Roland and Michael break down energy medicine: the real science behind it, and the grifters giving it a bad name. They open with the origin of the word "quackery" (it's older and darker than you'd think), then dig into why anything non-allopathic gets dismissed outright. Roland and Michael separate what's legitimate, hands-on healing, subtle energy work, from what's pure theater, and call out a well-known scammer who promised to cure HIV and cancer through a Tesla coil. From there, they rapid-fire test popular wellness devices: infrared saunas, red light panels, PMF mats, rife machines, and hyperbaric oxygen, explaining which ones hold up and which are just expensive placebos. They close on grounding, acupuncture, and how to tell a real psychic from someone reading a script. Michael Scalar (00:00):
Well, you're tuned into Everything's Energy,

(00:02):
and we are tuning in today totalk about the Wu Society, or
maybe not, but energy medicine, the good, the bad, the ugly, the
funny.

Roland (00:13):
Hold on. I'm not hilarious.

Michael Scalar (00:13):
Hold on. Oh, wait. He has to don.

Roland (00:15):
I need to tune into your frequency, Michael.

Michael Scalar (00:17):
Tune in harder.

Roland (00:19):
Oh. I need to your aura is a little

Michael Scalar (00:22):
Oh, thank you.

Roland (00:22):
Get A little dirty. Clean that aura up. Yeah.
Alright. K.
And I would like you just totouch this.

Michael Scalar (00:26):
Okay. I need to touch the crystals.

Roland (00:27):
Okay. Now you can go. Okay. Now we're good.

Michael Scalar (00:29):
Okay. So we're we're talking about stuff and
things.

Roland (00:32):
We're talking about

Michael Scalar (00:33):
right off my aura. Forgot what we're talking
about.

Roland (00:36):
I wanted to talk about energy medicine.

Michael Scalar (00:39):
Alright. Let's do

Roland (00:40):
it. Or Energy medicine. I don't like to use the word
medicine, but there is thisgrowing trend in our industry,
in society as a whole of aresurgence of things that used
to be cast aside in any sort ofhealth care, things that are
nonphysical modalities of energyand healing. People use
quackery. Do you know where theterm quackery comes from?

Michael Scalar (01:02):
I wanna say ducks and maybe little tiny
ducks.

Roland (01:05):
No. It actually comes from an old practice where they
used to inject Quebec silverinto people who had high blood
pressure because it would pokeholes in the kidneys, and
people's blood pressure woulddrop.

Michael Scalar (01:16):
What kind of silver?

Roland (01:17):
Quebec silver. It's like a German origin. It's an old
German practice. So you would bea quack if you would do this to
people because yes, you woulddrop their blood pressure, but
they would die of poisoning. Sothere's actually an origin
story, but why I want to bringthis up is anything is non
allopathic or maybe even nonfunctional medicine practice

(01:40):
gets a bad rap nowadays from somany people because they
immediately dismiss it.
Yeah. And I think thisconversation is warranted
because look at the basis forthis show. It's an energy
healing technology, right? Mhmm.Your mom's legend as a doctor of
natural medicine is in hands onhealing, release, trauma work,
emotional work, and that stuffis becoming very popular

(02:03):
nowadays.
And I think it's great becauseit gives people more options
because healing is not just aphysical meat suit thing.

Michael Scalar (02:09):
Mhmm.

Roland (02:11):
But there are so many charlatans, and there are so
many people playing things up.You hear the stories of gurus
and people becoming part of somesort of cult and sexual abuse
and all this stuff. So I thinkwith your experience, you know,
being a lifelong person who'sbeen immersed in this stuff

Michael Scalar (02:28):
I was born into the woo woo.

Roland (02:30):
You were. And and I adopted a little bit later in
life, but I have had wonderfulexperiences in my own experience
helping other people. I studieda lot of things. I like to
demystify some of this stuff.

Michael Scalar (02:42):
Alright. Well, I mean, I I like to take one of
the woos out of the woo woo, andPlease. Now we're in the woo woo
ah range. But, yeah, obviously,EE system start off as super woo
woo and quackery to most people.Everyone thought we were
absolutely crazy until theystarted seeing the results, and
they're like, okay.
Maybe there's something there. And I think energy healing as a

(03:03):
hands on healer has been veryvalid over years. People have
done the the group prayer overpeople. The power of the mind is
extremely powerful.

Roland (03:10):
Mhmm.

Michael Scalar (03:10):
I think some people are obviously more adept
at it and then have naturalskills and abilities and natural
healers. And then other peopleare like, well, they can do it,
I can do it, and that's probablynot always the case.

Roland (03:20):
It doesn't just happen automatically. There is a skill
and a skill that's acquired.

Michael Scalar (03:25):
It's like like violinist who just keeps trying
but keeps playing the badchords. Know, not everyone's
gifted to play the violin.

Roland (03:32):
And that's a good point. Some people have a natural
aptitude for these things. Somepeople that don't. And you know
what I find? The people who aremore creative, the artists, the
musicians, the right brainpeople, the ones who are
intuitive seem to have a naturalability with this stuff, where
someone's a little bit morelogical, a little bit more like,
say, an engineer or amathematician, probably not

(03:53):
their natural wheelhouse.
I know I'm generalizing, but Ilook at patterns of things.

Michael Scalar (03:57):
No. No. Absolutely. I mean, you need a
bounce light right left brainhemisphere. You can't just be
living in the left to to do thewoo.
Mhmm. There's so many differentmodalities in the woo too that,
you know, you have astrologers, you have the the Reiki master.
It was a ongoing joke in ourfamily for a while because we
meet so many Reiki masters. We're like, oh, another Reiki

(04:18):
master? They're just handingthese certificates out to
everyone.
Everyone's a master. They say,I'm a yoga teacher, Reiki
master. I'm a Reiki master

Roland (04:27):
Mhmm.

Michael Scalar (04:27):
And a consultant and or just a straight Reiki
master. It's like, so what doyou do for a living?

Roland (04:33):
I'm homeless. Work at Starbucks.

Michael Scalar (04:36):
Yeah. It was never that. It was like, well, a
trust fund kid or just randomthings. It's like, but there
were so many Reiki masters. I'mI'm not gonna poo poo on Reiki.
There there's there's greatstuff there. I personally
experienced very few people thatare actually masters at being
Reiki masters. What's yourexperience with that?

Roland (04:57):
It's hard to say because I've I've always explored
various things within the fieldof energy medicine that I find
interesting. I've had cranialsacral therapy experiences. I've
had people who do osteopathy, which is actually traditional
osteopathy is kind of like ablend of physical therapy and
energy work where they can feeldifferent things within people.

(05:17):
I've had amazing experienceswith those kinds of things and
they work better than purelyphysical modalities do because I
think they look at things onmultiple levels. When it comes
to energy medicine, I I wannadefine something for people so
they know where I'm coming from.
Right? Yeah. Energy in my worldis information. Right? If we we

(05:38):
actually define and demystifyit, a field of energy is just a
field of information.
Most of what we pick up asinformation in this realm, this
third dimension, is based uponthe five senses. What can we
touch? What can we hear, feel, see, things of that nature? So
when someone's an energypractitioner, they're getting
into the world of the subtleenergies, the things that are

(05:59):
not dense. They're they'rebeyond maybe the Newtonian kinds
of things.
People are trying to veryreductionistically make them
about quantum physics, and theysay the right things and sound
right. But we really don'tactually know what's going on.
But some people have the abilityto perceive things. For example,
a Reiki practitioner might beable to put their hand over
someone, and they will feelsomething in an area of their

(06:20):
body. Mhmm.
And that may correlate that withthat person saying, you know, I
have a kidney problem. I havethis fascial tension thing right
here. So they're perceivingsomething through their body
that is of information cominginto the person on a subtle
level and they're convertingthat into some sort of analysis,
assessment, and then they'retrying to focus on fixing it.

