When I started my journey to healing my burnout I tried all the common avenues, including therapy that was covered by my insurance. Therapy has it's time and place but it did not get me feeling any better in my nurse burnout experience. I have had several newer one on one clients coming to me with similar experiences. They left therapy sessions feeling like "they just don't get it."
