This week we cracked open Grape Voodoo — a live hash rosin from Moxie that smells like someone melted a grape Laffy Taffy inside a lemon grove. It’s candy, citrus, and a little hoppy funk all rolled into one hit. The kind of strain that makes your nose high before your brain catches up.

Right out of the jar it hits you with that nostalgic grape sweetness — think Laffy Taffy meets Jolly Rancher — backed by a bright citrus note and a soft earthy finish. The smoke’s smooth, and the high comes on with a cerebral buzz that feels like focus with a soft edge. No jitters, no crash, just an alert calm that keeps you in the moment.

If Super Lemon Haze is your loud friend who convinces you karaoke’s a good idea, Grape Voodoo is the one next to them keeping your energy up and your anxiety down. It’s upbeat without the chaos, creative without the scatter. Perfect for workouts, editing sessions, deep talks, or decompressing after Utah traffic.

The effects hit mostly in the head — light pressure behind the eyes, that halo-around-your-skull feeling — and slowly ease into the body. It’s a “let’s get stuff done but also vibe” kind of high. The only catch? Cottonmouth. Keep a cold apple or sugar-free Jolly Rancher nearby.

Now for the nerd stuff. This batch of Moxie’s Grape Voodoo Live Hash Rosin tested at around 63 percent total THC, with THCa hitting 70.6 percent. Total CBG came in near 4 percent, with trace CBD at 0.14 percent. Dominant terpenes include limonene (15 mg/g), beta-caryophyllene (13 mg/g), humulene (4.5 mg/g), myrcene (3.6 mg/g), and beta-pinene (1.7 mg/g).

It’s solventless, ice-water-washed, and pressed into a golden, creamy badder that looks as good as it tastes. You get full terp flavor with no chemical residue, just pure plant energy.

Grape Voodoo’s that sweet spot strain — candy on the nose, clarity in the head, calm in the body. Whether you’re chasing flow, focus, or just a smooth uplift, this one’s a friendly spell worth casting.

(00:00):
Welcome to Cannabis School. I'm your host, Jesse Angeles.
And I'm Brandon Elder. And we're here to talk to you
about everything pertaining to cannabis from vape, flour,
edibles. Strains.
And everything in between the. Fans for beans.
Huge fans. Great devices.
Yeah, I've got the bomb, Cycloud.
And I've got the bomb Magloud. And as you can tell, it's got

(00:21):
this little fidget spinner. We've talked about it many
times. And mine's got the flick of the
bean. Yep, look at that.
So see, I like to set it and forget it.
And Brandon, he's a dedicated user.
Yeah, my fingers on. Got his joystick?
Yep. So today we're going to be
smoking on. Ooh, some grape voodoo live
cannabis hash rosin from Moxie. Yeah, One of the great things

(00:45):
about this strain is that, and it's very candy.
It is. I'm going to open up my bowl
because I got to. I haven't, I haven't fired it
up, man. It's got this like it's great.
It's got the terps in there. It's got very terpy, almost
hoppy, but it's got this grape candy smell.

(01:05):
Not like bad, but just. No, just good.
Like like almost like. Not grape cough medicine, no.
Like grape candies? Like Jolly Ranch?
No, no, no, not like Jolly Rancher.
What are they called? Laffy Taffy.
That's what I think of. When I smelled that, I thought
of Laffy. Taffy, Yeah.
Yeah, I could see that. Laffy taffy.
Oh dude, I don't even eat candy anymore but I freaking love

(01:27):
that. Well, I'm lying.
I I still eat every once in a while.
That's my struggle and then I'm like bro you've already had like
5 pieces put it down, stop eating.
More No, it's it's so good. I again guys, go down comments
below. You're going to see a code,
Yeah, Pick one of these up. CSP, honestly, this one is 20 or

(01:48):
$40 cheaper than that one. This one's under 200.
That one with our code is just at 200, I think, but they're
amazing pieces. So what's your temp this
morning? What are you starting at, 4?
58. OK, I started at 4:25.
I like it 'cause I get the good clouds.
Psychological, I guess. Yeah, yeah.

(02:08):
But it's like yesterday I went up to Dragonfly, picked up some
new flour 'cause they had a couple new strains in.
I love how that fills up all. That grapey graped me right in
the mouth. Wow.
The lightest kid you know, man. You got to love that little 1
though. Man that is like the most
satisfying when that thing is sofull.

(02:32):
See, even at 4:25 I still get good clouds.
Great clouds. But I get all of the best terps.
That's what I you know the you're talking about that well.
What are the terps in this? So I'm actually, wow, I'm going
to have to pull it up because they're top one top terpene.