(06:42):
Same thing with psychic stuff.Right?
To me psychic is informationbeyond the five senses. So I
wanna demystify it because ifyou do an EEG on someone, you
put electrodes on their head, you can measure the frequency of
brain waves. Yeah. You've delta, theta, alpha, beta, gamma. If
you do an echocardiogram onsomeone to check their heart,

(07:03):
you can see the high frequencyand the low frequencies coming
off what's called the synatrialnode.
This is the funny part. Allwestern medicine uses energy
medicine for their diagnostics.Don't realize that's how an MRI
works. It's how a CAT scanworks. It's how of the
diagnostics that are trying topick up on the functional
patterns of the body operate.
But we we discredit them when wecan't put them in this box, but

(07:26):
people are wanting to

Michael Scalar (07:28):
crystals for instance, are they help clocks
stay in sync. Yeah. They're insemiconductors, different things
for transmitting information orenergy. So it's it's it's
fascinating when when you reduceit to, well, don't understand
that. It must be garbage.
Then you're you're kind ofskipping over the logic process.

Roland (07:45):
Yeah. And all energy medicine practitioners,
regardless of what it is theydo, is they're tapping into
something we can't see, butthey're able to perceive, and
they're able to convert thatinformation into something to
give back to you as this is whatI'm picking up that's going
wrong. This is what I'm sensingthat is going on in your system
that you may need some helpwith. Or, you know, I've met

(08:05):
someone who they told me aboutfamily member of mine who I
never told this person anythingabout this person's existence,
let alone that I wanted to talkto them. It just comes through.
So there's definitely somethingto this, and I think society is
waking up to it. There's aninterest, a resurgence, but this
is where the people who arecharlatans come in, and they
give the industry a bad rap.

Michael Scalar (08:26):
They really do. I mean, there's so many people
like, I keep getting told you'rein an industry of 95% snake oil,
and you're

Roland (08:32):
Do you think it's that high? I think

Michael Scalar (08:34):
it really is.

Roland (08:35):
I'd like to believe it's not that

Michael Scalar (08:37):
I mean, that's the number. It's been told to me
multiple. They literally alwaysthrow out 95%. Multiple people
have been like, you're in anindustry that's 95% stake oil.
I'm like and and then, obviously, it it tracked my
mind.
I'm just like, why did the whydoes that that number keep
coming? Maybe it's 92% or maybeit's 90%. I don't I don't really
know. There's no metric forthat, but it's pretty high. You
see these companies come and goall the time and make big claims

(09:00):
and get shut down on there therewas one guy in the scale.
He's he's passed now, so I'llI'll just say his name. Tom
Paladino was a charlatan in theScalar field because he was
telling people he could cureHIV, HPV, HSV, every sexually
transmitted disease, cancer, everything through remote Scalar

(09:20):
work.

Roland (09:20):
And Remote Scalar work.

Michael Scalar (09:21):
Yeah. It wasn't even like you were in his field.
He had, like, a Tesla coil andsome stuff.

Roland (09:26):
He'd send it to you.

Michael Scalar (09:26):
Yeah. And he would send people to EE system
presentations. Go learn aboutthis kind of technology that I'm
selling at an EE systempresentation. It happened to
Shantani in Hawaii, we were justlike, oh, man. We don't even
know what to do with this guy.
And we're like, how is he stilloperating? But I think he, like,
had a church or something. Itwas a little, like, ecclesiastic
nonsense. Finally finally, hedid get cracked down on a bunch.

(09:47):
And we heard reports of, youknow, he was doing credit card
fraud with people not lettingthem cancel their subscriptions.
Probably very lucrative. But wewere all complaining because
it's like, this guy is making usall look so bad by being so
brazen and making such boldclaims, and I have no idea if
there's people out there thathad had a good experience with

(10:07):
what he was doing. If if you hada Paladino experience, please
drop something in the comments, good or bad. I'm curious. I I
heard a lot of bad.
Maybe we'll find a couple good. But there's people that come
into this industry, and theymake the same claims as people
like EE System. Obviously, wewe're probably the most
copycatted for verbiage in ourmarket because we're so good at

(10:29):
explaining industry, which is avery, very hard industry to
explain.

Roland (10:32):
There's a great idea. I'm gonna literally put you on
the spot. I wanna run down somedevices because I know you had
some experience analyzingthings. Right?

Michael Scalar (10:40):
So Yeah.

Roland (10:40):
Light therapy. Useful, useless in your opinion.

Michael Scalar (10:45):
Well, I mean, there's lots of you mean, like,
red light or just light ingeneral?

Roland (10:49):
Anything within the color spectrum, infrared saunas,
ultraviolet stuff. Like, do yousee some utility in them, or

Michael Scalar (10:56):
do you think they're saunas, I mean,
obviously, changing the spectrumof of the the heat and the light
being utilized in these is isthere is a modulation that
occurs. Mhmm. Do I know if it'sbeneficial from a scientific
standpoint? It's hard to toquantify that. Mhmm.
But I do know that I lovesweating because then shit's
getting out of my bloodstream.Yeah.

Roland (11:15):
It's great. Like in an infrared sauna, your body
absorbs the infrared light, increases core temperature,
enhances blood flow and alsolymphatic flow, and it starts to
get things out, you can detoxifya little bit that way. So I
would put that in the categoryof contextually useful. You
might not want to go in saunaevery day because you may have
excessive mineral loss, or ifyou're someone who's dealing
with a cardiovascular issue, youmight not want to stress your

(11:38):
body too much because it is Or

Michael Scalar (11:39):
do on a micro dosing scale, so not you know,
your thirty minutes That's too agood high. Go in for

Roland (11:46):
Five minutes might be enough for some people.

Michael Scalar (11:48):
It depends if the sauna's already hot. Yes.
But, yeah, I mean, you're justgetting some I mean, your fat
will emulsify under heat too, soyou're mobilizing toxins on on
your your fat level, on on your, you know, sweating things out.
So you went out drinking oryou're heavily toxic. Skin's the
largest organs.
It'll literally just seep out ofyou, you get some funny smells
with people that are really sickin those. But no, saunas are

(12:11):
probably the most underrated andextremely valuable technologies
in the wellness community. Theproblem is you have a lot of
people that are cheapening itup, they're using a lot of
chemical woods. They're usingthe tents are made out of
polyester, which that's bad toheat up.

Roland (12:28):
There's EMF emittance for certain saunas that A lot

Michael Scalar (12:30):
of them have be high.

Roland (12:31):
So you have to find a

Michael Scalar (12:32):
good one. You wanna get the ones that are
yeah. It's hard to say ifthere's ones that are marketed
as low EMF and unless youactually have third party meter
them. God only knows.

Roland (12:40):
Isn't it funny how we just assume, like, says low EMF?
Alright. It is because they saidit, so I'm not gonna question
it.

Michael Scalar (12:46):
But there is a It's like that no sugar, but has
aspartame. Yeah. Like, you'regreat.

Roland (12:49):
Okay. So sauna's in the category of useful. What about
all these light panels? Peopleare doing red light therapy. I I
mean, I have these very uniquelight bulbs that I use with
people.
You can use, four zero fivenanometer purple light to kill
bacteria. You can use

Michael Scalar (13:05):
Well, that's different because I mean, there
are strategic UV lights, different lights that are gonna
actually immobilize differentthings that might be
contaminant, and that's verydifferent than a wellness
device. Obviously, those areextremely beneficial because you
could UV out medical sterilize,or during COVID, could have done
that to your fruits andvegetables if you were hyper,

(13:27):
concerned about getting anythingon your food.

