Gwyneth Paltrow's courtroom testimony about "losing half a day of skiing" after a 2016 ski accident reveals an astonishing disconnect between celebrity privilege and reality.

• Gwyneth Paltrow testified in court after being sued by Terry Sanderson, a retired optometrist injured in a 2016 ski collision
• When asked what losses she suffered from the accident, Paltrow answered "I lost half a day of skiing"
• The hosts compare this to everyday scenarios like car accidents where someone might complain about missing recreational activities
• Discussion about how Paltrow's lawyers failed to prepare her for such a basic courtroom question
• Commentary on Paltrow being completely out of touch with reality and showing zero empathy for the injured party

Can you imagine what herresponse was from the accident?

hospital and he lost, obviouslylost some, suffered from
injuries and stuff.
He suffered half a day ofskiing.
Think about the insensitivityof that fucking answer Like how,

(02:00):
and you were to court for that.
How out of touch can you be toanswer like that, like I, just
like, seriously, I got into acar accident, yeah well, the
optometrist took her to courtbecause he was injured and I
guess he lost whatever.
So the lawyers asked her thequestion like what did you

(02:21):
suffer?
What losses did you suffer?
She said I suffered a half aday of skiing.
Wow, imagine, imagine this, right, imagine you get into a
car accident.
Right, right, you get into acar accident.

(02:42):
You have to stay there and waitfor the police officers to come
and take both your statementsand stuff like that, and then
you gotta switch, you gottaexchange information with the
person you got into an accidentand all that stuff, and then you
gotta call your insurancecompany let them know what
happened.
This can take like two, threehours, right.

(03:03):
And then you know you go tocourt and they ask you hey, you
got into this accident from thistime, this time.
Blah, blah, blah.
What damages or losses did yousuffer from?
And your answer is oh, I lostfour hours of golf.
Yeah, no, what did the otherperson suffer?

(03:27):
What?
How did they get hurt?
How did the other person gether?
They ran into each other Likethere was an accident, like the
ski accident.
I guess she was skiing and theybumped.
They ran like they just bumpedinto each other, I don't know.
Oh, okay, okay, it was a skiaccident.
Yeah, that's what I said A skiaccident, yeah, a ski.

(03:54):
So and here's the crazy thinglike she, she, she took the
stand right and this is heranswer right.
Why didn't her lawyers prep her?
They know what type of fuckingquestion is going to be asked.
Why didn't they prep her forthis?
Like what the fuck?
That's true?
Like things he was not buffingon right.
How you not come for coaching?

(04:16):
Are you getting her thing beready?
Yeah, I don't know how theydidn't coach her.
How didn't get her ready forthat question?
Like they should have had thatquestion.
They should have known thatthis was gonna be asked.
It's asked every fuckingaccident case.
Like how do you not know?
I don't know if she lost thecase or won it, but it's just

(04:38):
not a good look, especially withall the other shit that I
brought up about her.