(02:52):
It goes right across where I cutit.
So let me see the and I tore like so you can't actually read
the very top one. It is 100% gone.
CBC. Grape of Voodoo.
So lemonine is the top one, but then there's some.
Of the top visible. The top visible one is lemony.
Give me. Just a second.
I've got it here. Now let's.

(03:13):
See, it's like 15 micrograms. Oh, here we go.
Yeah. Milligrams, yeah, it's on the.
Purple. The purple shows it too, so it
is Lemonine's the highest one. Then Beta Carefulline.
Doesn't have humiline and humiline and I'm pining mircine.
Interesting, so that one has a different breakdown than this
one, and this one's also Moxie'slive cannabis hash rosin.

(03:34):
I wonder if it was just different testing patches then.
It might have been. When was that one tested?
Dude, look at that notable terpenes.
It's right here on the front. Yeah, on the purple part,
that's. What I say, Yeah, Laminine,
karyophylline, Humaline Mersini.Yeah, yeah, you were reading the
other side. Yeah, I'm reading The Miners.
Pineene and Valentine and. Dude I like that solvent water
ice so you can tell the difference on the the the color.

(04:03):
The consistency is very caramel color.
Maybe that's why it has butter smell is because again, there's
no solvent, there's nothing that's.
No taking. Out products.
It's literally ice and water. Well, and the one thing about
this this, so this is not a super energizing sativa.
It's a more of a wake, but it doesn't make your heart race.

(04:26):
Very heavy, but not like. And it doesn't put you like an
overall like. Oh, anxious.
Or no, not like a hyper mood or,or even like.
See the difference between this one and Super Lemon Haze is
Super Lemon Haze always puts a smile on my face.
This one is fine. It's kind of weird.
I feel it in my jaw. Yeah, lower jaw.

(04:47):
I feel it a lot there. I feel right at the bend and
going down I don't feel any. I feel a little bit in the head.
It's a, it's a heady high, but it's not overly heady.
I've taken a couple of I will, we'll go back into it and hit it
again for a full session on thatone and see how we feel again
with a dosing a little bit higher.
I'm feeling it behind the eyes. It's nice.

(05:11):
It's not bad at all. Behind the eyes, though, it's
pretty subtle. Yeah, super subtle, but I feel
it in the head. But it's super subtle.
It's not something that I don't know I got.
I get this feeling of almost annoyance.
Really. Yeah.
Like, I wouldn't be very patientwith people right now.
Weird. That's how I feel, like

(05:32):
internally, like, I'm just thinking about, like, how would
I interact with other people around this?
I don't think I would want to bearound a lot of other people.
Like, I can hang with you or I can hang with my wife.
I probably won't even want to hang around my kids right now
just because they wouldn't want to complain about stupid shit.
You know, I mean, first world problems, which is totally fine.
You know, your kids are like, wedon't have these snacks.
And then there's kids in Africa like that black lady from

(05:55):
YouTube where she moved to Africa and she's like, they got
no snacks. Right, like all these kids here,
man, I'm. I'm hungry.
I haven't eaten in an hour. OK, well, chill the fuck out,
hungry. You're not going to die.
Yeah, you're, you're bored, not hungry.
You're. Bored and you need you feel.
You need to be entertained and now you're eating.

(06:19):
Yeah, if you want to feel alive,go scare the neighbor's dog and
then run. And run depending on the dog.
Yeah. I mean, we've got a Doberman 2
houses down, you know, a Doberman in a pit.
You'd always think that the Dobermans are going to be the
ones that do it. I remember watching this thing,
I don't know why, but it was this.
It was based off of the most theanimals that bite people the

(06:40):
most. You'd be totally shocked to find
out which one is the number Dalmatian.
They bite the most people over here.
Had he's been bit twice by big dogs, once in the face by an
Alaskan Malamute, and then. I'm not a fan of those dogs.
Not at all. They're annoying, they're whiny,
they're loud. Or super chatty.

(07:01):
I had a Husky for a year until she ran away.
Oh, that's horrible. But then.
When you were a kid. No, no.
Oh, you're an adult? Yeah, I'm married.
And then after that my ex got the little yappy Chihuahua so
but the Husky got out the. Side of curled lip.
Yeah, Huskies are great dogs in certain aspects, but.