Roland (13:29):
I have a laser that does it, and it's really good for
they use it in Southeast Asiafor dental infections. Green and
purple laser, when there'sbacterial overgrowth in an
infected tooth can actuallyhelp, basically it inhibits the
DNA of the bacteria So there'sspecialized clinical uses, but
everyone has a red light panelthese days. Let's Everyone has

(13:49):
all these

Michael Scalar (13:50):
dive into that. So there's different spectrums
in red light, different bulbs, there's medical grade LEDs.
There's a lot of differentmoving parts to red light
therapy. Can you just use a redbulb for red light? To some
degree, possibly, because it'sthe spectrum of red, and you're
trying to get some efficacy fromthat.
From what I've heard from, andthis isn't my specialty by any
means, but from what I've heardfrom a lot of the pros is, there

(14:12):
are very specific ways of usingred light, and different
specific spectrums.

Roland (14:19):
Mhmm.

Michael Scalar (14:20):
And you obviously want medical grade
LED, otherwise, you know, you'regonna you want it want it to
pierce into the body as well.

Roland (14:26):
That's a great point.

Michael Scalar (14:27):
There's a lot of people that are selling these
hats that have LEDs in them, andthey're supposed to grow your
hair. I've I've never heard ofanyone that said I stopped being
bald before I bought mine. I'msure you yeah. You

Roland (14:38):
make a good point though about the red lights and the
LEDs. What most people don'trealize is photon that comes out
of a light is different thanwhat comes out of a laser. So
coherent light is like a line ofpeople marching one after the
other. Like imagine a militarymarch where there's a long line
of people. There's a coherenceand a momentum of how that light

(14:59):
will go across

Michael Scalar (15:01):
distance.

Roland (15:01):
Yeah. A red light panel, it's like people lined up
laterally all moving forward. There's no depth of penetration.
So when the light comes out ofthose panels, it doesn't go very
far. So you may be gettingilluminated by the light, but it
might not be coming close enoughto you to actually penetrate the
skin and absorb things.
So if you're using a red lightpanel, from my understanding,

(15:23):
like you said, you need aspecific wavelength, but you
almost need to be like nose to

Michael Scalar (15:26):
It's like the only really good ones are
actually the tanning booth oneswhere you're literally like
clenched down. Those beds. Andyou can't do a ton of it
apparently. So you're, you know,it gets really hot in there and
just the heat alone couldactually be a large part of
mobilizing fat. Yeah.
But I've never heard of anymiracle stories from red light
therapy. So obviously, when youhave things like the EE system,

(15:47):
and I'm clearly involved inthat, I'm like, well, why would
I bother with that when I can'tuse this? Then we have miracle
stories around the clock.

Roland (15:53):
I think to make it simple and and demystify, light
energy photons are littlepackets of information the body
can absorb. Yep. And you canabsorb that light energy, and
they have places in the bodywhere they might be able to oh,
I almost knocked off my. Don'tdon't lose your Don't do it. You

Michael Scalar (16:11):
lose my frequency.

Roland (16:12):
Hold on. Was Get out of thought. Tune. They're telling
me this is what they want me tosay about the red light. There's
certain areas of your body thatcan absorb the light energy in
the mitochondria of, like, skincells, things of that nature.
And when you increase the energyin a cell, you increase the
health of the cell. Yeah. That'sreally what it does. It can help
influence water dynamics in thebody. It might do something for
overall energy expenditure andthe experience of feeling more

(16:34):
energetic, not a stimulant likean energy drink, but there is a
limited utility to them.
It's not, it's not going to cureanything, but it's something
that you have to do dailybecause the effects are
cumulative.

Michael Scalar (16:45):
Yeah. Fair?

Roland (16:47):
Fair. PEMF pads. I know you've really gone deep on these
things.

Michael Scalar (16:52):
Yeah. I I thought about bringing PMF into
the EE system ecosystem. And,obviously, we have our
hypercharger. We're doingcrystals. A lot of these mats
are laid with loads of smallpieces of crystal, which are
magnificent.
And I kinda stopped for a coupleof different reasons. This
timing was wrong, but also Inoticed that I I I had nine or

(17:13):
10 different ePMF mats. All ofthem had massive amounts of
EMFs. So I was measuring the EMFand the magnetic. So the
magnetic would be your pulsedmagnetic fields.
So I found two that were wouldbe passable, and maybe if we
hypercharged them, it wouldwork. But then there's the build
quality, and I was like, thesejust for the price ratio and

(17:33):
what there's a largecompetition.

Roland (17:35):
They're so expensive for what they are.

Michael Scalar (17:37):
They really are. So I kind of fell out of it, but
it it was fun finding out howmuch EMFs are coming off these
PMF mats. And then I was like, there's I know there's ways to
actually lower the EMF rangebecause actually we started
building our own coil systemsthat have no EMF, but have a
pulse of magnetic frequency.

Roland (17:57):
Which is what you want. You want that pulse magnetic
Yeah. And for people who can seethis, if you have a flow of
magnetism this way, you have aflow of electricity this way, so
it it's the admittance of bothfields of information that could
be beneficial or detrimental. Inthe case of a lot of PEMF pads.
I think it's also the chargingstations that are attached to

(18:18):
the device.
Yeah. They it's like a Wi Fibeacon of, dirty electricity
that comes off of them.

Michael Scalar (18:24):
It's you're you're you're getting a lot of,
EMFs off the 60 cycle that'sjust coming out of the outlet or
if you're one twenty whereveryou at two forty. So would I use
PMF? I think it would bespecific. I personally wouldn't
use PMF. They're, I think they, they generate a lot of heat,
which I thought would be a greatmarketing towards women who were

(18:45):
on their cycle because that heatwould help them, you know, they
lay on their stomach and thepulses between the pulses and
that heat be very comforting.
But I I think we can make bettertechnology. We can make it
stronger, faster, less EMF.

Roland (19:00):
PEMF devices, most of them, the good ones, were
actually designed andmanufactured in the eighties,
and they've just been updatedvisually. Like, the technology
came out of Russia and Germany. It is old stuff. I mean, the
reason we know that we can keepan astronaut alive in space is
because the Russians figured outthat they had to put in a
Schumann resonance in a spacestation so the deterioration of

(19:23):
the body wouldn't acceleratebecause when you're disconnected
from the Earth's magnetic fieldGravity. Yeah.
All that good stuff. The theoryof gravity. We won't get into
that But most people don't knowthat PEMF isn't a thing. Like
there are different frequenciesthat come off the device and
those frequencies have theability to resonate with
different tissues. Like if youwant your red blood cells to be

(19:45):
less sticky and flow better, that's a certain bandwidth.
The frequencies if you want tochill out your nervous system,
that's a certain bandwidth. Thefrequencies and my worry
nowadays is because in theWestern world we just rust, rush
stuff out to manufacture. When Igo to these conferences, I ask
the people who are selling theseitems, well what bandwidths of
frequencies are you emitting? And they look at me like I have
three heads and they also go,shit, you had to ask me that

(20:08):
question.

Michael Scalar (20:08):
No. Don't ask the good question.

Roland (20:11):
It's no different than asking the farmer, what did you
fertilize this plant with whenyou grew it? I want to know
everything so I know what I'mexposing myself to because we've
been so reductionist that we go,Oh, PEMF is good. Therefore I'm
just going to do PEMF. It's notone thing.

Michael Scalar (20:26):
Yeah. Well, it's the consumerism of everyone's
buying things from China andjust slapping a logo on it and

Roland (20:33):
But good

Michael Scalar (20:34):
PEMF has some utility. Buying stuff from
China. Any more? I know someonein in this in in our specific
industry buying things fromChina, slapping anyway.

