What happens at the moment of salvation?
When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you become a new creation in Christ. Your past no longer defines you, and you don't have to spend your life looking backward with regret over what you should have done differently.
In this first episode of Friday Freedom Moments, author Heather Lancaster shares encouragement from 2 Corinthians 5:17 about what it means to be made new in Christ and how your identity changes through salvation. You are a son or daughter of God, and because of what Jesus has done, you can move forward in freedom.
As you head into your weekend, consider this: If you are a new creation in Christ, what will you do with this new life?