(07:24):
If you yeah, if you live in coldor they're not, use a sled.
So. Much hair like ours was an
outside dog played with her all the time.
She was sweetheart but I'm not AI don't like animal hair in my
house. At all plus what you got your
your typical HVAC system that's getting in there too 'cause it's

(07:46):
a fuck ton of hair yeah like dude, I I don't I don't get that
like I am a big fan of pits. I always have been not because
they're I've just always had great interactions with pits.
They're super friendly dogs, they're very loving, I've met.
A lot of great pits, but Jackie and James, their last pit.

(08:06):
Total asshole. Yeah, dude.
Sometimes it's just it's to the bone.
Yeah, but they've had a lot of other ones that were sweetheart,
like Cindy. Cindy was such a sweetheart.
She was a pet. Like I've had tons of friends
with them and it's all training. You know how to train that dog?
Yeah, how? Do you treat it?
And the type of breeds like the American Bully, it looks like an

(08:29):
aggressive one. It's just super muscly and it's
shorter. Like I like them shorter because
they're they're fast, but they're also cuddly because when
you get those big ass ones, you get on top of you and you're
like. My brother had three Danes,
that's like 3 great Danes and they're.
Three small horses. Yeah, in a house.

(08:50):
Yeah. Nope.
Yeah, I, I had a roommate. He, he got one in our
two-bedroom basement apartment and he had a kennel that was
like this tall. Yeah.
And it was a massive kennel, andit was just a puppy and it was
all over. And he's real rough with
animals. And so like, one day I came home

(09:13):
from work and I worked like a swing shift.
And when I got home, the dog waslike, right there barking at me.
And it had me in the corner, said, hey, man, get your dog
away from me and his girlfriends.
Just at the time, This is annoying.
Southern girl. She's out.
What? Just walk past them.
Aren't you big mean boy? I'm like, Dan, get your dog away

(09:35):
from me. I'm going to fucking shoot it.
And she's like, he's not going to shoot it.
And I just pulled my gun out andpull back the hammer and Dan
goes I'm going to I got him. I got him and I'm like, dude.
But if your dog's that much of aDick, put your dog away.
Yeah, like we're training better.
Well, I lived there and there's this thing like, dude, it was
just so because he was so aggressive with it.

(09:58):
And, and sometimes they're just.Aggressive with his dog.
This last one, he was super aggressive with him, but that
dog was also super aggressive and like I don't feel like that
really helps. I don't think that really solved
the solute like. You know, dogs all have their
places. You know, I, I've been wondering
about that, like with my little dog and she's just here to just

(10:18):
be loving, you know? I mean, they don't, they don't
really. I think most dogs kill animals.
Like most dogs if they started off and and humans like around
it, they're here because they want to be loved and depending
on how we treat them is their temperament and how they react
and how they treat other people, right?
And they all have like special abilities, you know, like you've
got those greyhounds, they're meant for fast hunting.

(10:43):
Like those are awesome hunting animal for rabbits and stuff,
'cause it's so entitled. I mean, and they can keep up
with the rabbit and they can maneuver with the rabbit.
Like my dog is a little rat terrier.
And if you ever pull up a video like up on YouTube, it's
hilarious for rat terriers hunting rats and they bring them
to farms. Oh.
That's crazy. And they'll just, and you'll,

(11:04):
they'll like move some like hay and the rats could come flying
out and they just pick them up and, you know, break their neck
and flip them and grab the otherone.
And they're just having a good old time all.
Right. So now that it's settled in a
little bit. Yeah, I'm more.
I'm more high. I feel it more in my head.
Yeah, I feel even it's like a pretty heavy like the like a

(11:28):
mask, like not that lame ass shit that they had on on
Netflix, but like the iron mask he has like this mask that goes
around like this. It's like yellow and it goes
across and it feels like almost like it's back here and then
somebody tied it in a tight knot.
Yeah. You can feel it all across your

(11:49):
head. I.
Don't feel it a lot. On my own, no, it just it's a
soft. Yeah, but like the sides.
Yes, I feel a lot when I put my hat on.
I can feel it even more on the top of my head.
I mean, say shave my head. It's a little bit more
sensitive, but. After I ran my fingers through
my hair I felt it too and I was like oh OK, now I.

(12:10):
Feels good cottonmouth. Yeah, not overly bad, but it
isn't drier. I like strains like cheetah Piss
or Santa Santa Cruz Blues. We'll we'll do one on that is a
great like. OK, Yeah.
But it not cotton mouthy. And that's in flour too.

