Gen X kids: a tale of pegged jeans and feathered hair

Consider this episode of Everything Hurts a palate cleanser, as Cheryl and Danielle ask you to throw it back (but not too hard -  you’ll throw out your back) with a bit of nostalgia. They start the show by returning to early Gen X days of drinking from hoses, walking uphill both ways to school, and sitting on plastic couches at your grandma’s house (that noise when you peeled your thighs off on a summer day). They add into the mix the “finer” things in life, taking you down Memory Lane with visions of pegged jeans, KangaROOS sneakers, feathered hair (and the painstaking techniques Cheryl took to get it), Love’s Baby Soft, Bonnie Belle lips, Caboodles, and more, as Danielle closes it out with her not-so gentle nod to a Drakkar-wearing man.