Roland (20:47):
That sounds like a pyramid scheme to me.

Michael Scalar (20:49):
It it pyramid scheme. Yeah. That's

Roland (20:52):
They sent they sent me

Michael Scalar (20:53):
that one. It was they. Blade them. But, yeah, red
light, all all the differentmodalities out there.

Roland (20:58):
EMF is

Michael Scalar (20:59):
Finding cheap stuff to regurgitate here, and
they're not actually concernedabout the the underlying
technology there that we're inthis industry. I have red red
lights. Lights. Yeah. Yeah.
I I have have pyramids. I have

Roland (21:08):
to do some research as a consumer. Another one, I'd be
interested to know what youthink of rife frequencies. Sound
frequencies to target differentYeah. Familiar with rife.
Maladies and ailments in

Michael Scalar (21:18):
I've the had a lot of rife rife treatments over
the years, and I've noticed veryminimal effects. Almost nothing?
Probably zero. Not even almost, like, effect whatsoever. I think
it's I think the the concept ofrife is was probably very
awesome.
The regurgitation of the spinoff of the technologies that

Roland (21:40):
It's that. It's the it's the bastardization of the
original work. I'll give you anexample. I was bitten by a tech
in California in, like, 02/2021.Mhmm.
It was around COVID time. And Ihad to do a lecture in LA, and I
was feeling terrible. So I wentto this guy's clinic, and he
puts me on the right thing. He'slike, oh, I'm just gonna scan
you for all the, what's called,it the, Lyme frequencies,

(22:04):
Borrelia, Bartonella, Babesia. And he's like, you come up
clear, you're fine.
And it was just like, put you onthe PEMF, put you in the
hyperbaric oxygen. And then Iwent on my way and I started
feeling worse as time went on.

Michael Scalar (22:16):
And I

Roland (22:17):
had a buddy who did, EAV testing. You know what that is?
The, you take a device and youcan go into the acupuncture
meridians and you can measurethe electrical current going
through them. We can get to thatone next. And when he tested me,
he's like, how are youfunctioning?
I've never seen a Lyme patientcase come back like this. So the
RIFE machine that this guy putall of his eggs in the basket of

(22:40):
in terms of my assessmentbecause you can't medically
diagnose through a RIFE machine. It was the exact epitome of what
you just said. It was abastardization of the original
thing. It doesn't mean there'snot place for sound, But if
you're making all of yourdecisions based upon something
like assessing and treating witha RIFE, I think it's very

(23:01):
reductionist.

Michael Scalar (23:02):
Yeah. I mean, there's there's a lot of RIFE
technologies out there. I Ican't name one that I've tried
where I was like, oh, this isthis is legit. Mhmm. Or I feel
something from it.
Or my candida's gone oranything.

Roland (23:13):
Know? But it might not be a bad idea to say, well, if,
you know, if I know there arecertain frequencies that are
supposed to be harmonious to thenervous system to whatever, I
can just have it on in thebackground. If I have, you know,
someone who's doing, I don'tknow, a talk therapy session and
I have a five twenty eightfrequency generator, it's
probably not going to hurt, but

Michael Scalar (23:32):
Back again to my talk on frequency specific
things kind of nonsense becauseeverything is far more expansive
than a single frequency. Mhmm.So does this kind of stuff have
some benefit? I I think so. Iyou get into the gigahertz
frequencies of sound, and if youfigure out a scientific way to
actually focus them very, very

Roland (23:54):
I have something like that where I can use high
frequency EHF in the gigahertzrange, I can scan and Well, no,
I

Michael Scalar (24:01):
think you could destroy cancer. Correct.
Different, finding the right

Roland (24:05):
Kill microbes.

Michael Scalar (24:07):
I think it's extremely impossible, but I
think we're talking about veryhigh level science versus shit I
bought on Alibaba.

Roland (24:14):
Yeah. If it costs you under a $100.

Michael Scalar (24:17):
No. Some of these things are like $30 and
they do nothing like Really

Roland (24:20):
that much?

Michael Scalar (24:21):
There's there's some that are that I mean, I I
think they're taking thatapproach of, well, we'll seem
ultra premium by being premiumpriced, but we're selling stuff
from China.

Roland (24:29):
Fair.

Michael Scalar (24:29):
And I'm not making fun of any I actually
don't know the names of any ofthe companies out there that do
stuff, but I'm sure there's somethat are amazing. I'm I don't
wanna knock the industry, but inmy personal experience, I've
seen very little efficacy fromthe general RIFE technologies.

Roland (24:42):
Hyperbaric oxygen is another one. Have you tried

Michael Scalar (24:44):
I have. I know it's absolutely nothing.

Roland (24:47):
I've done a soft chamber and a hard chamber. They're
different. Medical grade ishard. For certain scenarios, I
can see the benefit, but peoplethink hyperbaric oxygen is a
super thing. You know what itreally just does?

Michael Scalar (25:01):
Makes you really, really bored in a
chamber for a while.

Roland (25:03):
Yeah, you feel like you're in a glass case of
emotion. There is this processin the body where it's basically
playing with positive andnegative charge. It's called
redox. So reduction inoxidization. If you're oxidized,
you're essentially stressed andinflamed.
I'm making it very simple here. And sometimes you want to

(25:25):
stimulate the teeter tottergoing into the reduced state.
When people are reducing, it'swhy are you taking antioxidant?
You you're trying to donateelectrons to balance out radical
molecules in the body. So whathyperbaric oxygen does is it
hyperoxidizes you to stimulateyour own antioxidant responses
because oxygen can be masternutrient, master toxin kind of

(25:49):
thing.
Because what happens when you goout to your car after it's rain?
What do the brakes look like? They're orange. Right? They've
oxidized.

Michael Scalar (25:56):
Right.

Roland (25:57):
So when the body oxidizes, it's degenerating.
When the body degenerates, it'susually accompanied with
inflammation. So for somepeople, a hyperbaric chamber can
stimulate the body's own naturaldefenses, I. E. Someone who's
struggling with a degenerativecondition of low energy because
whenever there's an oxygenlimitation, there's low energy.
And for an athlete, you'vestressed yourself excessively,

(26:19):
you have a buildup of metabolicacids and oxidization responses
from using so much energy toperform. It can help you recover
a little faster, but peoplethink they're magic. No. Mean,
They're

Michael Scalar (26:32):
very, very expensive to get the sessions. I
know a lot of people hadchronic, stuff before coming to
EE system. Yep. And they'relike, we've just spent a
$100,000 on hyperbaric, and itdid nothing. And then they they
had some great results with theEE system just like

Roland (26:44):
It does what it does, and it doesn't do what it
doesn't do.

Michael Scalar (26:46):
I mean, it has some benefit for certain people,
I'm sure, especially a diverwho's undergoing some sickness
and needs decompression.Speaking of that, diving.

Roland (26:56):
Diving.

Michael Scalar (26:56):
My favorite hobby in the world is ultra
healthy. You're under pressure. It releases nitric oxide when
you're in deco. You're you'reyou're getting, especially if
you're on nitrox, you're gettingenriched air. You I always feel
amazing after I go diving, atleast when I use an enriched air
on on the standard air, it canYeah.
It can gnark you a little aftera few dives.

Roland (27:15):
When you're getting hyperpolic, if your oxygen
saturation is even 1% low, likea 95% oxygen, 94% oxygen
saturation can make you feelreally sluggish. Yeah. So I'm
sure you're getting this massivepulse of oxygen that you're
breathing.

Michael Scalar (27:31):
That's why all divers should get their nitrox
cert.

Roland (27:34):
There you go.