(12:34):
Flour. That's nuts.
It was great but I really enjoy this now.
This strain is best best consumed in a a little bit
bigger dose. I would say small micro doses
really won't give you the full feel.
Unless you're a new user, then always start low and slow but

(12:54):
like. Well, that that irritation
totally gone. Yeah, I was feeling.
Right. Maybe it's a stage.
Of where it was yeah, well, it could be.
What is it now? The lemon I'm.
I'm such a fan of laminating humaline kind of makes me feel
that way sometimes. That's where I get that a.
Tightness in your. Job Yeah, 'cause it's still

(13:15):
there, but it's not. It's not.
It could get annoying but the feeling of it all over, it's so
nice. Nothing in the body so I could
do physical things. I don't know, I wonder.
Like my body feels kind of relaxed but not.
Yes. Not like I feel it in my body.
This would be really good for the gym.
Oh. Yeah, hyper focused.

(13:36):
I don't feel like I could get distracted, but I do feel like
if I had too many things going on at once I wouldn't be able to
keep up. Yeah, it's good.
Like sit down, race, put in someheadphones, go to the gym, like
get really in a focus and you yeah, racing would be dope on
this. It'd be great at the gym because
the lemonine and the humalene inthere is going to keep that

(14:00):
heart rate down. You know karyophylline.
Focused on each rap like that. The hustle movement.
Oh yeah, well, and and you wouldyou're I mean like there are
certain like indicas I'll smoke before I go to the gym and
they'll elevate my heart rate where I actually get tired
faster. So this would be a great strain

(14:21):
for the gym. I love this.
I feel great on it. It's.
Fantastic. Yeah, it's really good.
Yeah, if you. Well, Moxie's everywhere in
several different places. Different States and great
voodoo might be as well. You might find that in a lot of
different places, yeah. Let's see.

(14:41):
It's pretty awesome. I know they got a place in
Michigan. We should find out if it's in
Michigan. Oh.
Yeah, that'd be cool that. 'D be cool.
We got a lot of listeners out inMichigan.
You know, I was only I will go into that next episode.
But that's another thing too that's I really like about this
is even though it feels slightlyslow in the head.

(15:01):
I'm as you know, I can get really sidetracked in the
conversation, especially if I'm high, but I feel really I caught
myself. I was about to go one down.
No, it was a, it was a concept and a thought that we had talked
about previously. And then I was like, no, that's
for something else. That surprising for yeah, but

(15:22):
it's not a very. I mean you could go with a
thought train, but it's not likerunaway jumped random thought
jumped a random thought like. I would like to mix this with
some cheetah piss. Or or cougar piss.
For a really fun well yeah, for fun time I'm thinking like work
super lemon haze boom dude till it was gone so that's why it was

(15:44):
gone. I love that one, but cheetah
piss is such a great catalyst strain where I can mix it
literally with anything and it just elevates.
But it doesn't make you couch lock.
Yeah like if. Cheetah piss is such a good
elevation one, like it's a good focus energized so if you mix it

(16:07):
even with a higher indica or something.
But this makes me feel like I'vemixed it with Zod because Zod
gives me that kind of slightly foggy head.
But the cheetah piss always keeps me hyper focused.
So but it elevates my heart rate.
This does not elevate my heart rate.
See, like doing this, It's a washing machine.

(16:29):
Yeah, it's, it's like I think. The light seem a little brighter
maybe like I'm trying to but. But softer, white, softer.
Around, but then more vibrant. In the act, yeah, you're because
our eyes are relaxing so much. It's, it's giving you that Halo
effect. Yeah.
So yeah, yeah, that's pretty. And it's crazy too, because I'm

(16:51):
thinking about it right now. I'm able to keep pretty coherent
thoughts. So as much as I like this, this
would be horrible for a call call set because I'd be drinking
water throughout the whole thingand be like, hold on, I've been
talking all day and I was smoking this amazing string
called great Voodoo And then they'd be like, come on over,

(17:13):
we'll sign today. Just bring that great voodoo.
I like it. I like it.
It is a very cotton mouthy strain.
I would recommend getting a bunch of like sugar free Jolly
Ranchers to just have around. Those would be really awesome
fruit, cold fruit. I know that cold fruit for me
helps me like an apple. Apples have been my go to to

(17:37):
mitigate munchies because it's cold and I it has to be cold for
me. And it's it's kind of the
texture, it's the sense. It's the flake.
I mean, it hits a yeah. And so because it's so focusing
like a food, not like a burrito,when you eat a burrito, you're
like, this will make a turd. Like that's all you're thinking.

