Her passion for the environment inspired her to purchase the CNY Green Bucket Project, which focuses on food recycling and sustainability, saving over 110,000 pounds of food waste from local landfills and preventing more than 15,000 pounds of greenhouse gas emissions.
Heather's second venture, Home Sweet Home Cleaning and Gardening LLC, celebrates its 10th year in business in 2024, a significant milestone in a field where only 1.7% of million-dollar revenue companies are woman-owned. She achieved this success while raising two young children, a testament to her strength and determination.
Heather also gives back to the community, partnering with Cleaning for a Reason to provide free home cleaning services for cancer patients. Recently, she was honored with the 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the YWCA and the Mohawk Valley's Best of the Best Award for Cleaning Services. Through her businesses, Heather not only empowers herself but also creates lasting impact through job creation, waste reduction, and community betterment.