Michael Scalar (27:34):
You do not get narc ed.

Roland (27:37):
Yeah. That is an interesting premise. Know,
you're also because

Michael Scalar (27:39):
you're on 32 to 36% oxygen on nitrox.

Roland (27:43):
Okay. Normal, it's like 21, 22.

Michael Scalar (27:46):
Yeah. You I mean, they they joke because
it's like this is thealcoholic's favorite sport
because you you're hungover inthe morning and you do nitrox.
Yeah. You you have some oxygenunderwater. It's grounding being
under the water.
Well, you're under you're you'rebasically in the epitome of
being in touch with nature.Yeah. It's it's grounding. You
have, the positive charges frombeing a ton of salt water if

(28:09):
you're salt water diving.

Roland (28:10):
Yep. Negative ions.

Michael Scalar (28:12):
And these really cute fishies.

Roland (28:14):
That's true. And

Michael Scalar (28:14):
beautiful corals. Sharks. Yes.

Roland (28:17):
Yeah. As long as you don't go head on, they're
friendly. Right?

Michael Scalar (28:20):
They're they're all friend I mean, I I don't
dive with tiger sharks or bullsharks or great whites.

Roland (28:26):
I was gonna say, just go over to the great whites.

Michael Scalar (28:28):
Right? But yeah.

Roland (28:29):
Well, the

Michael Scalar (28:29):
great whites really aren't that aggressive.

Roland (28:31):
No. There are people who free dive with them.

Michael Scalar (28:32):
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And so I've I've dealt
with a ton of sharks and they'resuper chill. See that.
Sea puppies.

Roland (28:39):
They're not looking for humans. They're more curious
than anything else.

Michael Scalar (28:43):
And most of the time, they've already snacked.
So it's like, we're not food.

Roland (28:45):
Yeah. Interesting. It's not quite an energy medicine
device, but it's

Michael Scalar (28:51):
It affects my energy. It's my medicine. Yes.
Let's move on to grounding.

Roland (28:56):
Well, okay. Ground grounding is actually, you know,
what's the best thing aboutgrounding in terms of its energy
medicine practice of investment?It's free.

Michael Scalar (29:05):
Well, I wanted to get into the gimmicky science
stuff. Okay. But the prob you'reright. Going up touch grass.

Roland (29:10):
Yes. Free. Well, the earth has a pulse that
fluctuates, but it'sapproximately 7.83 hertz, which
means every 7.83 cycles persecond, it just goes and it
emits a pulse. So the earth hasa heartbeat. And the human body
interestingly is also slightlynegatively charged.
The pH of our blood should be7.35 to 7.45. I don't believe

(29:33):
that's by accident. When webecome positively charged, when
we essentially accumulate a lotof dirty electricity and energy
from interacting with our modernenvironments, our bodies don't
work the same. There's energyfields in the bodies that it's
almost like the physics tellsthe chemistry what to do. So all
the biochemistry in the body isgoverned by the fields of
information, I.

(29:53):
E. The energy that is beingemitted from the cells, the
tissues and the organs. So ifsomeone never touches the earth
they're never groundingthemselves back out. Like we're
antennas, we're physicalantennas. This is not woo woo
science, this is an actualthing.
So you can pull electrons fromthe earth into your body, and
that's why typically people feelso good when they go to the
beach. You're getting all thefour elements. You're

Michael Scalar (30:15):
getting The ions. Yeah. You're getting
everything, but

Roland (30:17):
with your feet touching the ground, and and a friend of
mine who he's a acupuncturist inEngland, he told me this.
There's a meridian channel. Wecould talk about meridians
afterwards in Chinese medicine. There's a meridian channel that
influences the kidneys that canonly be stimulated through the
bottom of the foot. I don'tremember the name of it.
I'm not an acupuncturist oranything.

Michael Scalar (30:35):
He said Acupuncturist in the chat. Let
us know.

Roland (30:37):
Please do. But he said that it's a way to help manage
the flow of energy through thatmeridian, which helps you down
regulate the nervous system inthe body. And what's interesting
is every organ and tissue in thebody has an on and off switch.
There's a sympatheticstimulatory side. There's a
parasympathetic anti stimulatoryside, that's a word.

(31:00):
Do you know the only organ inthe body that doesn't have an
off switch? It doesn't have aparasympathetic innervation? The
brain? The adrenal glands. Oh.
What do the adrenal glands make?Adrenaline. Cortisol. So
grounding is one of the ways toturn off the chronic sympathetic
drive of cortisol productionbecause the body, not the mind,
the body feels that connectionto where it can I I ground every

(31:25):
chance I get? When I'm here, I'mout in the grass area your place
doing some kind exercise on thatpatch of grass because after
flying, being disconnected fromthe earth, it feels good to
ground.
So that's my thing, but you havesome some gimmicky signs you
wanna touch on.

Michael Scalar (31:41):
Well, I mean, you've got people plugging into
electrical outlets in officebuildings or, condos. Every
electrical device is pluggedinto that. So there's gonna be a
resonant back frequency thatcomes through the ground in a
building.

Roland (31:53):
If that plug is

Michael Scalar (31:54):
grounded. Yeah. Because it's connect it's a
circuit. Yeah. So unless you'rehammering in a copper rod
outside your house into theactual dirt

Roland (32:02):
Doesn't do anything. I'd you know,

Michael Scalar (32:04):
I wouldn't say it doesn't do anything. I just
don't think it's as advertised.

Roland (32:07):
Because I tried grounding sheets for a while. I
kinda sit wanna say that, like

Michael Scalar (32:13):
Does it get a woo

Roland (32:13):
or a woo woo? It was more of a womp womp because I
almost feel like over time, Ijust stopped using them because
I'm like, am I feeling like I'mtighter when I wake up? Because
I was thinking that what theymarket it as, you wake up, you
don't feel pain in your joints. Not that I feel a lot of pain,
but they say you wake up feelingvery relaxed and relaxed. Other
than the weird sound of yourbody moving over silver lining

(32:36):
fabric, I don't know that I feltany different, but my plug was
grounded.
So they give you this tester tomake sure it's grounded. What
you're saying is

Michael Scalar (32:45):
But you're still plugged into the circuit of the
entire building.

Roland (32:49):
Regardless if something's plugged into that
out only or

Michael Scalar (32:51):
way that you're gonna get a good ground circuit
for your body is a copper rodinto dirt Mhmm. With a copper
wire going to whatever you'regrounding. So if you happen to
have an office that is next tosome dirt, and you wanna run a
wire and a copper copper rodthat you could then put some
sort of ferromagnetic material, copper thin copper plating, or

(33:14):
if you I don't know if thosesheets are really the best
thing. When this concept firstcame out, I was playing a lot of
video games, so I'm like, oh,I'm underground. I did this.
And I put a copper rod, and myfeet would sit on the copper
rod. I actually did notice, like, it it did help And a
that's just the science in megoing, oh, well, is simple. It's
just a basic circuit. But if ifyou're plugging into a building,
we we got lights, we have to useI mean, you're plugging into

(33:35):
everything that's your fridge isrunning. I mean

Roland (33:37):
And to go deeper, if the energy coming into the home is
not coherently converted fromits input source, it actually
creates a disharmony wherethey're at a phase with each
other, and that emits a lot ofdirty electricity. Mhmm. And
that can really mess with somepeople.

Michael Scalar (33:51):
Yeah. Yeah. So I'm I think the concept of
grounding is good, but I thinkthe freeway versus the
capitalistic way is the way togo.

Roland (33:59):
It's it's amazing how few people with a lot of the
client work I do, one of thequestions I ask someone is how
often do your feet touch theground? And 80 plus percent of
people will say almost never. And I grew up in Canada, you
don't ground at all fromNovember, the crazy ones do.