(17:59):
And it's it's. Just supposed.
To have so much going on like the texture.
Yeah, you really? Experience a burrito.
You're like, oh, this is a mushymush of lots of flavors
potentially, but it's not the same.
As yeah, it's it's just not as as involved like when you're.
Elevated every expensive. And you're eating a single thing
like like strawberries, like if it's a, if it's a really

(18:21):
unripened strawberry, no bueno. This would be a great tasting
strain like if you were just like, I'm going to get a meal
going on pretty soon. Oh, it would be too.
I don't feel super munchy but I could eat fruit for some reason.
I think this would be a good oneto just slowly enjoy it.
Yes, savor a meal, a snack. Well, this would be great in a

(18:44):
joint. Oh, in flour?
Oh that would be amazing. With cougar piss.
Oh. Happy blood.
Talk about a happy. Person so much.
Because I'm very I'm, I'm, I'm happy.
Not overly jovial. No, no.
It's just a pleasant experience. And very focused in my
conversation. I like that.

(19:04):
I like that. I don't like when I get into a
chip super chatty time because Iwaste time.
I really do. It's not a strain either where
like my mind's getting pulled off while you're talking or
something like it's a very present strain.
You know, that's kind of crazy. You just said that because I got
this feeling of like total, likeoneness in this room.

(19:28):
You feel that, Like it just feels like everything is still.
Yeah, but it's I think it's thispresence that this strain gives
beyond some of these other ones that we've tried.
You get cougar pisses. Amazing.
Love that strain. Might be the best of the year
but like. This is a.
Very present, like maybe it would be good for if you're

(19:51):
really struggling or have had like a rough day.
You're on the road for like an hour and a half trying to get
home. Yeah, this should be like, yeah,
there's another strain I did that was like.
If you're stuck in Utah traffic,go home.
Well, we won't complain about those on the I-5 out there in
Cali because that. Oh, that's pain.

(20:13):
Too stocks and it never goes away, but the we're we're
getting a taste out here in Utahlike every day getting worse.
You know you want to get like 30miles, plant an hour.
It's. Easy.
And it if it's not the constructions, it's the idiots.
Just all yesterday I, I don't know what was going on.

(20:34):
As I was heading South there were two different stops of
Highway Patrol with two cops stopped.
At 1 was an accident and then asI was heading down 4 cops raced
down the shoulder with their lights on and never saw an
accident, never saw a anything on the freeway that that was
relating to and I was just kind of like what the hell.

(20:59):
Yesterday was a crazy day on theroad.
Oh dude, I remember one time, weird, I think I talked about it
and I was like good Lord's looking out for me 'cause I was
stuck in traffic. And this is the thing dude, I
was stuck in for an hour and this is the equivalent of 1/4 of
a mile. This semi holding like 3 deep of

(21:21):
the trailers and construction area so there's no shoulder and
he's blocking all of it. And so we were just stuck there
forever and I'm sitting there for a while now.
Mind you, I have expired tags and I get out, finally breaks it

(21:43):
funnels down to 1 lane and you have to cut across the lanes in
an open freeway. As I'm going like this, this
highway patrolman starts going here and I'm like oh you're the
cop, go ahead. And he's like no, you go ahead.
I'm like fuck. So I start pulling forward and
as I start driving, I'm just being casual.
I look up at the rear view and he goes from the left into my

(22:06):
lane, but he's like 2 cars back.So I'm like, all right, I'm
going to slowly get off. And then he starts getting off.
I'm like, fuck, start going on the off ramp.
And what do you know, right in the middle of the road there's a
shredded tire just sitting there.
Most of the tire I go oops, right around it.

(22:29):
Cop just have to pull off to theside and he stops everybody and
grabs the tire. And I was like, dude, every time
he just yes, OB, yeah, dude, seriously, I was just like.
Freaking out. I'm like, I'm like.
Oh, and. There's a tire.
I'm like, the obstacle is the way.
Yeah, dude. Oh, that's like a butt hole

(22:51):
clenching moment of like. I'm gonna get a Nah, but I'm
just like. If it does, it happens.
It happens. Yeah.
And if he goes, why didn't you get it taken care of?
I just got a job. I'm actually, I, I mean, I, I'm
just going to go with this storyuntil I get a pass.
I'm I'm going to get my first paycheck next week so I can get
this taken care of. It's been great.

(23:14):
And and that is dude, it's it's this is such a good string.
You could really gaming. Sure, but I would rather do
something more cerebral, more ofan engaging conversation.
Maybe watch something that we can discuss, right?
This is yesterday morning. I went and boarded with Bennett

(23:37):
and before we did some coffee and cannabis and we started with
some super lemon Haze because I just pulled out this beautiful
stash box and let him pick whatever he wanted.
So he was looking at the terpenes and going, oh, I really
like this one. What's this terpene do?
And, and OK, and so we he pickedSuper Lemon Haze 1st and so we

(23:58):
started with that and then, you know, dabbed that and I cleaned
it out and then I threw in a little great voodoo and that
combination was fantastic. It was super pleasant, but it
didn't last crazy long, maybe like an hour.
Yeah, that's the one thing that Super Lemon Haze is pretty.
Pretty. Yeah, it's very short lived.

