
you know, in the 1920s, waybefore, but was you know, the
founder was Usui Mikao in the1920s.
And he um, you know, uh reallythe belief in the thing was like
(52:33):
if if you live a life with likeno anger, no worry, if you're in
gratitude, you're true to yourway and your being, and have
compassion for others, like thisis what Reiki is.
It's your inner luminosity.
That is how does how does theactual process work?
So the actual process is reallyconnecting and rediscovering
(52:55):
like our true nature by likebreath work and meditations.
Like there's like meditationsand chanting, there's like
hands-on healing, there'sdifferent things in the system
of Reiki that help you to be inthat place, and that's why a lot
of it does take like you know, like focus of like sitting down
and meditating and beingmindful.
So two inches below the navel isyour hara.
(53:18):
So your hard two inches belowthe navel, yeah, like right
here.
And that is the Japanese believethat's like your your key, your
life force energy is there.
So when you breathe in, you doex like meditation exercises,
like Josh and Kokyoho, you know, you breathe in and you expand
the belly into where the harais, and then as you exhale,
(53:43):
we're doing it right now.
Yeah, we're doing it right now.
Then you expand and you youpicture all of that white light,
inner luminosity expanding.
SPEAKER_00 (53:52):
So is this is like
you know, there's different
types of healing and meditation.
Yeah.
Are you speaking to people?
Like when you teach it, youspeak to people, because you
know there's like yeah, there'ssound, yeah, there's sound
healing hundred percent.
So this is you talking.
SPEAKER_04 (54:06):
Yeah, so I might do
a guided meditation.
That's a way that I do it.
Um, because I I actually anotherthing that I do is at the den,
the den meditation is a greatvirtual website that has like
all virtual like healing andmeditation and tarot and all
this stuff.
And I do a weekly meditationReiki circle there.
(54:26):
So with that, it'll be a Zoomcall and I'll like guide people
through meditation and throughReiki.
And um, so yeah, that's a way todo it.
Another way to do it is thatlike, you know, you do hands-on
healing, which is where I'mfocusing on that Reiki energy,
that inner luminosity andbringing healing to you through
(54:48):
yeah, interconnectedness.
It's really beautiful.
SPEAKER_00 (54:51):
So, can we do like a
quick practice right now?
Yeah, of course.
Like like 30 seconds left.
Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_04 (54:56):
So let's, yeah,
yeah, let me show you.
Okay, so lead the class.
Lead the class.
Okay, this is good.
And this is really good.
This is because this is verygrounding.
So you want to have wheneveryou're doing any of these kind
of actual senses.
Yeah, you want to sit up, youwant to have your feet on the
floor because it's a focusedpractice, you know.
It's like if we're like this,we're not focused.
You know, it's like breathe in,breathe out.
It's like, no, no, no, no, no,no.
Like the way that the Japaneseare very strict, they're like,
(55:18):
boom.
So you're gonna stand up withnice or sit down with a nice
elongated spine.
All right, for everybody that'swatching or listening, just take
this moment too, okay?
Because this is within us everysingle moment of the day.
All right, so let's just takeone deep breath in.
Just exhale.
(55:55):
And then as you inhale, you'rejust gonna go breathe in and
like imagine all your thoughtsand everything are going two
inches below the belly.
And then that belly isexhibiting as you inhale.
And as you exhale, you releasethat energy, and it's a white
(56:16):
vibrant light.
(56:50):
You got me smiling.
SPEAKER_03 (56:51):
Yeah, you see,
that's our true nature.
SPEAKER_04 (56:55):
Yeah, it's good,
right?
And it's always there.
We just it's our mind.
It's all of the thoughts thatgets us all.
Oh, you know.
It's nice, right?
SPEAKER_00 (57:04):
Oh, hold on.
SPEAKER_04 (57:05):
Yes, yeah.
You're like, wait a minute.
SPEAKER_00 (57:08):
All right, we'll
have to have you back and do
like a whole breath work andthat would be awesome.
Because I feel like listening tothat, because I had my eyes
closed, right?
Yeah, usually I'm used totalking on the podcast.
I had my eyes closed, eyesclosed listening to you.
And it was just like a moment oflike, ooh.
SPEAKER_04 (57:23):
The spaciousness.
Yes, that's what that's thething.
We want to fill everything allthe time, but that spaciousness
is so important, you know, likespace, like whether it's like
with God, with source, with theuniverse, because when we have
that space, then that's wherethe good stuff can come in,
right?
When we're like, you know, allthe time with thoughts, with
(57:45):
news, with insta, whatever'sgoing on, with socials, like
then there's no we're confused.
We're like just packed, packedin too much.
So it really does help me,especially with motherhood, with
everything.
Like, try to stay groundedbecause it can be like
overwhelming, you know.
SPEAKER_00 (57:59):
I know what you
mean.
Honestly, I'm gonna use some ofthat today.
Yes.
SPEAKER_04 (58:04):
Yeah, you just kind
of like reset.
It only takes a minute.
You don't have to, and my myReiki um master teacher says,
like, you're better off doinglike two minutes of like focused
breath like that than doing 30minutes and you're like on your
phone or you're just kind oflike whatever.
SPEAKER_00 (58:23):
You know, you're
better stuck doing that.
SPEAKER_04 (58:25):
Yeah, like what we
did right now, even if you
joined us for that, like that'smore powerful and and is more
beneficial than just like youknow, doing a bunch of different
things at the same time.
SPEAKER_00 (58:36):
Yeah, definitely,
yeah.
Well, we're gonna jam out in asecond.
SPEAKER_03 (58:39):
Oh, I'm so excited.
I asked for this, yes.
SPEAKER_00 (58:43):
You did ask for
this, but we love to do this
anyway.
SPEAKER_03 (58:45):
Yes, yes, yes.
This is true.
SPEAKER_00 (58:46):
This is true, this
is true.

So we'll we can't put the musicon on the audio and YouTube and
all that, I'll tell you that.
But we're gonna jam out in a secbecause ooh, we were jamming out
when you walked in.
Yes, we're jamming out beforecamera.
Oh, I think we jammed out alittle bit at the beginning, and
we're about to jam out again.