Michael Scalar (34:14):
It's so cold.

Roland (34:15):
You do cold plunging instead, which is not not
grounding, but from Novemberuntil April, like you're not
touching the earth. Bank it asmuch as you can. I want to shift
gears because we talked aboutgrounding and meridians and all
that. Chinese medicine andAyurvedic medicine have always
fascinated me. And I've lookedat Chinese medicine and the
meridian system as kind of likeit's a really nice connection

(34:37):
point between the physical bodyand the nonphysical things they
call the subtle energies.
Because you have the organs thatare fed by the meridians that
basically convert the subtleenergies and they condense it to
physiologic energy and then youhave the extraordinary vessels
of which they're ate that feedthe organ meridian. So there's a
very nice elegantly designedsystem in Chinese medicine that

(35:00):
basically shows that there isthis connection between the
universal energy of what wecan't perceive in our bodies and
how we interact with that. AndI've always thought that because
it's been twenty five hundredyears of, you know, refinement
and evolution, if someone wantedto legitimize their experience
of energy medicine, tryacupuncture. Have you ever tried

(35:21):
acupuncture before? No.
You've never tried acupuncture? How have you been in this
industry?

Michael Scalar (35:26):
Bro, needles.

Roland (35:27):
Are you just afraid oh. It's it's freaky looking. So I
was gonna say, I have a littlefun word play. I don't think
anyone will get too offended. Iwas gonna say you're a needle
puss, but

Michael Scalar (35:37):
I'm I'm a needle puss.

Roland (35:38):
So do you know where the word puss comes from? It's not a
reference to someone's anatomy.Cat. Pussilanimous is a word of
essentially describing someoneas being meager or fearful or
something of that nature. Sowhen you call someone a pussy,
it's actually a real word.

Michael Scalar (35:54):
That makes sense because the actual female
anatomy is quite strong.

Roland (35:58):
It is. So you have to start telling people they're
being pussil animus and watchthem go. So back to you and your
pussil animus nature. You'venever had an acupuncture
session?

Michael Scalar (36:09):
Negative.

Roland (36:10):
Is it because of the needles? Yeah. You know that you
don't even feel them, right? They're literally

Michael Scalar (36:16):
My mind knows they're existing.

Roland (36:19):
Transmute the energy Michael.

Michael Scalar (36:21):
Me tune

Roland (36:21):
it in.

Michael Scalar (36:21):
Let me tune it. Nope. Hold on.

Roland (36:25):
You're over now. Okay. So what's interesting about
acupuncture is they're puttingthese needles along specific
meridian lines and meridiansconnect to organs not only in
their functional capacity butalso in their human centric
experiential capacity. What Imean by that is there are
different emotions thatcorrelate with different organs.

(36:46):
Anger with the liver, fear withthe kidneys, joy with the heart.
And if there's a stagnation ofthe subtle energy, there's a
stagnation of the physicalenergy in the organ that is a
physical thing. So you might seethe effects of liver dysfunction
on a blood test, but maybe thatperson also shows a personality
trait of excessive anger orresentment.

Michael Scalar (37:05):
Right.

Roland (37:06):
Or they may have an inflammatory look to them, know,
redness in their face, things ofthat nature. So to me, like,
that's a really interesting wayof saying, well, there's some
aspects of

Michael Scalar (37:16):
So I I take it you've done acupuncture.

Roland (37:19):
That and I've also been trained on German acupuncture,
German biological medicine.

Michael Scalar (37:23):
Don't tell me you've got, like, a kid a needle
somewhere.

Roland (37:25):
Well, I don't have to have a needle. I have a device
that Okay. This is where I'm I'mI'm bridge bridging it together
because in the early twentiethcentury, there was a doctor
named doctor Voell. Mhmm. And helooked at the Chinese system and
he saw that it was essentiallyan electrical current map.

Michael Scalar (37:43):
Sure.

Roland (37:43):
And there's a book that was called The Ground Matrix
that has actually identifiedthat a meridian is a piece of
connective tissue that comes tothe surface that transmits
electricity along the line andthey end at the terminal ends of
the fingers and the toes. So youcan use a device that puts a
very very small current into themeridian and you can look at the

(38:03):
rating because theelectroconductance of a meridian
point is different from the skinaround it. There's a higher
amount of conductivity.

Michael Scalar (38:11):
Sure.

Roland (38:11):
So you can say is the meridian inflamed?

Michael Scalar (38:15):
Are you you're referencing like biofeedback
device?

Roland (38:17):
It's it's kind of biofeedback but this is called
an electronic acupunctureaccording to Volt, EAV.

Michael Scalar (38:22):
Sure.

Roland (38:22):
It's a practice that was much more popular, but, like,
there's stories of the CIAraiding people's clinics in the
eighties and taking thesedevices. Because you can cure
things without trying to curethings. For example, you can
have someone who comes in like Ihave liver failure, I have
cardiovascular failure, and youcan start to pull things out of

(38:45):
the body that may be drivingthis because the whole premise
is if there is an accumulationof toxic material,
homotoxicology, you have todetox the body in the right
order of operations for thegiven person and you can test
products against someone'smeridian to see if it
stabilizes. So if a meridian'sagitated, you need to bring it

(39:07):
down a little bit. If it'sdepressed and if it's under
functioning, need to boost itback up because there should be
a certain amount of electricitythat's being conducted through
the current.
So this is another way of going,oh, I'm gonna treat the physical
body by looking at how energy isflowing in the system, and
there's a Chinese medicinephilosophy of how all the organs
connect. So I think this stuffis fantastic and it's

(39:30):
fascinating, and I think there'sa little bit of a resurgence,
but finding someone who doesthis is very hard. Oh. Oh, do do
you do this? I double.
I Are

Michael Scalar (39:39):
you a master at it? Like, Reiki

Roland (39:41):
I I let's let's put it this way. I am as masterful at
it as the average Reiki masteris nowadays.

Michael Scalar (39:47):
Just title master, not actual master.

Roland (39:49):
No. It it is, we're gonna get him on the show one
time. Like a gentleman who'sbeen mentoring me for the last
five years, he's been doing itfor over forty.

Michael Scalar (39:56):
Yeah. Bring

Roland (39:56):
him. And he he's gonna come in. He knows your mom. He
and your mom have known eachother in the last Everyone knows
my mom. Well, they're about thesame age.
They he remembers when your momfirst fired up one of her
devices in I don't even rememberwhen it was. Yeah. It was in
Colorado, I think. And he saidthere was this room they all
walked into. So I think it'd befun to have him and your mom on
and exchange some stories

Michael Scalar (40:16):
because went to the first system.

Roland (40:17):
Yeah. You and I can sit there, and we'll just let them
talk. And every so often, we'llinterject. Okay, guys. But,
again, it's another thing thatcan be perceived as woo woo
because you're, like, you'reputting a little thing to
measure the electricity, butpeople start to have reactions.
I literally have a story of aclient of mine who went to see
this person and he lived inChina for many years prior to

(40:39):
moving back to, North Americaand he always had issues with
throat stuff, cough, lungs. Andhe was talking to someone in his
house one day and he literallyand he puffed out smoke. And the
person on the other end frozebecause they were in mid
conversation and he puffed outthis little thing of smoke.

Michael Scalar (40:59):
Wow.

Roland (41:00):
And the thing he was detoxifying was lung
accumulation of environmentalcompounds. So it's a fascinating
study.

Michael Scalar (41:08):
That that's a trip. Okay.

Roland (41:09):
We'll get him on it at some point. So we've done the
gamut of energy technologies. Ilike to go very quickly into
things like human basedmodalities, psychic stuff, hands
on work. Any what what are yourthoughts on people who do this
stuff? Have you had anyremarkable experiences with
these kinds of things?

