On Friday morning, June 30, Javon Morris arrives in Austin and deliberately makes himself visible in the airport concourse, scanning the crowd for Anthony Russell. The two men quickly identify one another and exchange polite conversation, with Tony casually revealing his frequent travel and private aircraft before steering the discussion toward breakfast. Beneath the small talk, Javon maintains a serious edge, carefully controlling the pace and tone of the meeting.

During the drive from the airport, Javon hints that the reason for the meeting is serious and personal, unsettling Tony enough that he agrees it would be better to wait until they are off the road. The tension follows them into the Magnolia Willow Café.
