SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
A deep change in the way that we live requires a deep
change in the way that we think.
I'm Carla Reeves, and this isdifferently.
Hey friend, happy Thursday.
I'm sitting here having a cup ofcoffee and excited to spend this
time with you.

(00:20):
It wasn't but a couple of yearsago that I heard God say, stop
trying to figure it all out.
Just show up for 10 minutes, andI will reveal the next step.
That's what God told me a coupleof years ago after hours of
trying to plan things out, mapthe future, and nothing seemed

(00:44):
to be sticking.
I'll be honest, lately I keepcatching myself defaulting to
planning before I start, wantingto have it figured out before I
begin.
In fact, it's been getting inthe way of my consistency here
with this very podcast.
I believe that the current timesare calling for something

(01:07):
different from us.
What if we don't need moreclarity and steps, but more
courage to move without them?
I want you to sit with that fora moment.
What if there's not moreinformation to gain, not a
better strategy to find?
What if this new terrain thatwe're navigating is actually

(01:30):
calling for a different versionof us?
What if it's calling us to showup without knowing how it's
gonna go?
To get in the game, to get onthe court of our life with more
courage than clarity.
I talked about this on myepisode New Terrain, New
Approach, not too long ago.

(01:52):
When the terrain of our lifechanges, sometimes the old ways
don't work like they used to.
And the our instinct might be topush harder, figure it out,
double down, work harder.
But sometimes it's not abouteffort, it's about approach.
We were driving home from myhusband's uncle's 85th birthday

(02:18):
party and spending Easter withmy family in California.
And we picked up Shane, ouryoungest, um, on our way back to
spend a couple weeks with himbefore he goes back into fire
season.
And I heard Kelly Roach talkingabout this idea of the
activation era.

(02:39):
She says that we've moved out ofthe information era, learning
more, taking more courses, andeven beyond implementation era,
which was step by step, do this,do that.
And she even talked aboutleaving hustle era, that now
we're in a different kind ofseason that she calls an
activation era, where we don'tneed more information, that we

(03:02):
actually have to become someonedifferent in order to move.
And when I heard that, Ithought, yeah, that's that's
what I've been learning andteaching and sharing for the
past 20 years, equippingindividuals with tools to change
your approach so that you cantake the reins of your life and

(03:23):
move with purpose, even with thelandscape is changing,
unfamiliar, uncertain,unsettling.
Because activation is aboutshifting how you show up.
And guess what?
Writing is a powerful vehiclefor helping you and me do just
this.

(03:44):
Writing is a tool that helps usto get out of our head and into
our life.
In fact, I was talking with oneof my clients this week and he
said something that I loved.
He said, Writing really is alubricant for my life.
It helps clear my mind, it helpsme sort things out, helps me
organize my thoughts so that Ican take action and create

(04:08):
momentum in my life.
So, friend, let me ask you, where in your life are you
spinning your wheels, waitingfor clarity, waiting to figure
it all out before you make yourmove?
And what if this is a seasonmore of grab and go?
I remember running up a trail.

(04:30):
And when you're running up adirt, rocky trail, you don't
have time to think and plan.
You have to just touch and go.
You can't stand there andanalyze every step.
You just have to move.
You have to trust your instinctand adjust as you go, go, go,
and move up the mountain.
It's the same thing.

(04:50):
I think that's the skill that weneed right now.
And if this is resonating withwhere you find yourself and
you're ready to stopoverthinking and start moving,
you're ready to build trust andconfidence and momentum.
I'm hosting a special pop-upevent at the end of April.

(05:10):
Details are coming soon.
If you're not on my email listalready, hop on over to
Carlareeves.com and sign up formy email list.
I'll definitely be sharing thedetails there.
And I just want to leave youwith the thought, what if for
today you don't have to have itall figured out?
What if you don't need the fullplan?

(05:31):
What if you just need to show upwith courage and trust that the
next step is going to berevealed?
That's all I have today, friend.
I'm thinking of you wishing youa beautiful day, and I'll see
you soon.

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Bleep! with Ana Navarro

Fear thrives in silence and confusion. Ana Navarro rejects both. Her voice is an antidote to today’s chaos. Her new podcast, Bleep! with Ana Navarro, takes on today’s most pressing issues with the voices most connected to it: decision-makers, political leaders, cultural shapers, and people on the frontlines of the story. The conversations acknowledge the emotions we all feel—despair, sadness, fear— but emerge with knowledge, perspective, and hope. The belief is simple: fearless dialogue can transform fear into courage, and courage into change. When fear dominates the headlines, this show digs deeper. Because information, debate, and conversation don’t just ease fear, they give us power to shape the future.