Michael Scalar (41:28):
I've met a handful of hands on healers
where Yep. They actually arehands on healing. Mhmm. A number
in the probably more Reikimaster, submaster

Roland (41:38):
Mhmm.

Michael Scalar (41:38):
That have some benefit, and you might feel
something, but not really ahealer. When it comes to
psychics, I've met a a verysmall amount of psychics that
actually have value Mhmm. Andsay good things. A lot of them,
I think, are more or lesscharlatan. And you should be
able to figure this out with alot of people because Mhmm.

(41:58):
A good psychic's gonna have agood following because they're
correct. And a bad psychic'sprobably gonna be on the side of
La Brea Freeway with this bigsign and, you

Roland (42:08):
know Will do sessions for money. Yeah. I think I think
the concept of psychic needs tobe dug into for a quick moment.

Michael Scalar (42:15):
Yeah.

Roland (42:16):
Every single person on this planet is psychic. I'll
give you an example. Have youever walked into a room, and I
know this your answer to thisquestion, and you've seen
someone and you immediately justgo, I don't want anything to do
with that person. You've nevermet them before.

Michael Scalar (42:28):
No. I I definitely, have an attune I
would be called a psychic thenif that's and you're right.
Everyone

Roland (42:34):
Everyone has a natural intuit. That's all it is. It's
information beyond the fivesenses that's an intuitive thing
that's hard to qualify orquantify because it's a personal
subjective experience. Peopleassociate psychic with the
fortune tellers, like, give meyour palm. I'll tell you when
you're gonna get married.
I'm gonna tell you how many kidsyou have and what their names
are.

Michael Scalar (42:53):
Nobody's psychics had told me that I was
gonna get married to some blondeor brunette or this random ass
shit that never happened. I'mjust like, okay. Alright. But
I've a heard few actually saythings where that happened. One
was a really great astrologeractually, and I think she was
more astrology Which

Roland (43:10):
is another cool science. And I've been pretty hard on
astrology, but I'm comingaround.

Michael Scalar (43:14):
Very hard on astrology because I've had mom
loves astrology.

Roland (43:18):
She loves astrology. How many degrees of Scorpio she

Michael Scalar (43:20):
is in her rising star. I I just thought she's
speaking Japanese because Idon't follow all that, but I've
had a few astrologers give bitsof information that occurred in
the future. And I was just like, alright. You have my attention
in astrology. But then others,it's complete woo woo.
So I I don't know what makes amaster astrologer.

Roland (43:36):
You know what I

Michael Scalar (43:37):
But I think it has a lot to do with their
understanding of energy and theatmosphere around people and and
a lot more than just the stars.

Roland (43:46):
Yeah. Astrology is really math. At the end of the
day, this is what turned me withastrology. So everything is
constantly in motion.

Michael Scalar (43:54):
Mhmm.

Roland (43:55):
So if you think about the cosmos, our solar system,
everything that's happening, when you came into the world and
when I came into the world, everything was at a very
specific configuration. Thisplanet was here. So there has to
be some structure and design tothat. It can't be some random
thing, and patterns and cycleshave to repeat. And when I
looked at it that way, I'm like,it's kind of like the inner

(44:15):
workings of a watch.
Yeah. It's the cosmic clock thatinfluences the outcome of things
and sometimes it gets crazy. It's like, oh, the president's
gonna go through this likely inthis time frame and it's gonna
you don't know that.

Michael Scalar (44:27):
Part I don't like. But I agree. If we're
energy and we're affected byother energy, we have a lot of
very large balls of energy, akaplanets, constantly moving
around as people have beenstudying those movements for a
long time, and that you getpattern recognition.

Roland (44:40):
That's what it

Michael Scalar (44:41):
is. Pattern recognition of understanding
that we are energy and affectedby other energy. And, obviously,
people had a lot more free timeback when they weren't
doomscrolling. So people werejust sitting out there

Roland (44:50):
watching masters of this.

Michael Scalar (44:51):
There was no TV. They they were watching these
things move around and be like, alright.

Roland (44:55):
Alright. Let's move. Yeah. No.

Michael Scalar (44:56):
I mean, literally, I mean, the the study
of the stars is probably one ofthe oldest arts on on the planet
as far as a science. So isastrology fake? Absolutely not.
It's impossible if you justunderstand the fact that we are
energy surrounded by otherenergy, and we are affected by
the movements of said energy.Information affecting
information.
The guy charging you a $100 totell you where and when and if

(45:17):
and are am I gonna get laid nextweek? You know? The this kind of
stuff, I I I categorize as woofor the most part. I I do like
the cycles of a good astrologerwill find that you're coming
into this cyclical part of yourlife. Yes.
So you should be cautious oraware or understand certain
things. But the ones that areclaiming to be able to tell you

(45:38):
the color of the girl's hairyou're going to marry, I just
like, alright. Here we go again. And

Roland (45:43):
I know a few good psychics. I've studied a lot of
this stuff. I've done some ofthis work with people. I think
where there's value in thisstuff, and this is a very double
edged sword. If someone's gonethrough trauma, if you're trying
to heal something, nothinghappens in a vacuum in someone's
life that's purely an isolatedphysical thing.
What I mean by that is if youhave developed a disease, if you
have a condition, if you havesomething you're struggling with

(46:05):
in life, component, there's amental component, there's an
emotional component, and there'sa spiritual component. That's
how I look at everything, right? And they're interdependent. So
let's say someone's dealing withan autoimmune condition and that
autoimmune condition might havebeen precipitated by a critical
life event, you can take thesupplements, go to the medical

(46:26):
facility, what have you, and tryto heal the body. But if you
don't heal the emotional stuff,if you don't heal the memory of
things, the behavior or thecompensation that has changed
you as a person that has evolvedout of these things.

Michael Scalar (46:41):
You needed the negative psychological feedback
loop to end. And I realized thiswhen I was younger. Obviously, I
had my mom and a lot of greatknowledge around

Roland (46:49):
Mhmm.

Michael Scalar (46:49):
Her teachings as a as a hands on healer, healer,
intuitive, the whole list. Butsomething I understood in my
teens was I would be like, therewas a we'll we'll give an
example. It was a bully who wasconstantly on me. And I I
remember laying in bed, and I'dmoved to another state at this
point. He was no longer in myaura, in my life.
And I'm sitting there at nighttrying to fall asleep thinking,
oh, this this this asshole.Mhmm. And I'm like, wait a

(47:11):
minute. Living rent free

Roland (47:12):
in your mind.

Michael Scalar (47:13):
Yeah. Exactly. So I I realized that there's
absolutely no reason for me toeven care. I forgive you. Move
on.
And it's just anytime that itwill come up, same process.
Yeah. I forgive you. No youknow, you're on your own path,
whatever. This littlepsychological process of
clearing it, and then it nolonger it no longer is rent free
in my mind.
So you you kinda have to gothrough this forgiveness

(47:35):
process. I forgive myself. Iforgive the person. I forgive
this event. I'm no longer avictim.
I'm no longer at effect of it.And once you go through this
process, you release the trauma.

Roland (47:46):
It's really manipulating, and manipulating
is in a negative context, thecontext of belief of your
reality, right? Because nothing, there's an old saying, nothing
happens outside of you.Everything that you're
experiencing is actuallyinformation that's being taken
in and processed inside of yourbody, your brain, what have you.
So when people are trying toheal things, I think there's an
opportunity for these kinds ofmodalities. Mhmm.

