Episode 198 - Testimony Series: More Than We Could Ask or Imagine with Stephanie Haff

Stephanie Haff shares the miraculous provisions experienced during the making of their film. 'Daisy', aims to expose the dangers of witchcraft while highlighting Jesus's love. Stephanie (00:00):
Hi, I am Stephanie Danielle Haff, Actress, and also the writer and director of the film, Daisy, alongside Venus, Monique and Sharon Lanier.
We produced this film together.
This was our first production after also forming Kerusso ProductionCompany, and currently Daisy is going through the film festival circuit.
I can tell you before, during, and after, we have so many testimonies of God'samazing provision, whether it be financial, spiritual, relational, or it had to do with locations, the weather, the, the specific cast and crew God provided, uh, the protection, uh, the way that God surrounded us in, in every way.

(00:41):
There was so much that we were aware of, uh, but I'm also convinced thatthere's much provision and protection that to this day we're not even aware of.
Today I wanted to share with you one of the specific provisions, and that has to do with Godproviding a specific woman to also be involved in this project in greater ways than I ever imagined.

(01:06):
We were two weeks before filming was to begin on Daisy, and Daisy is a film in whichthe purpose is to shine the light on the deceptions and dangers of witchcraft, the reality of it around us, as well as the truth of Jesus's perfect and fulfilling love.
So let me set the scene here.

(01:26):
We had just decided to do night shoots and we were now in need of alast minute caterer who would be available to feed our cast and crew in the middle of the night and also be able to meet our budget, of course.
At the same time, I had a friend who was a host, uh, from Cornerstone Televisionhere in Pittsburgh, and she mentioned that she had just done this interview with this woman who had been rescued out of being involved in witchcraft for over 34 years.

(01:57):
So I watched this interview and I was, I was like, we need to talk to her right away.
So that same day I had an amazing conversation with Cindy.
I was blown away by her story over and over again, and the fact that the Lordhad connected us, um, you know, with someone with this deep understanding of both the, the dark spiritual world, as well as the light spiritual world.

(02:23):
I knew that she would be an amazing prayer warrior for us, with us, before, uh, as well as onset.
Uh, she offered to be there with us as a strong praying presence as we worked.
And I also asked her if she'd be willing to speak with one of our leadactresses, Kathy Patterson, who was playing the, uh, the role of the witch.

(02:46):
And, um, that was an amazing conversation and, and relationship built thereas well, so that she could even more, more truthfully portray her character.
So this conversation with, with Cindy was a huge blessing, uh, to say the least.
And it was incredible to have her as that prayer warrior...um, and again, you know, being able to meet with Kathy.

(03:09):
But as if those two things weren't enough, the next day I get a text fromCindy and it says this, by the way, I'm a caterer in case you need one.
I literally left out loud thinking, wow, God, you have a great senseof humor that he would provide- of course one of our needs, a saved ex witch to be our onset caterer for film that has to do with witchcraft.

(03:38):
I took one look at her website and we hired Cindy to be our onset caterer.
She was not only a powerful praying presence, but she is an amazing caterer.
So she blessed us big time, um, with her incredible cooking.
Um, and she's become such a dear friend to myself, Venus, Sharonne, and many other, uh, actors and and crew members we had on set.

(04:02):
Well, there's more.
Now, our film, Daisy, in conjunction with Cindy's testimony,we have this ministry tool that the Lord has provided.
So we've been scheduling private daisy screenings alongwith the presentation of Cindy's powerful testimony.
You know, it's one thing to have to have a film that shows the contrast betweenthe darkness and light spiritually, but, it takes it to a whole nother level.

(04:30):
When you have in the flesh someone who has operated in that world for almost 35 years, whocan testify that it is not something you want to mess with, and now for over 10 years has been living in the love, in the forgiveness, in the freedom and healing power of Jesus Christ.

(04:54):
So all that to say.
When the Lord calls us to do something and we follow and obey, he will not onlyprovide everything that we need, but so much more and we can trust that his provision and his, uh, purposes go far beyond more than we could ever ask or imagine.
