Intro (00:04):
Breaking the chain,
feeling the gain now I'm rising.
Open the gate, never to late nohiding.
Wings open wide trusing my God,ready to take off.
Ready to take off somedayI know I'm moving in the
(00:28):
right way.
I keep praying.
I keep praying.
Juantrell Lovette (00:39):
Hey y'all.
Welcome to Faithful Fin Talk.
I'm your host, Juantrell Lovette, and today title
is In the Beginning, and we'reworking on episode 57.
Um, actually, the title is TheBeginning, a Beautiful
Beginning.
The scripture that I'm focusingon, the actual chapter, will be
(00:59):
Genesis.
Um, because I actually wentback to the beginning.
This is real stories, realscripture, and real growth.
Welcome everybody to the bestpodcast that you will ever come
across.
If you are new here, I like towelcome you.
And if you're not new here, then you already know how we get
down.
Um, this right here is thebeginning of something beautiful
(01:22):
because I literally am startingover in a new career.
I'll share that later.
But not just a new episodeagain, not just a new chapter,
but a new surrender.
For the last week, I've been sosick, and I'm like, okay, I
need to surrender some things.
I need to surrender my health,my finances, my family,
(01:45):
everything.
But I had a problem with comingback.
So today we're going all theway back, back to where it all
began, and that's Genesis 1.
I did some research, I did somestudying.
I listen to Genesis a lotbecause it's the beginning of
the Bible and it breaks down thehistory of Adam and Eve's
(02:05):
family.
But when God speaks the firstword of creation, he doesn't
start with perfection, he startswith potential, and it was the
potential of the world justbeing empty.
And I don't know who this isfor.
Well, it could be for me, butit could be for anybody else.
You're not too late, you'rejust in your Genesis.
(02:26):
So, um, Genesis chapter one, verses one through five in the
New Living translation.
In the beginning, God createdthe heavens and the earth.
The earth was formless andempty, and darkness covered the
deep waters.
And the spirit of the God washovering over the surface of the
(02:48):
waters.
Then God said, Let there belight, and there was light.
And God saw that the light wasgood, and that was the first
day.
Um, when I was reading Genesis, and I was like, God is just,
you know, he's just crazybecause he created something out
(03:08):
of a formless space.
He said, Let there be light, and boom, voila, there was
light.
Well, that's what the Bibletells us.
None of us was really there tosee God's creation, but from
chaos to creation, that's how Ilook at what God did and
constantly creating somethingnew in my life, your life.
(03:29):
Um, it's always on a new basis.
And so what shook me about thechapter of Genesis wasn't that
God created, it was the factthat He created out of the words
says the earth was formless andempty.
Some versions say even void anddark.
(03:49):
I know what void and dark feelslike.
I constantly go through my voidand darks, but right there in a
chaos chaos, God was hovering, not distanced, not confused, He
was present.
And he was creating somethingin the presence of something
that was nothing there.
And so I felt that because I'mlike always constantly battling.
(04:12):
What am I supposed to be doing?
What am I supposed to becreating?
What am I supposed to be livinglike?
And God started over to me,started to tell me, you know,
this is a spiritual thing.
It can feel messy, it can feelshaky, it feels like darkness
covering deep waters, but thisis a spiritual thing.
So if the spirit hovered therefor the heart, for the earth, I
(04:37):
know that the spirit is hoveringover me too.
And if I'm constantly gettingwith God, then God is gonna
constantly allow the spirit tocreate things in me.
And so I've been in a space ofstarting again.
Like I said, I'm gonna bestarting a new career, and I
kind of don't want to shareright now, but I just wanted to
(04:58):
share how excited I am to bestarting something because I'm
just that type of person whojust likes to constantly keep
going and doing something.
But it's not because I failedin my last venture, it's because
I actually constantly keepsurrendering.
And so God is like, okay, on tothe next.
I had to give God everythingthe pressure, the pride, the
(05:18):
plans I tried to control, evenwhen it comes to this podcast,
even when it comes to recordingor just being up in my space, I
constantly have to give overcontrol.
And I sit here recordingepisode 57.
I know I'm not the same woman Iwas at episode 50.
I was a little bit shy and Iwas a little bit like, what's
(05:38):
going on?
And Chris can agree because hesaw me, but because something
new is being formed, not just inmy podcast or my brand or my
work, but in my spirit, and it'sconstantly being able to
surrender because I constantlywant to be in control.
So God said, Let there belight, and in me, I hear him
(06:00):
saying, let there be healing, let there be softness, let there
be wholeness again, let yourlight shine through, even when
you feel like there's nothingthere, even when you feel void
and dark.
So I was like, Okay, I hearyou, but can somebody else hear
you?
Or am I hearing you correctlywhere it can dwell into my
(06:23):
spirit and then I could be okaywith this?
So in Genesis chapter 1, verses27 and 28, God created human
beings in his own image.
In the image of God, he createdthem.
Male and female, he createdthem.
Then God blessed them and said,Be fruitful and multiply.
(06:45):
That's the blueprint.
He created them in the image ofbeing a powerful being.
That was big for me because Iwas like, you know, what is
this?
We have all this confusion.
Boy, girl, him, her, she, him, what's your pronouns?
God literally created them.
You were not made to merelyexist, wantrell, or anybody else
(07:07):
listening to this.
You were made to reflect God.
You can start over and becreated something new to
multiply, to steward, to carrysomething divine in your daily
life.
And I'm talking to myselfbecause I constantly have to
remind myself well, if Godcreated heavens and earth within
six days, and then he rested onthe seventh day, what is he
(07:29):
doing with you on trail intoday?