(48:06):
If the person has integrity, ifthey are authentic, if they are
skillful, they can acceleratethe process because ultimately,
if you continue to unlayer andheal things inside of yourself,
you can find peace, joy, love, happiness in yourself, and you
can spread that out into theworld. But the other side of it
is when people becomeobsessively controlling neurotic

(48:30):
and fearful to where they haveto consult their psychic on
every big decision in life. It'slike, No. No.

Michael Scalar (48:36):
Higher psychic bodyguard.

Roland (48:37):
A higher psychic bodyguard is like, they're
trying to oh, they're sending mebad thoughts right now. Look.
Psychic attack and all thosethings are real. If you can tune
in, you can this happens to meall the time. I think about
someone boom, they text me.
It happens to me all the time tothe point where even my wife's
like, really? Recently, therewas do you know the band called
the Mavericks? Have you heard ofthem? No. K.

(48:59):
There was this song that keptplaying in my head, and I
thought it was a different band.So I'm searching this song out,
searching this band out. Itdoesn't exist. And this song
just popped into my head, and Ihad not thought about it or
heard it in ten plus years. So Ifinally figured out it's this
band, the Mavericks.
It's a song, here comes therain. So when I put it on or I
googled it, that day the singerdied. Weird coincidence. Right?

(49:23):
As I say that, look, I got thegoosebumps.
So I think that you can work ontapping into various aspects of
information, but what I'mgetting at with the negative
side of it is if you don'tcultivate that within yourself
and you always default it tosomeone else who you say this is
the authority, this that's howthe charlatanism is created. You
give someone so much power andauthority over all the decisions
that you make in your life. Ifthey're not a good person, they

(49:45):
can start guiding you to dothings that is purely beneficial
to them. Thought. Thought.
Reality. There are unfortunatelysome our industry contains a lot
of people who are at the end oftheir rope in life. What I mean
by that is they're desperate. They're sick. Someone they know
is sick.

(50:06):
They are in high emotionalstress and they will do whatever
they can to try to helpthemselves, help someone else.
It's a prime breeding ground forthe grifters and the parasites.

Michael Scalar (50:15):
It's true. People are desperate and there's
They're easy targets.

Roland (50:19):
Yeah. When someone's emotional, they're not at their
center. And if you can get thememotional because you can read
people, you can be good withmanipulations and word choice
and how you present yourself.

Michael Scalar (50:28):
Truth and transparency, love and light.

Roland (50:31):
Yeah. It's not

Michael Scalar (50:32):
Buy my stuff. It's

Roland (50:34):
If anyone thinks this place is all love and light,
they are sadly mistaken. You canbe full of love and light in
yourself, but you have to bediscerning and have to use
discretion. And if you outsourcethe responsibility for your
decision making to anyone else, you'll be in trouble if you
don't trust yourself first andforemost. So that was a hold on.
Let me just

Michael Scalar (50:55):
Oh, yeah. You gotta get the grifter off your
aura.

Roland (50:58):
I just tapped into it.

Michael Scalar (50:59):
I didn't like them. Tapped into it.

Roland (51:00):
The parasite energy. Oh, no. But I think this was a
really I know. Not I think. Itwas a really fun conversation
examining this.

Michael Scalar (51:08):
And people in the comments, let us know your
thoughts on the thoughts and theenergy and the frequency and the
truth and the transparency and,oh my god, I'm getting a
message.

Roland (51:18):
Isn't it amazing how someone's voice automatically
changes when they get intotheir, like, spiritual channeler
mode?

Michael Scalar (51:24):
Oh, god.

Roland (51:24):
It's also my favorite videos of what people channel
and they, like, put on thisvoice, and all of a sudden,
like, everything about themchanges.

Michael Scalar (51:30):
I'm channeling from the great beyond.

Roland (51:33):
You know, in all seriousness, this pyramid on my
head makes me feel prettyrelaxed and dialed in.

Michael Scalar (51:38):
Yeah. I know. I mean, we probably won't be
crazy, but we're cool, man. We're cool.

Roland (51:42):
Your mom's

Michael Scalar (51:42):
We're spiritual gangsters.

Roland (51:44):
Your mom's friend who's no longer with us designed these
things. Yes. And he was, what, double, triple PhD?

Michael Scalar (51:50):
And a triple Leo. Yeah. Smart dude. He's
yeah. I mean, this grandson ofAlexander Graham Bell.
I mean, this is the the thepeople who literally learned how
to convey information throughtelephone lines across the
world. Probably a little They

Roland (52:04):
may had some good genetics there. Yeah, maybe. But
I think, you know, for you guys,if you want us to go into some
more deeper details in theenergy medicine conversation,
like we really wanna bringcredibility to this industry and
help share good messages. So ifyou have any ideas, suggestions,
please do drop them in thecomments.

Michael Scalar (52:18):
Yeah. And my message to the companies out
there that are probably pissedoff that we, are talking ill of
some things, get some research.Do research. We've been we were
probably the most researchedcompany in our our wellness
space, and I guess, under underthought and seen a lot of times.
There's like 30 pages of whitepaper on our website with a peer
review published coming.

(52:38):
ADHD, we have a seventy fourpercent efficacy. Adderall is
seventy to eighty percent. It'sabsolutely mental. You can just
go into an Energy WellnessCenter, and you're not gonna be
cleaning your closet at three inthe morning.

Roland (52:50):
You may have a nice relaxing experience rather than
tweaking. Well, and you know, just I'll finish with this too.
And this is something thatprobably should be said because
you know how to read research.I've conducted some clinical
research. People want a singlevariable in energy medicine to
legitimize something's efficacy.
Meaning they want to know theone thing it does, give me a

(53:13):
number, give me a thing thattells me it's absolute. It
doesn't work that way. If it's afield of information, I. E. An
energy tool, it's gonna have aneffect on the body.
It's going to collide with us asenergy and there's gonna be a
plus b equals c is the outcome.Mhmm. And different things are
gonna change. So you may see achange in heart rate
variability. You may see achange in attention span.

(53:35):
Energy medicine is gonna do whatit can do for the body, which is
why PEMF and red light and allthose things, they play the one
note that they play. It's notbad. Hope is not that sound.
Yeah. When it goes up, it'sencouraging.
When it goes down, major what isit? A major third and a perfect
fifth, they have very differentfeels, but people have to

(53:56):
understand that these things arenot simple. You're measuring an
open system that is the humanbody and the changes that you're
seeing

Michael Scalar (54:04):
of variables.

Roland (54:05):
And the patterns have to be recognized. Yeah. If you're
measuring HRV, if you see anincrease in high frequency
parasympathetic activity that'san overall relaxation and
conserving and resources andhealing of the body. If you're
seeing focus and attention, you're seeing the brain's brain
waves probably shifting from astress state to a more coherent

(54:25):
focused state. So energymedicine is still challenging
for the average person becauseour diagnostics are not
sensitive enough to get verysimple measurements to the point
where we can convey this stuffand there's no thought.
So people have to be patient. They have to experiment with
things and understand how itbasically affects them and

(54:45):
invest a little bit in learninghow the human body works. It's
the only reason that I wasagainst energy medicine when I
started in this field. I thoughtit was the biggest crock of shit
ever. Then I got humbled.
Then I started actually learninghow things work and I realized,
man, I don't know anything. ButI know enough to be relevant in
terms of what can I expect, whatcan I understand, and where can

(55:06):
I use this tool?

Michael Scalar (55:07):
A lot of our biggest supporters have actually
entered entered our field, ourspace, and our technology trying
to debunk us. And then they'relike, holy shit. You guys have
something.

Roland (55:18):
I think it's a perfect way to end this one.

Michael Scalar (55:20):
Perfect. Alright, guys. Like, comment,
subscribe. Do all those coolInternet things. Let us know in

about woo woo stuff.
We'll see you next time.