(24:20):
It's good. Yeah.
That's why it's good for sprintslike call block.
I could do that in where I couldbe.
And that's something, I mean, one of the things that I've
really started to think about with cannabis and work is I'm
back into the cold calling era and there's always a little bit
of. Anxiety.

(24:41):
Yeah, anxiety, I'm bugging somebody and I'm like, oh, I
hate that feeling, but I'm I'm conscious of it.
And this lady had said no, we'rewe're all set.
And I'm like, oh, you're all set.
OK, well you have a good day andI'm like.
But I should have fought. For it and be like hey you know
what I think that's awesome and I'm sure that many of my clients

(25:01):
say the same thing about me yeahbut if you had the opportunity
and I was just like you got to go past it and you need a really
happy strain to be able to push past that and it.
Well, then it's initially like for me, when I first got into
it, it was practicing that rebuttal going OK, roll over

(25:24):
that. No, roll over that.
Oh, we're already set, OK, because every door to door
sales, it's like it's very rapey.
And that no's not a no no. Like.
Every no is just a yes like, butyou, you sit there in sales and
you're like, OK, so maybe it's they're not accepting this
offer. Maybe they're not wanting that
because they don't really understand what it is or why I'm

(25:46):
here and they're just like bothered.
I'm interrupting their day. This is not expected.
Like how many times when you're sitting there actually working,
doing something and some random ass person calls you to sell you
something. Are you going?
Yeah, Here, let me dedicate my time, pull it away from whatever
I'm doing so I can allocate thatfor you.
All right, go ahead. You're, you're super special.

(26:09):
I know you feel super special cause, but you better feel
fucking special 'cause I just pulled away my time like I've
got all this other shit. I don't know you from Tom de
Kerry, Charles, you know, and so.
Yeah, you got that moment where you need to grab them.
You got to grab their attention and you've got to, you've got to
feel confident. Like, you know, I started
thinking about, like you ever you saw the Wolf of Wall Street.

(26:32):
You know, I like how Matthew McConaughey is in that one.
Like, especially like when it goes down, it hits 8:00.
He goes let's fuck. But I mean.
It's, it's this attitude like he's like super excited and, and
thinking about stockbrokers at that time like they were, they
were yelling at their clients. Yeah, you.

(26:52):
Fucking idiot. You better buy that.
You better buy it because it's going to make so it's going to
make 20 fucking percent next quarter, you stupid fuck.
And the guy's like, fine, fucking buy it.
When you think like New York markets and stuff, yeah,
different industry and. That I would love to be fly on
the wall and, and that's the thing I started thinking about

(27:13):
man. And a strain like this would be
great for it now. But you, you need to let it sit
in. I would say good half hour sit
in and then it kicks in. Cottonmouth has dissipated a
little bit. Yeah, it's not too bad.
I would think on a call I would I would get some of those mouth
spray. Yeah.
I always not not the jizzy. Ones like crazy because I would

(27:37):
I would have this problem where I become so familiar,
comfortable with it, like my fast or knocking doors.
You, you do it so long and you role play every single day in
the office before. Like you have it so ingrained
that someone's like, Oh no, thisOK.
And you just keep going because it's, it's not a no, it's not

(27:58):
this. It's just like, yeah, that's not
why I'm here. Like.
And so you keep going because it's not that.
And you're not tripped up by that.
But it takes some getting used to.
It's like. It's well dude, it's like
shooting a gun or shooting a bow.
Or even you're. Gonna miss a little few, yeah?
I realized this last year because it was the the most
times in one year I've ever snowboarded in my life.

(28:21):
And that's because Alec got intoto it.
And so I had someone to go with all the time and he's like, hey,
I found this deal, let's go. And I'm like, OK, done.
It's OK, I found this deal. Let's go.
OK, done. So I think I went six times in a
year. For me, that's the most I've
ever done. And that was fantastic.
I got way more into control of my board.

(28:41):
I like learned way more than I ever have because of the amount
of time in one season that I spent on the board.
And in the end, I felt a milliontimes more confident in my
boarding than I ever have. And I was like, holy shit.
I was like six times just. Got to get those reps.
Yeah. And that's all it is.
It's just that practice of like,OK, yeah.

