She said her name was Annette, and for some reason she looked vaguely familiar. She told me she had just turned twenty-one, and had recently moved here from Sandusky, Ohio. I said that was a coincidence, since I had lived in Sandusky many years before, and we talked for a while about Sandusky and how it had changed. Then Annette hit me with a verbal sledgehammer. She told me she was staying in the hotel adjacent to the mall, and then said, “Would you like to come to my room for a BJ?”