So if you've been questioningyour value, remember you were
God's idea and he called yougood.
Because when he made mankind, humankind, he made them.
And he was like, Yeah, this isgood.
Yeah, I did that, right?
So when you're at the startagain, to the one who's
(07:50):
listening, even talking tomyself who's starting from
scratch, wherever I'm startingfrom, emotionally, spiritually,
financially, mentally, I'm notstarting from a mental broken
space, but a place where God hasbroken me down.
He's like, This is mymasterpiece.
Let me become, make her of whatshe needs to become.
(08:11):
And that's an everyday thing.
That's everyday surrendering toGod.
Like, okay, I'm not in control.
And beginning with God, theyalways start in darkness, but
they don't stay there.
So I'm like, what do you wantme to do, Lord?
Because sometimes I don't wantto do this, right?
So let's be real.
(08:32):
Day one of anything is usuallymessy, dark, void, blackout,
clueless, don't know what to do.
Whether you're meal prepping ormindset shifting, it's awkward,
it's slow, and it'sunorganized.
I know because I'm right there.
This may look put together, butI'm really going off of the
(08:55):
strength and the capacity ofsaying, I surrender, God, what
do you want me to do?
But don't let the mess of theday one make you miss the
miracle of day six.
I started back on episode 50,or now on episode 57.
That's a big deal for me.
Because even God took time andhe still said it is good.
(09:16):
He did not even createeverything in one day, he
created things in separatetimes.
He was like, Y'all give somelight on this day, some stars
here, some earthly things here, some seeds here.
So this episode is not just acelebration of the beginning,
it's a declaration that whatI've what I've been building and
what I'm building, we'reactually building, and it's
(09:38):
rooted in legacy.
So it's a seed being plantedthat I just cannot harvest yet.
But I'm constantly wateringthis seed, and it's a bit big
deal for me.
Lavette Legacy, Faithful FinTalk, the gift boxes that are
coming soon.
What I'm gonna show you, theconversation, the prayers, the
teaching, the tears.
Because I'm not a teacher.
(09:58):
Um, it's not in my credential, and I'm like, God, what do you
what do you want me to do withthis?
I'm not really a spokesperson.
I like to be in my own world,in my own zone, and even coming
on camera is very shy for me.
But I'm showing up and I'mhere.
And he's like, it all startshere, and we're just getting
warmed up.
I'm like on the surface ofbeing warmed.
(10:19):
Okay, it's not even lukewarmyet, it's like heating up, not
there yet.
But you can multiply what youwon't acknowledge.
And today I acknowledge thepower of a God plan beginning,
not mine, because I'm constantlychanging my mind.
So I constantly have tosurrender to what God planned
for me and not myself.
(10:39):
So I have gift boxes that arecoming soon.
Um, so before um I close, letme share something excited with
you.
For those of you who've beenwalking with me, I've been
creating some special giftboxes.
And they look like this prettybig box, and it comes with some
(11:00):
very good things.
Um, I've been creating theseboxes full of faith-based
things, and these are free.
These are free for you guysthat listen and tune into the
podcast, and it's just my giftfrom Faithful Fin Talk, um,
where I can give back, you know, scriptures, resources, and
things like that.
It's not yet done, but it'sjust a gift to say, okay, I want
(11:22):
to give to the world and Idon't know what to give, so I'm
gonna give what God gave me.
Um, which is Bible and thingslike that.
It's not really here yet, it'scoming and they're coming from
my heart, they're coming out ofmy pockets, I'm paying for this,
and like I said, it's free.
So whether you're a subscriber,a supporter, or just someone in
need of a little hope, theseboxes are being designed with
(11:46):
you in mind.
And it might take a littletime, but just know that I'm
working on something in thebackground.
So more details will come soon, but just stay tapped in.
Um, but these boxes are prettydope.
It comes with Bible, it comeswith markers, it comes with all
kinds of stuff.
Don't want to share too much, but just know it's a big box.
Um, so stay connected to me.
(12:07):
Um, stay connected to thepodcast.
Not so much to me, but stayconnected to the podcast.
Because if the today's episodelike spoke to you in your

I had people um commenting andtagging me, and I'm sorry I
don't have the comments and tagsright now, but just in
reference, people was um veryhappy to be listening to the
podcast.
Um, we didn't, we're not likeBible Bible study, you know,
like how it was before.
And it's because I don't know,I've I've been having God work
(12:53):
with me.
But you know, if this podcastinspires you to not just be all
up in your head and know thatsomebody else is going through
it, just know you're not byyourself, right?
So let's pray.
God, thank you for thebeginning.
Thank you for the darkness thatdoesn't scare you.
Thank you for hovering over mychaos and the world's chaos, for
(13:18):
speaking light into places Ithought were dead.
Remind me that I'm made in yourimage and remind remind others
that they're made in your image.
Help me to steward this newseason with grace and with power
and with patience and let everylistener know that their
beginning is still blessed.
(13:39):
Amen.
Um, thank you guys for walkingwith me on today's episode.
Thank you for growing with meon today's episode.
We are um officially, you know,in effect, but um just stay
patient with me because I get somuch in my head about doing
these podcasts, and it's just sogreat to have um people that
(14:03):
believe in me, but me for somuch to believe in myself um to
do this, to show up in myDululu.
I have to be delusional whendoing this because I'm the one
that knows.
So this is real stories, realscripture, real growth.
Until next time, you guys.
Intro (14:19):
