Well, we now have a married PM, Anthony Albaniz. He
got married on the weekend to his partner for you say, now,
wife Jody Hayden, and they got married at the lodge,
and so he's the first sitting PM to ever marry.
But I'm wondering if he's the first person to get
married also at the lodge.

Speaker 3 (00:31):

we always pay for our weddings.

Well, I think that they probably was saving money there,
saving tax payers money by getting married at the lodge. Anyway,

a lovely wedding. They just id to not have any
bridesmaids and groomsmen, so they just had Ella as a
little flower girl, that's Jodie's little niece. And they also
had Toto. His dog is the ring bearer and Toto

The flower girl had a little whit dress on too.
She looked absolutely gorgeous. The dress was made by Romance
was Born, which is a beautiful fashion house and in fact,
if you ever want to see any work from Romances
was Born, they did a colad with Ken Doon and

their work is actually hotter at the moment, so they're
amazing designers. Really beautiful long sleeved white frock. She carried
some native flowers which was lovely. Now it was closely
guarded and we only know about it because all of
a sudden over the weekend, all the different politicians started
flying into Canberra. There was no sitting so.

Yeah, the journals were like, what's going on Yeah, and
they'd all be sitting on it for six weeks apparently.

small wedding, and I just I just want to say congratulations.
I think it's lovely that they you know, that they're married. Now,
she's made an honest man of it.