(29:02):
And finding what actually works. All right.
So yeah, they're not, this mightnot be the best approach or
what, what really works with those gatekeepers of those
people going, how do I get you in there?
Because it's, you know? Dude, they do one I told you
about where these guys will takelike an ice cream scooper.
Oh, and give it as a yeah. Guess what does it work?

(29:22):
It works. Interesting.
The guy who was in, they have this like beginner group.
It's, it's very generous. You, it's very rigorous to get
through and then there's a lot of training when you get in.
But it's crazy because this guy,he, he didn't use the CRM that
they gave him. He went through it one day, made

(29:43):
calls, got nothing done and he'slike fuck this, but they give
you sales navigator. So he just went through that
one, spent like 3 days, just filled up his pipeline.
He just kept finding new ones, putting him into a CRM.
And then he said I replace 10 ofthem every week.
And then he just went and he just called and called and

(30:03):
called and called and he would drop by.
When he dropped by, he'd bring the ice cream scoopers.
He graduated and he was the he was the second highest in all
the nation in that group. Yeah, in the what's the?
But it's a. Tenacity, too.
It's not just the ice cream scoops.
It's. It's how you deliver.
It that came with. That and that's one of the

(30:24):
things like I really got good atis the in person on the phone
and it's a it's an ego state. I was thinking about it this
last week and I, I was like a couple calls of the first of the
day. Yeah.
And the ladies like, no, we're we're all set.
And I'm like, oh, you're all set.
And I was like, I was a little hired.
I'm like, oh, you're all set. Oh, that sounds awesome.

(30:44):
Well, you have a good day. And I'm like, why you say that?
Like why didn't you have perfectopportunity to say something?
And it was this thing like whereI loved on the spot because I'm
very. Comfortable face to face. 100%.
I was way more comfortable on the phones.
On the phones, I could be anybody I was.
Yeah. Oh yeah, I remember that.

(31:06):
I would. You're awesome.
Accents I would like. You're awesome.
Whatever. And that's what I learned when I
I went and knocked doors with Vivint.
That was my hardest summer of mylife.
Yeah, I remember you were telling.
Me so much knocking those doors, and then I came in from knocking
doors and I went to their retention department inside
sales and I fucking crushed. It.
Oh, I bet. And it was the easiest thing in

(31:28):
the world because I'm like, oh God, I don't have to go out at
125°. I don't have to go in to this
crazy humidity. I don't have to go and knock
from 10:00 AM till 10 PMI don't have to sit in these crazy
hoods. I can sit in an air conditioned
office, I can have my drink, I can listen to tunes, I can have
buddies surrounding me. I can get up and wander around.
I can joke, I can laugh. I can go out to lunch real fast.

(31:50):
Come like it was way. Simpler.
And so for me, the phones was like nothing, dude.
And so the door to door was tough because and getting into
networking, it was like, oh man, well now I've got to go out and
sell. No, I don't.
I've just got to be friendly. I've got to make friends and
connect with people. Once you get.
Past that part, they'll want to help you.

(32:10):
They'll go, oh shit, hey, I really like you.
Well, and you got to stand out like one of the things that I,
I, they, I'm not going to do theice cream scoops because the ice
cream scoops are that one. That's not, I mean, it's
somewhat memorable. It's kind of cute, but I was
like, dude, go with, go with theunique talent.
And I go in with balloon animals.
So I'm going to do this one monkey that can wrap around the

(32:31):
neck and then I'll have a collararound it, has my card on it,
and it, it'll be something whimsical on the back.
I, I don't know, whatever. But The thing is, is that I want
them to Remember Me. Not that, hey, you know, 'cause
I'm going to be the balloon benefit guy.
Yeah. Well, then you have a unique
look. You are.
It's different than just someonecoming in and doing.

(32:53):
That 100% and that's. You know, it's the most the best
sales are the connections. It's just you made a friend and
then they're like, what the hellare you actually doing?
Yeah, You know, I was just here to drink your beer and have food
with you Do. You guys have coffee?
In the meantime, I'm actually selling.
Decaf like muffins, like yeah, exactly.

(33:13):
And it's and that's so weird. Like you, you pointed out
perfectly on that one. Then I just go like, yeah,
you're like great in person. I'm like, oh dude, that's I can
perform, you know, I can be there, I can go into a voice and
it makes it more impactful. Like how you doing?
It's nice to meet you. If I came with that, I mean,
every time. There was some lame indoor sales

(33:35):
job that I did one, one year andthe manager held all their
records and I was new there, butI'd knocked doors.
I'd done indoor sales and or inside sales and.
I like indoor. We could go with the indoor.
Indoor sales. And so I did it one day in a
British accent and beat his record.

