Recibimos a Ignacio Solana, gerente de Gesprotur, para explicar qué es y a qué se dedica este ente dependiente del Gobierno de Canarias, nacido hace poco más de un año de la extinta empresa pública Saturno.
"Nacho Solana", economista, fue designado para este cargo por la presidenta de su partido y consejera de Turismo, la también majorera Jéssica de León.
Entre los temas de la entrevista, están el debate en torno a la creación de una tasa turística en Canarias, el cambio de perfil de visitante que ha generado una creciente presión sobre el territorio, o los retos que plantea en el futuro cercano la actividad de Gesprotur, que el próximo año multiplica por diez su presupuesto.
