Chapter 76 Summary
Tony’s staged arrest is carried out with precision as FBI agents arrive at the airport with weapons drawn, reinforcing the authenticity of the operation. Following Javon’s instructions exactly, Tony exits the plane under armed supervision and is handcuffed on the tarmac before being rushed away in an FBI vehicle. The silence during the short drive to the FBI building heightens Tony’s anxiety, underscoring how real the situation feels despite his consent to the plan. Overcome by exhaustion and the psychological toll of recent events, he turns off the television and decides to rest, knowing that what lies ahead will demand everything he has left.