(33:56):
Next day I did it in an Indian accent and beat his record.
I outsold his record in Indian accent.
Indian accent, yeah. Yeah, dude, that's hilarious.
And I was just like, but you have like, you have fun with it.
It doesn't matter anymore. It wasn't.
I never did sales. Like money was great.
I loved it, but I never did it strictly because of the money.

(34:18):
It wasn't like, Oh my God, I'm like, I just enjoyed that there
was some energy in that. Oh yeah, there's dopamine hits.
Yes, dopamine hits. Winning when you.
Win and I'm competitive, so I loved my fast with the best
'cause they had TV's with everyone's name on it and so you
could see where you were at, where you're ranking on the day.
I remember that. And it was like, Oh yeah, look,

(34:41):
my name's at the top. Oh hey, look, I hold the Daily
Record. Oh hey, I hold the weekly
record. Oh, my team holds the daily and
weekly record. Like, it became this excitement
of like pride, like you truly take pride in it because like,
yeah, no, look what I have done and it's, I don't know, sales is
interesting. It's fun.

(35:01):
It's I, The thing is, it's people fun.
It's people and I like, so it's the good part I like about it.
And that's why I like what I'm doing right now because I, I,
I'm all I'm doing is offering legit, legitimate help.
Like, you know, they're going todo something anyways on this
one. It's not a choice it and they
have to or they don't. I guess sales is just mostly

(35:23):
fun, it's the corporate aspect that puts the stress on it.
That's another thing. That, hey, we've raised your
quarter 2540% since last quarterand we need you to hit this
trajectory. Fuck last time's trajectory, it
was 25% higher than the quarter before that.
And, you know, consecutively andyou're like, OK, so they just
keep adding on these ones and you're like, I mean, we keep

(35:45):
crushing it, but isn't there a, a point of like?
Dude, that's what's so cool about this company because
they're they're like, hey, here's your quota.
You got to hit it in two years. Yeah, which is?
And when you hit it, because youknow when you hit that point you
graduate and after that we're going to give you a raise, we're

(36:05):
going to give you a significant raise and then your percentage
is going to change on Commission.
But 20% of what been your Commission you get as cash.
The other 20% gets put into equity.
Oh, that's cool. So you got to buy equity in this
company and they're they trade pretty high and they had a 17%

(36:28):
increase just last. Percent is fantastic.
Yeah, and they every single timeyou make a sale, they put money
into it when you they'll take your half and then they put in
another half. So you're you're getting.
Double masted dirt. And they're, and one of the
things that they had talked about, it was really cool.
They're like, say you want to buy a car, don't get a car loan,

(36:48):
take a loan out on that. You can buy it.
Just come to us with the exact dollar amount, what you need and
we'll get that for you. We'll cut your check.
That's cool. They'll take it right out of it.
It's like a life insurance policy.
Yeah. So, you know, when you're
looking at equity plays like it's it's cool.
And this company, dude, like every time you hit another
milestone, they're like, hey, doyou like doing that?

(37:09):
Like, yeah, dude, you're crushing it here.
Would you like to go even higher?
Yeah. All right.
Yeah. You got to learn a bunch of new
stuff. See, I think that's the problem
is so many companies don't have a great path of progression put
in place. Leadership training.
No, it's a. You hit a a point and then and

(37:31):
then they look at it and they'relike, all right, well, we want
to grow and how we have to grow is cut employee pay, cut
commissions and like decrease costs here.
And like it's interesting structure, business process and
certain companies. And it's like, I don't think you
really thought a lot of this design through or you know.

(37:53):
Oh, this is a good strain. It's a chatty strain.
It is a chatty strain. Well, this one, this one went a
little longer, yeah, but I hope you guys enjoyed it.
TuneIn next week, where Brandon will be juggling the fire
sticks. Also make sure go down there if
you need a code for a bomb Cycloud or a bomb Mad cloud or

That hot knife. This is the one of the coolest
hot knives ever. Also synthetics 5.
Yeah, one of the best novelty urine things on the market.
For all you kinky people out there.
You know, I heard that you couldtake a test on it too.
I do you can pass. You could almost like ace that.

(38:37):
Test it. It's smart.
It's a. It's a high testing P.
Yeah. Yeah, I don't know.
I mean, I don't know what you could do with that kind of Pi.
Don't know. It's pretty cool.
I never knew the power of P Anyways, I don't.
Know there's probably a code. Below, Yeah, check it out.
